00:00Police reports state an officer was on duty in the Bettel area when he observed a man, namely Ronel Marcel, who was wanted for several offenses in the Chauvin district.
00:11The officer approached the man, identified himself as a police officer, told him of the reports and attempted to arrest him.
00:19A struggle ensued and it is alleged Marcel alias Ratti pulled a knife and a cutlass and attempted to stab the officer.
00:27The officer discharged his service weapon, hitting Marcel.
00:31Marcel was taken to the Scarborough General Hospital to seek medical attention, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
00:38One villager, however, is not happy with the death of Mr. Marcel.
