00:01:09 What you can see from this image is a man lying in a pool of blood
00:01:13 in his living room.
00:01:15 He was shot dead a short while ago as two bandits
00:01:18 tried to rob him and his family.
00:01:21 What you can't hear is his wife crying inconsolably.
00:01:25 What you don't know is that his four-year-old daughter is standing
00:01:29 looking at her father, confused, begging him to wake up.
00:01:33 Can you imagine what this wife and child are going through
00:01:36 and what they will have to go through?
00:01:37 They try to process what has happened.
00:01:40 How can we begin to help?
00:01:42 We can start right here at the Victim and Witness Support
00:01:45 Unit.
00:01:46 From investigation to counseling,
00:01:48 to helping families find justice,
00:01:51 to helping families find peace, this unit
00:01:55 gives victims and witnesses hope to cope.
00:01:59 We are the Victim and Witness Support Unit,
00:02:01 bridging the service gap between the victims, witnesses,
00:02:05 and the police.
00:02:05 [MUSIC PLAYING]
00:02:09 And we are here.
00:02:25 And we hope that you're here with us.
00:02:27 It's Thursday, a very special good afternoon
00:02:29 in Trinidad and Tobago.
00:02:30 I'm Marlon Hopkinson, and welcome to another program
00:02:32 of Beyond the Tape on TV6.
00:02:33 With me is the senior superintendent of the IATF,
00:02:36 that gentleman there, Roger D. Alexander.
00:02:39 Mia.
00:02:41 I don't know how good an afternoon it is,
00:02:43 because we do have some very, very sad news for you
00:02:46 at the outset.
00:02:47 Let's say condolences to the officer who
00:02:52 was shot and eventually died after a robbery in Central
00:02:58 today.
00:03:00 Yeah, we do have some footage for you,
00:03:02 and we are going to blur the footage out
00:03:04 of respect to the relatives of the victim.
00:03:07 All right?
00:03:08 So let's get right into it.
00:03:09 Right.
00:03:14 Good afternoon, TV.
00:03:18 Now, a lot of conversation taking place
00:03:23 in the public domain with respect to this.
00:03:27 And again, we often wait until something happens,
00:03:31 then to make statements about what we should,
00:03:35 or what they should and should not have done.
00:03:38 The reality exists and remains that persons
00:03:42 are armed with firearms, illegal firearms, who should not
00:03:47 be in possession of them.
00:03:50 Persons continue to arm themselves
00:03:52 with weapons of war.
00:03:54 Check your pulse.
00:03:57 Check your pulse.
00:03:58 [INAUDIBLE]
00:04:06 Security officers and police officers
00:04:11 posted on National Security needs
00:04:16 to also be in possession of firearms, legal firearms.
00:04:22 We ask persons that they equip their staff to such an extent
00:04:27 to provide them with some level of protection.
00:04:32 It is difficult to watch this, to see
00:04:35 a man who just left his home to do an honest day work.
00:04:40 But it came down to this.
00:04:48 You understand that they went to replenish the ATM
00:04:51 machine in the Kunupia area.
00:04:55 [INAUDIBLE]
00:04:57 And they were ambushed by eight persons.
00:05:00 How many?
00:05:01 Eight.
00:05:02 You understand.
00:05:04 Eight persons.
00:05:05 Persons armed with firearms.
00:05:10 The intention was to take the money back.
00:05:17 In the process, they would have shot this officer.
00:05:25 Officer--
00:05:27 Let me get the name for you.
00:05:28 He has been identified as estate constable Haisley Augustine.
00:05:39 Haisley Augustine, attached to the telecom securities service.
00:05:45 Some months ago, we brought this to members
00:05:54 of the public attention that there are persons planning.
00:05:57 And I told the security network on this program
00:06:02 that information was that persons are planning
00:06:07 to rob the cash in transit van.
00:06:11 And I said that openly on this program.
00:06:13 I even said the reason behind it.
00:06:15 Persons are trying to accumulate bail money
00:06:22 for those on the inside.
00:06:23 Now, the question must be asked, what can we do?
00:06:31 The security network needs to step up their resources.
00:06:35 Additional manpower will need be.
00:06:37 And treat with this situation.
00:06:41 Now, what I have seen--
00:06:43 and this has nothing to do with this particular security firm.
00:06:47 What I realized happening is this.
00:06:48 Whenever they go to these ATM machines,
00:06:53 or the business place, or the bank--
00:06:54 Marlon Hopkinson.
00:07:00 There are still persons moving to and fro.
00:07:03 Sometimes I found myself a time getting
00:07:05 between the officer and the other officer by the van.
00:07:09 And then I realized, hey, so I pulled back.
00:07:13 One of the things they can do--
00:07:16 they might have no choice.
00:07:19 But to stop the flow of pedestrian traffic
00:07:21 in the vicinity of the ATM machine
00:07:24 until they complete the mission.
00:07:28 They can position themselves using the van
00:07:31 to provide some cover for them.
00:07:34 They can also-- well, the time probably
00:07:40 has come for them to involve law enforcement to give them
00:07:45 that level of support.
00:07:48 That is available to them.
00:07:50 That is available to them.
00:07:51 So there are a number of things we can do.
00:07:55 It's very sad to look at this.
00:07:57 We understand that this guy is from the Dabadi area, isn't it?
00:08:00 And again, condolences go out to his family.
00:08:04 Every time we see this thing, law enforcement
00:08:06 feels a certain level of responsibility.
00:08:09 Because we understand that it's our job
00:08:11 to protect and serve the nation and to get rid
00:08:13 of these illegal firearms that persons are in possession of.
00:08:16 We have been talking about the contribution made
00:08:22 by the citizen that endorse the criminal behavior.
00:08:31 Some persons are confused when I describe it.
00:08:33 Some persons are not.
00:08:37 But the support by the criminal element--
00:08:40 and I cannot say it's no support that you are unaware of.
00:08:45 Because you are aware that you are
00:08:46 supporting the criminal element.
00:08:51 The van that was used in this murder
00:08:58 was abandoned in the Central Division.
00:09:00 Officers have information.
00:09:05 And I'm hoping that they will move to that information
00:09:09 as soon as possible to bring the perpetrators to justice.
00:09:12 But let me say this at the same time.
00:09:19 You want us to share some blame this evening?
00:09:22 If we are talking blame this evening,
00:09:25 I don't normally say this on this program
00:09:27 and offer blame, you know, Mr. Hopkins.
00:09:29 But the time has come for me to bring the real to members
00:09:31 of the public and show you why.
00:09:33 You want to know why that officer died today?
00:09:36 You want to know why the vehicle was not intercepted today?
00:09:39 This is one of the reasons.
00:09:45 So don't attack law enforcement and say
00:09:47 they are not doing anything.
00:09:48 Ask the questions to those persons like this.
00:09:50 Listen to this.
00:09:53 Runners, the time is now 12 minutes past 1.
00:09:59 Roadblock heading to Porter, Spain.
00:10:02 After you pass the beat them, before you take the flyover,
00:10:09 by MP, big roadblock.
00:10:11 It's creeping everything.
00:10:12 Watch out.
00:10:13 Heavy roadblock by Hamilton.
00:10:15 Heavy.
00:10:17 You want to know why the vehicles continue
00:10:20 to escape law enforcement and why the criminal element
00:10:23 continue to escape from law enforcement?
00:10:25 It's not that the police are not doing their job.
00:10:27 It's that persons are contributing to the escape.
00:10:31 Play back the first one for me, Jackie.
00:10:34 Just imagine the vehicle probably
00:10:36 would have left Central and on their way back to someplace.
00:10:39 Let's say the vehicle was going Maraval.
00:10:43 Or on the beat them.
00:10:46 Mm-hmm.
00:10:49 Take a good listen to that vehicle.
00:10:51 Don't just come up with all different types.
00:10:54 Listen what is being said.
00:10:57 I hope you know who is saying it because we will.
00:11:02 Probably we'll call him live on this program
00:11:04 and tell him, oh, what a idiot he is.
00:11:09 However, until such time, listen to this again.
00:11:13 Just imagine something happened in the Central area.
00:11:16 Law enforcement may have assembled
00:11:18 a team for the purpose of blocking certain pathways
00:11:21 to avoid persons escaping.
00:11:23 So persons could be detained.
00:11:24 And then you hear this.
00:11:28 Runners, the time is now 12 minutes past 1.
00:11:35 Roadblock heading to Port of Spain
00:11:37 after you pass the beat them.
00:11:40 Before you take the flyover by MP, big roadblock.
00:11:46 They're scraping everything.
00:11:48 Watch out.
00:11:49 Just imagine that.
00:11:50 They're scraping everything.
00:11:52 For those who don't understand, they're scraping everything.
00:11:54 They have gone so far now that they're saying that, hey,
00:12:00 the entertainers are setting up in certain areas.
00:12:03 They're about to play music and for persons to dance.
00:12:07 And all of that.
00:12:09 So when you see these things happen,
00:12:10 there are persons among us who intentions differ.
00:12:21 Persons among us who's supposed to be law-abiding citizens.
00:12:26 Alexander, are you doing this to law-abiding citizens?
00:12:28 You're not law-abiding citizens.
00:12:29 You're no different than the man that was shot
00:12:31 by the security guard today.
00:12:33 If I was on television, I'd tell you what I think.
00:12:35 But I can't.
00:12:37 In fairness to TV.
00:12:39 Not for me, you know.
00:12:40 In fairness to TV, I'd tell you what
00:12:41 I think about your statements.
00:12:43 Because all I'm seeing is a bunch of foolish statement
00:12:46 that you're making, that you're assisting the criminal elements
00:12:48 to escape, to shoot persons.
00:12:51 I'm hoping that one of these days, when they attack somebody
00:12:58 close to you, I want you to come on your social media
00:13:01 platform and say it quickly.
00:13:04 Men moving here, they have roadblock here,
00:13:07 roadblock there, roadblock everywhere, to help them escape.
00:13:11 It's on you.
00:13:13 Let's go.
00:13:14 We have another video for you.
00:13:15 This happened to officers in the 7th Division
00:13:18 during the execution of their duties.
00:13:20 Yeah.
00:13:22 I only seen running left and running right.
00:13:24 What's going on?
00:13:25 I seen Jackie, and then I seen Jackie, then I seen Jackie,
00:13:27 then I seen Jackie.
00:13:27 And he's supposed to know he can't just take him in.
00:13:29 He's not here by himself.
00:13:30 We need to know.
00:13:31 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:13:32 Excuse me, sir.
00:13:33 Excuse me.
00:13:35 Exactly you.
00:13:35 Again, everybody face here.
00:13:37 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:13:39 Are you fed up with this, or no?
00:13:41 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:13:42 Are you fed up with this kind of behavior?
00:13:44 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:13:45 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:13:47 Do not touch me.
00:13:48 Don't touch me.
00:13:49 Thank you.
00:13:50 I am fed up with this behavior.
00:13:52 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:13:56 I am fed up with this behavior.
00:13:58 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:14:05 Law enforcement is fed up with this behavior.
00:14:08 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:14:13 How long you everything?
00:14:15 What's this?
00:14:15 You're taking them to excuse?
00:14:18 Excuse?
00:14:19 Maribel, a politician?
00:14:21 I can have a PC number or something?
00:14:23 You know, it took me a while, and I've
00:14:25 been on the city, and while I could
00:14:26 extend that courtesy to you.
00:14:29 Your initial contact with me, I wasn't going to talk to you
00:14:31 anymore, you know?
00:14:32 And let's just be honest.
00:14:33 If you come decent to me, I will treat you
00:14:36 along a particular line.
00:14:37 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:14:40 You understand what I'm saying?
00:14:41 But you want us to tell you this?
00:14:43 We held an adult, an adult person.
00:14:46 And that adult person is going normal, you know?
00:14:50 He's not resisting anything at all, at all.
00:14:52 But this blah, blah mouth one, seems to me,
00:14:55 that's all she's doing.
00:14:56 Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:14:57 Always making noise.
00:14:58 You know, law enforcement is fed up with that kind of behavior.
00:15:02 Say this blah, blah mouth one.
00:15:04 Oh, OK.
00:15:06 Anyway, you see, Marlon Hopkinson,
00:15:09 and they continue to get closer and closer, closer and closer.
00:15:12 One of these days, and we saw it happening
00:15:14 over some years ago, you know?
00:15:16 One of these days, something is going to happen.
00:15:20 A gunshot will ring out there, and somebody
00:15:23 is going to fall to the ground.
00:15:24 And then you all will start to stand by and move away
00:15:26 from what is taking place in terms
00:15:28 of that area of operation.
00:15:31 You can stay from a distance, and you can put your camera
00:15:33 or what, you can turn your camera any side you want to.
00:15:36 Give the police officer space to operate.
00:15:41 Instead of you standing there yap, yap, down the place
00:15:43 as usual, you know, kind of yourself, take some distance.
00:15:47 If you go to the officer, officer, I'm his cousin.
00:15:50 I just wanted to know, where are you taking him?
00:15:53 You're taking him to the Marabella police station, ma'am.
00:15:55 And you step back.
00:15:56 Yeah?
00:15:58 [INAUDIBLE]
00:15:58 Somebody's got a button.
00:16:03 Where are you, Mr. Jackie?
00:16:06 All right.
00:16:07 We have a few minutes.
00:16:10 Five men were arrested and two firearms
00:16:13 and a quantity of ammunition seized by officers
00:16:16 during ongoing Operation Blue Line exercises being conducted
00:16:19 in the Western Division.
00:16:22 In the latest exercise, task force officers
00:16:24 proceeded to the Maraval district between 5 AM and 8 AM
00:16:28 today as they conducted investigations
00:16:30 into a report of robbery with violence.
00:16:33 During the exercise, officers executed a search warrant
00:16:36 at the home of a 33-year-old suspect.
00:16:38 The search resulted in officers finding one revolver loaded
00:16:40 with eight rounds of ammunition.
00:16:42 Two other male suspects, ages 22 and 25, both of Maraval,
00:16:47 were also arrested in connection with the report
00:16:49 of robbery with violence.
00:16:51 Meanwhile, another exercise conducted between 2 PM and 6
00:16:54 PM yesterday resulted in the arrest of two male suspects,
00:16:58 ages 29 and 33, both of Caranage.
00:17:02 They were found to be in possession of an AR-15 rifle
00:17:05 loaded with a drum magazine containing
00:17:09 40 rounds of ammunition.
00:17:13 All right.
00:17:14 So just to remind persons of our numbers,
00:17:15 you're calling us on 623-1711.
00:17:18 The extensions are 1992, 1993, 1996, and 1997.
00:17:24 All right, we are going to a very short break.
00:17:26 Remember, our program ends at around 543 today.
00:17:35 All right, so we just have a limited time.
00:17:36 And then you are going to have the news right after.
00:17:39 And then you have CPL action a little later.

00:19:33 and lose your license permanently.
00:19:36 No?
00:19:37 Then don't drink and drive.
00:19:41 A message from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.
00:19:44 [MUSIC PLAYING]
00:19:47 Back we're going to the Southern Division.
00:19:55 Yeah, officers of the Southern Division Task Force,

00:22:03 by the Southern Division Task Force.
00:22:05 Today on display, we have some of the firearms
00:22:07 that we still have at our base.
00:22:10 We put things in a resting place before the club
00:22:13 for firearms offenses.
00:22:15 Today, we want to show you one of the firearms
00:22:18 that we recently discovered that they have, like a toy.
00:22:22 It's a machine pistol.
00:22:24 However, as you can tell the color and the make of attempts
00:22:28 by persons, they lured the police.
00:22:30 But it's the same are used as props
00:22:32 for filming of music videos and so on and so forth.
00:22:35 This is an actual firearm with working parts and components
00:22:39 of a firearm.
00:22:42 Nine millimeter buffer.
00:22:43 We have a number of revolvers that we have also got this year.
00:22:51 Thus far, we have some 45 caliber weapons.
00:22:56 Aside from .38 caliber, we have 22 pistols, 40 caliber blocks,
00:23:05 40 caliber pistols, other special made pistols,
00:23:11 as you can see.
00:23:13 All right, so in light of all the firearms
00:23:15 that my colleague would have shown there, as he said,
00:23:18 I'd like to reiterate and ask members of the public
00:23:21 to continue giving us information,
00:23:24 because we the police service, we work with information.
00:23:26 One short little thing I would like to say is we are police,
00:23:30 but the people really and truly are the police,
00:23:32 and the police are the people.
00:23:34 So having said that, I would like
00:23:35 to thank them for the information that
00:23:37 would have come thus far.
00:23:39 I encourage them to continue coming forward and providing us
00:23:42 with information so that we can make
00:23:43 sure that we can go to a safer place.
00:23:44 Further thereof, the Southern Division Task Force
00:23:48 also would have arrested and charged
00:23:51 in excess of 400 persons thus far for the year 2023.
00:23:58 There's several of those arrests in relation
00:24:00 to illegal firearms ammunition being removed from the street
00:24:04 due to the information we have received
00:24:06 from members of the public.
00:24:08 Any member of the public who wish
00:24:11 to contact any officer of the Southern Division Task Force,
00:24:15 feel free to contact us via 652-3030.
00:24:21 We are ready and willing to respond to any information
00:24:24 that you have provided to us.
00:24:26 I want to thank you again and urge you to keep
00:24:29 bringing the information forward.
00:24:31 Thanks again.
00:24:32 Thank you.
00:24:35 Thank you.
00:24:37 [MUSIC PLAYING]
00:24:41 [INAUDIBLE]
00:24:55 Yep.
00:24:56 That officer has said that over in excess of 400 persons
00:25:04 have been arrested in the Southern Division
00:25:07 in connection with firearm-related matters.
00:25:10 That's a lot.
00:25:11 400 people.
00:25:14 That's a lot of people.
00:25:16 What's happening in South?
00:25:17 What's happening everywhere?
00:25:20 Up next might be some other station district.
00:25:22 Probably Northern Division will call on their statistics
00:25:26 among to the same.
00:25:27 So that's why today I was on a program
00:25:29 and I said, a man said, you know what the police doing?
00:25:32 What the police doing?
00:25:34 The police is doing everything that it can do at this time.
00:25:37 Because it's because of us.
00:25:38 400 persons didn't decide to commit offenses
00:25:42 and walk in the station and write their own information
00:25:45 and then went to court on their own.
00:25:46 They jump in the police.
00:25:47 We could drove the police.
00:25:49 We could go to court and the magistrate say, well,
00:25:53 your man didn't cross the street.
00:25:55 That did not happen.
00:25:56 It's because of the effort of law enforcement.
00:25:58 And the effort of law enforcement
00:25:59 came as a result of two.
00:26:02 One thing, the initiative by the Commission of Police,
00:26:04 Miss Ola Christopher, and the executive of the Chantibago
00:26:07 Police Service to rid firearms of the nation streets
00:26:10 and members of the public's effort in all of this.
00:26:15 - Let's remind you all of our numbers.
00:26:17 623-1711.
00:26:19 The extensions are 1992, 1993, 1996, and 1997.
00:26:23 You don't have a lot of time to call us today.
00:26:26 So if you wish to call us now, you can call us now.
00:26:28 The lines are free.
00:26:30 - Tunapuna, Tunapuna alleged gang leader,
00:26:33 Satan was released from the prison on $500,000
00:26:37 bail on Wednesday.
00:26:38 Satan, whose real name is Clayton Yewood,
00:26:43 was released after a high court judge approved an individual
00:26:46 to sign as his surety for the bail.
00:26:51 The judge attached several conditions to Satan's bail,
00:26:55 two of them being he's on a 6 PM to 6 AM curfew
00:27:00 and must wear an ankle bracelet.
00:27:03 - Good.
00:27:04 - Let's take a call.
00:27:05 Good afternoon, caller.
00:27:07 - Hey, good afternoon, Marlon.
00:27:09 - Yes, sir.
00:27:11 - Yeah, two quick questions to the senior.
00:27:13 The first one, I'm looking here and the senior super saying,
00:27:18 you know, he played two calls there where it is,
00:27:22 so somebody is saying that, you know,
00:27:25 they have roadblocks X, Y, and Z, right?
00:27:28 I want to ask you, superintendent,
00:27:31 when a robbery is taking place,
00:27:34 like how they shot the security guard, right?
00:27:36 People must have been calling to the rapid response, right?
00:27:40 What is happening from command center
00:27:43 with regards to that is the police stationary,
00:27:46 so I'm not buying that call where you're saying,
00:27:48 you know, they're saying roadblock, roadblock.
00:27:50 You have the description on the vehicle,
00:27:52 you're in hot pursuit or you're pursuing
00:27:54 somehow or the other, you're getting intel from people
00:27:57 or command center feeding intel via a camera system.
00:28:01 What is going on?
00:28:02 So I'm not buying that excuse
00:28:04 where they're giving their intel at the same time.
00:28:08 You're supposed to have more or better intel than them
00:28:11 or better machinery or better camera systems
00:28:15 that's hopefully working to assist the TTPS,
00:28:18 you know, in conducting, you know,
00:28:21 either apprehending them in hot pursuit or blazing them
00:28:24 or, you know, letting them drop down on the ground
00:28:26 or taking the chair.
00:28:27 - Second question.
00:28:28 - You know, that's not possible.
00:28:29 - All right, call out.
00:28:30 - Second question, second question.
00:28:33 - The second one is similar to what happened
00:28:36 to the security guard here.
00:28:37 The one who was gunned down in the Philippines,
00:28:43 the DBL lady, right?
00:28:45 Similarly, I am positive calls would have been
00:28:48 sent to rapid response and the center.
00:28:52 Why it is we not having police, you know,
00:28:54 on the ground in hot pursuit apprehending them
00:28:59 or, you know, ending their lives in hot pursuit
00:29:02 or something like that.
00:29:03 - Caller, let me embrace you at this time
00:29:06 and I understand, I appreciate the call.
00:29:08 - All right, caller, thank you very much.
00:29:08 - Let us face the reality of things, right?
00:29:11 Today I looked at, I have a,
00:29:14 I had a wireless set in my possession
00:29:16 and I was monitoring what was taking place at the time.
00:29:19 I looked at the video, I checked the timing
00:29:22 and all of that.
00:29:23 And caller, you know some of the most important things
00:29:25 to the members of the public?
00:29:26 Alive here, boy, alive here, boy.
00:29:30 Look at security guard here on the ground.
00:29:32 Like he bleeding.
00:29:35 And yeah, it looked like they tried to rob the van.
00:29:37 I think they robbed the van and he gave a comment.
00:29:41 So caller, you see yourself, it's all good.
00:29:43 And I said sometimes we talk things good enough
00:29:44 for television.
00:29:45 - Alexander. - But the reality,
00:29:46 wait, wait, let me finish.
00:29:47 Let me finish.
00:29:48 - Don't mama guy me, 'cause I'm coming.
00:29:49 - No, no, no, the reality remains this.
00:29:52 If you call the police command center
00:29:55 and you give information, the police command center
00:29:57 will dispatch that information to the boots on the ground.
00:30:00 Yeah, the quicker we get that information,
00:30:02 we have proved it here time and time again.
00:30:04 The quicker we get that information,
00:30:05 the quicker would be the response.
00:30:07 You see, we must not believe that when something happens
00:30:11 here, the police supposed to be here like this car.
00:30:14 And if something happens here,
00:30:15 the police should have known and be here.
00:30:16 It don't work like that, sir.
00:30:18 And I'm hearing about the intelligence
00:30:19 that you're speaking and all of that.
00:30:21 It sounds good.
00:30:22 But in reality, in reality,
00:30:24 we are not getting the information as quickly
00:30:27 coming to law enforcement as we supposed to.
00:30:30 Go ahead.
00:30:31 - The gentleman has some level of truth in what he is saying.
00:30:38 - What is the truth?
00:30:41 I hear him and I understand what he says.
00:30:43 - Because as I have said, if it is, you all come every day,
00:30:48 you all get all your truth horse like mine, right?
00:30:52 And talking about, if you see something, say something.
00:30:57 And I agree with you all 1 million percent,
00:31:02 but I am just saying,
00:31:04 if some members of the public do not want to take
00:31:08 that approach, then there has to be another approach.
00:31:12 The other approach has to be technology.
00:31:14 It has to be intelligence.
00:31:16 You all have intelligence units.
00:31:18 What are they doing?
00:31:19 - Mr. Hopkinson, now some crimes
00:31:24 are in fact intelligence driven.
00:31:26 You and I plan a thing and we call in Jackie
00:31:30 and we call us and we say,
00:31:31 tomorrow we're going to do so, so, so.
00:31:33 Yeah.
00:31:34 We might have discussions among ourselves
00:31:35 with other persons, blah.
00:31:37 What about the opportunist crime?
00:31:38 What about if you're driving around in a vehicle
00:31:41 and you're armed and ready for any eventuality?
00:31:45 And we seize the opportunity.
00:31:46 Tell me how intelligence would come there.
00:31:48 - You see, you see, you cannot be blowing coal
00:31:52 and blowing hot and blowing hot and blowing coal.
00:31:55 You have to be consistent.
00:31:57 You are the same person who has been standing here
00:32:01 over the past few weeks and saying,
00:32:03 if you control the streets, you control crime.
00:32:05 You are the person who has been there talking
00:32:08 about a blanket across Trinidad and Tobago.
00:32:11 - That is why I told you.
00:32:12 - Now you're coming today,
00:32:13 you're coming today sounding mopey, mopey, mopey.
00:32:16 - No, no, no, I don't know mopey.
00:32:17 - Well, boy, I don't know mopey.
00:32:18 - Boy.
00:32:19 - No, no, no.
00:32:20 That is why after the incident, I played the voice note.
00:32:25 Because then you heard law enforcement officers
00:32:28 at particular locations keeping roadblock.
00:32:31 And he didn't, if he had passed in the East
00:32:33 or he had passed in Central down to Karone side,
00:32:37 it would have been the same thing.
00:32:38 So what I'm saying to you is this, Ms. Hopkinson.
00:32:40 If the police is on the ground,
00:32:42 you all want the police to work the magic.
00:32:44 The magic which would be, hey, hold on.
00:32:46 Something's going to happen over there.
00:32:48 It don't work like that, Mr. Hopkinson.
00:32:51 That's the reality.
00:32:52 It don't work like that.
00:32:53 Because many a times, if persons knew
00:32:55 that something was going to happen to them,
00:32:57 they would not have gone into the nation streets.
00:32:59 Some persons might not even stay home.
00:33:02 Not so, Ms. Hopkinson?
00:33:03 - All I will do is use your same argument on you.
00:33:07 - And I will say that all the time.
00:33:09 We control the streets, we control crime.
00:33:11 - Beautiful.
00:33:11 - But for us to control streets.
00:33:13 - You're contradicting yourself.
00:33:14 - No, no, no.
00:33:14 We control the streets.
00:33:16 But you are calling and saying where the police are
00:33:18 and where the police is at any particular time.
00:33:20 Tell me how that will assist in my control.
00:33:22 - If they're on the street,
00:33:23 they would see what is happening.
00:33:25 - Mr. Hopkinson, so you're driving a getaway car
00:33:28 and you get a voice note like that
00:33:29 and you're coming down the highway.
00:33:30 Where you looking to hang off?
00:33:32 - I'm not talking about no voice note.
00:33:33 - Oh, you don't want to deal with the voice note?
00:33:34 - The information that would have been passed to you.
00:33:35 - You don't want to deal with the voice note?
00:33:37 - Right?
00:33:38 - Deal with the voice note?
00:33:39 - Your explanation?
00:33:40 - Deal with the voice note.
00:33:41 - Where you go time break?
00:33:42 (laughing)
00:33:44 (upbeat music)
00:33:47 (upbeat music)
00:33:51 - Colgate Total gives you a superior antibacterial protection

00:33:56 It helps stop problems before they start.
00:33:58 So you're dentist ready.
00:33:59 - Mr. Walker.
00:34:00 - Oh, am I early?
00:34:02 - Be dentist ready with Colgate Total.

00:34:49 Experience cricket played louder.
00:34:51 (upbeat music)
00:34:55 - All right.
00:35:01 So the lines are free.
00:35:02 We are expecting a few more calls from you.
00:35:04 Remember you're calling us in 623-1711.
00:35:07 - Let us not move away from this point that you're making.
00:35:09 You know, Mr. Treason.
00:35:10 Don't feel like get away.
00:35:12 Don't feel like get away.
00:35:13 Let me ask you this.
00:35:15 If you're late for work on any morning.
00:35:20 - I do be late.
00:35:20 - Well, I just said, I just said.
00:35:21 If you're late for work on any morning, tell me where.
00:35:24 Tell me what way you'll pass.
00:35:26 If you know it have a roadblock there, you'll pass there?
00:35:28 - I do be late.
00:35:29 Wrong person.
00:35:29 (laughing)
00:35:30 I'll tell you where to find that person.
00:35:31 Let's take a call.
00:35:32 - Good afternoon sir.
00:35:33 Let's try that too.
00:35:34 I don't let no coward do that.
00:35:36 Go ahead.
00:35:37 - Yes, good afternoon.
00:35:38 - Hello?
00:35:40 - Yes.
00:35:41 - I'm a custom caller.
00:35:43 Thank you very much.
00:35:45 - I have a contribution.
00:35:48 - Go ahead.
00:35:51 - I find that the government should invest
00:35:53 in some helicopters.
00:35:55 Have them in special areas.
00:35:57 So when it happens,
00:35:58 it just dial in between helicopters and up in the air.
00:36:00 And they might see all the little wrong names
00:36:03 and they might see what's really going on in the area.
00:36:04 They will see the vehicle running or whatever, whatever.
00:36:07 But in America, that's what it does.
00:36:09 - Caller, I hear you.
00:36:11 And we appreciate that.
00:36:13 And we would like that type of equipment come to us.
00:36:15 But let me tell you what's great as rich.
00:36:17 Drone technology has changed again.
00:36:19 No longer do we have persons,
00:36:21 we don't have anybody manning those drones
00:36:23 in terms of sitting in it and directly driving it.
00:36:25 Or we have drones that could monitor
00:36:27 and go very long distance without concern.
00:36:31 So if you're talking that,
00:36:32 because it's very expensive to have a copter in the air,
00:36:36 I can tell you that.
00:36:37 - Alexander, Alexander, with the greatest of respect,
00:36:40 that shouldn't be your concern.
00:36:41 - No, no, no, no.
00:36:42 - What I'm saying is this.
00:36:43 - Helicopter, helicopter, expensive.
00:36:45 - And then when, wait, wait, wait.
00:36:47 And then when something happens to it,
00:36:49 the public will call on us and say,
00:36:50 "Well, where's the helicopter?"
00:36:51 It's done.
00:36:52 Mr. Afghan, if you're investing,
00:36:54 let us invest in some drones that could take places,
00:36:56 could be from here and go to Tokyo and come back.
00:37:00 And we are seeing everything.
00:37:01 - Let's take a call, please.
00:37:03 Good afternoon, caller.
00:37:05 - You don't know what it is, 1946, man.
00:37:06 - Good afternoon, Mala, good afternoon.
00:37:08 - Deal with the officer, deal with his backward thinking.
00:37:11 Deal with him.
00:37:12 - It is modern times.
00:37:13 - Backward.
00:37:14 - Men sending drones.
00:37:15 - Hear what he's telling people.
00:37:15 "Oh, it's expensive to have helicopter."
00:37:18 Hear, hear he.
00:37:19 You're spending money on it?
00:37:21 Go ahead.
00:37:22 - Yes, sir.
00:37:23 Modern technology.
00:37:24 Caller, you see, you see, you see.
00:37:25 I just can't understand him.
00:37:26 Person sending drones down the road and come back.
00:37:29 But you want the helicopter, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom,
00:37:31 holy, holy.
00:37:32 And then the guy finish halfway.
00:37:33 And then the guy get the helicopter.
00:37:34 - Go ahead, sir.
00:37:35 Go ahead.
00:37:36 Deal with him for a minute.
00:37:37 - Mala, good afternoon.
00:37:38 I'm the officer.
00:37:39 I have two things.
00:37:40 One, how is it that persons,
00:37:42 I mean, the length of time the video was showing,
00:37:44 nobody sought to take up the gentleman
00:37:46 on time to the hospital.
00:37:47 I just want them, because I'm thinking,
00:37:49 the accident and emergency should go on
00:37:51 as it's not too far from Knopiera.
00:37:53 And secondly, Malone saw some activities
00:37:57 taking place in Port of Spain.
00:37:59 Can he call the Marabella police station
00:38:02 in terms of how the gentleman give the information
00:38:05 that they would respond?
00:38:06 How would that, how does that work?
00:38:09 - So an incident happened in Port of Spain
00:38:11 and I call Marabella?
00:38:13 - Yes, so instead of calling the police,
00:38:15 Port of Spain police,
00:38:17 you know, just as for the Marabella officer,
00:38:19 give her the number.
00:38:21 You know, can Malone call the Marabella station
00:38:24 so that they could deal with it
00:38:25 if he's not confident with the police,
00:38:27 and the officers in his division?
00:38:29 - Can't get you to worry about the in tongue.
00:38:31 You're not saying in tongue.
00:38:33 Go ahead.
00:38:34 - Call her.
00:38:35 I hear you.
00:38:36 But again, you know, we are all police officers.
00:38:38 We are citizens of the good nation
00:38:41 and we are looking to go forward in a positive way.
00:38:43 So if you were having issues before,
00:38:45 I know that you can find someone.
00:38:47 And I tell you, the best thing to do
00:38:48 is to seek after the senior police officers
00:38:51 in every division, every section, every branch.
00:38:54 All right?
00:38:55 - That should not be, Alexander.
00:38:56 That should not be.
00:38:57 - It should not be.
00:38:58 - That should not be.
00:38:59 - But if it is, it is.
00:39:00 - That should be the last resort.
00:39:01 - Malone, I'm concerned.
00:39:02 You lead by example.
00:39:03 - That should be the last resort, Alexander.
00:39:06 Why is it?
00:39:07 - I don't understand what you're saying, you know.
00:39:09 But that should be the last resort.
00:39:11 The senior sup should be the last resort.
00:39:14 - I think at times he should be the first.
00:39:16 - I think what you are doing
00:39:18 is that you are trying to defend the delinquency
00:39:23 of officers.
00:39:25 - No, no, no, no, no, no.
00:39:26 You see, if it goes through the senior superintendent,
00:39:28 then the superintendent can choose someone.
00:39:31 So if there's any problems with the information,
00:39:34 then I know who to point my finger at
00:39:35 and I know how to deal with that individual.
00:39:38 You get me?
00:39:39 - All right, we have part two of the feature with-
00:39:41 - You mustn't come around with them things
00:39:42 in the South Kentucy.
00:39:43 You don't know how you're-
00:39:44 - You don't get my shot.
00:39:45 - All right, okay.
00:39:45 (laughing)
00:39:46 - Let's take in the feature.
00:39:47 - Good evening.
00:39:48 (laughing)
00:39:49 - All right, well, this area is in Marmala Police District.
00:39:54 It is known for a lot of different serious related crimes
00:39:59 from time to time.
00:40:00 For instance, like robbery offenses.
00:40:06 Firearm offenses.
00:40:07 So, members of the Southern Divisional Task Force
00:40:13 along with other station districts
00:40:18 and other police patrols will patrol this area
00:40:21 on a regular basis to ensure that same is either kept down
00:40:26 or is a no-no.
00:40:30 Members of the Southern Divisional Task Force
00:40:34 and other police officers of different station units
00:40:38 have taken a serious approach in relation to reducing
00:40:45 and stamping out all crime related activities
00:40:50 in the Southern Division.
00:40:53 We patrol constantly on a 24-hour basis.
00:40:56 Right at this present time,
00:41:00 we're in an area that is known for such activities.
00:41:05 (upbeat music)
00:41:07 (speaking in foreign language)
00:41:28 - We have received information.
00:41:29 (speaking in foreign language)
00:41:33 - All right, no problem.
00:41:37 (speaking in foreign language)
00:41:41 (upbeat music)
00:41:44 (speaking in foreign language)
00:41:55 - I've identified myself as something, right?
00:41:58 So I'm gonna do it again.
00:42:00 All right?
00:42:01 (speaking in foreign language)
00:42:05 No problem.
00:42:10 (speaking in foreign language)
00:42:12 (upbeat music)
00:42:14 - Let's take a call.
00:42:23 Good afternoon, caller.
00:42:25 - Good afternoon, gentlemen, superintendent.
00:42:28 - Yes, sir.
00:42:29 - Superintendent, we have a use of force policy
00:42:34 for the police.
00:42:35 We have a use of force policy for the citizenry.
00:42:39 Don't you think it's time that we put a use of force policy
00:42:43 for the criminals?
00:42:45 - All right, I hear you.
00:42:48 I hear you.
00:42:49 - Test strokes for every time you hit a person
00:42:52 that you're wrong.
00:42:54 50 for every time you rape somebody
00:42:56 and 25 for every house break it.
00:42:58 One, three, okay.
00:43:00 And in that way, we don't have to wait
00:43:01 for anybody to decide and think of what is the adequate
00:43:05 judgment that they're gonna do.
00:43:07 You have fixed penalties for fixed time.
00:43:11 Secondly, is there any investigation
00:43:15 or are you ever going to look in direction
00:43:19 to see if there's any link between criminal elements
00:43:24 who continue to be able to acquire bail
00:43:29 and those who defend them?
00:43:32 Because if there is a consistency in that,
00:43:35 maybe there are people in the legal fraternity
00:43:39 who can be also charged with gang activities
00:43:42 under the anti-gang law.
00:43:44 Because now you are, it appears that you might be
00:43:46 part and parcel of it.
00:43:48 I mean, we have seen it in America.
00:43:50 So why not in Trinidad?
00:43:52 And you know, we were speaking recently about,
00:43:57 you know, that you arrest people on Monday
00:44:01 and on Wednesday they get out.
00:44:05 So if it is, there is an obvious problem
00:44:08 between when you arrest or when you get out.
00:44:11 Some, there's a leak and maybe you might need
00:44:15 to probably leak because this cannot continue.
00:44:20 And if these things cannot be implemented soon,
00:44:24 what I would suggest that maybe it might end up
00:44:27 being a time when it is the citizenry
00:44:29 may have to sue everybody who are in play,
00:44:34 every player involved in security,
00:44:37 from the opposition, the government,
00:44:39 the judge, the leader, the lawyers, even the police,
00:44:44 for the additional expense that citizens
00:44:47 have to be going through to make security premises
00:44:52 for murder, to fund, and cameras and everything.
00:44:55 Because we cannot be continuing to, you know,
00:44:59 mandate, extend this, the jail,
00:45:01 because this is ridiculous.
00:45:03 And if it is, nobody cannot fix the problem.
00:45:06 How about we just leave the place now and why rush?
00:45:09 Because obviously, it is not working.
00:45:12 What is happening, what I'm trying to say, sir,
00:45:14 is what is being done now is not working.
00:45:18 - All right.
00:45:19 - This is the third set of attacks on security forces.
00:45:24 And it's, no, no, no, no, no, no, it's not acceptable.
00:45:30 - All right, thank you very much.
00:45:30 We must go to a very short break.
00:45:31 The officer will respond after.
00:45:33 (upbeat music)

00:46:27 (upbeat music)
00:46:29 - All right, everybody, welcome back.
00:46:34 - Just as you mentioned what you mentioned,
00:46:36 I can package everything you say
00:46:38 and take it to my executive.
00:46:41 Probably they would be interested in what you said
00:46:44 and to go along a particular line.
00:46:45 But I want to ask this question though.
00:46:47 You talk about suing the agencies
00:46:50 responsible for your protection.
00:46:52 What about suing the criminal element
00:46:54 who would have caused you trauma,
00:46:56 undue stress and all of that?
00:46:59 How come that is never considered?
00:47:01 - Mr. Hopkinson?
00:47:04 - Talk on their behalf, go ahead.
00:47:06 - I didn't raise the concern.
00:47:08 Because if you want to sue those
00:47:11 who supposed to protect you,
00:47:12 but then their persons of liberty came,
00:47:14 breach of security, cause you trauma,
00:47:19 undue stress, inflict wounds on you,
00:47:22 punishment, if you want to call it that,
00:47:26 took possession of your items,
00:47:28 rape and rob you sometimes,
00:47:31 how come you don't put them before the court and sue them?
00:47:37 - Help me to understand Mr. Hopkinson.
00:47:39 You have no words?
00:47:42 - Alexander.
00:47:42 - I said you have no words.
00:47:44 - People are safe.
00:47:45 - Mr. Hopkinson have no words.
00:47:47 What I am hearing here.
00:47:48 No, but what do you want?
00:47:50 You want to support this Mr. Hopkinson?
00:47:52 Here is what I support.
00:47:53 (indistinct)
00:47:56 - What's that he's speaking about?
00:48:02 - Another one?
00:48:03 - You don't decide?
00:48:04 (indistinct)
00:48:07 - These persons just mentioned four.
00:48:09 Four road checks exercises in different parts
00:48:12 and this is just sometimes just in this area alone.
00:48:15 You could imagine what is happening elsewhere.
00:48:17 So it's not that the police is not on the ground.
00:48:19 The police is on the ground,
00:48:21 but your criminal element, friends, family, brothers,
00:48:24 and sometimes you,
00:48:25 you are telling persons where the officers are at this time,
00:48:30 causing the persons to divert their attention
00:48:34 and causing the persons to divert into somewhere else,
00:48:38 making good their escape.
00:48:39 You should deal with that.
00:48:40 If you can sleep with that, well, continue sleeping.
00:48:43 - Mr. Hopkinson.
00:48:44 - Alexander, let's take a call.
00:48:45 - Take a call.
00:48:46 - Caller.
00:48:47 - You have no words?
00:48:48 Why not swoon the criminal element?
00:48:50 - Caller, good afternoon.
00:48:51 - Are you afraid?
00:48:51 (laughs)
00:48:53 - Caller, good afternoon.
00:48:55 Good afternoon.
00:48:55 Sergeant Alexander.
00:48:59 I am one of the guys.
00:48:59 - See, there's hope sir.
00:49:00 - They tend to meet one now and then in the gym.
00:49:03 Finally got an opportunity to ask the question here.
00:49:06 It was mentioned that 450 arrests
00:49:11 or something like that, right?
00:49:12 - In excess of 400.
00:49:14 - Right.
00:49:15 Can we talk that at some point in time,
00:49:19 how many of these,
00:49:20 what is the percentage that ends up being convicted
00:49:23 and in what time, in what timeframe?
00:49:25 Because it sounds to me,
00:49:27 every time I look at this program,
00:49:27 like the police doing everything possible,
00:49:29 but something happening after that,
00:49:32 that is not working well for us.
00:49:34 And therefore we could talk to Alexander here every day
00:49:38 and listen and all these things,
00:49:40 but are we attacking the root cause of the issue right now?
00:49:45 Because to me,
00:49:47 you shouldn't have a good percentage
00:49:48 of those people behind bars and then off the street.
00:49:51 That's my question.
00:49:52 - All right, thank you.
00:49:53 - Excellent question.
00:49:54 But let me just share this with you.
00:49:56 The responsibility of enforcing the law
00:50:01 lies on the police officer.
00:50:03 And then we take it to another place.
00:50:05 And that other place,
00:50:06 and I can stand here and say this openly
00:50:08 because I'm part of that system.
00:50:09 - Talk to your friends at the other place.
00:50:10 - Yeah, the other place.
00:50:11 They are overwhelmed because of us.
00:50:14 - Yes.
00:50:15 - Because we are doing our job.
00:50:16 So that is why they have more than something,
00:50:18 126 matters on the day, Mr. Hopkinson.
00:50:22 So when you hear a person's talking
00:50:24 and I just want to say, listen,
00:50:27 that other place, you all treat them accordingly.
00:50:30 We are doing our jobs and we continue to do that.
00:50:34 We are protecting and serving persons with pride.
00:50:36 - Let's take another call.
00:50:38 Good afternoon.
00:50:39 No.
00:50:40 - Which one?
00:50:42 Oh, the guy who...
00:50:47 - The security officer.
00:50:48 - And I was asking the same question.
00:50:50 Why did nobody pick up this guy
00:50:52 and attempt to take him to the hospital?
00:50:56 Now, you remember, I often say,
00:50:59 if persons understand the system,
00:51:00 they will treat with the system.
00:51:02 But here is Mr. Hopkinson.
00:51:03 You know, we got more than five minutes of footage
00:51:08 from different angles, involvement that,
00:51:11 and nobody pick up the man.
00:51:12 You understand what I'm saying?
00:51:14 So that you tell me, what is more important apparently?
00:51:17 I have it live.
00:51:19 Look, he bleeding here.
00:51:22 And this is what I'm saying, Mr. Hopkinson.
00:51:24 We're so caught up in this social media.
00:51:28 - The end.
00:51:29 Good evening, caller.
00:51:31 - Caller, good afternoon.
00:51:33 - Your social media intellect.
00:51:34 - Good afternoon.
00:51:36 - Yes.
00:51:37 - Yes, sir.
00:51:38 - We need to have a firearm court for all firearm,
00:51:43 those unlicensed firearm dealers.
00:51:46 Not dealers, but people with unarmed firearm
00:51:49 without license.
00:51:51 - Illegal firearms.
00:51:53 Illegal firearms.
00:51:54 - Yeah, illegal firearms.
00:51:55 Oh gosh, it's time for that.
00:51:57 And congratulations to Madam Commissioner,
00:52:00 put back the bills that you all need back in the parliament.
00:52:03 Let us see between this month and the end of next month,
00:52:07 if it isn't passed by the opposition,
00:52:09 it's time for this thing to be stopped
00:52:11 or at least put a little dampen on it.
00:52:14 And another thing, Chief,
00:52:17 I'm watching something for quite a while now
00:52:21 with the people around the officers.
00:52:23 Look at that very carefully.
00:52:25 - Yeah.
00:52:26 - You see what's going on in Haiti?
00:52:28 Look at that very carefully.
00:52:30 We will probably something in after election in 2015.
00:52:35 And don't be fooled,
00:52:36 we are dealing with a rich set of people.
00:52:40 So don't be fooled.
00:52:41 You should not lock up these big fellas
00:52:43 and them in the judiciary.
00:52:45 And this is what's going to take place.
00:52:46 And for coming election,
00:52:48 Madam Chief, look out.
00:52:52 - All right, thank you very much, sir.
00:52:54 All right, I hear you, caller, I hear you.
00:52:56 What we gonna do?
00:52:57 What was that I hear in it?
00:52:59 I saw it.
00:53:00 Corporal Ali was here yesterday
00:53:01 and we talk about this inclusion
00:53:05 that persons are looking for
00:53:06 where you feel like you could just come in
00:53:08 on the police operation and state your case
00:53:10 because you have your rights and the rights.
00:53:12 Well, you come up in my face with that phone,
00:53:15 I'll move that phone away from my face, you know?
00:53:18 Because it's not like you're talking a violent talk.
00:53:20 But here am I trying to execute my duty
00:53:22 and you're causing a disruption to me.
00:53:25 You're obstructing me in the execution of my duties
00:53:26 by putting this phone on me.
00:53:28 So I will remove that phone and see who you are
00:53:31 and detain you if I can.
00:53:32 And if I can't detain you,
00:53:34 I go to the station and I fix up the man that I detained
00:53:37 and bet your bottom dollar,
00:53:39 as soon as you light him tonight,
00:53:42 and you bid, and you put on your cologne and think nice,
00:53:45 with perfume and you look nice and think,
00:53:47 and as you light him and say good night,
00:53:49 bang, bang, bang, police, boy blue.
00:53:52 - Yes, good evening.
00:53:53 Good afternoon, caller.
00:53:55 - Good afternoon, Mr. Hopkinson.
00:53:57 Good afternoon, Sergeant Alexander.
00:54:00 I am a first time caller.
00:54:02 - Thank you very much.
00:54:02 - I am from the Kunuke area.
00:54:04 - Yes, sir.
00:54:05 - I am having a serious problem.
00:54:06 - Go ahead.
00:54:09 - I am, I'm a physically challenged man.
00:54:16 - Yes.
00:54:17 - On the morning of the election at 4 a.m.,
00:54:19 I have a parlor, a piper from the area
00:54:23 living four houses away from me,
00:54:25 came to purchase and because I told him
00:54:27 I couldn't sell him at that time,
00:54:30 he got annoyed.
00:54:31 He cursed me, he abused me, he fell on my house,
00:54:35 he threatened me.
00:54:37 He threatened me to chop me or my wife,
00:54:40 or to planash me or my wife.
00:54:42 He take stones and he started to pelt the place.
00:54:45 I called the Kunuke police three times on that day.
00:54:49 One time while he was there,
00:54:52 and while I was talking to the police,
00:54:56 he was speaking louder because he wanted them to hear.
00:54:59 Well, I called E99, I called the Shoguners police,
00:55:04 and as a matter of fact, look, he passed in there again.
00:55:08 Look, he passed in there again and carrying on.
00:55:10 All right, now.
00:55:10 - Kunuke police.
00:55:13 - Excuse me.
00:55:13 - I know they're looking at the show.
00:55:14 Kunuke police.
00:55:15 - Don't call his name.
00:55:16 - Yeah, go and see who the man outside is.
00:55:19 - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:55:21 - The man is not coming and no police has visited me.
00:55:23 - Caller, caller, what is that man name?
00:55:25 - Rashid.
00:55:26 Hello?
00:55:27 - What is that man name?
00:55:28 - Rashid, Rashid Rehana.
00:55:30 - Right.
00:55:31 Listen, Kunuke police, something is happening there
00:55:33 with this man and he's making some threats,
00:55:35 and we spoke about that threat.
00:55:36 I'll go and check the citizen to make sure that he's good.
00:55:40 Kunuke police.
00:55:41 If you hear him, I'll just go up,
00:55:42 just pass some patrol details for somebody.
00:55:44 Just pass and make sure the man is okay now,
00:55:46 before something happens.
00:55:48 - I am frustrated.
00:55:49 I am quite, look, I have a physical challenge.
00:55:52 - Yes.
00:55:53 - All right, sir.
00:55:54 - All right, sir.
00:55:56 So the officer has made a call for his colleagues
