00:00Hello there, good evening. It's felt rather chilly out there this afternoon, particularly
00:04amongst the wind and rain, so you might be pleased to know that something a little milder
00:09is on its way. For the time being though, it's still going to be fairly chilly through
00:12the overnight period. Any rain eventually starting to clear the south and there's actually
00:16going to be a lot of clear skies across much of England and Wales. Still plenty of showers
00:20feeding through, particularly across Scotland, Northern Ireland, some filtering through across
00:24northern and central England too. But largely light, though we could still see a little
00:29bit of winteriness amongst the showers across Scotland and still a fairly brisk breeze out
00:33there this evening, so that should hold temperatures up to around the mid-single figures, so stopping
00:38them dropping too low. So many areas should be largely frost free as we head our way into
00:43Monday. Nevertheless though, it's still going to be probably quite a chilly start, particularly
00:47in the wind, but the winds are largely easing through the course of the day. Most showers
00:51easing away too, so many areas should actually see quite a dry start to the week, some sunny
00:56spells into the afternoon and with those lighter winds as well, probably feeling much more pleasant
01:00than it did this afternoon. There will still be some showers around, particularly across
01:04the coast of Scotland, but turning much lighter compared to what they've been over the last
01:08couple of days. Highs reaching around 13 degrees Celsius, but with that added chill, just still
01:13with a slight northwesterly breeze, that's going to make things feel that little bit cooler.
01:18Then into this evening, largely dry still once again, and if you're not a fan of the cold,
01:23well we are eventually saying goodbye to that colder air, another system starts to push in
01:27from the west and it brings milder Atlantic air across much of the country. So as we head
01:32our way into Tuesday, things will certainly not be feeling quite as chilly as they have
01:36done. But with the milder weather comes cloudy skies and some spells of rain and drizzle,
01:42particularly across western hills as this cloud pushes in from the west. So some spells of rain
01:47and drizzle, but once again many areas should be largely dry. Less sunshine around, but certainly
01:52better temperatures. Highs pushing into 15 to 16 degrees Celsius, so above average for the
01:58time of year. And then that remains the pattern over the next few days into the coming week,
02:03but of course for more updates on that, don't forget you can subscribe to our YouTube channel.
02:07Bye bye.
