00:00What's up everyone?
00:01This is Jacob, welcome to Dangerville.
00:03Thanks to the Monarch Files and Monstaverse manual, we now know Godzilla's greatest power,
00:08his big secret to success.
00:10Let's talk about the G-Man.
00:13Throughout the Monstaverse, Godzilla has changed his look and abilities like he was some form
00:18of biological iPhone.
00:20None more prominent than when he mutated into his evolved form.
00:24This was the biggest change in the big guy's look yet.
00:26And in the story, it's described that Godzilla was forcing himself to evolve to be able to
00:31face the next big challenge, which at that time was the Scar King using Shimo as a weapon
00:36to attempt to conquer the entire planet.
00:39Let's be real, it did kinda seem out of place for this Godzilla to outright destroy human
00:45structures and other titans for that matter.
00:47He was a silent protector for all that time and suddenly he craved unprovoked violence.
00:53This bothered some people who felt like Godzilla's character was in question.
00:57But now the truth is out and Godzilla's actions don't seem nearly as irrational.
01:02The G-Man knows exactly what he's doing and it's all very calculated.
01:06Everything he does is for the betterment of planet Earth, even if not all of his actions
01:10seem honorable.
01:11Studying Godzilla at Castle Bravo, Monarch was able to record and study the vocal patterns
01:16of the king.
01:17After some time, they were able to determine that Godzilla is capable of an extremely wide
01:22range of communication frequencies that goes well beyond what was first hypothesized.
01:27They captured sounds of aggression, some that were very slow and graceful, like he was having
01:31a little hum to one of his favorite songs, living in the moment you could say.
01:35Sometimes it seemed like Godzilla was in deep thought, described as even being inquisitive
01:40actually.
01:41In his own special, unique way, Godzilla questions existence, the very world around him.
01:47Which we did get a taste of that in Godzilla Dominion, and this is just further proof that
01:52those thoughts were canon and not exaggerations to fit that comic story.
01:56So it's great and all that Godzilla is the kind of guy that might be fun to sit around
02:00a campfire with, but he's not just a chill guy.
02:03We also now know more about his epic power from within.
02:06The big guy sources his extreme power through a bioreactive, circulatory system that kicks
02:12in when threatened.
02:14Just like with real world animals, Godzilla's entire biology reacts to the environment he's
02:20in.
02:20And this is part of his big secret.
02:22So stomp that subscribe button in honor of the king himself, and we will get to more on
02:26that right after we talk about how Godzilla is able to breathe atomic fire, turn it into
02:31a beam of destruction, and kick some tailwinds.
02:33Once activated, Godzilla's atomic blast goes through a lot of processes before turning
02:38into the beam we know and love.
02:41Described as a neuron flux, the power rushes through Godzilla's dorsal plates, which work
02:46as current amplifiers of sorts until it reaches his nucleosynthetic throat chambers, which then
02:51explodes the energy into the beam we all recognize.
02:59Nucleosynthetic, or nucleosynthesis, I should say, is a really hard to say word that I've
03:04never really thought of or even heard of before.
03:07But I'll sum it up in a way that makes it as understandable as possible because it's
03:11almost singular point levels of big brain talk.
03:14Stick with me here.
03:16The same process that occurs inside Godzilla's throat before he fires his beam is similar
03:21to a cosmic process where new atomic nuclei are created.
03:25In short, this process is key to forming all the chemical elements in the universe.
03:30Like from the Big Bang, the creation of our universe as we know it.
03:34Also from within the core of stars.
03:36And most relevant to us MonsterVerse fans, during the explosion of a star.
03:42What's another word for that?
03:44Godzilla has the power of an exploding star bottled up within him.
03:49Let that sink in.
03:50Let's go even further now.
03:52Because this is where we learn why Godzilla is practically unbeatable and why a certain
03:57cosmic threat may be hunting him.
04:03It's now officially detailed that in his pursuit of order, Godzilla is able to adapt
04:08his biology at its core down to his very DNA to be able to face whatever opponent was threatening
04:14him.
04:14All that thinking down in the ocean is really just the G-Man writing down his workouts
04:18for the week and what supplements he should be taking to be able to win the next big game
04:22or battle in this case.
04:23By absorbing energy around him, Godzilla can force himself to self-evolve.
04:28Whatever the challenge, whatever the opponent, Godzilla has the ability to mutate his body
04:34to best be able to face it.
04:35And this has happened numerous times within his story in the MonsterVerse.
04:39And helps explain why his appearance is always changing.
04:43His evolution in the new empire was based around the thought of needing to be more agile to take
04:48on a potential army under the Scar King's command.
04:51And the jump to a more extreme thermodynamic ceiling from blue to pink was Godzilla forcing
04:57himself to become more hot in a sense to be able to combat Shimo's extreme cold.
05:02Without these evolutions, Godzilla might not have been nimble enough to crush the Kongs,
05:07and he might not have had atomic breath strong enough to really impact Shimo.
05:11So we knew Godzilla could change his look and evolve, but it was never properly explained
05:16how or why until now.
05:18There's a good chance that the form in which Godzilla first appeared in the MonsterVerse
05:23was his true appearance.
05:25A look that maybe his body will naturally devolve back to if he goes long periods of time without
05:30threats.
05:31But Godzilla's a busy guy these days and there are no signs of him slowing this evolutionary
05:36arms race down just yet.
05:38Especially with what's on the horizon.
05:40It's stated within the Monarch files that with this immense body and universe shaping
05:46power that surges through Godzilla, that he is in fact king of the current monsters on
05:52the planet.
05:52Given enough time, Godzilla could eventually train his body and force evolution to occur.
05:57Give him another year or two to soak up energy around the globe and even Shimo probably wouldn't
06:02be able to go toe to toe with him.
06:04But this power, this ability to generate the power of creation.
06:09Not just of life on Earth, but all life in the universe.
06:13This described to be bottomless pit of power, and listen to me close here, may provoke predators
06:20from beyond Earth.
06:22Did we just get another hint at SpaceGodzilla?
06:24I think so.
06:26Being described as a predator.
06:28This is a term I don't think has been used often in the MonsterVerse.
06:32Typically, villain titans are described as destroyers, not predators.
06:37So is SpaceGodzilla hunting him to harvest his cosmic, universe-bending power?
06:42Let me know what you think in the comments.
06:44Maybe this explains why Ghidorah first ventured across space all the way to Earth.
06:49To challenge Godzilla, take his power, take his home as his own.
06:54The devil with three heads may have only been the first wave.
06:57And what to come is way, way worse.
07:00This, only time will tell.
07:02The Monarch Files, a MonsterVerse manual, is available to purchase right now if you want
07:07to add to your MonsterVerse collection and have fun with some lore.
07:10Remember everyone, the best way to get more lore if you're a fan of that, is to show legendary
07:15how much we care about it, and this is a good way to do that.
07:19There's plenty more to be explored within the book, so I hope to see you come visit Dangerville
07:23again.
07:24Remember to hit that bell, leave the video a like, and watch some more of our videos so
07:28you have the best chance of knowing about our future videos coming out.
07:30And I want to give a big shoutout to Darko for helping me out with some of the 3D art
07:34in this
07:35video.
07:35The genre really does have some of the best artists you can find.
07:39You guys are awesome.
07:40I really hope you enjoyed this video and had a good time exploring the lore with me.
07:44You know I love lore and this was fun.
07:46As always, this has been Jacob and I'll see y'all in the next one.
