00:00TV6 News caught up with three bakers, all Form 6 students, of the Signal Hill Secondary School.
00:07As a child, I was always in the kitchen with my mother baking, and I always loved it,
00:13so I decided to turn my passion into our business and make some money from it.
00:17Despite not having her own physical shop, Shekwania George said she decided to take her baking skills a step further
00:26with her brunch boxes.
00:28I don't have a shop at the moment. I operate online. You can find me at craverholics.tc on Instagram.
00:34So I sell from online. I take orders. I do baby cakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and I recently started brunch
00:41boxes.
00:43Fellow baker, Jiali Dickinson, said she remains proud of her development with her baked-to-perfection pastries.
00:51She said baking is her passion.
00:53Well, I've always loved being in the kitchen, whether I was cooking or baking with my grandmother.
00:59And from small, like primary school, I used to bake and just give away cupcakes or anything of the sorts.
01:06And now you have created it into a business.
01:09Yes, well, the Entrepreneurship Club event on Friday was my avenue to get out there and start my business officially.
