00:07Demijohn Cruikshank, is predicting that tourism would be the driving force of the economy
00:12in Tobago come 2025.
00:14We have to look at how we're doing the business of tourism from now on, from the business
00:25community.
00:26So please, look at what you're doing, see how we can get into the tourism product, because
00:35tourism is going to drive the economy of Tobago from 2025 onward.
00:41Mr. Cruikshank said there is new hope for 2025 with the completion of the A&R Robinson
00:47International Airport Expansion Project.
00:50We have a brand new airport. To all the business people in here, don't sit down and bore hope
00:58that it's not part of us. The government has spent over $1. something billion on the airport.

01:08Mr. Cruikshank said many meetings have been held with the THA as policies have changed.
01:16We had a new assembly for the last three years, and their policies changed drastically.
01:23So the business community sent a shockwave through the business community.
01:29The chamber has been meeting with the assembly several times.
