00:00Those matters are actively under investigation and they are moving at a rapid pace as fast as we can because we understand the need to give the public information and the public is crying out for answers.
00:14And let me tell you that those investigations will be done as fairly as we possibly can in the shortest possible time.
00:22Senior Superintendent Eli said the two officers involved in the police shootings where two men died remain on active duty.
00:31Yes, they are on active duty.
00:33Any, any, has the files gone to the DDP as well?
00:39No, the files haven't met that stage. The files are presently still within our remit.
00:45We are reviewing them and looking at areas where further investigation or further information is needed and gathering that information before we send that file forward to the DPP for a directive.
00:59He said the arson attack at an officer's home following the shooting death of pensioner Frank Sandy is also being investigated.
01:08We are working on that again as a separate investigation.
01:12We have received certain information which we are working on, but you know, those, there's very sensitive information and we need to be careful as to how much we divulge at this stage.
