00:00:00Thank you very much.
00:00:38Hello, everybody. Welcome back to Fraunfeld, round three of the FIA Motocross World Championship.
00:00:42The MXGP of Switzerland presented by IXS.
00:00:45The final race of the weekend, MXGP race two coming up.
00:00:49Since we started coming back here in 2016, Antonio Cairoli, Maxime Renault, Tim Geiss are all winners.
00:00:54Lucas Koonen was victorious here in MXGP last year.
00:00:57Geoffrey Hurlings, the only two-time winner, neither Hurlings, who was victorious in 17 and 18,
00:01:02or Koonen, who was victorious here last year, will feature on the top step of the podium here this weekend.
00:01:06You'll see why from the highlights in a moment, but who will it be that stands on the top step
00:01:11of the podium?
00:01:11Tom Biel, Maxime Renault, Riven Fernandes, Romer Favre, Kaido Wolf all have an opportunity to do just that
00:01:17as the atmosphere builds for the final race of the weekend.
00:01:241,530 metres long.
00:01:27Just under a mile, 0.950.
00:01:30Sun coming out above this hillside circuit now.
00:01:36MXGP riders out on their sighting lap ahead of their second race, their final race of the weekend.
00:01:45Circuit conditions, possibly a little bit better, although we just did hear in the interviews a moment ago
00:01:49how difficult it was to pass now that it's been groomed here and there, and those lines are really starting
00:01:55to form again, but
00:01:56want to get through, you're probably going to have to get those elbows out.
00:01:59That might be the order of the race in this final outing.
00:02:03Just over 440 metres above sea level, it's hard, it's stony underneath, it's tacky, very sticky, those ruts are starting
00:02:12to come back thick and fast as well.
00:02:16So it's really going to be a challenging second race here.
00:02:19Flares, fireworks, chainsaws, air horns, flags, enthusiastic Swiss fans, plus from other nations as well.
00:02:29They've braved the conditions.
00:02:30Will they get to see the best race of the weekend here in race two?
00:02:36If you weren't with us earlier, here's what happened in a very chaotic first MXGP race.
00:02:46MXGP race one, Lucas Coonan grabbed the foxhole shot.
00:02:50He was just up the inside.
00:02:54Tom Vial snuck by him immediately, though.
00:02:58Honda HRC, Petronas behind them.
00:03:01Max and Renault, Geoffrey Hurlings, but watch it up here.
00:03:06At the end of this next straight, Vial tucked to the inside, so too did Hurlings in the range sight
00:03:13to come.
00:03:14Coonan went to the next route and then just here, chain snagged off the sprocket.
00:03:20Track crew, marshals, helped him get the chain back on.
00:03:22He went back out, got back to 11th, but was already quite early disqualified for outside assistance.
00:03:29Even making mistakes like this didn't stop him from getting to just outside the top 10.
00:03:33Same corner, Geoffrey Hurlings.
00:03:34Now, if you remember MXGP race one, Matthias van Aert also had the same problem.
00:03:40Same corner, same rut.
00:03:41Andrea Adamo, who we just saw going by there, he also would fall foul to that rut.
00:03:46As Roman Verva fell from second at the halfway point.
00:03:50He ended up coming home in fourth place.
00:03:54That's Adamo. Adamo, though, managed to get his chain back on, and he, despite dropping from sixth down to 14th,
00:04:01was credited with 13th once Coonan was thrown out of the results.
00:04:05Race one belonged to Tom Viale's first win in MXGP's 45th career world championship victory from Renault and Fernandes.
00:04:11Fevra and Dwarf rounded out the top five.
00:04:17Oh, the noise, the noise, the noise.
00:04:19Where have you been all weekend long?
00:04:21You've finally got up and woken up, got yourselves out of bed.
00:04:25Let's go down to Lisa.
00:04:26She caught up with Lucas Coonan.
00:04:28Before that, Alberto Ferrato.
00:04:31Okay, we are almost ready for the final race of the day with the MXGP boys, but I want to
00:04:36grab a few words with Albi Ferrato, just because we haven't spoken to him yet this year, just because it's
00:04:40been quite a big change for you in the off-season, Albi.
00:04:43New team, new bike.
00:04:44How's that all been for you?
00:04:45How's the transition been?
00:04:47Yeah, basically new everything.
00:04:49So this winter I changed everything, country, bike, team.
00:04:53So, yeah, a lot to work.
00:04:55We were trying to go step by step, better and better.
00:04:58It's what we are doing right now.
00:04:59So everything's going good and smooth.
00:05:01Just keep the ball rolling.
00:05:03Tell me about that first race.
00:05:05How was it from your seat?
00:05:06It was okay.
00:05:07You know, it was a bit like tricky.
00:05:09Track was tricky and a bit sketchy.
00:05:11I finished up in P6, so it was good for me.
00:05:13Not a good start.
00:05:14Let's try to get a better start now and go for better.
00:05:17Nice chat in chief.
00:05:18Best of luck.
00:05:18Thank you, Albi.
00:05:20Now, this racetrack here in Fraunfeld really caught a few riders out.
00:05:24Lucas Coonan from Red Bull Factory MXGP Racing was one of them.
00:05:28Not the only one, but that was a tough first race for you, Lucas.
00:05:31You kept on riding around, knowing you wouldn't score any points.
00:05:35What was the reason behind that?
00:05:37I mean, overall, if I can be honest, it's really cool because they have a black flag.
00:05:42They could have raised me a black flag, but nobody wears something.
00:05:44So I think it's not really good what they chose to do because in case I was ready to stop,
00:05:50you know,
00:05:51I didn't want to touch the bike, but the other guys touched it in case, so I couldn't really do
00:05:55nothing.
00:05:56But it's a risk for nothing.
00:05:57I mean, I was just riding out there.
00:05:59I was thinking everything was fine, but they didn't black flag me or something.
00:06:02So it's kind of, I'm quite angry, but I mean, we have a second moto and we try to do
00:06:07our best.
00:06:07I can't really change the first result.
00:06:09They do what they want with it.
00:06:10But yeah, it's a bummer because I came back to 11, I think, but we try to forget it and
00:06:14try to get the same start
00:06:15and then just get some good laughs and try to enjoy it.
00:06:18Best luck for this race.
00:06:19Thank you, Lucas Kuhnen there.
00:06:21Okay, good luck to the guys.
00:06:22We're time for the final race of the day, MXGP race two.
00:06:27I'll pick up on that in a moment.
00:06:29Let's have a quick look at the calendar then.
00:06:30We obviously, two rounds down, three by the time we leave Fraunfeld here in Switzerland.
00:06:35We will have a weekend off.
00:06:36We go to Sardinia and then Trentino next.
00:06:40We get a month off before we head to France, Germany, Latvia, week off.
00:06:43Italy, Portugal, straight on a plane to South Africa, week off.
00:06:47Fox Hills, Great Britain, a return to the fantastic hillside circuit in the UK.
00:06:53Locket and Belgium follow as well with the MXGP of Flanders.
00:06:56Get a week off, two in a row there, Sweden and the Netherlands,
00:06:59and then three in a row, Turkey, China, Australia,
00:07:01and then, of course, Monster Energy, FIA, Motocross Nations.
00:07:04Erne, 4th of October.
00:07:06If you want any information, MXGP.com.
00:07:09The calendar is on the home page.
00:07:10You can select the event, select tickets, options, all the rest of it, directions.
00:07:15Find your way around the website very, very easily.
00:07:18But, yeah, Lucas Coonan, as we see the start list,
00:07:20how they qualified from Saturday with Jeffrey Herlings on pole.
00:07:23Lucas Coonan second.
00:07:25Got a point there, hasn't he, Lucas Coonan?
00:07:26Because if you're disqualified, there's no point in being out.
00:07:29Yeah, the team could have told him to pull in,
00:07:30but at the same time, and, you know, he mentioned it there.
00:07:34Would a black flag been valid with a board, you know?
00:07:37Because the longer you stay out there,
00:07:39the more you run the risk of, you know, doing further damage or whatever else.
00:07:42So, understand why he's a little bit miffed,
00:07:44but at the same time, he's also shown that he's got the speed,
00:07:48he's got the pace, and if he gets a good start here,
00:07:50even if he doesn't get a good start here,
00:07:52he knows from that first race, mentally,
00:07:53he has exactly what he needs to go to the front.
00:07:57We'll be talking to him at the end of the race.
00:08:00Who knows?
00:08:01Maxime Renault, second in race one.
00:08:03Montrenti Yamaha rider, starting around about 4th or 5th,
00:08:07found his way past Jeffrey Herlings when he had his issues on lap 6,
00:08:10and then Roman Fevre when he fell.
00:08:14Renault coming home second.
00:08:16Lucas Coonan, big red five.
00:08:19Dequeued for outside assistance, as we already heard.
00:08:23But he has got pace as the Red Bull KTM rider.
00:08:30So, too.
00:08:32Jeffrey Herlings with a bit of pace as well.
00:08:34He was just starting to reel in his teammate Tom Biel
00:08:37when he had his issues.
00:08:40Can he rectify that?
00:08:42Will it be Coonan rectifying it?
00:08:44Tom Biel had a nightmare day on Saturday.
00:08:48He bounces back with a race win on Sunday.
00:08:51Talk about just leaving yesterday in the past.
00:08:55His first win in MXGP, his 45th career victory.
00:08:58Can he add to that here?
00:08:59Get his first victory around this Swiss circuit.
00:09:02His first GP victory as well since his return.
00:09:05He was third overall in Argentina.
00:09:07Missed the podium in Spain with sixth overall.
00:09:10So, he'll be hoping to at least be on the podium here
00:09:13after his performance in race one.
00:09:14A lot of it is going to come down to the start.
00:09:16He's got 18th pick anyway,
00:09:18so he's already going to be down there towards the middle,
00:09:20just in front of the podium area.
00:09:22Race one, as soon as he got over the gate,
00:09:24he knew he'd got clear air.
00:09:25He was already looking to the right.
00:09:26He was coming across everybody else.
00:09:27Used the bank on the outside just to slingshot his way past Coonan.
00:09:33But it was Coonan who bagged the foxhole shot.
00:09:38Just like MX2, five races down, heading into race two,
00:09:42five different hole shotters for the season.
00:09:45Fly race in 15 seconds, brought up for the final time this weekend.
00:09:49MXGP of Switzerland, presented by IXS.
00:09:53Hurlings, Coonan, DeWolf, Fevre, Jonas, Geisser.
00:09:58They're the lead gates on the inside.
00:10:01Oh, who tried to go too early?
00:10:07Looked like the gate tried to move.
00:10:09We've got a wheel in there, but that, two wheels there,
00:10:12but that's not going to stop the whole gate going down.
00:10:15See, just to the left, some gates have half dropped.
00:10:18And this is bizarre,
00:10:19because they do so many tests with the start gates here.
00:10:23On MXGP weekend, at the end of the day, the next day,
00:10:27before the warm-ups, in between, during the breaks,
00:10:29constantly checking and testing and everything else like that.
00:10:32So, they'll try to drop the gates, rebuild them.
00:10:36And then we go again.
00:10:43So, will they just let the riders sit there, do the test,
00:10:46or are they going to send them back to the waiting zone
00:10:48and tell them to come back out?
00:10:53Top of your screen, next to the box there, a few gates went,
00:11:02but then they didn't drop any further than that.
00:11:04And obviously, riders then, because they saw the movement,
00:11:08they all plowed into them, but none of the others moved.
00:11:09So, a bit of a start gate malfunction, unfortunately, here.
00:11:14And the worst thing about that situation as a rider,
00:11:17you've already gone through your routine, your nerves,
00:11:19you're absolutely heightened with your senses.
00:11:23Now you've got to refocus, bring yourself back down,
00:11:27build yourself back up before you go again.
00:11:33Some riders have pulled themselves off the gate.
00:11:37Some have just decided to sit there.
00:11:39So, I'm not sure exactly what the protocol is here.
00:11:44Chilly as well, temperature just starting to drop.
00:11:52Just making sure everything is working okay.
00:11:55Obviously, conditions with rain and sticky mud
00:11:57and all the rest of it, hopefully,
00:12:01if we just get all the gates repositioned,
00:12:05do a drop, pick them back up, and we go.
00:12:11But this Swiss GP, one of the longest-serving Grand Prix
00:12:16on the calendar, 1957, the first ever edition
00:12:24from 57 to 61.
00:12:25It was only 500 Grand Prix riders that ever raced here.
00:12:28From 62 to 2001, the Swiss Grand Prix ran every year,
00:12:32either in 125, 250, or 500.
00:12:34MX3 ran near a handful of times, 2005, 6, 7, 8, and 10.
00:12:39We've only ever had two Swiss winners, unbelievably.
00:12:42Mark Restore, 2006, MX3 at Roggenberg, riding a Honda.
00:12:46Julian Bill, also in MX3.
00:12:50That was in 2010 in Geneva.
00:12:52That was a great circuit on the side of the hill as well.
00:12:55Very fast-flowing, all the rest of it.
00:12:57We've now had 98 winners of this Grand Prix
00:12:59with the winner from MX2 just a moment ago.
00:13:02But it's Yamaha who have the most wins with 19.
00:13:08KTM have 50.
00:13:09Unbelievably, we've got 17 different manufacturers
00:13:12that have won a Grand Prix around a Swiss GP.
00:13:20Start gate test coming up now.
00:13:24Mr. Ingo Parch, FIM race director,
00:13:27getting himself into a position
00:13:28where he can see everything cleanly, evenly, and fairly.
00:13:36There we go.
00:13:36That's perfect.
00:13:37Just about to see all the gates.
00:13:39Yeah.
00:13:40Okay, one or two slow ones over there,
00:13:41but at least the gate dropped.
00:13:44Let's put them back up.
00:13:45Rack them up.
00:13:46Let's go again.
00:13:48Hurlings, the only two-time winner in Fraunfeld,
00:13:502017-2018.
00:13:55Other winners include Tony Cairoli back in 2016 on a KTM.
00:13:59He went 1-5 that day to Tim Geiss's 9-1
00:14:02and Roman Fevre, who was 8th and 2nd.
00:14:04There he is, just pulling back out of shot.
00:14:06When Hurlings won in 2017,
00:14:09Gauthier Paul and Antonio Cairoli
00:14:11joined him on the podium.
00:14:12And when he won in 2018, it was Fevre and De Salle.
00:14:15De Salle, now part of the Triumph program, of course.
00:14:20Here's how the championship looks at the moment.
00:14:22Heading into race two.
00:14:24Tom Biel back on top.
00:14:26Start of the weekend.
00:14:273rd overall, 13 off the lead.
00:14:31But with the problems of Lucas Coonan and Jeffrey Hurlings
00:14:35finds himself leapfrogging both.
00:14:37Coonan on 1.11, Hurlings on 1.04.
00:14:39Hurlings went to the top briefly before he had his issues.
00:14:42So Honda HRC Petronas back in red, metaphorically for now.
00:14:47That won't happen until we get to the end of this race.
00:14:49Lucas Coonan could still lead the championship,
00:14:52maybe even Hurlings, who knows.
00:14:54But this next 30-minute plus two-lap race
00:14:56will determine the outcome of not only the Grand Prix,
00:14:58but maybe even the championship leader as well,
00:15:00who has the red plate heading to Rio de Sado
00:15:03two weekends from now.
00:15:09Maxim Reneau was the winner here in 2023 in Emacs GP.
00:15:13Edging out Jorge Prado and Romain Fevre.
00:15:16Tim Geiser in 2024.
00:15:17There's Jeremy Siwa.
00:15:19He was on the podium here last year.
00:15:207-3 through Ducati.
00:15:22Behind Lucas Coonan, 1-1.
00:15:23Romain Fevre, 6-2.
00:15:25But Tim Geiser, victorious in 2024.
00:15:271-1.
00:15:28Jeffrey Hurlings, 2-2.
00:15:29Jorge Prado, 3-3.
00:15:30The only time.
00:15:311-1, 2-2, 3-3.
00:15:32Featured in the overall classification
00:15:36of this Grand Prix.
00:15:38In either,
00:15:40well, in the MXGP class,
00:15:42because in 2016,
00:15:42when Max Anstey beat Siwa and Pacerell,
00:15:45that was 1-1, 2-2, 3-3 as well.
00:15:52Background info done, taken care of.
00:15:54Bikes fired back into life.
00:15:58Green flag.
00:16:00Fly Racing, 15-second board.
00:16:01For the final time.
00:16:04Here, in Switzerland.
00:16:17A rider not lining up.
00:16:19Brett Vandonick.
00:16:20Twisted ankle from race 1.
00:16:22Gates drop here in race 2.
00:16:24A clean getaway.
00:16:26Fevra to the inside.
00:16:27So, too, Lucas Coonan.
00:16:30And it's Coonan, once again.
00:16:32The first rider to go back-to-back.
00:16:35Two black plates in 2026 in MXGP.
00:16:40Hurlings around the outside.
00:16:42Oh, Coonan looked across.
00:16:44Saw him there.
00:16:45Saw the threat.
00:16:47Coonan, it is who leads.
00:16:48Hurlings second.
00:16:49And it would have to be, wouldn't it?
00:16:50The two riders that went out in that corner there in race 1.
00:16:56Firestone second in the race.
00:16:58Hurlings didn't have a reply to the Belgian in both races in the sand a week ago in Andalusia.
00:17:03What will he have for the Belgian?
00:17:05What will the Belgian have for the Dutchman?
00:17:07Two Kawasaki's there.
00:17:08Third and fourth.
00:17:09Fevra and Jonas.
00:17:10Jonas got well and truly cleaned up.
00:17:12Oh, he's just jabbed his back brake there.
00:17:14Dirt under the back brake pedal.
00:17:15That allows Geiser to sneak on by into fourth position.
00:17:21Jonas continues to look down.
00:17:24Jonas has got issues here.
00:17:26Because Fernand...
00:17:26Oh!
00:17:29Heartbreak for the 41.
00:17:30He pulls off the side of the track.
00:17:33Jonas is out on the opening lap.
00:17:43Just limping away there in the background.
00:17:46Definitely got an issue.
00:17:47Looking down.
00:17:48Jonas out.
00:17:49Meanwhile, Fernandes up the inside of Geiser having a cheeky stab at his former teammate for fourth place in that
00:17:56right-hand room open to go.
00:17:58Geiser holding firm, though, on that Yamaha.
00:18:04Kunin, Herlings, Fevra, Geiser, Fernandes, De Wolf, Fulandre, Renault, Adamo, Siwa in 10th place.
00:18:13But look at Lucas Kunin getting his head down, getting on with the job.
00:18:19He's going to hit the line any moment now.
00:18:22Lucas Kunin, 1.46, 9.48.
00:18:25And the gap between him and Herlings already, 2.8 seconds.
00:18:29Fevra, third, Geiser, fourth, De Wolf, Fernandes, Volandre, Renault, Adamo, Siwa, 10, Noah Ludwig, 11, Panzer is 12.
00:18:37Then we've got Oliver, Ferrato, Biel, Horgmo, Ikel, Tonus, Adamo, Steichen, Kirt, Tom Biel in 15th position.
00:18:45Your winner from race one.
00:18:46Nightmare start for him.
00:18:50A lot of work to do.
00:18:51It's not even going to feature on the podium as it stands right now.
00:18:54I know it's early days.
00:19:02Here's De Wolf.
00:19:04And Starnhurst-Varnert circulating in fifth at the moment.
00:19:08Rupert Fernandes right there.
00:19:11Maybe it was De Wolf that Fernandes was having a cheeky look at earlier.
00:19:15Apologies if that was the case.
00:19:25Circuit.
00:19:26A little bit more tacky than it was in race one.
00:19:31But there were deep ruts there.
00:19:33Oh, you see there, Fernandes also hit neutral.
00:19:36That knocked into neutral as he dropped down the hill.
00:19:39That's brought Calvin Volandren into play.
00:19:40And also the 959 of Maxime Renault just behind the number 10.
00:19:47They're going to go bar to bar.
00:19:48Not quite because Renault just got bounced off a couple of holes there.
00:19:53Just gave Volandren enough clear space to close down the door into the next right-hander.
00:19:58But then he goes too defensive.
00:20:00Renault ran the outside.
00:20:01Takes off that position.
00:20:02Moves into seventh.
00:20:08So the Red Bull Ducati.
00:20:10Now the chaser.
00:20:11Where's his teammate Siwa?
00:20:13He's in tenth position.
00:20:14No Bonacorsi again.
00:20:16Hopefully see him back in Rio de Sado.
00:20:21But another 1.46 lap time for your race leader.
00:20:25Extending his gap to 3.4 seconds over Hurlings.
00:20:30Fevre another couple of seconds further back.
00:20:31Then Geiser.
00:20:33Throw the flag out now.
00:20:35Roman Fevre goes and wins the GP with a 4-1.
00:20:38Maxime Renault, 36 with a 2-7.
00:20:41Fernandes, third with a 3-6.
00:20:47Then Vial, fourth.
00:20:48Vial, though, has a lot of traffic to try and carve his way through.
00:20:52He's already up to 12th place.
00:21:02So DeWolf here just warming himself up.
00:21:06Here's Vial through the waves on the 16.
00:21:09Your winner from race one has got Jeremy Siwa just ahead of him on the Red Bull Ducati.
00:21:18Turn nine, end of the long straight.
00:21:21Then they're going to peel through this next right-hander.
00:21:24Right, Vial is going to be centre of the gate here.
00:21:26Let's see what happened and why he wasn't able to execute.
00:21:28Another good start.
00:21:38Just gets buried in the mix.
00:21:45There he is, look, just in front of Ben Watson.
00:21:49And then gets held up on the exit there as well.
00:21:55Vial here, right in the centre of your screen, behind the yellow riders.
00:21:58Couldn't get across.
00:21:59He's got Volandran right there.
00:22:00And then watch what happens here into Jan Panza.
00:22:03And then Kevin Haugmo gets bumped around like a ping-bong machine.
00:22:11But Vial has found his way past Siwa.
00:22:16He moves up into 10th place.
00:22:19Going to be a long, hard slog from here for Vial.
00:22:24Here's how he did it just after pit lane.
00:22:25The left-hander.
00:22:27Sneaky line up the inside.
00:22:28Siwa didn't see it coming.
00:22:32Vial now 10.
00:22:36Oriol Oliver looking for a way past the Ducati as well.
00:22:40Siwa goes defensive.
00:22:41Oliver leans on him, picks him off.
00:22:44The KPL SS24 KTM rider moves up into 11th.
00:22:57We know Vial's got fitness.
00:22:58We know it's got pace.
00:22:59He enjoys riding these kind of tacky French-style dirt tracks.
00:23:04He was a winner in race one.
00:23:06Comfortably over Maxime Renault.
00:23:11He's got two seconds to make up to Andrea Adamo.
00:23:14Adamo just there ahead of him in baby blue.
00:23:18Vial goes high and wide.
00:23:20Wants to drop into...
00:23:22Well, he just keeps to the outside of those ruts.
00:23:24Lucas Kooner was nine seconds clear.
00:23:28It was now 8.3.
00:23:31He's had three fastest laps in a row.
00:23:331.46 is all of them.
00:23:36Is he on course for another one here?
00:23:37Well, he's got purple in sectors two and three.
00:23:39Over the line now.
00:23:40It was a 1.46.
00:23:414.3.
00:23:412.
00:23:41This time a 1.44.
00:23:437.5.
00:23:444.
00:23:46Absolutely blows the previous lap time apart.
00:23:49It is 8.3 seconds clear of Hurlings now.
00:23:51Who's not even on the same straight.
00:23:58And you'll see the gap there any moment now.
00:24:03There's Hurlings in second.
00:24:07Fevre third.
00:24:08Geisse fourth.
00:24:13Then a gap back to DeWolf.
00:24:15Nearly four seconds further back.
00:24:19Hurlings looks up.
00:24:21Sees daylight.
00:24:23More and more daylight.
00:24:24Ten seconds now, the gap between them and Kooner.
00:24:29Fevre still on top.
00:24:31In the Grand Prix on 38.
00:24:33Renault on 37.
00:24:34Vial 36.
00:24:35He's got himself on the podium at the moment
00:24:38as he claws his way into the top 10.
00:24:41Vial.
00:24:50Fevre will be kicking himself for the mistake that he made just after the halfway point in race one.
00:24:55What dropped him from second to fourth.
00:24:58How crucial are those points going to be for him?
00:25:00Not just in the Grand Prix.
00:25:02Because at the moment, he can win the Grand Prix.
00:25:05But those points could be crucial.
00:25:06Not just overall later on in the race, but also in the championship.
00:25:10Geisse getting warmed up here, the 2.43.
00:25:15Looking to go down the inside of Fevre.
00:25:17Not going to find a way through there, though.
00:25:23Oh, Vial has made a mistake.
00:25:26And Olivier has gone by.
00:25:27Turn 12.
00:25:28So just dropping off the wall into the right-hander.
00:25:31Here's how.
00:25:33He was going after Adamo.
00:25:35He's going to fold the front, isn't he?
00:25:37Back end got the wrong side of the run.
00:25:39Tell you what.
00:25:40MotoGP was in America this weekend.
00:25:43Got his knee down.
00:25:44That would have been impressive.
00:25:44But not here, not in Switzerland.
00:25:47Not when you're chasing a Grand Prix victory.
00:25:55So Vial out of 10.
00:25:59He'll hit the line this time around.
00:26:02Maybe just chasing too hard.
00:26:05He only lost one position.
00:26:09The old man there.
00:26:12Fred Vial.
00:26:13Thumbs up.
00:26:14Just saying, dude, just, you're OK.
00:26:17Don't worry about it.
00:26:19Still on the podium as well.
00:26:21On 35 points.
00:26:27Second, third, fourth in Schong.
00:26:30Hurlings, Fevre, Geisse.
00:26:3312 World Championships between them.
00:26:37Here's Renault.
00:26:38He's behind De Wolf.
00:26:44Get ready to go down to Michele Lovetti.
00:26:46Monster Energy Yamaha.
00:26:47Back to MXGP.
00:26:49Team manager.
00:26:50Checking on the progress of Maxim Renault and Tim Geisse.
00:26:53His two riders here in MXGP.
00:26:57Let's go down to Lisa now in Pit Lane with Michele Lovetti.
00:27:06Michele, we're just looking at Renault there.
00:27:08Currently P6.
00:27:09He had a solid first race, second place.
00:27:12He's pushing for his first podium of the year so far.
00:27:14How is he feeling?
00:27:15Yeah, I'm feeling really well.
00:27:17And, yeah, I make a super great first moto.
00:27:22And he started not really good in the second moto.
00:27:25But he was quick to pass.
00:27:27And he's P6 already.
00:27:29So it's still 80 minutes to go and plus two.
00:27:33So I think if he can be close to Kai, he have a chance to win the GP.
00:27:38Yes.
00:27:39And let's talk a little bit about Tim as well.
00:27:41How is he doing on the bike?
00:27:42Yeah.
00:27:43Also, Tim was struggling in the first moto.
00:27:46He tried to pass left and right the first lap.
00:27:49But he missed a few times.
00:27:51And he crashed too much.
00:27:53Actually, one time too much.
00:27:55And then he controlled to finish the moto.
00:27:58And now he makes a better start now.
00:28:01And it looks like he's faster than Romain.
00:28:06So I hope we can stay more close with the guys from the top, yes.
00:28:14Thank you, Michele.
00:28:17Two scenarios about to brew here regarding Michele Lovetti and Manchini's Yamaha.
00:28:23Romain Fevra is on 38.
00:28:24Maxime Renaud is on 37.
00:28:26Tim Geister finds his way past Romain.
00:28:29Takes the points away from him.
00:28:31Gives them, in theory, to Maxime to help him win the GP.
00:28:35And the other scenario is, as Geister just gets hung up in a turn right there.
00:28:39Renaud goes after DeWolf.
00:28:41But he's already seven seconds behind the Dutchman.
00:28:44That might change later in the race.
00:28:46Just because race fitness might come into play.
00:28:48Renaud now in his third round.
00:28:51And pre-season races.
00:28:52DeWolf not able to do that with that thumb injury.
00:28:56So will his fitness just drop off the charts a little bit later on?
00:28:59Who knows?
00:29:00But we're only one point separating the first two.
00:29:03Another point further behind.
00:29:04We've got Bial, who's now on 36 again.
00:29:07He's got himself back up to 10th with a move on Olivier.
00:29:10Going again after Andrea Adamo.
00:29:12Three and a half seconds behind the Italian.
00:29:14It's Tom Bial.
00:29:15Bial can still win this Grand Prix.
00:29:17And if he does, he's going to have to do it the hard way.
00:29:31It's starting to get deeper again, just as they were in race one,
00:29:34but not as deep.
00:29:37Lucas Coonan in a different zip code once again.
00:29:40Just as he was in Andalusia a week ago.
00:29:43Riding mad.
00:29:44Fired up.
00:29:46Lucas Coonan will go to the top of the championship again
00:29:48as it stands right now.
00:29:491.36.
00:29:50Herlings 1.26.
00:29:51Tom Bial 1.25.
00:29:53Renault 1.18.
00:29:54Federer 1.17.
00:29:56Geiser in sixth on 1.12.
00:30:06So the fact that Lucas Coonan,
00:30:08who arrived here eight points clear of Herlings,
00:30:1113 clear of Tom Bial,
00:30:12arrived here with the red plate,
00:30:13didn't score in race one.
00:30:14Bial took over the lead
00:30:16at the top of the championship.
00:30:19Coonan comes away with the championship leader's red plate.
00:30:21That'll be pretty impressive.
00:30:23He only went into race two,
00:30:24three behind the Frenchman.
00:30:26Covey Vellanren here.
00:30:28Red Bull Ducati.
00:30:29Just ahead of him is Ruben Fernandez.
00:30:32Fernandez on the HRC,
00:30:33on the HRC Petronas machine.
00:30:39Vellanren looking like he's got pace at the moment.
00:30:43Deep ruts.
00:30:44That little drop-off doesn't look a lot,
00:30:46but it's a lot steeper than you think.
00:30:47You don't want to come in there too quick
00:30:48because you can just easily
00:30:52tip through the front.
00:30:55And with the ruts there as well,
00:30:57just makes it extra tricky.
00:31:01Back marker.
00:31:05Doing his best.
00:31:07Hold a turn right,
00:31:08down pit lane.
00:31:09Vellanren hips up the inside,
00:31:11takes the position away from the Spaniard,
00:31:13moves into seven.
00:31:27Eight laps complete.
00:31:30Lucas Koonen,
00:31:3115 and a half seconds clear of hurlings.
00:31:32Fevera still breathing down the tailpipe
00:31:37of the bullet.
00:31:39Geiss are right there as well.
00:31:42Tell you what,
00:31:42a little bit of loss of adhesion there for
00:31:47Fernandez.
00:31:48He came into that left-hand turn.
00:31:50Front-hand washout.
00:31:54Geiss are
00:31:56showing Fevera
00:31:57his front fender.
00:32:01Desperate to find his way past
00:32:04second race in each of the first two rounds.
00:32:06Geiss has finished with a third-place finish.
00:32:09Can he do it again?
00:32:10Ah, Adamo,
00:32:12loss of 18 positions penalty
00:32:14for leaving the track
00:32:15and gaining an advantage.
00:32:16Did he gain 18 positions?
00:32:17Was that at the start?
00:32:2318 positions.
00:32:24That's definitely going to put him out of the points.
00:32:29As Geiss are menacing
00:32:32behind Fevera at the moment.
00:32:38Looking for momentum around the outside.
00:32:40Two lines almost come together.
00:32:42Again,
00:32:42tries to ruffle
00:32:44Fevera.
00:32:45The last time these two were this close,
00:32:46it ended in tears for Feveru.
00:32:48Ended up going
00:32:49through the top of the berm.
00:32:50Down hard.
00:32:53Landing on the ribs.
00:32:56The ground was a lot softer than it is here.
00:32:58A week ago in Andalusia.
00:33:08Geiss just had to run it into that next rut, didn't he?
00:33:11There's DeWolf in the background.
00:33:14DeWolf only three seconds adrift of Geiss are here.
00:33:17Here he is.
00:33:21Where's Vial?
00:33:22Vial's up to eighth now.
00:33:23He's found his way past Fernandes.
00:33:25And here's how he did it.
00:33:29Easy move in the end for the number 16.
00:33:31He is tied at the top
00:33:34of the podium at the moment.
00:33:3538.
00:33:36Him and Fevera.
00:33:45Back markers.
00:33:46Fevera doesn't know which way to go,
00:33:47nor do the back markers here.
00:33:53Local MCA riders
00:33:55doing their bit.
00:33:59Geiss gets around the outside of Fevera.
00:34:02Moves into that third place.
00:34:03That's going to hand Tom Vial
00:34:05the overall Grand Prix victory
00:34:06as it stands right now.
00:34:22Geiss are with clear track ahead of him.
00:34:24What can he do
00:34:26about hurlings?
00:34:28What's the gap going to be?
00:34:29Two seconds or thereabouts.
00:34:34Lucas Koonen.
00:34:38It's only a few hours drive
00:34:39back to Belgium.
00:34:40Seems like he's halfway there
00:34:40at the moment.
00:34:41His lead is that big.
00:34:45Erlings nearly 17 seconds
00:34:46behind the number five.
00:34:47Geiss are one and a half
00:34:48further back.
00:34:49Watch this here.
00:34:51Fevera getting caught
00:34:52with the back markers there.
00:34:54Geiss held his nerve.
00:34:58And then just here
00:34:59chase the line around the outside
00:35:01ironically in the place
00:35:02that cost him the championship
00:35:02a year ago.
00:35:06Geiss are up to third.
00:35:11And DeWolf closing in
00:35:12on Fevera as well.
00:35:15Well, Tom Vial
00:35:16has gone to the top
00:35:17of the podium.
00:35:19A 1-8 will do it.
00:35:22Renault is one position
00:35:24at one point further back
00:35:25on 37.
00:35:26Second and sixth.
00:35:28And he's 11 and a half seconds
00:35:30behind DeWolf.
00:35:31He also can still win.
00:35:34But that's going to be
00:35:35a big gap to make up
00:35:36to DeWolf here
00:35:38and Fevera just ahead of him.
00:35:41Whereas Vial,
00:35:42he's on the charge.
00:35:43He's only got Villanren
00:35:43about another second
00:35:44further up the track.
00:35:48Just to try and give himself
00:35:49another point cushion.
00:35:53Fevera doesn't like that corner.
00:35:56DeWolf fancied his chances
00:35:58around the outside.
00:35:59Wasn't able to make it work
00:36:00like Geiss did a lap earlier.
00:36:19circuit just like
00:36:20a Scalextrix track,
00:36:21isn't it?
00:36:22Get in your rut.
00:36:23Stay there.
00:36:24Try and stay on the track
00:36:25as quickly
00:36:26and effectively
00:36:27as possible.
00:36:3511 laps complete.
00:36:37Geiss puts his best
00:36:38slap in.
00:36:38Two tenths quicker
00:36:40than Herlings.
00:36:4146-7.
00:36:42Kunen, 49-1.
00:36:43Herlings, 47-9.
00:36:45So Geiss,
00:36:47three tenths
00:36:48behind Herlings now.
00:36:50That's them coming back
00:36:51in the opposite direction.
00:36:52There you go.
00:36:53On the monster jump.
00:36:57Herlings under pressure.
00:36:59Two five-time
00:37:00champs going at it here.
00:37:02Giants of the sport.
00:37:05Tim Geiss definitely
00:37:06got his mojo.
00:37:08looking for his best
00:37:09finish of the season
00:37:10so far.
00:37:20bullet not easy
00:37:21to overtake though,
00:37:21is he?
00:37:22No, is he?
00:37:33Again,
00:37:34tries that outside line.
00:37:36Gets him closer
00:37:37but not able
00:37:37but not able
00:37:38to make the move.
00:37:38Wasn't close enough.
00:37:42Clean out
00:37:42of the turn.
00:37:46Good momentum
00:37:47at the bottom
00:37:47of the hill
00:37:48as well
00:37:48for the 243.
00:37:52Herlings had the shorter,
00:37:53quicker route through.
00:38:04inching closer.
00:38:05Curious as to see
00:38:06what happened to Adamo.
00:38:07We do have it
00:38:07but just no time
00:38:08to show at the moment.
00:38:1312 laps complete.
00:38:1512 laps complete.
00:38:16Herlings a little bit
00:38:17wayward there
00:38:17as he came in to land.
00:38:18Puts his best lap
00:38:19into the race so far
00:38:20under pressure
00:38:21from Geisser.
00:38:2247.1.
00:38:22Geisser 47.7
00:38:23that time around.
00:38:29Koonen already
00:38:30in the opposite direction.
00:38:32Turning left
00:38:32to go into the wave section
00:38:34as second and third

00:38:37That's what
00:38:3815.6 seconds
00:38:40looks like.
00:38:41Big look over the shoulder
00:38:42there
00:38:42from the number 84.
00:39:01Yamaha Honda
00:39:02look on.
00:39:07Herlings
00:39:09maintaining his stance
00:39:10at the moment
00:39:11in that second place
00:39:12making Geisser work
00:39:13for every position
00:39:14every point
00:39:16both riders
00:39:17tentative
00:39:18DeWolf
00:39:19and Fevre
00:39:22DeWolf
00:39:23goes through
00:39:23moves up
00:39:24in the fourth
00:39:34daylight now
00:39:36between Tom Biel
00:39:38at the top step
00:39:38of the podium
00:39:39Fevre
00:39:40was second
00:39:41briefly
00:39:41but
00:39:42that's going to go
00:39:42to Maxime Renault
00:39:43again
00:39:44when we hit the line
00:39:45next time around
00:39:46surely
00:39:51Renault will move to 30
00:39:52will stay on 36
00:39:53DeWolf on the podium
00:39:54third
00:39:54on 34
00:39:57here's how he did it
00:39:57got around the outside
00:39:59Fevre no response
00:40:00and he was on the outside
00:40:01here
00:40:01not the line to be on
00:40:03DeWolf
00:40:03controlled the inside
00:40:05closed down the door
00:40:06at the top of the hill
00:40:22he will have the best result of those tied on points with him in the second race
00:40:36so urgency here
00:40:38so urgency here
00:40:38from the Slovenian
00:40:39as he goes
00:40:40wide
00:40:42drag race through the waves
00:40:43Hurling's with an advantage
00:40:47but then at the end
00:40:48breaking
00:40:50Geiser
00:40:50and is he going to chuck it in around the outside here
00:40:52as DeWolf did on Fevre
00:40:56Hurling's too cute for that
00:40:57but he's under attack
00:40:58isn't he the Dutchman
00:41:07great to see these two fighting like this
00:41:09we'd like to see them fighting 16 seconds further up the track
00:41:12with Lucas Coonan though
00:41:13that's the reality
00:41:19another look over the shoulder
00:41:23from the bullet
00:41:34and you pass
00:41:38that was the message
00:41:40for Geiser
00:41:41I think he knows where he wants to pass him
00:41:44but
00:41:45he gets there
00:41:46and Hurling's just
00:41:47going quick
00:41:48just at the right time
00:41:50just to prevent it
00:41:51nothing in between them
00:41:52as they hit the line at the end of that 14
00:41:55less than a second
00:41:59after all the rain
00:42:00the race track
00:42:04very very raceable
00:42:07see the sticky ruts
00:42:09inside is always going to be the shortest route through
00:42:12there's a few bike legs going outside
00:42:14or even into the next rut
00:42:15this guy says
00:42:16constantly finding
00:42:17but he's constantly searching
00:42:18and looking for new lines as well
00:42:20just in case
00:42:24good run into
00:42:26turn eight here
00:42:28switches to the inside
00:42:30a little bit squirrely on the exit
00:42:36advantage Hurling's once again
00:42:44how deep is that inside run
00:42:50so Adamo in 12th
00:42:53still flashing
00:42:54loss of 18
00:42:56positions
00:42:56penalty
00:42:58for leaving the track
00:42:59gaining an advantage
00:43:01might have been on the wall
00:43:02I'm being told
00:43:02we'll bring that to you
00:43:04as soon as we have it
00:43:07meanwhile
00:43:10almost 15 seconds clear
00:43:11Red Bull KTM
00:43:12Factory Racing
00:43:12Lucas Kooner number five
00:43:15bagged a black plate
00:43:17wasn't happy with his first black plate
00:43:18was he
00:43:19found out after the race
00:43:20he got DQ'd
00:43:22no points
00:43:23here he is leading the way
00:43:25in race two
00:43:28very very comfortably
00:43:32and just as we saw in
00:43:34Andalusia a week ago
00:43:36looks
00:43:38very much
00:43:39the real deal
00:43:40doesn't he
00:43:44gap less than a second
00:43:46again
00:43:47between the 84 and a 243
00:43:49still there in second
00:43:51and third place
00:43:53DeWolf
00:43:54almost 11 seconds
00:43:55further back
00:43:56Vefra losing contact
00:43:58with the Dutchman
00:43:58he's five
00:43:59oh
00:44:00just as I looked up there
00:44:02Hurlings down
00:44:05Geiser
00:44:06now up in the second
00:44:12backmarkers here
00:44:13Hurlings
00:44:14just loses the front
00:44:15bike gets away
00:44:16from him
00:44:16oh
00:44:17I tell you what
00:44:18gets clobbered there
00:44:21on the way through
00:44:26almost
00:44:27Geiser now second
00:44:32and that's going to put
00:44:33him on the podium
00:44:55just lost his rhythm at the
00:44:56moment
00:44:57as a result of that crash
00:44:59and DeWolf
00:45:00starting to close in on him
00:45:01now
00:45:02this for third
00:45:05DeWolf needs Hurlings
00:45:06for the podium
00:45:08because that stands right
00:45:09now
00:45:09Vial on 40
00:45:10Renault 36
00:45:11Geiser on 34
00:45:13double Yamaha podium
00:45:14at the moment
00:45:14DeWolf and
00:45:15Vefra both on 34
00:45:17as well
00:45:17so three riders
00:45:19tied for that third
00:45:20step of the podium
00:45:21it's going to be a long
00:45:22minute
00:45:23plus two laps
00:45:25if you're in the blue
00:45:26camp
00:45:26or if you're in the white
00:45:28camp
00:45:28or if you're in the blue
00:45:28or if you're in the blue
00:45:31up
00:45:33he is not
00:45:33D'Abbels
00:45:34Gyrmissa
00:45:34they are
00:45:35D'Abbels
00:45:36DeWolf looking efficient
00:45:37isn't he
00:45:38and he's been moving forward
00:45:39ever so slightly
00:45:40Hurlings picking himself up
00:45:42having to regroup
00:45:42after a crash
00:45:46well
00:45:51Geoffrey Hurlings
00:45:57corner hasn't been kind to the bullet in this race this weekend
00:46:09that's how it looks at the moment three riders tied on 34
00:46:14the wall finds his way past herlings he's on the podium
00:46:24but a good response a good response is from herlings putting a bit of daylight between
00:46:29himself and the husband on a rider 1.9 now and that split
00:46:51back with your race leader we'll talk to the race leader after the race this long as well as the
00:46:57grand prix winner so lucas cuda just two laps from home
00:47:071.517 he's just backed it off ever so slightly but he's still quicker
00:47:11than the guys around him guy said nearly 20 seconds further back his lap time last time around was a
00:47:17153.3 but he has nearly six seconds over hurlings here's vial looking at the grand prix victory
00:47:27he's got four points daylight between himself and maxim renault
00:47:35not sure if he knows it yet but in time i'm sure honda will tell him
00:47:42keep his focus until the last lap out of this turn here
00:47:56hasn't been straightforward for him has it up and down down qualifying yesterday
00:48:01cleaned up by his teammate rube fernandez out of that turn there
00:48:07bounces back with the victory in race one didn't make the best the best start in race two
00:48:13went down whilst challenging adamo for ninth place went back down to 11th he's fought his way
00:48:22back to six at the moment and that is going to put him in a decent position a perfect position
00:48:27to
00:48:28come away with the overall grand prix victory one six and for tom vial his 25th grand prix victory
00:48:37if he can just bring it home we've seen how challenging this racetrack can be though
00:48:46getting ready to take the one lap board
00:48:50in cruise mode number five lucas kunan red bull ktm factory racing
00:48:59takes the one lap board now
00:49:15comfortable over the foxhole shot line right at the start of the race two black plates
00:49:21could have been two wins who knows we'll never know but what we've seen
00:49:27as they determined lucas kunan bounce back from his disappointment in race one he was fired up
00:49:35came away with the foxhole shot in race two 16 seconds clear going into the final lap
00:49:40over geyser and hurlings in third under pressure from de wolf de wolf has clearly had the signal passed
00:49:47for the podium well it's going to be a fascinating final lap back markers ahead
00:49:54of both the dutch riders here
00:50:01who gets the better drive between the two back markers
00:50:07hurlings at the moment still ahead of de wolf who's not going to give up the fight here surely
00:50:15fans on their feet on the bank as vocal as they've been all day those that are here still
00:50:24so um
00:50:25uh hurlings having to hit the brakes
00:50:30he is on the ropes he's under attack here a mistake there from de wolf as well continuing to push
00:50:36hard
00:50:38and a mistake there that might be all she wrote lucas kunan is going to round out the long long
00:50:44left into the right is going to head towards the finish line and the red bull ktm rider
00:50:50lucas kunan is going to take the victory here in race two his third win of the campaign
00:51:00muted celebrations because he knows he could have been on the top step of the podium possibly
00:51:06tim geyser will cross the line in second hurlings will be third de wolff fourth and your podium
00:51:17will be tom vial maximino tim geyser kai de wolff and roman fevere tom vial has been made to work
00:51:30for this he was buried mid-pack through the first turn fell from 10th when he got there
00:51:37down to 11th had to do all the work again he's found his way back to sixth
00:51:40and with that win in race one tom vial on the hrc patronus is going to stand on the top
00:51:46step of the podium for the first time in mxgp his 25th grand prix victory along with his 45th
00:51:54race win in race one vial wins in switzerland not sure he knows it yet
00:52:17the first to congratulate him
00:52:22finally is an mxgp winner
00:52:29had no idea until that moment tom vial
00:52:39we wait for guadagnini who's found his way past kevin horkman on the final lap
00:52:43of course there'll be a rejig of positions as well because adamo
00:52:46in 11th place he's going to pick up an 18 place penalty
00:52:53for leaving the track and gain an advantage well he must have gone straight over this
00:52:56mound in the middle here directly to pit lane then because that is a chunk of positions
00:53:01of four
00:53:02sorry
00:53:14so everybody here we will talk to lucas coonan the winner of race two
00:53:21something new for 2026 if a winner for race two doesn't feature on the podium
00:53:28then of course and it could have been jeffrey could have been the wolf
00:53:32then of course we'll speak to our race two winner then our grand prix winner and we'll
00:53:36speak to our top three after the podium like normal although there was a slight delay it
00:53:42wasn't there with that failed gate drop for the original start
00:53:52right let's go down to the winner's circle let's listen to what lucas kunan has to say
00:53:58foxhole shot for the second time and a winner in race two
00:54:03lucas kunan our winner of that second race fantastic race mixed emotions i know you don't
00:54:08have the overall or a podium but that was a comfortable race win for you you proved a point
00:54:12and you've got that red plate back yeah it feels good i mean to keep the red plate of course
00:54:17but
00:54:17uh yes you know i told the previous interview i was a bit mad um for some reasons i would
00:54:21not
00:54:22get another time but overall i wanted to win the second one i was a bit hectic with the star
00:54:26that
00:54:27didn't crash i was quite nervous but uh no i made it happen and just control the gap and uh
00:54:32yeah happy
00:54:32to finish on a good note now we have two weeks and then sardinia so uh we're gonna enjoy a
00:54:37lot and
00:54:37uh yeah try to work more great job thank you lucas overall of the grand prix here tom vial
00:54:50tom vial after a a disappointing qualifying race you turn things around first mxgp overall victory for
00:54:57you uh but you had to work for it in that second race i had no idea i was winning
00:55:01the gp like no idea
00:55:03and i had such a bad start i was like maybe in 20 past a lot of guys i crash
00:55:08at the beginning of the
00:55:09motto and then i just keep pushing on motto and i think i finished fifth or sixth from the motto
00:55:13and
00:55:13that's enough for the overall eyes it's pretty crazy i'm i'm so happy we work all winter for
00:55:19that and it finally happened thank you great job thank you tom
00:55:27tom vial wins the mxgp of switzerland presented by ixs with a one six here today had to work every
00:55:35step of the way for it bad start crash fighting on a track that was inverted commas difficult to pass
00:55:42on
00:55:43put in some riders but somehow tom vial found a way to the top step of the podium here this
00:55:49weekend
00:56:05take a look at the results then from race two lucas kunan a comfortable winner
00:56:10from tim geiser jeffrey hurlings kai de wolf and roman fevere tom vial great right through to sixth
00:56:17maxima 07 calvin volana and eight running out in top 10 alberto ferrato and ruben fernandez andreo
00:56:23damo has an 18th place penalty so everyone else behind him will move up a place including orio
00:56:29oliver yan panzer roman amosteic mattia guanonini kevin orgmo will be 15.
00:56:36and then 16 for siwa 17 tom kock iago kirtz adam sterry and ben watson will pick up a point
00:56:42or he should do at least no mistaking the overall grand prix victory though tom vial won six here this
00:56:49weekend 25th grand prix victory coming here in switzerland maxim renault and tim geiser second and
00:56:59third this weekend de wolf look how tight it was three riders on 34 points de wolf and fevere missing
00:57:06out
00:57:06on their chance to stand on the podium good result for albie ferrato seventh overall this weekend
00:57:14getting better as well as the season goes on 18th round one 10th round two
00:57:17seventh here round three moving in the right direction for the big men
00:57:21and so
00:57:35lucas koonen back on top stays in red as we head
00:57:39to Sardinia two weeks from now.
00:57:41He's on the 136.
00:57:42Viala up to second.
00:57:43Hurling's down to third.
00:57:46Renault and Geiser both climbing into the top five.
00:57:51Renault was already there anyway,
00:57:52but Geiser joining him.
00:58:04Maxime Renault's first podium since he was victorious
00:58:06in Argentina at the start of 2025.
00:58:10That's a long time between drinks, isn't it?
00:58:25Manufacturer standings.
00:58:27Honda pulling clear.
00:58:29KTM there in second.
00:58:31Yamaha third.
00:58:32Not much in it between those two.
00:58:33Then a bit of daylight back to Kawasaki.
00:58:35And then Ducati, Fantic, Kaswana, Beta.
00:58:41And Triumph.
00:58:51And then the cleanup continues.
