00:00Hello then, a very good morning to you on this Wednesday morning.
00:03Another settled day, we're chasing cloud through this morning across more northern areas,
00:08some brighter skies coming through, a little dampness in the air with some patchy rain
00:11and drizzle towards the far north as high pressure declines towards the west of the UK
00:16and we will continue to see a feed of cloud, particularly skirting the far north and northwest
00:20of the country. And then a more active weather front moves in on Friday night and into Saturday,
00:25pushing southwards, a few showers heading towards the south there, more rain though across the north
00:31which is good news for parks, gardens and farmland. Now through this morning, notice we're seeing a
00:37fair amount of cloud across Scotland, Northern Ireland, Northern England, one or two mist and
00:40fog patches further south but the sun comes up and it turns warm yet again. So sunny spells across
00:46many areas and shelter across Scotland, certainly England and Wales with cloud just drifting across
00:51the sky and it will brighten up across Northern Ireland as well. A few patches of rain across the
00:56far northwest of Scotland, one or two fleeting showers towards the northeast. For most though,
01:01it is a dry afternoon and a very warm one in the south, 26 to 28 degrees Celsius with some
01:06high UV
01:07and across the central belt of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the low 20s fresher towards the northwest
01:11of Scotland where again we'll see a fair amount of cloud and some patchy rain and drizzle. So that's
01:17the picture through Wednesday afternoon, this afternoon and into evening time. We'll see some
01:22fine weather to end the day. Yet again though, cloud and rain bothering the far north and northwest.
01:28One or two showers could just about clip the east coast setting the scene for Thursday but some
01:33clearer skies elsewhere and again with a light breeze inland, one or two mist and fog patches.
01:38But more cloud to start the day across central and northern areas of Scotland. Temperatures holding up
01:42generally but in one or two rural spots we could see temperatures dip down to single figures with
01:48some clearer skies. First thing tomorrow morning, here's that cloud across Scotland although across
01:54southern areas you'll see some brighter skies. The cloud will break at times across Northern Ireland,
01:59east coast perhaps seeing a bit more cloud through the morning and again the odd light shower just
02:03about possible. For most it's a dry morning with sunny spells. Through the afternoon a chance of an
02:09isolated shower across central and eastern areas of England. Certainly you'll see some brighter skies
02:13across Scotland and Northern Ireland. A bit of a breeze across the far northwest there as temperatures
02:18high arrive around 17 Celsius generally speaking 23 to 27, 28 degrees Celsius. And a similar situation
02:25on Friday although Scotland will be rather breezy particularly over the coasts as well as the
02:30highlands. So that's the picture on Friday into the weekend though we will see a change as more cloud
