00:47these guys are 1-2 at the point, they come out and execute
00:50that's why they're up front.
00:52Webb is 7th, Roxen is 12th
00:55let's see if the split line works for Tomek
00:58as Prado is giving Lawrence a run right now
01:01I don't want to break up past history
01:03but there was some comments made by Hunter Lawrence
01:07and how he raced Jorge Prado the last race
01:10and so I don't think that's that well with Jorge
01:12so I don't think he'll try to do anything
01:13but I would be surprised if he runs that front end in there
01:17Jorge that is
01:18yes, Hunter felt that Jorge made it very easy on Tomek
01:22and very difficult on him to make passes
01:24but the opposite right there
01:26and Hunter said I'll give him some body English next time
01:30if that's what it takes
01:31and then Prado responded on Instagram and said
01:34I wasn't even doing it on purpose
01:36I can give you body Spanish if you want
01:40so far Hunter's getting away from that
01:43it's going to be a tough position for Eli
01:45I think the path to be here
01:47once Jorge recognizes that it's his teammate
01:50probably opened that door for him
01:52but Eli's got to be closer
01:53how does he play it
01:54not well enough for Tomek on that inside
01:58starting to see that 96 get away

02:04you saw Jorge take a look over there
02:07now he's going to realize that that's Eli
02:09the toughest part was he wouldn't have known
02:11that Eli was quite there yet
02:12so I don't think he'll put in much of a fight here
02:14and that's the benefit of having a teammate
02:17and it's a luxury that Hunter Lawrence does not have right now
02:20with the starting prowess of Prado
02:22you have to think that's going to be a factor down the stretch
02:24and it has also allowed Cooper Webb to jump into the fight here JT
02:28from 7th to 4th and right with Tomek
02:32yeah this is going to be tough for Eli
02:34especially if these other guys get into it
02:36we saw in the past sometimes when you get in front of Eli
02:38sometimes it messes up his focus and his rhythm
02:42so he's got to get it
02:43he's made a few mistakes
02:44now the 96 is almost 3 seconds over him
02:47you've got to worry but it's a long race Jason

02:52as is Justin Cooper
02:53pressing towback
02:55and Roxen made some passes
02:56closing up on these guys so

03:18people you might see Jorge is blocking
03:20but he's not holding up Eli

03:25but I think it messed his rhythm up

03:38but Prado's holding his own now
03:40and everyone has decided
03:42inside outside is the way through the split lane

03:46that start was so key for Eli Tomac

03:49and I spoke to crew chief Carlos Rivera right before
03:52and asked was there any consideration
03:53in going for the outside gate
03:55they did actually look at it
03:56but the condition of it he said
03:58was so bad that they decided to
03:59stay inside their better condition
04:01and to your point
04:02they can rely on their starts
04:04more than they used to be able to
04:06he's been doing really well with them
04:08and they reflecting back on Indy
04:09the three triple crown races
04:11then there were two solid starts
04:12out of that
04:13they put a lot of work into it
04:14before Daytona
04:15so to be able to take that
04:16far inside gate pick
04:17and rely on a good jump is important
04:20thank you Will
04:21but how about Prado here
04:22who went in that section
04:23they just went through
04:24over the bars
04:25with a huge crash earlier
04:27in qualifying
04:28and here he is
04:29rebounding running second in the main
04:31yeah Prada's in a tough spot now

04:37to where Jorge would really have to lay up

04:41so still trying to race

08:15you actually did nothing

08:16and he went back
08:17to Motor Course of Nations
08:19which is in early October
08:20so he said he took that time
08:22it was much of a physical reset
08:24really as it was a mental one

08:27it's working for him
08:27because he looks fresh out there

08:34closing that gap
08:35what's important for Hunter
08:36when you see a guy that's coming

08:41of perfect execution
