00:02Welcome home residents it's your mate Alistair back with some more radioactive red-hot atomic
00:06news and it feels like the good news won't stop coming because we have a new look at the Godzilla
00:11minus zero design new gameplay of Godzilla destroyer monsters remastered and even a new
00:17Kong x Godzilla teaser to break down and some exclusive details about the ride and how it
00:22sounds even cooler than we expected but before we get into that stuff we just wanted to briefly
00:29talk about the unfortunate passing of Sam Neill a few days ago the actor for Alan Grant unfortunately
00:35died of pneumonia at the age of 78 after recently becoming cancer-free the news came as a shock to
00:42everyone and it feels like the world has lost a legend his enthusiasm for paleontology as Dr. Grant
00:47is one of the reasons I fell in love with dinosaurs in the first place so I'm not sure who
00:52I'd be
00:52without him of course growing up as a lover of film meant there was so many other roles that I
00:57was
00:57able to follow him through whether that's the omen 3 event horizon or one of my personal favorites
01:03hunt for the wilder people I unfortunately never got to meet him though I will never forget this
01:09interaction I had with him over on Twitter what makes this loss so devastating is that he was just
01:13a genuinely good kind man that only wanted to make the world a better place and he did and while
01:20he's
01:20no longer with us he has left us with many great memories and stories that will stick with us for
01:25our lifetime but as heartbreaking as Sam Neill's passing is what a remarkable gift it is that he
01:31leaves us with one final performance in Godzilla X Kong Supernova he inspired generations through
01:36Jurassic Park and now he takes his final bow in Godzilla two of the greatest and most influential
01:43franchises ever created he will be missed now moving on to the actual good news a bunch of new
01:51images of the new Godzilla design for minus zero have been revealed thanks to some new merchandise
01:56and bandai figures and he looks awesome here we can get a better look at that more slim physique
02:02with the more toned leg muscles flat stomach larger and more useful arms and more pronounced dorsal
02:09plates almost taking the shape of a crown as if to say he is the king of the monsters and
02:16at the end of
02:16his tail this one larger dorsal fin which actually reminds me of the adaptation Spinosaurus has to
02:23make it swim better in the water which is pretty cool to see honestly and one thing that people seem
02:29to not really be talking about is that at the base of the tail he has these large jagged plates
02:35that
02:35stick out horizontally almost like the sharp plating of a polycanthus this is actually a super unique
02:41trait I've not seen in a Godzilla design before and I'm curious to see how this affects combat with
02:46other giant monsters if there's anything I have to say I don't love about the design it's just how
02:51massive those feet are just look at them they're massive this seems to be a recurring theme in
02:57Yamazaki's designs he really likes big feet and it wasn't as bad in minus one since the rest of him
03:03was so chunky but this is just a bit comical a bit like the ride design it's inspired by I
03:09think it's
03:10to homage the original tokusatsu suits since they also have these large padded feet but this is just
03:15a bit too much it's also cool that both legendary and Toho share some of the best traits from each
03:21other Yamazaki is a big fan of the monsterverse and it's clear he's taken some inspiration from
03:27Goji Evo with this new slimmed down and agile design obviously it's not the first time Godzilla
03:32has been slimmed down but just look at him that's a man that just saw gold we also got a
03:38new look at
03:39it from this promo for the Godzilla store in Nagoya where they plan to raise a 2.6 meter tall
03:45statue
03:45of the new minus zero design for the public to see and he just looks awesome I much prefer this
03:52boxy head design over the softer more rounded features of minus one but do you think the design
03:57is an upgrade or a downgrade let us know in the comment section down below we're expecting to see a
04:02lot more of minus zero as we head into San Diego comic con later this month since Toho is expected

04:08have a presence there so look forward to a potential full trailer coming soon
04:15now moving on to something that Goji fans have been waiting a long time for and that's Godzilla
04:21Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered since its announcement we've only got little crumbs of
04:27information here and there but no more images of the actual game that is until today where we
04:34finally have some new images of the game and it looks a lot better in my opinion first off we
04:40have
04:40this nighttime shot of Heisei Godzilla in a city and it looks like they've given him a new model
04:45or at least modified it somewhat the head sculpt specifically looks to be a lot more accurate to the
04:50actual suit I'm also really liking the nighttime aesthetic for this as well with it looking all
04:55blue and everything next up we get our first look at Destroyer and Rodan and obviously they both look
05:01great nicely updated versions of the classic Destroyer monster designs but Destroyer now has
05:07the more accurate colors appearing more red than its original weirdly blue purple model also the map
05:14looks a lot more vibrant than what we saw in that initial trailer with substantially less fog than before
05:19next we get our first look at Ghidorah on the Vortak mothership which of course looks awesome I cannot
05:26wait to flatten it and Ghidorah looks to have a slightly modified design as well with a little
05:31bit improved texture way and finally we have a new shot of Showa Mechagodzilla 2 which has replaced
05:38Super Mechagodzilla as the mechanized Goji clone in the game which I know some people will hate but I
05:44always preferred the Showa version anyway so I'm not too bothered I just hope they eventually get to
05:49make Unleashed remastered so we can have that full roster now one thing that's clear is just how much
05:54the visuals have been improved the brown piss filter as it's called has been completely removed
06:00and in its place is a much more visually appealing vibrant game with visuals that more closely align
06:05with that original experience though it would still be cool if there were different filters in
06:10the game that we could switch through like this modern cinematic look or a classic black and white
06:15mode or of course the classic default visuals which would honestly help replayability this game looks
06:21awesome and I cannot wait for it to release November this year we'll have this game releasing
06:25the same week as Godzilla Minus Zero which is just crazy to think about monsters fight now on to
06:33Godzilla X-Kong where legendary have revealed a brand new teaser for the upcoming ride that gives us an
06:39even better look at that evolved Goji design and somehow it looks even better here than it did in
06:45the new empire it starts off with someone being woken up by visions or perhaps nightmares of the
06:50events of the new empire they then get up to the sound of footsteps shaking their apartment and it's
06:55always nice to get a Jurassic Park reference in the wake of Sam Neill's passing and it turns out
07:00they're a Godzilla fan because they have Godzilla and Kong toys which is interesting I guess sh monster
07:06art are canon in the monsterverse then we see this massive footstep left behind as Kong is
07:11mobilizing through the city then we get this awesome shot of Godzilla's dorsal plates slicing
07:17through the water clearly approaching the city after detecting a disturbance in the natural order
07:22I honestly really hope they keep these dorsal plates and supernova I love how jagged they are
07:27we then get reaction shots of people looking up and none other than the king of the great apes
07:32Kong who's peering right down back at them and he just looks so silly big here the civilians then run
07:39into this building because clearly something is about to go down which I'm pretty sure is the
07:43latte world theme park where Kong spots them in the building before beating his chest accepting a
07:50challenge from an oncoming kaiju next Godzilla rises out of the water before roaring at the
07:55civilians below probably screaming get out the way or something and just look at how awesome he looks
08:01it just shows how good this design can be with better animation and actually good lighting
08:06then we get this final shot of them roaring together in front of the lote world castle
08:11in that iconic new empire pose which is is just wonderful now we also have a bunch of new
08:16information about the experience and it somehow sounds even cooler than we thought now this comes
08:22from variety however we were sent this personally by legendary and it sounds amazing on this thrilling
08:29new adventure guests will board the hollow worth aerial vehicles also known as heaves the advanced
08:34exploration craft used by monarch the secret organization at the center of legendary's
08:39monster verse the attraction features two interconnected eight passenger ride vehicles
08:44that transport guests on an approximately 11 minute adventure through hollow earth along the way
08:50massive media screens towering animatronics measuring up to five meters tall and 11 meters wide
08:56dynamic ride motion and immersive special effects combine to deliver a thrilling cinematic experience
09:02unlike any other the fact it's 11 minutes is cool enough because that's extremely long for any big
09:08ride but the fact it'll also have 11 meter long animatronics is actually crazy it does sound like it
09:15will be pretty close to that jurassic world ride with how it's a combination of digital screens with
09:21animatronics to create this immersive experience which just sounds incredible i need to see this now i wonder what
09:27the animatronics are of i can only imagine it being something like kong's hands or maybe his eyes peeking
09:33through the building or something guests become new monarch recruits the secretive organization
09:38researching titans and embark on a mission into hollow earth where they encounter kong along the way
09:44the story of kong x godzilla the ride centers primarily around kong which is why kong x godzilla is used
09:51instead of godzilla x kong as in the monsterverse film franchise titles which i'm not sure that's true to be
09:57honest since the new empire was essentially a kong film but godzilla still had first dibs in the title
10:02pretty sure kong comes first simply because he's more popular in that territory with kong's help
10:08guests continue their exploration of hollow earth until their mission takes a dangerous turn when the
10:14fearsome titan shimo unleashes her deadly ice powers as the battle intensifies godzilla joins kong in an
10:21epic showdown to save hollow earth caught in the middle of the action guests fight alongside the
10:26legendary titans complete their mission and earn their place as official monarch agents now i'm a
10:32bit confused here since we already established that shimo isn't a villain so i'm curious if she's
10:38being controlled by another monster or if they're for some reason hiding skarking from the ride
10:43description the ride is most likely non-canon anyway so it's not that big of a deal it's only taking
10:48bits
10:49and pieces from the established law to create this new immersive experience which is fine i just hope
10:54they don't try and make shimo a villain here the ride is set to open july 24th which is right
10:59around
11:00the corner who's gonna be the first to ride it i'm hoping it's i'm hoping it's me but those in
11:05south
11:05korea might beat me to it
