00:00Hello there, good afternoon.
00:02After quite a bright start to the day, I'm afraid it's going to be quite a miserable
00:05end to the weekend with heavy spells of rain and also plenty of showers.
00:11Now across the very far south, although turning cloudier through the afternoon, remaining mostly
00:15dry and bright until a little bit later into the afternoon will we start to see this band
00:19of rain slowly sink its way southwards.
00:21It could still be a little bit heavy across high ground but turning mostly light into
00:26the afternoon.
00:26And a little bit brighter behind but you can see plenty of showers feeding through.
00:30These could be heavy with some hail, some thunder and likely turning as snow across high ground
00:36in Scotland.
00:37Feeling quite chilly for all, particularly in some fairly brisk winds.
00:41We may even see some gales around in Scotland.
00:43So that is going to take the edge off temperatures a fair bit, even though highs are reaching
00:47around 11 to 12 degrees Celsius.
00:51Now into this evening, we do eventually say goodbye to the rain after quite a soggy end
00:55to the day across the south, turning largely dry and clear across much of England and Wales.
01:00Though you can see still plenty of showers feeding into much of the north and these could still
01:04be a little heavy overnight, still likely falling as snow across high ground, mainly in Scotland
01:09as we reach Monday morning.
01:11And still a fairly brisk northerly wind out there by the morning.
01:15Though winds will lighten off a little bit, but it is enough to hold temperatures up.
01:18So many areas mostly frost free as we head into the start of the new week.
01:23Now across much of England and Wales, it should be quite a dry, bright start, although a little
01:28bit chilly out there.
01:29And winds largely easing away across much of the southern half of the country.
01:33So by the afternoon with some sunny spells, lighter winds, even though temperatures are
01:37fairly similar, it's probably going to be feeling much more pleasant than it will do this afternoon.
01:41There will still be some showers filtering through across the north, but turning mostly light
01:45by the afternoon and fairly few showers as well by later into the day.
01:49So many areas seeing quite a dry afternoon on Monday, still a bit of a chill in the air.
01:54Highs reaching around 13 degrees Celsius, but more towards 9 to 10 degrees Celsius across
01:59the north.
02:01Now if you're not a fan of the chillier weather, well there is something a little milder on its
02:05way as we see this next system pushing across the north, high pressure towards the southwest.
02:10So something drier, settled towards the middle part of the week and a little bit milder.
02:14Temperatures might even push in to the mid to high teens, but with it some cloud, a little
02:19bit of moisture there, so we could also see some light showers through the middle part
02:23of the week.
02:24But of course, for more updates, don't forget you can always join us here on YouTube.
02:28Bye bye.
