02:42Today, You've met a number of defectors from North Korea.
02:44And what was the reason more miejsce吻이 Why?
02:46Among those defectors, i'm going to write a story about Kim Eun-ju.
03:23had a worse journey
03:25than me
03:25and I like that response
03:28because it shows
03:28her sincere motive
03:31her motivation
03:33was not
03:33she never felt like
03:35she had something
03:36exceptional
03:37she's just like
03:38a sincere
03:39normal person
03:41that's what we want
03:43if we want
03:43an authentic testimony
03:45we need that kind of attitude
03:47so she really felt
03:53it's over
03:55my mom is never going to come back
03:57I'm going to die here
03:59and she had this
04:00fear as a kid
04:01so she decided to take a letter
04:03and wrote
04:04and I always felt
04:06that moment I think
04:07me as a writer
04:08was fascinating
04:08because of course
04:10you know
04:11it means as a kid
04:12she already had this instinct
04:13that she needs to leave a trace
04:15she needs to write something
04:16so it was all the
04:18all
04:19it's kind of indicating
04:21she was already
04:22unconsciously about
04:23writing a book
04:25you know
04:25because she
04:25this instinct
04:27it's very rare
04:27for a very young kid
04:29to have this instinct
04:29I need to
04:30tell what's happening
04:32I need to
04:33even if I die tonight
04:35I need to leave a trace
04:36as far as I know
04:43the book
04:43gained
04:44incredible popularity
04:46in the European continent
04:48so what do you think
04:49is the reason
04:50behind this
04:51incredible phenomenon
04:52sir
04:52I think it's because
04:54there's also
04:54from Europe perspective
04:56and also in the US
04:57and North Korea
04:57it's a very
04:58mysterious place
05:01very far away
05:02and we don't know
05:03anything
05:03so hearing
05:05direct testimony
05:06of especially
05:08a young girl
05:09like this
05:10was something
05:11a bit
05:11new for people
05:14at the time
05:14I think
05:16yeah
05:16it brings
05:17you know
05:18it's like
05:18it's like unveiling
05:19a mystery
05:19at least you hear
05:21first
05:22an account
05:23from someone
05:24coming from
05:25that very
05:25very far away
05:26strange place
05:27I'm sure
05:32she's gonna do
05:32a more interesting
05:33thing also
05:34in the future
05:35about North Korea
05:38but also
05:38as a
05:39simply
05:39a human
05:40person
