17 year-old Hakeem Anderson of Golden Lane Tobago, a former student of Mason Hall Secondary, is one of two shot dead by police, at an apartment at Roy's Island Guest House, located in Sou Sou Lands Tobago, the other has been identified as Razeen Quashie also of Golden Lane.

The two were wanted in connection with a number of gun crimes in Tobago and Officers acted on a tip off and went to Roy's Island Guest House on Monday.

00:00Police reports state that at around 6 p.m. on Monday, a party of police officers
00:06including members of the intelligence team and Tobago Divisional CID based at
00:13the Chauvin Road Police Station went to Roy's Island Guesthouse at Susulance,
00:19Tobago in search of armed men wanted in connection with several shootings on
00:25the island. The officers said when they announced their presence Hakeem Anderson
00:30and Razine Kwashi pointed guns at them and in keeping with the TTPS's use of
00:37force policy, the police opened a fire on them. The officers said the injured men
00:43were taken to the Scarborough General Hospital where both were declared dead
00:48on arrival by the attending doctors. Two guns were retrieved at the scene which
00:54was visited by the top cops in Tobago. Investigations are continuing.
