For a second week. a shooting incident in Scarborough Tobago. The victim now in a serious condition at hospital. And a suspect in police custody.

00:00One man is in police custody following a shooting incident in Scarborough, Tobago.
00:05According to police reports, around 10pm on Friday, Ezra Sylvester was in a white Nissan Tida,
00:12which stopped in the vicinity of the intersection of Gardenside Street and Dow Spring Road, Scarborough,
00:18when a loud explosion was heard.
00:20Officers from the Divisional Task Force, who were in their private and unmarked police vehicles,
00:27said they saw the vehicle fleeing the scene.
00:30A report was later received that Ezra Sylvester had sustained gunshot wounds and was in a serious condition,
00:37undergoing treatment at the Scarborough General Hospital.
00:41Officers from the Scarborough CID and the Tobago Divisional Task Force responded and are investigating.
