The semi nude body of a woman yet to be identified was found along Saw Mill Trace, in Mt. St. George Tobago on Saturday, shortly before 11am. This brings the murder toll in Tobago to seven. Elizabeth Williams has this report.

00:00Police reports state at around 10.56 a.m. on Saturday, a 29-year-old resident of
00:07Hope and his girlfriend were driving along sawmill trees amongst St. George
00:12when he observed the body of a female over a precipice. A report was made to
00:17the police and Inspector Piggott and other police officers visited the scene.
00:22They viewed the body of a female wearing a green top with her undergarment pulled
00:28down. There was what appeared to be blood on her face. She was declared dead
00:33at the scene by the District Medical Office of Health. So far the body has not
00:38been identified. And on Friday night, six people were injured in a drive-by
00:43shooting in the village of Speyside shortly before midnight. According to
00:47police, around 11.55 p.m. on Friday, a group of persons were standing on the
00:53roadway outside a nice bar located at Wynwood Road, Speyside when a white
00:58Nissan Tida motorcar slowed down nearby and several shots were fired in their
01:04direction. The car then sped off. The injured persons were taken to the
01:10Roxborough Hospital before being transferred to the Scarborough General
01:14Hospital. They are said to be a 29-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman
01:19of Camperton Road, Charlottesville, a 20-year-old woman of Mason Hall, a 35-year-old
01:25woman of Kilgourn Bay Road and two men from Speyside. Elizabeth Williams, TV6 News.
