01:15Just make sure you come back home safe.
01:17I don't want to see you come back home.
01:19The grieving father said he wants justice for his son.
01:22Are you calling for justice anyway?
01:23Yeah, yeah.
01:24I had to call for justice because my son just 22 years of age, now start to live a life.
01:30Now living a life.
01:31I'm now trying to organize to put a studio downstairs so my son that write, he could get a studio downstairs
01:36because you're a big man, you know, let it come up from the house and go down downstairs and get it downstairs like yourself as a young fella.
01:45So what I had to do my son that for?
01:48According to police, at around 2.30 a.m., Trevon Walker, 22, of Ladysmith Trace, Mariah, was driving a Silver Axio motorcar proceeding north along Highland Road, Mariah,
02:02when another vehicle pulled in front of his, forcing him to stop.
02:06Mr. Walker raised an alarm and pulled aside, jumping out of the vehicle and ran into some nearby bushes where he was shot multiple times.
02:16He died on the spot near a drain.
02:19Walker's body was found in some bushes on the eastern side of the roadway.
02:23The District Medical Office of Health, Dr. Potts, viewed the body and ordered it removed to the Scarborough Mortuary.
02:30Senior Superintendent of Police, Earl Eli, told TV6 News, drug and gun motives have been ruled out in the case.
02:39However, investigations are ongoing, we are hopeful for a breakthrough in this murder based on the information that we have so far.
02:49What can you tell us so far? Was he known to police?
02:53No, no, he wasn't known to be involved in any illegal activities.
02:56What I can say from the top of my head is that the murder is not suspected to be gang-related or drug-related.
03:04Any murder is one murder too much.
03:07Despite the numbers being low in Tobago, we still view this as a serious incident and it will be treated as such.
03:14But for me, one murder is a murder too much.
