Godzilla Minus Zero is being very cryptic with its trailers, which is really getting fans excited for what they are about to witness! In this theory, I give an idea on what exactly Ghidorah is aiming to achieve in this story.

00:00Throughout time, King Ghidorah has had one clear goal, to obtain the most power monsterly possible.
00:06And what if that was the monster's mission yet again in Godzilla Minus Zero?
00:10And how will Godzilla and humanity attempt to deal with Monster Zero and get rid of the beast for good?
00:22Welcome to Dangerville, Jacob here again to finish my theory on Ghidorah's story in Godzilla Minus Zero.
00:28You guys gave some good input last time, so make sure and do it again for this video and leave
00:33comments as we go.
00:34The beginning of this theory left off with Ghidorah just defeating Godzilla and Ginza,
00:39and I now have a good reason why, thanks to y'all's input from the last theory of what Ghidorah
00:44was doing with Godzilla's energy right here.
00:47And where he was headed next.
00:49So big thanks to all of you who commented and gave your thoughts.
00:52Keep in mind that if you randomly stumbled upon this video, this is all just a theory,
00:57and all based on speculation and what has come from Godzilla in the past,
01:01but that doesn't mean that it might not be headed in the right direction for Minus Zero's story.
01:06That being said, let's get back to Ghidorah.
01:09Where's the monster headed to after defeating Godzilla in this theory?
01:13Regardless of Ghidorah's exact origin location on Earth,
01:17history suggests Ghidorah will travel vast distances invoking terror and pain to many.
01:22Kinda like Taylor Swift during the Chief's NFL season, go birds!
01:26This take on Ghidorah may never stop searching for more ways to grow and climb the food chain on this
01:32new planet.
01:33Remember guys, that this isn't the MonsterVerse.
01:35I don't think Ghidorah, or Godzilla for that matter, think like the Titans in the MonsterVerse.
01:41There probably won't be any sort of higher thinking going on with these two takes on the monsters.
01:46Their actions seem simplistic and will be dictated by primal, animalistic thoughts of survival.
01:52So in this theory, Ghidorah is not some lost prince exiled from his planet looking for a new kingdom to
01:59rule.
01:59Instead, I have him being a lost creature, only aware that it has found new territory to claim as its
02:06own and to eliminate all threats.
02:08The same attitude Godzilla has towards humans in this particular story created by Takashi Yamazaki,
02:14just to keep things all consistent and in order with this theory.
02:18Like an invasive species, Ghidorah will travel this new land looking for ways to best take advantage of the resources
02:24available.
02:25Which begs the question, will Ghidorah actually wreak havoc across the globe?
02:30There are reports that some bonus scenes were filmed in locations across northern Europe during production for Minus Zero.
02:37And it's been said a time or two now how US soil is going to be in the movie in
02:41one form or another.
02:43So in this theory, Ghidorah flies across the world from Europe to the US.
02:48And then after defeating the greatest human threats to its existence at that time, goes back to Japan.
02:53Drawn by another threat that had until recently been thought to be gone.
02:58If Ghidorah was taking action against all threats to its existence, hitting Europe, then America,
03:04the next threat would be, well the next best source of power and only legitimate threat to its existence,
03:11just so happens to call these lands his home.
03:14Which the G-Man would bring Monster Zero all the way across the Pacific and to Japan.
03:20Now here's where I have two potential routes the theory can go.
03:24Either Ghidorah will head to Japan and terrorize the country before Godzilla fully reveals himself again,
03:30trying to bait Godzilla into a confrontation.
03:34Or Ghidorah will be heading to Japan solely to fight Godzilla with no other motive at the time.
03:39For now, I'm sticking with Ghidorah solely hunting Godzilla at this time.
03:43The rest of the planet could wait its turn to be consumed.
03:48So Monster Zero flies all the way to Japan.
03:50And after arriving, the humans who had just recently became aware Godzilla was still alive,
03:56devised the plan to lure Godzilla to Ghidorah in hopes that Godzilla could end the new monster's campaign of destruction.
04:03Since this new monster could fly, it was a much worse threat than Godzilla even.
04:07In the end, the plan works.
04:09But the outcome is not what they desired.
04:13Make sure to go check out part one of this theory if you haven't checked it out yet.
04:16It will help glue all of this together in your minds.
04:19Now, after absorbing what it wanted from Godzilla's battered body,
04:23Ghidorah could look for a place to rest and claim as its den or direct territory.
04:28A place that just so happens to rest on a source of power that is even greater than Godzilla.
04:34Let's take a look at Japan's geography for a sec.
04:37Heading on over to the ruined district of Ginza, the place we saw Godzilla destroy,
04:41and the first, at least in my theory, location that Godzilla and Ghidorah will battle at,
04:47not too far away from here is the geographical area known as the Tenzawa Mountains,
04:52part of the Kanto mountain range.
04:55This location is described as the backbone of central Japan,
04:59as it separates the flatlands surrounding Tokyo from the mountainous Chubu region.
05:04And this rural area looks a whole lot like the location shown in the trailer and teasers for Minus Zero
05:09so far.
05:10The smaller rolling mountains covered in forests and the narrow passes in between them
05:15are telltale signs from a visual perspective that the Tenzawa range is the location shown in the footage we have
05:21seen so far.
05:22Pretty solid guess if I had to say, but if you happen to be from around that area or have
05:26visited before,
05:28does that sound about right to you?
05:30But there is something more to this land that has deep connections to Godzilla's history and legacy.
05:35The Tenzawa range just so happens to be right smack in the middle between Tokyo and another vital location in
05:42Godzilla history,
05:44Mount Fuji, Japan's largest mountain that's also an active volcano.
05:49Fuji is max rank, that's for sure.
05:51And this iconic landmark, along with volcanoes in general, have a lot of history with Godzilla and Ghidorah.
05:59Mount Fuji is a character in its own right within the story of both of these King Kaiju.
06:04And even though Fuji and Tenzawa are from separate mountain ranges,
06:09their proximity is exactly why Godzilla passes through Tenzawa in the first place time after time.
06:15In the films, Godzilla is frequently drawn to the massive geothermal and volcanic energy of Mount Fuji and surrounding areas.
06:23Because the Tenzawa mountains sit directly between Tokyo and Mount Fuji,
06:28the Tenzawa passes become the natural gateways or military defense lines
06:33whenever Godzilla moves between the city and the volcano.
06:36And like I said,
06:38Ghidorah is equally, if not more, connected to this particular hunk of land.
06:42In 1964, Ghidorah originally landed near Mount Fuji and used it as its base of operations as it attacked surrounding
06:49areas.
06:50In 1968, Ghidorah returned and was being controlled by aliens who just so happened to post their base
06:56in the shadow of Mount Fuji.
06:58And in Godzilla GMK, Ghidorah was resting within a forest that, you guessed it, lay at the bottom of Mount
07:06Fuji.
07:06My theory may be accurate, it may not, but one thing is clear.
07:10There's a huge chance that Ghidorah is headed to Mount Fuji in Minus Zero,
07:14either before or after his first battle with Godzilla.
07:17Takashi uses parts of all Godzilla lore to create his stories,
07:22and leading up to a big final battle with Mount Fuji resting in the distance is right in line with
07:28Godzilla's history.
07:29With all of this being said, let's put this full theory together now.
07:34This is how I think the ending of Godzilla Minus Zero will play out.
07:38After defeating Godzilla and Ginza in round one of their big battle,
07:42Ghidorah gains the hypothetical monster crown
07:45and flies towards Mount Fuji due to the location's geological activity
07:49and the vast amounts of raw energy coursing through Earth just under the surface there.
07:55It's not that he even wants to absorb the energy like something from the Monstaverse.
07:59In my theory, he likes these lands more so due to the tectonic activity in the Earth's core,
08:05reminding the creature of its natural home planet somewhere out in space.
08:09The perfect place to call home for a beast like Ghidorah.
08:13With Mount Fuji as its base of operations, Ghidorah unleashes on Japan
08:17and starts to attack human civilization in the surrounding areas.
08:21This could actually be what's going on during this one specific attack scene in the trailer.
08:26With some time occurring after the first battle,
08:29it becomes clear that Godzilla survived yet again because Godzilla don't give a shit.
08:34Assuming Godzilla would pursue Ghidorah after seeing how he chased Koichi's plane in Minus One,
08:39our human heroes create a master plan.
08:42This brings us to this mysterious bomb that has been shown way too often in the footage so far
08:47to be just an ordinary weapon.
08:50It's clear this thing's going to play a pivotal role in the story of Minus Zero.
08:53And what if humanity has developed another oxygen destroyer type of weapon here?
08:59Using the DNA collected from Godzilla, this G-cell sample right here,
09:03they created this weapon they suspect would completely obliterate both monsters
09:09to the point they can't even regenerate.
09:11Their plan, once again, lure the monsters to fight one another somewhere within the Tenzawa range
09:17so they could drop their big weapon and ensure there won't be a third time.
09:21Creating a new weapon of mass destruction and deciding to drop it on land
09:25unknowing of what destruction will come in its wake
09:28could be the moral boundary being crossed mentioned in the teaser.
09:33But the Kaiju battle has to reach the perfect spot to ensure the least amount of damage.
09:38Even if this weapon does not detonate into a traditional explosive blast,
09:43if it is more like an oxygen destroyer type of weapon,
09:46they would still want to ensure it was done in the safest place possible.
09:50So in this theory, the humans have to dictate how they can take the two monsters
09:55to this specific location, all while they rage battle between one another.
09:59This stressful type of operation is just another form of classic storytelling
10:04in Godzilla history that has happened in a lot of the movies.
10:08Once the location is spot on, the bomb will be dropped.
10:11And we're just going to have to wait and see what happens next.
10:14And for everyone who's a little on the fence here about seeing Godzilla get beat up in this theory,
10:19just know that Godzilla whoops extreme ass this time around
10:23so he redeems himself in that regard
10:25and gives the fans what they want to see before the end of the movie.
10:28In this theory, we can't have a Godzilla movie
10:31where Godzilla doesn't come out on top against the other monster.
10:34And just to add some more ideas into your brains,
10:37it's even possible Koichi is so upset once Ghidorah leaves Ginza
10:41because he knew that it meant that the bomb plan was now the only option
10:45and who knows what sorts of implications that would have towards other parts of his life.
10:51You know.
10:52But that's a story, a theory for another time.
