00:15right uh yeah sorry about uh hi there everyone um yeah i mean weather-wise uh there's a few
00:22things going on there's nothing impactful uh affecting the uk weather or anything like that
00:26but a little bit of a change of type taking place um over the weekend albeit in a pretty gentle
00:31kind
00:31of way um a lot of fine weather around today in the meantime with a we've got a front at
00:36the moment
00:36extending across parts of northern ireland and southern scotland which is weakening away
00:39there's a new front approaching which brings some rain into northern scotland um this afternoon
00:44and evening and that frontal zone then continues southwards overnight and tomorrow and gradually
00:49weakens it brings some rain to scotland overnight and perhaps parts of scotland first thing in the
00:53morning clears away with brighter conditions and a few showers falling into northern scotland
00:58then tomorrow daytime and then the front it then moves into across parts of northern ireland and
01:02northern england and north wales whilst weakening um whilst um further south tomorrow um southern
01:08uk has a fine day um and yeah for east anglia southern and southeastern england things a little
01:15bit hotter than today as as well headline max today is probably going around 29 or so then tomorrow
01:20around 30 or so um and then what happens is another front then comes along on saturday night
01:24and brings slightly more widespread rain across the uk uh that then clears away during sunday with
01:29some showers following mainly into the north um and although that sounds like quite that sounds like
01:35a turn to something more unsettled it's not really the fronts are pretty weak there isn't going to be a
01:39huge amount of rain so finding a balance is slightly difficult in a sense because you know there's not
01:46going to be any meaningful rain for most areas there'll be you know the heaviest rain will be
01:49over parts of western scotland over the higher ground and even there amounts to be pretty small
01:53um and then away from that you know there'll be some rain around amounts will be generally pretty
01:58small and rain on the whole pretty short-lived or occurring during the night so we're not really
02:03seeing huge amounts of precipitation and certainly for a lot of areas of the uk most the most weekend
02:08will be all right so southern uk for example it'll be fine tomorrow and although it'll be a cloudy
02:12start with some rain around to begin with on sunday but i'll tell you it's in the afternoon weather
02:16will be mostly fine and dry so so yeah it's it's you know the weekend's not going to be ruined

02:21anything like that um i suppose really i would describe it as turning slightly more changeable
02:26um albeit briefly or very briefly um because on monday pressure then builds again uh and we go back
02:34to a lot of fine dry weather across much of the uk with something of a northwest southeast split
02:38developing for for most of next week across the uk such that in the northwest we do see some rain
02:43at
02:43times and the further south and east you go the better conditions will be with things turning
02:47warmer from tuesday and wednesday as well over england and eastern wales such that we get into the low
02:5230s in places on tuesday or wednesday um and then that means that by thursday you know we'll be back
02:58into heat wave criteria being met um for some areas as well how long the heat wave lasts for a
03:03little
03:03bit uncertain um so it's probably not something to something that's probably a little bit difficult
03:09to say too much about at this precise moment in time um we do end up with um some model
03:14solutions
03:15suggesting that will be low pressure near the uk or over the uk by the time we get to the
03:20back end
03:20of next week um while some keepers and slightly more while some other output allows uh the northwest
03:27southeast split to persist into into next weekend so i think really headline messages really are going to be
03:33a lot of fine weather for many areas still uh today and tomorrow um sunday generally speaking uh less
03:41warm with temperatures returning near average um across the country um and you know changeable in
03:48the north and the further south you go the better conditions will be even if it's a bit rubbish to
03:51start with on sunday and then thereafter northwest southeast split developing with um with much of
03:57england and wales becoming warmer um such that we end up with meeting heat wave criteria um for
04:03some areas by the time we get to thursday um yeah i think that's probably about as much as i've
