00:19Has anything happened since I talked to you?
00:22Not much, really. I mean, you know, I got a cat.
00:27That's exciting.

00:28Yeah.

00:35Like mother, like daughter.
00:37Well, you've also been really busy because you've been on the It Means Everything Tour.
00:42Yes.
00:42Yeah.
00:43So are you like playing the whole record, front to back kind of thing?
00:46Yeah.
00:47So for the 30-year anniversary of the album, we are playing it from front to back every night.
00:56And it's just now for the first time released on vinyl.
01:00Yes!
01:01Fantastic.
01:02People are very excited about that, and there's a lot of different versions of the vinyl.
01:06There's a checkerboard one, which we don't have at our shows.
01:09We have the splatter one.
01:11Nice.
01:12There's all different kinds.
01:14How does it feel to be back there, out on stage, doing your thing?
01:17You know, I've just been reminiscing about the first Warped Tour I played in 1998 and how different it was.
01:25Yes.
01:26Like the catering is so good now.
01:30Everybody always talks about the food.
01:32That is the first thing.
01:33The food comes up a lot.
01:33I remember a bunch of guys on the first Warped Tour saying that, you know, the catering was worse than
01:38prison food.
01:41We just put sriracha on everything.
01:45Everything.
01:46And you got to see your buddies from Real Big Fish today.
01:51I did.
01:51And you got to play a song with them?
01:53I did.
01:53I did the song that I sang with them on their first album.
01:58She has a girlfriend now.
02:01And it was the first time we've been on stage together in maybe 25 years.
02:07Wow.
02:08Yeah.
02:08That must have been a great feeling.
02:10It really was.
02:11It was like, you know, it's great that they're back and it's great that I'm back.
02:19Yeah.
02:20You know?
02:20Scar is not dead, my friend.
02:22No, it's not.
02:23And also, you know, I'm 50 years old now and I'm like touring like a mad woman.
02:31And it's, um, I still can't believe that I have a career right now.
02:36Like, I can.
02:38What is happening?
02:39People love your band.
02:40You made such a big impact.
02:41I have this memory of driving around with my best friend's big sister and her convertible and blasting it means
02:48everything.
02:49When I was probably, you know, 11, 12 years old.
02:52She was driving at the time.
02:55And it was, you know, it was just like imprinted in my heart, you know, and I think that we
02:59all just have this reverence and this love for your band.
03:02And thank you.
03:04You know?
03:04That means a lot.
03:05Yeah.
03:06I mean, you know, 30 years of sort of like growing up with the music and now the music means
03:15something different than it did when I was 19, you know?
03:17And there's certain songs that I feel like, should I be playing a song about spam?
03:25Like, a woman at my age is this appropriate, you know?
03:32And it's so like, I feel like we've grown up together, like, you know, like siblings, me and this album.
03:40What about like new music or a new album at any point?
03:43Is that in the cards?
03:45Yes.
03:45So I have put out new music since it means everything 30 years ago.
03:50Yeah.
03:51I have.
03:52And there's an album coming out next year.
03:54And like our first full length since Modified.
03:58Wow.
03:58Yeah.
04:00That was in 2001.
04:01And you're playing tomorrow?
04:02Are you playing some of the new stuff?
04:03Yes.
04:04So we're playing tomorrow and we're going to play some of the new stuff and some of the old stuff.
04:11And yeah, we're on the Rex stage.
04:15So we'll see you there.
04:16And if you could give yourself right now, 2026 Monique Warped Tour,
04:22if you could give yourself 1997 Monique advice, what would you say to her?
04:32When you meet good people, nurture those relationships because that is going to get you through a lot.
04:43Yes.
04:44And I've only learned that within the last maybe 10 years.
04:49Yes.
04:49It takes what it takes.
04:51I feel you.
04:52I get you.
04:53Oh my gosh.
04:54I spent a lot of time isolated.
04:58And now I have such good people, such good people around me.
05:02And it's, my life is so different now.
05:06Yeah.
05:06It's pretty great.

05:10And I know that so many of us are so excited to watch you play tomorrow.
