The body of 52 year old Samuel Celestine Briggs was found in Mason Hall Tobago, on Saturday morning and while foul play is not suspected an autopsy is to be performed to determine the cause of death.
Mr. Briggs lived at a room on the Elizabeth Dennis Baird grounds for some time. More in this Elizabeth Williams report.

00:17The body was discovered when children were on the field getting ready to carry out their
00:22usual Saturday morning football practice when a foul stench emanated throughout the ground.
00:29The startling discovery was made and Tobago Police were called to the scene.
00:34The District Medical Office of Health ordered the body removed to the Scarborough Mortuary.
00:39An autopsy is to be performed to determine the cause of death.
00:43Tobago Police are continuing inquiries.
