02:44Joe Carter trade for the Browns.
02:45That they were able to bring back a boatload for their best player at the

06:55I would think that the opportunity for other guys is just as strong now as it was before.

07:07getting double teamed and chipped and everything else all the time.

07:15or you try to do something to create them, to try to create the ball to either go towards

09:52The other part of the Browns too, Jeff, that I kind of wanted to dabble on today and just
09:56talk a little bit about was the wide receiver position.
09:59Because again, when I look at the Browns offense, I, they just have question mark after question
10:04mark after question mark.
10:05I also believe I, I just, I don't see Sanders, Watson, Gabriel, all three of those guys on
10:13the roster when the season starts.
10:14One of those guys, Gabriel, or truthfully, I think it's Gabriel Sanders.
10:19You know, all of a sudden guys who you were hoping would be your number two, Cedric Tillman,
10:24you think can be your number four or five wide receiver.
10:27And that's good.
10:28And you don't like to list these guys.

10:31No, but I mean, as far as, as far as snaps, you know what I mean?
10:36I mean, there's a, there's a clear pecking order when it comes to that position.
10:41And it mainly comes down to passes thrown to, you know, as we had in the, in the camp

10:47And you look at the wide receivers, Jeff, because I, you've been skeptical of our wide
10:51receivers for, I don't know, decade now, right?

11:19You know, Boston is the big bodied guy who can go up and, you know, win the contested
11:24catch and Concepcion hopefully is the guy.

11:30I hope he becomes a Tyreek Hill kind of player though.
11:34You know, can lots of yards after catch, very elusive, that kind of a guy.
11:39And, and that's, that's a nice contrast.
11:42And then I hope Jerry Judy can just be competent.
11:45I've never been a huge Jerry Judy fan, but I think Jerry has some ability.
11:51And if he's one of three wide receivers who are on the field, most of the time, that's
11:55fine.
11:55So is that more pressure or less pressure for Judy?

12:01I tend to agree with you on that, that I think it takes some of the pressure off of Judy
12:04because we, you know, on paper, you're looking at the wide receiver.
12:08He was the only guy other teams thought might hurt them, a wide receiver.
12:11So he was getting doubled all the time and, you know, getting more attention.
12:16I wasn't going to put it that way.
12:17Getting more attention from the defense.
12:19And hopefully Concepcion and Boston are good enough that they take some of the defense,
12:24defensive attention away.
12:27I'm, I'm, I'm looking forward.
12:30I think of all the positions I'm looking forward to, it's that.
12:33Like, I want to see that we've got guys that can make catches that we haven't seen in a
12:37while and give any of these quarterbacks, you know, a place to be able to throw the ball.
12:44I hope that Boston and Concepcion are the guys that we're talking about for a long time.

12:50It's been ages since we've had wide receivers that you can kind of count on that you, you
12:56want to say, Hey, we need to buy a Boston Jersey.
12:58We need to buy a Concepcion Jersey.
12:59Like, I don't, I don't know where we're at on this point, but I do know going into camp,
13:05this is about as strong as I felt about our wide receivers in a while.
13:08And I do think that's risky because you've got two rookies in there.
13:16I just, I look at that and I'm like, do I want to believe this?
13:19Landy, you can't yet say the Browns wide receiving core is a lot better.

13:25Until they gave some assets to that position until these guys actually produce, you can't

15:14These guys, this new group, I don't think is as good as those guys in their heyday.
15:19But last year wasn't their heyday.
15:21They were beat up last year.
15:24Injuries kept them from being either on the field or effective.
15:28And they replaced bodies.
15:31If they're healthy, it'll be better than last year.
