00:23Hello everybody, welcome back to Andalusia, southwestern Spain, race two coming up, MX2,
00:29race two, that is. It's the second round of the FIA motocross world championship, the MXGP of
00:35Andalusia. We are just outside of Almonte and that first race was an absolute cracker. We'll see the
00:45highlights in a moment, but if ever there was a time to put in the performance for the home fans,
00:52today was one of those days. Guillem Férez picking up the win from Camden McClellan, Simon Langenfeld,
00:59Matis Banan and Giannis Rachelis. Riders are on their sighting lap, just making their way in now.
01:07Little bit of track prep in one or two areas, but relatively speaking, track still bumpy as it was
01:13in race one. Jump faces have been fixed, landings have been fixed, as you can see on the triple here,
01:19middle of your screen now at the bottom. Sandy surface, no need for watering this weekend,
01:25plenty of that in the ground after rain Thursday night, Friday night. Conditions absolutely perfect
01:31here. And what a great job the organization have done to get this Grand Prix on. Brand new venue,
01:37brand new circuit, brand new location. And this 1,700 meter long racetrack has proven a real test
01:45so far. Physically, mentally, it's high speed. Then you've got the physical element with that,
01:51where you don't want to make mistakes. You've got the atmosphere with the bleachers around the track,
01:56and then the infield crowd. It has been absolutely electric so far.
02:06And we are almost set to go and do it again. Feels warmer than the 20 degrees on screen.
02:13But today has definitely been the warmest day so far that we've been on track, the driest day as well.
02:21And everybody that's here has pretty much enjoyed themselves.
02:26Take a look at the highlights from race one earlier, though, shall we? If you weren't with us then,
02:30here's what happened. Here's what happened. MX2 race one. The MXGP of Andalus Thea in Almonte,
02:40round two of the FIM motocross world championship. Sasha Kunin over the foxhole shot line for the first
02:45time. Guillem-Ferez, the home favorite there in second on the 99. Langenfelder third.
02:49Giannis Rachelis fourth. Matches for Land. Camden McClellan were right there as well.
02:54Then Sasha Kunin threw away the lead on lap four. That allowed Ferez to go by. Langenfelder and
02:59Giannis Rachelis also moved up in the third. Then we saw a change for the lead.
03:06Because of that crash, Langenfelder then tried to capitalize. Thought he got close enough to make the move, but instead
03:13Langenfelder made a mistake a couple of laps later. And it was Camden McClellan who made the difference.
03:18He found his way into second on lap eight. He then went after his teammate on several occasions.
03:23Maybe a little too nice.
03:26Even here, couldn't quite get the job done.
03:29Tried to get in and out of the turn early.
03:31Wasn't able to succeed.
03:33And in the end, it was Guillem-Ferez who took his first win of the season. His second career win.
03:38No better place than to do it here.
03:40A triumph one-two as Ferez edged out McClellan, Langenfelder, Valan and Giannis Rachelis.
03:45And why not go celebrate in turn one with your fans? That's exactly what he did.
03:50Big moment for the Spaniard.
03:57And that was race one. And that was only a snippet of it.
04:01When Camden McClellan got into second on lap eight, he hounded down his teammate.
04:05And for the next ten laps, those two were wheel-to-wheel, bar-to-bar.
04:10McClellan couldn't make it happen.
04:12Let's go down to the grid. Lisa Lola was down there with Sasha Koonin, who fell from first to eventually
04:17come home in seven.
04:18Before that, though, Ivan Faventes.
04:23So I'm just on the start line here in Almonte.
04:26And we're almost ready for the penultimate race of the day, the MX2 race two.
04:29But before we get things underway, we have five-time enduro world champion with us, Ivan Cervantes.
04:35Ivan, are you enjoying the MXGP in Spain so far?
04:38Yeah, it's always a big pleasure to be here, you know, in front of amazing people, amazing atmosphere.
04:46And follow our riders, you know, from Triumph, Guillain Favres and McClellan.
04:50And they did a good job in Argentina.
04:53They did it again, you know, in the first hit.
04:57And, of course, we're waiting for a great result in the second hit, you know.
05:01I mean, that first race, I mean, it was pretty much battle of the teammates, wasn't it?
05:06Which way do you see it going?
05:08Who do you think can get this one?
05:09Well, it's difficult to explain, you know, but from the finish line, push a lot for the big support for
05:20them, you know.
05:21And McClellan and Guillain make a good winter test.
05:26And now it's time to show everybody how is our project.
05:31But we were just talking off camera, Ivan, but we were saying that Triumph, you can see the difference from
05:37last year to this year.
05:38I mean, they've upped that level, haven't they?
05:40So they're definitely a productive winter.
05:42Yeah, they make one step more, you know.
05:45Clement de Salle is behind of these amazing riders with his passion and also all the professionalism, you know.
05:55And the beans, all the atmosphere inside of the team is amazing and they make a good job.
06:03And did you see in Argentina and also here?
06:06Yeah, well, best of luck to the team.
06:07Nice chatting to you.
06:08Thank you, Ivan.
06:11Okay, I'd like to speak to one of the protagonists from that first race.
06:15It's Red Bull KTM Factory MX2 rider, Sasha Kunin.
06:18Sasha, that first race, you got the start.
06:20You were looking good at the sharp end, at the head of the field.
06:23But what actually happened?
06:24I don't know.
06:25I had the arm pump since first lap.
06:27I don't know how that came.
06:28But it's like it is.
06:30I just didn't have the best flow, let's say.
06:32And, yeah, I was not feeling really good out there.
06:37I made a little mistake, so I got off the bike.
06:39But it's like it is.
06:41Just keep focused for second motor.
06:43Take a good start and be ready.
06:46A new track here for the MXGP paddock.
06:48Kind of like a sandy terrain up your street.
06:51I like it.
06:52It's, yeah, I would not say it's a sand track, but it's kind of sketchy, so you really need
06:58to be careful and watch out on the sketchy things.
07:01But I like it.
07:03Have a good race.
07:04Thank you, Sasha Kunin there.
07:05Good luck to all the boys here on the grid.
07:07It's time for MXGP, race two.
07:10Sasha Kunin, 24 points off the lead now as he heads into race two here in Spain, in Andalusia.
07:17Take a look at the calendar.
07:18That's where we're going in, 26.
07:22Left-hand side, Argentina already done.
07:24We're in Andalusia now, right in the southwest corner of Spain.
07:27We're going to Switzerland a week from now.
07:28Week off, we've got two in Sardinia, Trentino.
07:31And we have a month off, and then all of a sudden, look at how everything stacks up.
07:34Three in a row from France to Germany to Latvia.
07:37Week off, we go to Italy, Portugal, South Africa.
07:39That's three in a row.
07:41Week off, then Mattelie Basin, three in a row to Czech Republic.
07:44Sorry, to Fox Hills, Czech Republic, and Belgium.
07:47Then a week off, then we've got two.
07:48And then the final three on the bounce, Turkey, China, Australia.
07:51Of course, the Montserrati FIM autocross nations earn a 4th of October.
07:55So, once we've got that one month, it's going to be very, very busy for us for the rest of
08:01the season.
08:02Barely any time off.
08:03Take a look at how the riders line up.
08:04Same as they did in race one, based on where they finished in the qualifying race.
08:08Remember, points on the line in that qualifying race for the World Championship.
08:1110, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
08:14Down to 10th place.
08:15Sacha Kunin picking up back-to-back qualifying race wins in the first two rounds.
08:19So, he's taken 20 points in those races towards his World Championship tally.
08:26So, he's been productive there.
08:28But just that crash at the start of race two in Argentina left him pointless.
08:32That crash in race one here left him down in seventh place.
08:36He'll be hoping for better this time around.
08:38What a race Gim Ferez had in race one.
08:42He's definitely zoning out right there, isn't he?
08:44Going through some motions.
08:46The Triumph Racing MX2 factory team rider.
08:48Can he deliver again for the home fans?
08:53Camden McClellan.
08:54I'm sure there were some bants after the race, but this rider here probably would have been kicking himself.
09:00There was a great opportunity, or seven, presented to him to maybe take the win.
09:05Didn't quite take them.
09:07He'll be hoping to take advantage in race two.
09:11Sacha Kunin got arm pump in the early stages.
09:14Didn't have his flow.
09:15That's probably why he crashed.
09:17Hoping for better this time around.
09:18Simon Langenfelder was third best that time in race one.
09:22The two Triumphs were just too good for the KTM men.
09:26Balan was fourth.
09:29Got his way into fourth on lap eight of 18.
09:32Can he find himself on the podium this weekend with a good solid ride?
09:36Maybe in Giannis Raceless, who was fifth in race one.
09:38A lot happens, and a lot depends on what happens at the start here.
09:42The fly race in 15-second board is up for the final time this weekend.
09:46MX2 race two.
09:4730 minutes plus two laps.
09:48The concluding race of this MX2 Grand Prix of Andalusia in Almonte.
10:00Everybody cleanly away.
10:03Triumphs to the inside.
10:04Again, Sacha Kunin.
10:05He backed the foxhole shot in race one.
10:08Looks like maybe Langenfelder.
10:11But then ran out of room, and Sacha Kunin.
10:14Not the inside.
10:15It was very, very tight either way, but Kunin leads immediately.
10:25And the lead Triumph is the number eight of Kempner McClellan.
10:30Where is his teammate?
10:33He's had problems.
10:34He's down in 20th position.
10:36Did he get squeezed through the first corner?
10:40Not the start Ferez wanted.
10:44But Sacha Kunin looking to make amends.
10:46This is the area of the track where he fell in race one.
10:48Around about now as he goes out of shot.
10:50Delerio Latta.
10:51A great start.
10:52He was eight in race one.
10:53He's currently second on lap one in race two for Honda HRC Petronas.
10:58But the hard charging Kempner McClellan in no mood for hanging around.
11:02If he can't see his teammate ahead of him, he knows he's got the opportunity to win a Grand Prix
11:06here this weekend for Triumph.
11:13We know he's got pace and fitness.
11:16He just wasn't able to find his way past an evenly matched motorcycle in the first outing.
11:23Fourth there for Langenfelder.
11:24Everts in white in fifth.
11:25Then for Land.
11:26Then Yanis Raceless, Carsmakers, Carlos Raceless and Kaz Volk.
11:35Get everybody over the line here.
11:38Ferez already up into 18th but not where he wants to be at all.
11:43It's all gone quiet over there for now.
11:46He's going to need their support every step of the way.
11:50Unofficial first lap in the books then.
11:53Sacha Kunin 1.7 clear of the Valerio Latta.
11:57McClellan just losing touch with Kunin here.
12:00Already 2.6 seconds adrift in third position.
12:05Simon Langenfelder.
12:06Look how gnarly this track is.
12:08Yes, it's got a hard base but it's definitely a sandy surface as well.
12:12Would you say like a...
12:14Oh, surf your way.
12:16One-legged through the corner.
12:19Sacha Kunin.
12:21Wow, you can't take your eyes off this kid, can you?
12:23Watch this.
12:24Comes in, loses the front leg off the bike.
12:34Looked like a dog taking her pee up against the lamppost.
12:39Cocked it up high.
12:43Stayed on two wheels though.
12:48Look at Latta.
12:49Closing in on him here.
12:52McClellan looking like he just needs a couple of laps just to reset himself.
12:55Get himself redialed.
12:57And I wonder how much that first...
12:58Oh, Ferez!
13:04He's going to go out and rejoin the race.
13:07But Guillem Ferez...
13:11Issues on the opening lap through the first few corners.
13:13He was down and around about 20th position.
13:16He's had to come in for some running repairs.
13:19Heartbreak for the Spanien.
13:23He will not get to stand on the podium here at home after such a heroic effort in Rex 1.
13:31That first Grand Prix victory for Triumph then is going to fall to Camden McClellan.
13:36He is on the top step of the podium at the moment with 42 points.
13:39Sacha Kunin on 39.
13:40Langenfelder on 38.
13:43But we are still early doors in this race.
13:4626 minutes plus two to go.
13:50Can Sacha Kunin keep it together this time around?
13:53Or in this second race even?
13:57Right, take a look at the start.
13:59Shed some light on number 99, Guillem Ferez.
14:03Gate number two over on the right-hand side.
14:06Was watching where the foxhole shot came from and...
14:10Oh, he couldn't...
14:10Yeah, he couldn't change gear.
14:11Look, that's what it looked like.
14:14Then he tipped around the inside and he was already at the back as the rider went down at the
14:18back.
14:20Watch the body language here.
14:21Trying to change gear.
14:22Look, can't shift.
14:26Oh, frustrating for the Spaniard.
14:37The highs and lows of motocross in the blink of an eye.
14:45Sasha Kunin was fastest at the end of that first lap at 1.45.1.24.
14:56he and latter who's chasing him down on the honda here number 18 only riders in the 145 zone
15:03fastest lap in race one was camden mcclellan on lap two of 145 173 so at the moment
15:10sasha kunin has the acherbis fastest lap of the weekend and it will come in lap in race two
15:17evans and vallan here fifth and six the start has gone affect your racing and kawasaki racing team mx2
15:29but i'm taking a look over the shoulder there
15:31i guess he wanted to see who it was that he could hear in the left ear roll i mean
15:38yannis raceless
15:44sasha kunin putting him some distance between himself and latter now mcclellan 2.1 seconds
15:50further back so doesn't need a push at the moment mcclellan
15:56but the danger man is going to be langenfelder who's four seconds adrift in fourth place
16:04plenty of other stuff going on around him though with these two fighting over fifth evans in fifth
16:09vallan in six
16:15i don't think anybody expected a circuit so tough and so challenging
16:18yeah they can you know the riders can talk about how tricky the circuit is in terms of
16:23that hard base that makes it even more of one of those tracks doesn't it that you've got to master
16:29you've got deeper sand over here yeah you've got harder base over on the other side of the circuit
16:33square edge bumps got to master everything if you want to be world champion
16:42same boat for everybody
16:49nicely done ballant picking up over those holes and again for yannis raceless behind him in seventh place
16:57kars mac is eight carless raceless nine kars volk ten
17:12yeah they're telling ferez to come in he'll do a lap in cruise mode he's obviously got issues
17:21and that is a shame for kian perez who was so good in race one the fans
17:28applaud him as he goes by almost as if he's on a football pitch and they're rewarding him for his
17:35efforts as he gets substituted off in the second half
17:45but all of a sudden that will put langenfelder back on top
17:49in the championship chase mcclellan just one point behind
17:53in second now langenfelder on 95 camden mcclellan on 94
17:58sasha kunan leaps up from seventh to third on 81 points and gian perez will be stuck in four on
18:0780
18:19so camden mcclellan if he can find his way past valerio latter here and he's only
18:23he's 1.9 seconds behind him but he was less than that now 1.3 it's only 2.7 between
18:30the first three
18:31all of a sudden camden mcclellan can find himself taking the championship leaders red plate
18:36evans and valer still fighting over fifth they are about eight nine seconds behind langenfelder
18:44and valand looking serious here
18:48evans tries to close him down doesn't work hard enough or does he
18:52just about hangs on to that fifth place but he looks like he's on borrowed time
19:05four laps complete
19:08liam evans going defensive for that got to figure a way out here to find the way past the number
19:1426
19:15in the background yannis raceless on that monster energy yamaha and then
19:19kai cars makers what a good start for the number 33 left argentina 15th in the championship with an 11
19:25and a no score in race two 10th in race one here in spain in andalusia eighth at the moment
19:33it's going to be ninth overall for the grand prix if he stays where he is the number 33
19:39on the dixon race in kawasaki
19:49and it's raceless getting closer to these two ahead of him just inching away
20:07high speed waves so unpredictable now though even how soft the base of that jump is softer than it's
20:14been all weekend as this sand just starts to dry out probably into a a powder now compared to the
20:21heavy sticky stodge that we had over the course of the last couple of days still going to be heavy
20:26in some places like here three-way battle ensuing now for fifth
20:39the land tries to go the long way around launches long into the breaking bumps tries to create a new
20:44line anything to find his way past the belgian see how hard the dirt is through that right hander
20:53back in bouncing around all over the place on the cow there is he just got on the gas
21:13he was just putting a gap between himself and valand at the moment kunan still 1.6 ahead of latter
21:20as he continues to leave the race mcclellan just over a second behind the italian in third
21:28lagerfelder probably just happy to be on the podium this weekend
21:30no real threat coming from him at the moment in fourth on the red bull ktm 2.3 seconds behind
21:36mcclellan on the triumph and then these two 12 and a half seconds further back
21:42fifth sixth and raceless just behind janice raceless in seventh place
21:49cashmakers closing in as well on the number 33 so two kawasaki's in this quartet of riders
21:59there he is in the blue
22:02going to be the fourth rider in shot any moment now there he is top of the screen
22:07and then karlis raceless in there as well
22:16kunan opens up his lead back out to more than two seconds though
22:20as he heads down towards the line camden mcclellan
22:25six laps complete nothing in it between him and valerio latter half a second or thereabouts
22:31simon langenfelder looking interested in the background all of a sudden
22:38latter eighth in race one for honda hrc petronas started eight got up to seventh
22:44on lap what four five stayed there till six laps to go when sasha kunan came by him
22:54one thing captain mcclellan doesn't need is to stay behind latter too long
22:58especially if the italian starts to fade here because that will draw langenfelder into the mix
23:04and he's in a direct fight for the championship lead with the defending champion is the number eight
23:13langenfelder will stay in red as we head to switzerland a week from now if things stay as they are
23:18as we head to switzerland a week from now when sasha kunan is just at the top of the screen
23:35stretching his lead out to 3.7 seconds
23:44we'll get another update here
23:483.3 now, as Lata being pushed by Camden McClellan.
23:58Again, jumping long, Camden McClellan.
24:02Tries a wider line, a bit more momentum.
24:05Brings him right back onto the rear.
24:07Oh, he's got that nice through there, hasn't he?
24:08Good momentum.
24:12But just not able to find a way past the Italian.
24:24Pass him.
24:25He's thinking, what do you think I'm trying to do, guys?
24:30Not here on a weekend jolly, eating roost just for the sake of it.
24:40The good news is for McClellan and Lata, Langenfeld are not closing at the moment.
24:46Still about 2.3 seconds adrift.
24:48That's a good news is for McClellan.
24:57Again, how much did Ferez and McClellan put into that first race?
25:03Both desperate to win.
25:09and when you think that when the checkered flag fell they were nearly 12 seconds clear
25:14of simon langenfelder that is a decent shift at the office and takes them do it as well
25:21takes it out of you then a couple hours later you've got to line up do it again
25:27hoping your recovery went well
25:34mcclellan here frustrated by the 18
25:38not able to find a way through he may find something here though he'll jump long so too
25:42will latter but latter will squeeze him at the end of the straight so mcclellan says okay
25:46i'll go wide see if i can get around this outside again
25:56still to no avail
26:00honda and triumph look on
26:07yeah langenfelder now almost three and a half seconds behind this battle for second position
26:17that market needs to be alert clearly isn't
26:22now he is
26:27cost mcclellan a little bit of time got it all to do again all of a sudden one and a
26:32half seconds the gap between him
26:41ferez out of the race on lap three with a technical issue pretty much immediately out of the start did
26:49a lap came in
27:00no sense riding around if you're stuck in gear let's say no point riding around here stuck in one gear
27:08when you need to be hooking gears save the engine
27:20seymour langenfelder has been steady and sturdy this weekend
27:26third in race one fourth in race two given third overall as it stands at the moment
27:32he'll continue to lead the championship by a point over camden mcclellan
27:39who at the moment is looking at the top step of the podium on 42 points
27:42three clear of sasha kunan who can't take any more points he's the race leader
27:4725 points the maximum at the moment going to the belgian
27:53but the gap between first second and third back to less than three seconds
27:57and there is kunan
27:59on the 19
28:02no one that might just prick the ears up
28:05at mcclellan
28:06because now he can see the leader there
28:09might just give him that little extra incentive
28:13to not only go for a gp win but also with a race win in the second race as well
28:29and traffic for kunan
28:33in his line of sight as we come through this long sweeping lift
28:38takes us back downhill here into turn eight
28:44two and a half seconds now separate the top three
28:53traffic now for valerio lata
28:56tries to get creative that's going to cost him time
28:58that'll play into the hands of mcclellan
29:01who forces his way down the inside of the back market
29:03gets right back onto the rear wheel of valerio lata
29:19just under 11 minutes plus two to go
29:21in this second race
29:3410 laps complete race one was 18 laps
29:49longer on the gas later on the brakes it's a turn two
29:53mcclellan
29:56dancing around on that outside
29:59likes that slingshot
30:07and kunan
30:07making a break for it again all of a sudden

30:58he just wants to go after that race win
31:17and he's already started to get the italian
31:19langenfelder another six seconds further back but
31:23he might perk up sooner or later in the next eight and a half minutes
31:30plus two laps keep going 20 minutes
31:36that's race distance not what's left because we've got eight just under eight
31:40and a half minutes plus the two laps that two laps would be
31:43just under another four minutes
31:53langenfelder on 96 sorry camden mcclellan on 96 langenfelder on 95

33:16right
33:16right valand and racialists have found their way past evarts
33:19evarts
33:20evarts now down to seventh
33:23as mcclellan goes after kuden
33:28this is racialist going after evarts
33:30down the inside
33:32got big air
33:34squeezed him
33:36both went either side of the back marker and then this is mcclellan finding his way past valerio later for
33:41the lead
33:42latter thought he was going to come around the outside try to control it mcclellan switch back to the inside
33:49took over that second
33:52the emotions tell all the stories there don't they
33:59right challenge for the lead
34:09a slow
34:11labouring exit from the turn
34:13for sasha coonan
34:15and camden mcclellan
34:17hooks another gear
34:18breezes past the red bull ktm
34:20takes over the lead
34:22two positions in two laps for the number eight
34:31standout performance so far for the triumph rider
34:41we asked the question in our behind the gate episode
34:48recently surely triumph are close to a grand prix victory we can't count the chickens
34:54before the hatch but as it stands right now
34:57a 2-1 47 points the top step will
35:01with five minutes plus two laps to go belong to camden mcclellan
35:04for the first time in his career
35:07he goes wide for that momentum but look how
35:10coonan just got bogged down too late then couldn't recover
35:14mcclellan breezes on by
35:22even lisa was impressed look never bad an eyelid
35:30nearly three seconds the gap now between mcclellan and sasha coonan who is just in a world of his
35:35he's in the zone now the race leader
35:39coonan like is on rails he's definitely found the spot today
35:45the zone
35:50raceless here in sixth position
35:52the montrenny yamaha rider has gapped efforts
35:55to the tune of about three and a half seconds
35:59he's got a six in race one currently six here in race two
36:13fifth in race one wasn't he six in race two
36:22but a bright start for his mx2 career he'll leave it at the moment six in the championship standings
36:31which is where he was at the start of the weekend
36:38three and a half minutes plus two laps to go liam everts here
36:43and carlos raceless it's in a raceless sandwich
36:57untidy there for the 47
37:04mcclellan meanwhile 3.4 seconds clear
37:07of sasha coonan 14 laps complete later another 3.6 further back
37:12then langenfelder 5.3 adrift he's looking at the second step of the podium
37:17langenfelder sasha coonan third
37:2147 38 36 mcclellan langenfelder coonan
37:254.4 at the third step of the podium
37:36did it find the flow in the first race
37:39the first race
37:39sasha coonan
37:41who's looking good
37:42in race two leading the way until lap 11
37:49lap 12 when mcclellan found his way past
37:55from there just seems like sasha kunin just trying to do everything right just tick the boxes
38:05hit his marks try not to make any mistakes see where he ends up
38:23here's latter still there in third place at the moment
38:32he's had a second and a couple of thirds in his mx2 career so far
38:49a couple of podiums
38:56so despite what happened in race one where he was just eighth place
39:04bounces back
39:07the third at the moment still got almost five seconds over simon langenfelder here on the number
39:14one rebel ktm
39:17mcclellan will move to 99 points at the top of the championship langenfelder on 95 points ferez
39:27on 80 stays in third because of that pass that mcclellan put on sasha kunan
39:34kunan now on 78 in fourth one clear of matis valand
39:40there's a whole dogfight for positions there kunan 78 valand 77 racialists 75 evans 74
39:48takes us down to seventh position
39:53with switzerland up next a week from now at fraunfeld
40:01about 35 minutes from zurich
40:11challenging track even langenfelder struggling to get the grips with it all
40:17two lap board getting ready for camden mcclellan
40:2416 laps in the books was there a shake of the head there
40:33this was mcclellan from the drone finding his way past sasha kunan
40:50as he goes into the penultimate lap mcclellan now four seconds clear of sasha kunan who has six in
40:57hand over latter langenfelder might try a cheeky on the final couple of laps he's got the gap down to
41:03three seconds he was quicker than the italian last time around
41:10every point counts
41:28maxine grove to the outside there mcclellan lapping up to 15th evans
41:33still being hunted and hounded down by the 47 of carlis racialists
41:38these two now fighting over seventh place
41:42janus raceless in sixth about another five seconds in fact there he is out of sight
41:55good ride for julius mcclellan haven't seen too much of him in 10th place for the number 20.
42:03the check rider big crash yesterday on the osichka ktm
42:1512th in race one
42:1810th in race two
42:23and we are already on the final lap
42:32mcclellan
42:35and what the first four riders already on their way home
42:43as evans deals as evans deals with the threat from behind that is the older racialists
42:52but how cool has camden mcclellan been this weekend
42:59qualifying race he was second to sasha kunan second to his teammate gian ferez and a triumph one-two
43:07two in the first race put himself in a great position for a podium at the very least a grand
43:15prix victory at the very most didn't make the best start
43:20langenfelder has found his way past valerio latter still got some work to do
43:26but the german alongside the italian who's fighting back tries to squeeze him he gets squeezed out
43:32instead lagerfelder out to work for that third place and then he runs off track
43:44a couple valuable championship points back for the german
43:50but about six seconds further up the track camden mcclellan triumph racing mx2 factory team
43:58he's going to round out the final couple of corners he's going to take his second career race win

50:33With Yamaha there in third, ten manufacturers in MX2 in 2026, look.
50:43Take a look at the foxhole shot.
50:52It was Langenfelder, but then he ran out of room.
50:56Sacha Kunin passed him by the time we got to turn two.
50:59Victor Munoz, the fox dealer there, handing Simon Langenfelder his 36th career black plate.
51:06His last was Darwin race one last year.
51:10First of the year though, he'll go to the top of the championship.

54:30Hands the Championship Leader's red plate.
54:32To Camden McClellan.

54:42Big sigh of relief.
54:45National anthem time.
54:47For Camden McClellan.
54:53That's it for Camden McClellan.
56:13An incredible race two.
56:20The second MX2 race here in Andalusia, over on the right-hand side, gate number two, Guillem
56:26Perez already struggling.
56:27The race one winner would be down and out almost immediately.
56:32Simon Langenfelder grabbed the foxhole shot, but by the time he got to turn two, Sacha Kuna
56:36took over the lead.
56:37Camden McClellan was in the mix as well.
56:39Second.
56:40We lost a couple of positions early on to Valerio Latta.
56:45As we came through the first couple of corners here, got pushed back to third.
56:49Langenfelder all over the back of him at that point.
56:51Perez came in, but only lasted another lap before he was told to pull in.
56:57heartbreak for him and the fans that supported him every step of the way in race one.
57:01Valin charged down the inside of Everts as he went after a top five and he got himself
57:06into fifth.
57:09Everts decided to lose positions.
57:11Raceless went by.
57:12Giannis Raceless, that is.
57:15And then Raceless even went after Valin for that fifth place.
57:19Valin came home in sixth, Everts seventh.
57:21This was the challenge that McClellan put on Latta to move into second.
57:30And then this move on Kuna to take over the lead where he stayed till the end of the race.
57:36Camden McClellan, his first win of the season, his first Grand Prix victory, and the first
57:42overall Grand Prix victory for triumph on what has been a massive weekend for the team.
58:07So we'll go down and talk to the winners in a moment as they make their way down from the
58:14podium.

58:58And you have that red plate.
59:00Yeah, what a feeling.
59:01I mean, like you said, growing from strength to strength.
59:04And this has been a long time coming since the race went in Arco last year.

59:24And just happy.
59:25Thank you, everyone.
59:26Enjoy this moment.
59:27Thanks, Camden.
