At least 21 GUNS have been seized by police for the year in Tobago. This from Senior Superintendent Earl Elie who confirmed that one glock pistol was seized on Friday. Elizabeth Williams has been following this development and has this report.

00:00Tobago Police State, at around 2.30 p.m. on Friday, officers of the Guard and
00:05Emergency Branch and Interagency Task Force proceeded to the Charlottesville
00:11Police District acting on information that there was a man armed with a gun at
00:16Pirates Bay Road. But when the officers arrived, they saw nothing. However,
00:21inquiries led them to a bushy area along the roadway where they found one black
00:26Glock 19 pistol together with one magazine and ammunition. They seized the
00:32firearm and ammunition but no one was arrested. Earlier that day, at around 12
00:3720 p.m., the officers proceeded to Argyle Main Road where they conducted a search
00:43of an area in the vicinity of Pablo's Grocery where they found a quantity of
00:48marijuana which amounted to 227 grams in the vicinity of a garbage bin. No one was
00:55arrested. However, the marijuana was seized by police.
