00:00:03MUSIC
00:00:52I came to myself from within, I reached the end without us.
00:01:00My every aspect is clear to you, neither I nor we, only you; I accept whatever you give.
00:01:13MUSIC
00:01:16With the mark of the weakness of existence and the glory of being a servant, I say, God is the greatest.
00:01:26Let this declaration of God's greatness remind the Almighty to whom I raise my hands in prayer.
00:01:36So that I may feel and experience how my heart is filled with light when His name, the Most Gracious and Most Merciful, is mentioned.
00:01:47I am consumed by the fire in my heart and the embers of my ego.
00:01:53With the stain of sin on my hands, I, who am poor in virtue, stand before you.
00:02:04First, I thank you for allowing me to praise you.
00:02:09For this closeness, this generosity, and for everything I have learned from the Messenger, I offer a thousand thanks.
00:02:19May peace and blessings be upon my Prophet, his family, and his companions.
00:02:29Prophets, emperors, and sultans all raise their hands in prayer.
00:02:34Every being, small or large, when burdened by a heavy load on their shoulders, when their back is bent, and when they contemplate a solution, only then does they understand who the Almighty is.
00:02:50You are the one who sees and hears everything at every moment, the one who says your prayers are precious.
00:02:57You have the power to do everything, to change everything, to create and to destroy.
00:03:05Although I knew this, I always came to your exalted gate at the end, not at the beginning.
00:03:13But you still gave me the opportunity, the chance to beg.
00:03:18Even though I don't know now what to say in his presence, or how to ask for it.
00:03:24First, I offer you my heart and everything within it.
00:03:31There is no god but You, You suffice for Your servant.
00:03:38You are the only one I can trust and rely on.
00:03:44Oh God, my supreme creator, my shaper, my support, forgive me for every moment I forgot You, for every step I took without You, for my blindness to the blessings You gave me, for my ingratitude, for the trials I faced.
00:04:05I beg forgiveness for my impatience and my shamelessness in sin.
00:04:11O Allah, the Most Forgiving!
00:04:17O Most Forgiving, the Most High!
00:04:25I am infinitely powerful, influential, and master.
00:04:30Grant me mercy and forgiveness for my past, wisdom and courage for my present, insight for my future, and certainty in my faith.
00:04:43Instill in my heart love for my friends and hatred for my enemies.
00:04:51Forgive me for everything I have done contrary to your command; grant my heart peace and my life tranquility.
00:05:03Earning Your favor is difficult; the righteous wait in line.
00:05:07At the very least, O Lord, may the angels write me down as one who loves the good.
00:05:14O Lord, surely I seek refuge in You from asking for that of which I have no knowledge.
00:05:20If you do not forgive me and have mercy on me, I will surely be among those who suffer loss.
00:05:29O God, for the sake of Your Beloved Prophet, do not let me be disgraced on the Day of Judgment.
00:05:37Don't let me be disappointed, God.
00:05:42Don't let me down.
00:05:55Dear friends, Yahya ibn Muaz (may God be pleased with him) says the following in one of his supplications:
00:06:04O Lord, when You sent Moses, peace be upon him, the Prophet of Great Resolve, to Pharaoh, You commanded Him to treat him gently.
00:06:16But Pharaoh,
00:06:18He was someone who said, "Ene Rabbükümül Ala," meaning "I am your greatest Lord."
00:06:25Now, we say "Subhana Rabbiyel Ala" every day.
00:06:31Oh God, will you cast us into the same place as Pharaoh?
00:06:38The prayers of elders are also powerful.
00:06:42Like the prayer of Hazrat Ali Keremallah and Şen.
00:06:45O Lord, if You are the Lord of the righteous alone, then who will be the forgiver of the wicked?
00:06:54And a plea for forgiveness follows these words.
00:06:59May our amens be added to the amens of the prayers of the righteous.
00:07:05We offer our prayers for the sake of the righteous, the faithful, and those who have earned the pleasure of Allah Almighty.
00:07:13Tonight is a special and sacred night during the holy month of Ramadan.
00:07:19What makes this night so sacred is the Glorious Qur'an, revealed on this very night, which Allah Almighty uses to remind His servants once again.
00:07:28and addressing him one last time,
00:07:31God Almighty bestows upon this night a reward, a blessing, equivalent to 84 years, in honor of the revelation of the Holy Quran.
00:07:40May our Laylat al-Qadr be blessed, and may our Lord forgive us, our children, our families, and our nation for the sake of this night.
00:07:51May Allah grant peace, health, and well-being to the Ummah of Muhammad, and may Allah increase the number of good people for the sake of all the worlds.
00:08:00May God give us opportunities for the good and protect us from the bad.
00:08:05Ladies and gentlemen, we are here with the blessings of another pre-dawn meal. May our night be blessed, and our pre-dawn meal be bountiful.
00:08:19Dear viewers, tonight we will benefit from your conversation until dawn.
00:08:26I have a very precious guest with whom I will be taking a morning walk.
00:08:30Professor Dr. Yasin Pişkin, Faculty Member of the Theology Faculty at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University.
00:08:40We will be with our teacher. He won't be with us; rather, we will be participating in his conversations with him.
00:08:46Dear Professor, welcome.
00:08:48Thank you.
00:08:49May our Laylat al-Qadr be blessed.
00:08:51Amen. May God bless you. Yours too.
00:08:53May God bless you.
00:08:54Hopefully, there's a very beautiful prayer from the old days.
00:08:57May Allah grant us the ability to reach these days every year, and to experience the Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr) with it.
00:09:06Yes.
00:09:06May God include us among those who are forgiven, Insha'Allah.
00:09:09Amine.
00:09:10May Allah grant us the Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr) and make us among those who appreciate its value.
00:09:15Amine.
00:09:15Dear Professor, the topic we will begin and continue with you actually goes beyond the holy month of Ramadan.
00:09:24So perhaps, in the topics we've covered so far, we were asking questions about how to better understand the holy month of Ramadan.
00:09:33But now we're at the doorstep; in a few days we'll be talking about the eve of the holiday and reaching the holiday itself.
00:09:39Then we have a period of eleven months, or perhaps nine months until the next three months.
00:09:47There is.
00:09:47The topic we will be discussing with you today, or rather, the topic we will be hearing about from you, is one that encompasses almost every aspect of life after Ramadan.
00:09:57The Holy Quran, the word of God, which gives value and significance to this night, and this word is only revealed during the blessed month of Ramadan.
00:10:07This isn't just about Ramadan; it's a topic that encompasses the other months outside of Ramadan as well, and its importance remains undiminished.
00:10:15Therefore, our topic will be the Holy Quran.
00:10:21I will ask you my first question.
00:10:28The Quran is essentially a source of healing, a guide to salvation, but it also sets a goal for us.
00:10:36So, what direction, what path does the Quran show us in this life?
00:10:43Yes. Now, of course, Allah Almighty created us for a very special meaning and purpose.
00:10:51Man is a very special being, created for servitude to God.
00:10:55So much so that when we contemplate some verses of the Quran by bringing them to our hearts and minds,
00:11:02The earth, the sky, and everything within them were created by God to serve as a ground, a place for humanity's trials and tests.
00:11:11Created by.
00:11:12And God has bestowed many blessings upon mankind.
00:11:15He gave them eyes to see, ears to hear, a mind to think, and a heart to understand and believe.
00:11:22But all of these things are like one eye.
00:11:27Without light, the eye is not very effective.
00:11:30God gave it to him so that he might guide mankind.
00:11:33so that they can distinguish right from wrong, poison from cure, falsehood from truth, wolf from lamb,
00:11:41Allah Almighty has sent prophets and revealed scriptures.
00:11:46And among these are things that will enable a person to define the meaning and purpose of their existence,
00:11:53It will teach you how to truly serve God,
00:11:57It has revealed commandments, prohibitions, and truths that enable humanity to comprehend birth, life, death, and the afterlife.
00:12:09Now, people need to take a stance, a position, against this as well.
00:12:14Allah Almighty and His Highness Ali want him to adjust himself accordingly.
00:12:17Because without revelation, it is impossible for a person to find their way.
00:12:22It is impossible and improbable that he will attain God's pleasure.
00:12:26When we look at the Quran as a whole, we see it clearly.
00:12:29The Quran restores human dignity and honor.
00:12:32Because the Quran is a guide to righteousness,
00:12:35The Quran is a call to truth.
00:12:37As you stated, the Quran actually shows that man,
00:12:40expressed as "shifa'un lime fissudur",
00:12:43Inside a person's chest, there are the troublesome illnesses, traumas, and anxieties that plague them.
00:12:49The solution, the remedy, the cure, the healing for sorrows, dilemmas, impasses, and contradictions.
00:12:56And perhaps, here we can add this truth alongside the truth of the Holy Quran.
00:13:01It is necessary to understand and comprehend.
00:13:04We need to fill in a missing piece in our understanding of Ramadan.
00:13:08Yes, why is Ramadan so precious?
00:13:10The Quran was revealed.
00:13:12Why is this night, Laylat al-Qadr, so sacred?
00:13:14Because the Quran was revealed on this night.
00:13:16But the Quran was not written on the roof of the Kaaba,
00:13:21Not to the summit of Jabal Nur, not to the emptiness of the desert,
00:13:24The Quran is the supplication of Abraham, the prayer of Moses, and the good news of Jesus.
00:13:30The envy of all the prophets,
00:13:32Habibi Edip, Raufur Rahim,
00:13:35The light of purity for all creation was revealed to the heart of Prophet Muhammad Mustafa.
00:13:40Therefore, when we evaluate the month of Ramadan,
00:13:43Ramadan is actually the month in which the Quran finds its true meaning.
00:13:47the meaning it constructs,
00:13:49what one wants and what one doesn't want from a person,
00:13:53declared specifically by a prophet,
00:13:56The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the protector and guardian of this world.
00:14:00A month in which he was honored with prophethood.
00:14:02Therefore, when we evaluate all the truths related to the Quran,
00:14:07The position of our Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding the Quran,
00:14:11His attitude, the Quran explains on every occasion how to be a good believer,
00:14:16How to be a good worshipper, servant, and devotee.
00:14:19How to acquire good moral qualities,
00:14:22he/she cited as a reference in every matter
00:14:26as an occasion, as an example, as a role model,
00:14:30Without including the Prophet in the frame
00:14:33It is impossible for us to fully grasp the meaning and purpose of the Quran.
00:14:38Our Prophet,
00:14:39Thus, the Quran compares it to rain.
00:14:43And in the face of the Quran, man...
00:14:46the attitude and position he/she should take
00:14:48He compares it to three types of soil in the face of rain.
00:14:51For example, on one occasion our Prophet said:
00:14:55In contrast to rain, rain falls on the earth.
00:14:57When it rains on the ground, the soil absorbs and digests that water.
00:15:04And from that soil, plants grow, crops grow, trees grow, grasses grow, fruits grow.
00:15:11And wolves, birds, and humans all benefit from them.
00:15:15Now, this land is like that; those who understand the Holy Quran,
00:15:18A person who understands the Quran, internalizes it, and transforms it into a guiding principle for life is like the earth.
00:15:25His inner world is stirred.
00:15:28It will take action, it will make it operational.
00:15:30He will undergo a personal, psychological transformation with her.
00:15:33And that transformation will be outwardly visible and observable as virtuous conduct.
00:15:38Now I will mention two more points,
00:15:42For example, there are hadiths in which our Prophet (peace be upon him) compares a believer to certain things.
00:15:48Our Prophet likens a believer to something.
00:15:50He once likened them to gold, saying that a believer is like gold.
00:15:53A believer is always a person of high quality and character.
00:15:57He once compared it to a bee, saying that bees are hardworking.
00:16:01It produces a product made from clean ingredients that people find so delicious.
00:16:04On one occasion, our Prophet likened a believer to a crop from the sky.
00:16:08A believer is like a crop planted in the sky.
00:16:10The wind twists and turns the crops from one side to the other, bending and twisting them like that.
00:16:15It is through that faith that he will eventually rise again and manage to stay on his feet.
00:16:20An unbeliever is like a cypress tree.
00:16:23The wind won't knock it down, but when it does,
00:16:26Our Prophet says there is no possibility or chance of it rising again.
00:16:30There are such analogies made by our Prophet.
00:16:32On another occasion, Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
00:16:38While we were with our Prophet, he said,
00:16:41A believer is like a tree.
00:16:43"Tell me, what kind of tree does it resemble?" he asked his companions.
00:16:47The thought immediately struck me, "If a believer resembles anything, he probably resembles a date palm tree," I thought to myself.
00:16:54Those present began counting the trees growing in the desert.
00:16:58To be able to answer the Prophet's question and gain his attention.
00:17:02Our Prophet did not like it.
00:17:03He didn't like the other one.
00:17:04No, a believer is not like such a tree, he said.
00:17:06Finally, our Prophet explains.
00:17:08A believer is like a tree.
00:17:10"It is like a date palm tree," says our Prophet.
00:17:13Its roots are faith.
00:17:15Its body is worship.
00:17:16Its fruits are good morals.
00:17:19So, his being a believer, a devout worshipper, a servant who prostrates himself in prayer, and his reciting the Quran to people in this way...
00:17:29Being a person who has internalized Kerim, in short, being someone who absorbs the rain, absorbs the mercy, and produces results.
00:17:37The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) expressed that it is like the earth, that it is like soil.
00:17:42And he also speaks of a second type of person who stands against revelation, against the Quran.
00:17:47He compares it to soil in the face of rain, again.
00:17:50Yes.
00:17:51Imagine a piece of land that didn't absorb water.
00:17:55It only kept the water on the surface, but that benefited people.
00:18:00The animals came and made use of the water.
00:18:02Other people came and benefited.
00:18:04That's nice too.
00:18:05But there is another land, says the Prophet.
00:18:09Rain fell on it, but it neither absorbed it nor retained it.
00:18:13It shook off the water, and continued to exist as a dry and barren land.
00:18:19Here are some people's indifference, apathy, and disregard for the Quran.
00:18:26Perhaps it is because they do not show him respect and reverence that the Prophet Muhammad likened this third type of soil to it.
00:18:33What I'm saying is that the Quran is essentially a guide to truth, a call to righteousness.
00:18:38And let alone a humane level, a society far below the animal level, not so long ago,
00:18:49Over the course of a quarter of a century, they have become exemplary servants of God, pleasing to Him.
00:18:55It was done by Rasiyallahu anhum wa radu anh.
00:18:58In the presence of Negus, the Negus asks the emigrants standing before him,
00:19:04Ja'far ibn Abi Talib was also among them, asking, "What did this prophet of yours, this person you call a prophet, do to you?"
00:19:11When asked where they started, where they brought them, what they were like, and what they've become, they give a very brief summary.
00:19:16And this summary is actually about a prophet and the water of life that he held in his hands,
00:19:23The revelation, which is essentially an eternal water, the Holy Quran, shows where it takes humanity and where it brings it.
00:19:29It is very important in showing how it restores human dignity and honor to the individual.
00:19:35Ja'far ibn Abi Talib says, "O King, we were the ones who ate carrion before he came to us."
00:19:44stepmothers who marry each other after their fathers' deaths, coveting each other's honor,
00:19:52We were a society that stole, plundered, and committed all sorts of other despicable acts that I can't even mention.
00:19:57Those who bury their children in the ground.
00:19:59Yes, he who buried people alive, came to us and taught us to respect the rights of our neighbors,
00:20:05He taught people to treat others with justice, compassion, and love.
00:20:10They express it by saying, "We have come back to your presence so as not to return to the sins we once committed with pleasure."
00:20:17Then something emerges, which is actually the Quran and the Quran's holistic expression,
00:20:22Islam has become synonymous with humanity.
00:20:25And when a person distances himself from Islam, it is because he distances himself from humanity.
00:20:31Because it has become dehumanized, this is what we are perhaps seeing all over the world today.
00:20:36Those dramatic scenes that we sense, those dramatic scenes, are actually appearing before us.
00:20:42Therefore, I consider the Quran to be a guide to truth and a call to guidance for us.
00:20:47Then a believer who is addressed by the Quran will bring about a change either in the lives he enters or in the lives he touches.
00:20:57He needs to present it.
00:20:58Yes.
00:20:59So, what kind of change have I caused in whose life?
00:21:04Is it for the better or for the worse?
00:21:07Or if that doesn't happen, if it doesn't have roots like the tree our Lord spoke of,
00:21:12Then the lives that touch her will change her.
00:21:17It will vary.
00:21:19However, a believer should have a function that transforms lives, just like the Quran, the Glorious Quran.
00:21:28It has to be.
00:21:29Because that's what I'm considering.
00:21:31In other words, the most comprehensive, holistic, and profound relationship between the Quran and our Noble Prophet is expressed in a single verse.
00:21:43It is described as the Quran descending into the heart of the Prophet Muhammad.
00:21:47فَاِنَّهُ نَزَّلَهُ عَلَى قَلْبِكَ
00:21:56Why the heart? Because, as our Prophet said, the heart is the focal point in a person's being, in their very essence.
00:22:03Because there is a piece of flesh in the human body.
00:22:06It occurs when one thing is healthy, and the whole body becomes healthy.
00:22:09When it deteriorates, the whole body deteriorates, so be careful, says our Prophet.
00:22:13He says it's the heart.
00:22:13Now, when the Quran was revealed to the heart of our Prophet, it became the architect of change and transformation in his life.
00:22:21And when people look at the life of the Prophet, they are actually moving towards the Quran.
00:22:28So, what we call "taking the path towards the Quran" in the Golden Age, what we call "having faith,"
00:22:33It is true that we derive this from the life of our Prophet.
00:22:36The morality that manifested itself in his life is towards truth.
00:22:40It affects me a lot now, for example.
00:22:41We need to be like that too. I'll get to that point.
00:22:44That's the process we're following, esteemed professor.
00:22:47Now, we have the story of Gabriel (peace be upon him) appearing to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the form of, for example, Hazrat Dihya.
00:22:53And the revelation reaches him, sir, it comes like the sound of a bell, it is sent down to the heart.
00:23:01Now, at these stages, we can be influenced by the Quran, just as the Quran came to us through the words of a human being.
00:23:10But it seems the target is our heart.
00:23:13In other words, our goal is for the Holy Quran, with its commands, rulings, and all its attributes, to descend upon our hearts.
00:23:24It really catches my attention, for example.
00:23:26When the Prophet Muhammad, with an army of 10,000 men, camped near Mecca in preparation for its conquest...
00:23:34Abu Sufyan and a delegation came to visit the Prophet.
00:23:39When our Prophet saw him, he said in a somewhat lighthearted tone, "Isn't it time to believe?"
00:23:46Why this resistance, this stubbornness? Isn't it time to have faith?
00:23:50That's what our Prophet says.
00:23:51At that point, his guard drops, and he just lets loose everything that's inside him.
00:23:55He says to our Noble Prophet, "I have never seen anyone on this earth as merciful, as just, as fair, and as considerate of his relatives as you are."
00:24:11"I have never seen anyone more caring than the Prophet," he says about the Prophet.
00:24:16Now, in the image, mindset, and mental world of a person who was an unbeliever, in a state of disbelief, in a state of polytheism, just a minute ago, there is the image of our Prophet.
00:24:27That's the meaning it conveys, and then he becomes a Muslim.
00:24:30This is the Quran embodied in flesh and blood.
00:24:32Yes.
00:24:33Now, of course, we are familiar with this oath of allegiance to Ridvan.
00:24:36We know that in Hudaybiyya, the Prophet Muhammad went there for Umrah but later returned due to a number of reasons that are divinely ordained.
00:24:44Then something happened. There's something extraordinary here, and what I'm saying is actually one of the miracles of our Prophet's morality.
00:24:52So, the Quran is the greatest miracle of our Prophet, that's true, but that sentence is incomplete.
00:24:58The greatest miracle of the Quran is the life and character of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
00:25:04Our Prophet is the greatest miracle of the Quran.
00:25:06The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is performing Umrah al-Qada.
00:25:08A group of 2000 companions are performing Umrah to make up for a missed pilgrimage from the previous year, the year of Hudaybiyyah.
00:25:16This is what's happening.
00:25:18The people of Mecca, as per the agreement, withdraw to the foothills of the mountains and leave the city so that they can do so without any problems.
00:25:25Now think about it.
00:25:27The Prophet Muhammad was exiled to Medina.
00:25:30There is some agreement between them, yes, but ultimately there is hostility.
00:25:33If the Prophet Muhammad had wanted, he could have conquered Mecca with those 2000 people he entered for Umrah and said, "Okay, I'm taking control of this place, this is it."
00:25:42He could have simply said, "I conquered it!"
00:25:45But those on the other side are so sure, so certain of his loyalty and faithfulness, that they would accept the trust of someone they consider an enemy.
00:25:56They respect him so much that they entrust the city to him.
00:26:01So, what follows from this is that perhaps the truth is that Allah Almighty says, "We revealed it on the Night of Power."
00:26:09The secret to recognizing and performing the Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr) every night lies in receiving the Holy Quran from that earthly realm or from the Mushaf (the written Quran).
00:26:19To bring it down to our hearts.
00:26:21Because only when it reaches the heart can it become a character trait, and we need to discover the paths that lead to the heart.
00:26:27For example, language is a path to the heart. When the Quran is read, when a Muslim reads it, it is a book that is enshrined in divine authority.
00:26:36When you read it knowing, feeling, and thinking about it,
00:26:39The Quran descends from the tongue to the heart. Then, through the ear, the Quran descends to the heart. The ear is also a gateway to the heart.
00:26:46It is a way.
00:26:46That's why Allah Almighty says, "Listen when the Quran is recited."
00:26:51Perhaps you may be blessed with God's mercy.
00:26:54And if you'll allow me, professor, let me add something.
00:26:56Of course.
00:26:57In my ignorance.
00:26:58Thank you very much.
00:26:59It descends from the mind to the heart.
00:27:01He's arrived right there.
00:27:02And now the time has come for my question.
00:27:05Dear professor, we all read the Holy Quran.
00:27:08The Islamic world, with its two billion inhabitants.
00:27:10Let's say two billion of us are reading the Quran.
00:27:13But understanding the Quran would require knowing Arabic, that is, knowing the entire Arab world, which constitutes the vast majority of this Islamic geography.
00:27:24One of them would have to be a born commentator, a scholar.
00:27:29Then, simply knowing Arabic is not enough to understand the Quran.
00:27:34So how should we understand the Quran?
00:27:38In fact, the first step to understanding the Quran is to read the Quran.
00:27:42Yes.
00:27:44Without reading it, without our eyes meeting it, without our tongues touching it,
00:27:48The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that reading the Quran is like speaking with God.
00:27:53The process of understanding the Quran does not begin until we internalize, to the very core of our being, the joy and spirituality of speaking with God, of hearing God's word.
00:28:02The process of understanding the Quran begins, so to speak, with recitation.
00:28:07But this is the reading of the language.
00:28:08Then there is the mind's recitation of the Quran, and the mind's contemplation of the Quran.
00:28:14Because thoughts are actions.
00:28:17It is either a righteous deed or a corrupt deed.
00:28:19Let's put it this way: a person's actions are like an iceberg.
00:28:25We know the part that is on the surface of the water, not the part that is outside of it.
00:28:29Prayer is visible to the eye.
00:28:30Fasting, done.
00:28:31Zakat, fine.
00:28:32The pilgrimage is complete.
00:28:33Umrah, done.
00:28:34Giving charity, that's fine.
00:28:35But there are some actions that the ancients called "actions of the heart" or "actions of the inner self."
00:28:43For example, they include thoughts in this.
00:28:45That is, ef'ali kulub means the actions of the heart.
00:28:48Yes, these are the actions of the heart.
00:28:49Thoughts, for example, are an action.
00:28:51Attitudes, situations, emotions, feelings, and deeply rooted sentiments carried in the heart are all forms of action.
00:29:00And since Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, knows what is in people's hearts,
00:29:03Since Alimun biveti sudur is aware of what is inside the breasts,
00:29:09nalemumet vesvisü bihi nefsuhu, for Allah Almighty knows even what the inner voice of a person whispers to him.
00:29:17Before judging a person based on their deeds or their devotion, God actually looks at the heart, first at their emotions.
00:29:23Therefore, the essence of thought is to read the Quran and to engage with the Quran, to build
00:29:31also
00:29:32In understanding the Quran, or in living by the Quran, or in fulfilling the Quran's purpose and aim for humanity
00:29:40It is a second step.
00:29:41It is very important to pay attention to this.
00:29:43Because this is essentially about the Quran descending inward, reaching the heart, and when it reaches the heart, transforming into character.
00:29:49After transforming into a character, these are the stages of a person reaching and attaining the point of righteous deeds, exactly as God desires.
00:29:58It's impossible without this.
00:30:00Therefore, our thoughts should be shaped by the Holy Quran.
00:30:02It's really catching my attention now.
00:30:04For example, the Quran has 6236 verses, and approximately 600 of them discuss reasoning and contemplation.
00:30:15We can state this both directly and indirectly in the verse.
00:30:18Roughly speaking, this means that in about 10 verses, Allah Almighty says, "Reflect on it, make use of it."
00:30:25Allah Almighty and Exalted is He.
00:30:26Then we need to open our hearts to the Holy Quran.
00:30:30This matter of opening the heart to the Quran, there's a tendency for the Quran to touch our emotions.
00:30:36The Quran aims to shape our emotions, to frighten us, to sadden us, to give us hope, and to make us happy.
00:30:44When our Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The Surah Hud and similar verses have aged me," that was the worry, the anxiety, the sorrow, the spiritual pain.
00:30:54The Quran wants to instill anxiety in our hearts.
00:30:57We need to connect with the Quran with our hearts, and this connection plays a very important role in understanding the Quran.
00:31:05There is.
00:31:05For example, in Surah An-Naziyat, after Allah Almighty briefly recounts the story between Prophet Moses and Pharaoh, He says the following:
00:31:15He orders.
00:31:20This story contains a lesson for those who fear, tremble, and are in awe of God.
00:31:28So, what we call fear, dread, and awe is an action of the heart.
00:31:33This awe and fear isn't the kind of fear we understand, is it, professor?
00:31:38Now, let's put it this way, this is a fear that stems from respect for God.
00:31:42This is a state of careful attention to not violating God's commands.
00:31:48In other words, don't lose your reputation.
00:31:50Of course, but we shouldn't forget this either.
00:31:53Yes, the Quran has interpretations within it.
00:31:57The Quran conveys good news; the Prophet Muhammad is a bearer of good news.
00:32:00But the Quran also has a function of warning and admonition.
00:32:05The Quran actually frightens us too.
00:32:07So, the depictions of hell, God's punishment, God's wrath, in a way, offer a dimension or a warning to us.
00:32:14That's how I see it.
00:32:23Whoever fears resurrection after death, being brought before God, and giving an account, there are consequences to that fear.
00:32:34It restrains the desires, passions, and interests of the ego that are contrary to God's will.
00:32:40This brings it under control.
00:32:42So, that's the underlying reason why the Quran frightens us.
00:32:48Self-discipline.
00:32:49Self-discipline.
00:32:50But, sir, there's also the fact that this reveals a kind of mercy from God Almighty.
00:32:55Of course, this is scare tactic.
00:32:56Because, I apologize profusely, I'm going to use an analogy from the human realm.
00:33:00Sometimes parents do things to keep their child from going beyond certain boundaries.
00:33:08In other words, it issues warnings.
00:33:09Listen, don't do that, otherwise this will happen.
00:33:11Don't do that, and this is what happens.
00:33:12Not that it should happen, but simply so that he doesn't cross that line.
00:33:17Yes.
00:33:17Again, it stems from his compassion.
00:33:19Of course, may this mercy, of course, from Allah Almighty, not turn into a trauma.
00:33:25Not so that people's lives become miserable, that they live a nightmare.
00:33:31There is an end to everything in the end.
00:33:33There is the wrath of Allah, the Almighty, there.
00:33:36So that you may not suffer this, for example, O you who believe.
00:33:39Protect yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is people and stones.
00:33:44Now, on that night of forgiveness, our mother Aisha says:
00:33:48I lost my Lord like this, in a dark place inside the room.
00:33:52When I found him by touch, he was prostrating in prayer.
00:33:55And it is said that he used to pray like this while prostrating himself, for our Prophet.
00:33:58He was saying that the most virtuous person on earth was on a very special night.
00:34:04The prayer and supplication that a servant can offer at the point where he can be closest to God is this:
00:34:09O Allah, I seek refuge in You from Your wrath to Your pleasure, from Your punishment to Your forgiveness.
00:34:19Now, for once, this should occupy a place in our lives.
00:34:21But if you ask me, which takes precedence: good news or intimidation?
00:34:27Which takes precedence: God's mercy and the love and affection felt for Him?
00:34:31Or is it a conception of God from whom we would tend to distance ourselves out of fear?
00:34:37Of course, love takes center stage.
00:34:39Love comes first.
00:34:40Because, look, after faith, the strongest bond established between believers and God is...
00:34:47Love is defined through this concept in the Quran.
00:34:50وَالَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا اَشَدُّ هُبَّنْ لِلّٰهِ
00:34:53Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, says:
00:34:54Believers love God with such intense, fervent, and passionate love; that is, believers love their Lord with such fervent affection.
00:35:02Therefore, this fear we're talking about transforms into a kind of carefulness to avoid losing that love.
00:35:10Of course.
00:35:11So, reasons why he/she should like it are listed.
00:35:15There are so many reasons why a person should have love for God Almighty.
00:35:21But if the ego doesn't understand these things, then warnings come into play.
00:35:27Because the reality in which our ego exists also has a dimension that can be trained through fear.
00:35:34We must also not overlook the role and influence of fear in education.
00:35:39We call this the love of God, hubbullah.
00:35:42And also, I love God, and I have no love, interest, or attachment to anything other than God.
00:35:48Such an approach is also incorrect.
00:35:50Because it's another phenomenon we call "love for God."
00:35:53When we examine the Quran and look at the Prophet's hadiths, another such phenomenon emerges.
00:35:58As an act of the heart.
00:35:59We love God; we call this hubbullah.
00:36:02We love for the sake of God.
00:36:04We love everything that brings us closer to God's love and pleasure.
00:36:08We love our Prophet for the sake of Allah.
00:36:10We love the Quran for the sake of Allah.
00:36:12We love the companions of the Prophet for the sake of Allah.
00:36:14For the sake of God, we love the bird in the sky and the stone on the ground.
00:36:16We love our flag, our homeland, our nation, our state, and our place of worship for the sake of God.
00:36:21This is also called the love of God (al-hubbu lillah).
00:36:23Now, you said it very well at the beginning as well.
00:36:26So, to love the righteous, which means to love God, is a great claim.
00:36:29Love for God is a bold claim, but loving those who love you is also a beautiful initiative.
00:36:35Get used to a nice location.
00:36:36You'll need proof.
00:36:37It requires proof.
00:36:38Ibn Sammak is even mentioned.
00:36:41A famous preacher from Baghdad, from an earlier period.
00:36:43A man of great spirituality and knowledge.
00:36:45When he passed away, his loved ones, brothers, and friends had gathered around him.
00:36:51They wondered what the saint's last words would be.
00:36:56His last words before reciting the Shahada (declaration of faith) were these:
00:36:59Ibn Sammak said, "O God, I have not been able to love You as You deserve."
00:37:07To say I loved, or was able to love, would be a very bold statement.
00:37:10But I loved the one who loved you very much, she said.
00:37:15And he recited the Shahada (declaration of faith) and then passed away.
00:37:17Now the poet says that time flows and the moment is a waterfall falling from a cliff.
00:37:25Captain, look at the mess we've gotten ourselves into!
00:37:29Even if the snow isn't white in the mud, my past is like the only tulip blooming in this swamp, loving those who love you.
00:37:37We may not have many redeeming qualities right now; we may have shortcomings.
00:37:41But when we consider the truth that our Prophet also pointed out, that a person is with whom he loves,
00:37:48When we consider that the companions of the Prophet were most pleased and happy about this good news after they embraced Islam...
00:37:56This act of the heart, the establishment of this love and affection in the heart, is a great preparation.
00:38:01It serves as serious preparation for the afterlife.
00:38:04May God have mercy on the soul of our founding teacher, Ali Ulvi.
00:38:06In his eulogy written in honor of our beloved Prophet, he says, "I am the lamenting nightingale of the Messenger of Allah."
00:38:15I am a sinner, but I am an admirer of Muhammad Mustafa.
00:38:20That's exactly it.
00:38:21So, when you mentioned it, this couplet came to my mind.
00:38:24Dear professor, what is the role of the Quran in shaping an individual's morals and character?
00:38:31The Holy Quran.
00:38:32It is essentially about building humanity while building the individual.
00:38:36Because the Quran is not a book revealed only to one village, one town, or one city.
00:38:45So it is a book revealed to all of humanity.
00:38:48Therefore, it has the capacity to build up all of humanity.
00:38:53Of course, because the expression "Hudenlinnas" is used in many verses.
00:39:00Regardless of time, place, geography, race, or gender, and based on human nature, in essence, nature never changes.
00:39:08In other words, the innate nature that God created in humanity remains unchanged from the first human being created to the last person who will surrender their soul.
00:39:16And because the Quran connects with people through their innate nature, through their innate truths, the target audience of the Quran is the whole.
00:39:25In essence, the Quran implements a system of character building based on and involving people.
00:39:30So, first and foremost, it invites people to contemplate.
00:39:33It encourages people to reflect on the meaning and purpose of their existence.
00:39:39To encourage people to contemplate the creation of the earth and the sky, the alternation of night and day, and how this universe came into being from nothing.
00:39:47The Quran invites us to understand and comprehend why God was created.
00:39:51Excuse me, professor, may I digress for a moment?
00:39:54One of the proofs that the Quran is not the word of man is that it encourages thought.
00:40:01Let me give you a very simple example; sometimes we see this in movies or when someone is committing a forgery.
00:40:08If a man is impersonating a police officer, and wants to present any identification he has as a police ID, he won't keep it for long.
00:40:18Because the person opposite will see everything.
00:40:21For him, it's just a show and a pull.
00:40:23He doesn't want him to think about it or see it.
00:40:25If the Quran, its verses, were the words of a human being, wouldn't you ponder over them and understand them?
00:40:34Right, professor? He wouldn't have made that offer, would he?
00:40:37For example, as in church dogmatism or in that dogmatic approach to which all superstitions are addicted,
00:40:46In Islam, what we call faith according to the Quran is not blind submission.
00:40:50Deep and insightful thinking establishes a very strong connection between faith and knowledge.
00:40:57And Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, commands reflection upon all of existence, upon the verses of the Holy Quran, and upon the very nature of existence.
00:41:02He orders.
00:41:03And when we examine the Quran, we see that there are five types of verses that are relevant to reflection.
00:41:09There are five verses. A verse means proof, evidence. And this evidence has a meaning.
00:41:15What did you say, professor? Something to think about...
00:41:18He mentions the existence of five types of verses that encourage reflection.
00:41:21Before we move on to those, teacher, because I don't want to interrupt, let's listen to a verse from the Holy Quran.
00:41:31And then, God willing, I will revisit those five verses you mentioned after a short break.
00:41:37Please recite five types of verses from the Quran. Thank you very much.
00:41:43Dear viewers, our conversation with Professor Dr. Yasin Pişkin continues.
00:41:49Our topic is the Glorious Quran. We once again wish you a blessed pre-dawn meal.
00:41:55In your family, what are your circumstances, what kind of environment do you have, and how do you have your pre-dawn meal (sahur)?
00:42:02But our program will continue with an extreme sheriff who will create a spiritual atmosphere for your turmoil.
00:42:11Our teacher Veli Solak will recite an extremely verse from the Quran.
00:42:20A'udhu billahi minash shaytani rajeem.
00:42:38In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:43:06In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:43:18In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:43:48In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:55:42There is also another truth, that is, when we discover this truth, yes, Allah Almighty and His Highness exist, okay, that's it.
00:55:51When we say "I understand," the first sentence we utter, the initial declaration of this understanding, is probably not something we begin with, like "I think God exists."
00:56:03We declare this truth.
00:56:05We say "Ashhadu ashhadu," which means "yes, I bear witness." To bear witness means to see. What do we witness? For example, an event.
00:56:20When we say "on-site witness," we are using this expression for those who witnessed the occurrence of that event or incident.
00:56:25This means I see that there is no god but Allah, it's clear, so certain, it's a very great thing.
00:56:33The story goes that one day, Talha ibn Ubaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him) was very sad, and Hazrat Umar saw him and said, "What is your sorrow?"
00:56:41"What is your problem?" Hazrat Talha says, "Yes, I do have a problem."
00:56:47I heard our Prophet (peace be upon him) saying: "I know a saying that when a person's soul leaves their body, they must utter it."
00:56:59Death will be made easy for him, the grave will be made easy for him, the questioning and the balance will be made easy for him, paradise will be made easy for him.
00:57:07Our Prophet said this, but I didn't get the chance to ask what it was, so I'm bearing the burden of his worries.
00:57:15He passed away in Refik A'la.
00:57:17Then Hazrat Omar says, "I know that saying, I know that saying, what is it?" and he asks, "..."
00:57:24He repeats the declaration of faith (kalima-i shahada).
00:57:29If the Messenger of Allah had known a better saying than this, he would have instilled it in his uncle Abu Talib on his deathbed.
00:57:38This is a very significant statement, he says, and it's not something that can be casually and simply said.
00:57:46There is an example of this: when his uncle Abu Talib was ill, the Prophet Muhammad came to visit him and saw that...
00:57:53The prominent polytheists of Mecca had gathered around Abu Talib, having come to offer their condolences in this situation.
00:58:00Everyone's there.
00:58:02As soon as Abu Jahl saw the Prophet at the door, he said to Abu Talib, "There is an empty space there where one person can sit."
00:58:09He extends his hands and feet there, blocking off the space, so that our Prophet cannot come and sit there and take the initiative.
00:58:15Our Prophet also sits on the threshold of the door.
00:58:18When the polytheists saw him coming, they said, "We have a complaint about this nephew of yours."
00:58:22He separated these people from the religion of their ancestors, turned women against their husbands, and created enmity between children and their parents.
00:58:29When the concept of Tawhid (Oneness of God) is mentioned, people naturally go through such a process.
00:58:33His uncle Abu Talib says, "Nephew, what are they saying?"
00:58:38What is their problem with you?
00:58:40When asked, our master says, "Uncle, I only want one word from them."
00:58:45I want one sentence.
00:58:46If they say that sentence, all the animosity between us will end.
00:58:50When he said that, the polytheists asked, "Do you want just one sentence?"
00:58:54We will give you ten sentences.
00:58:57Tell us whichever sentence you want.
00:58:59Our Lord
00:59:00When he mentioned the phrase "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger," the narrator who recounted the event said:
00:59:09The polytheists suddenly rose to their feet.
00:59:11As if seized by a fever, stamping their heels on the ground, they would swear to God, we would give our lives before uttering such words.
00:59:18They said, "We cannot say that to you," and then they left.
00:59:22Therefore, reciting the Shahada, being able to say "La ilahe illallah" (There is no god but Allah), is a very significant matter.
00:59:28My esteemed professor, what the Prophet (peace be upon him) wanted from those polytheists there, that is, what Allah Almighty wanted, was for them to believe in Allah.
00:59:38But they owned a company.
00:59:42Therefore, they were associating other gods with Allah.
00:59:48The significance of the declaration of faith (kalima-i shahada) also came to my mind when you mentioned it.
00:59:52First, a person must renounce everything they consider to be divine.
00:59:59Yes.
00:59:59In other words, rejecting it entirely.
01:00:01As you said, the first thing a person says when they first sense the existence of God is "La ilahe illallah, eshhedü en la ilahe".
01:00:10Illallah.
01:00:11Until that moment, until the moment he would feel the presence of God Almighty, he had many things that gave him that power of creation.
01:00:20He gets rid of it all in the first word.
01:00:23Yes.
01:00:24From all those things to which he attributed divine qualities.
01:00:28We prove it after negation.
01:00:29First he says "la ilahe" (there is no god but Allah), then "illallah" (there is no god but Allah).
01:00:33The polytheists of Mecca simply couldn't say "La ilahe" (There is no god but Allah).
01:00:36They couldn't give up on him.
01:00:37For example, let me make a very small contribution.
01:00:39This was also true for the polytheists of Mecca throughout all ages.
01:00:43The real problem is not the problem of God's lordship, but the problem of His divinity.
01:00:47So there is no problem with the existence of God.
01:00:49Because pointing to something that God would indicate is a mind-boggling situation.
01:00:52It's not logical.
01:00:54The problem is the issue of the oneness of God.
01:00:56Prophets preached Islam to the masses; in the past, the religion of all prophets was Islam.
01:01:03And when they preached the truth, they very rarely encountered an atheist reaction.
01:01:08Generally, the reactions are deist.
01:01:10They said that,
01:01:13For example, on the second page of Surah Yasin
01:01:16When the three envoys arrived, they told the people of a city
01:01:19When they said, "We are messengers of God"
01:01:21They say that Rahman has not revealed anything.
01:01:24They know God.
01:01:25They know He is the Most Merciful.
01:01:27Ok.
01:01:27But they don't want him to interfere in their lives through revelations.
01:01:33Even when those destined for hell enter hell
01:01:40In Surah Al-Mulk, it is said that the angels of Hell, who are referred to as treasures, will question them.
01:01:45How did you end up here?
01:01:47Has no messenger or prophet ever come to you?
01:01:50In what they said
01:01:57Yes, messengers came to us.
01:01:59But we said to them:
01:02:00We said that Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, has not revealed anything.
01:02:04They acknowledge its existence.
01:02:06They don't admit to downloading it.
01:02:08They won't let me download it.
01:02:09The polytheists of Mecca were the same way.
01:02:11Now, if you ask them, the verse says...
01:02:17If you were to ask who created the heavens and the earth...
01:02:20They will say, "God created it."
01:02:23So why do you worship idols?
01:02:25The problem is the problem of divinity.
01:02:26Yes.
01:02:27Therefore, Allah Almighty creates the mind and
01:02:30when this connection is made
01:02:32when the connection between the work and the creator is captured
01:02:35when the necessary processes of reflection have been completed
01:02:37Something stirs in one's heart.
01:02:40We call this faith.
01:02:42Now, after the mind, it descends to the heart.
01:02:45The process moves to the heart.
01:02:46Now, Ahmet Hamdi Akseki has passed away.
01:02:50He is one of the former Presidents of the Religious Affairs Directorate who hails from Antalya.
01:02:53He has a treatise called "Vel Asır Tefsiri".
01:02:56By the [passage of] time, indeed mankind will be in loss.
01:02:59Those who believe continue on, except for...
01:03:02He says something while describing faith in his statement.
01:03:05He says that faith is influenced by both the mind and the heart.
01:03:11by using all of a person's spiritual powers
01:03:15With faith and conviction in God.
01:03:17In other words, it is a state of holistic engagement through deep contemplation and very profound emotions, he says.
01:03:23Therefore, to what extent reason and thoughts are influential in faith
01:03:27The heart and emotions are also so influential, and when faith enters the heart...
01:03:32The most dominant and powerful emotion that humans develop is the sense of responsibility.
01:03:38So how does the Quran help a person mature?
01:03:41How does it lead him, through such a meticulously crafted path, towards the meaning and purpose of his existence?
01:03:47I'm mentioning this as an example.
01:03:49When faith enters the heart, the highest level of feeling it creates in the heart is...
01:03:54A sense of responsibility.
01:03:55Because I believe in God.
01:03:57What do you mean by faith?
01:03:59God sees me.
01:04:00God knows me.
01:04:02He is the one who created me.
01:04:02He is the one who keeps me alive.
01:04:04When I die and my flesh and bones turn to dust
01:04:06that which will filter it out from the soil
01:04:09he who will confront him
01:04:12He is the one who will hold them accountable.
01:04:14and ultimately
01:04:15He's the one who will give me either the punishment or the reward.
01:04:19Now this
01:04:19It automatically provides me with an interior design.
01:04:22Moreover, he knows every aspect of my heart.
01:04:26Later
01:04:26I believe in angels.
01:04:29Belief in angels
01:04:30What is its effect on the sense of responsibility?
01:04:33To the right and left of a person
01:04:35The Quran states it this way.
01:04:36Besides
01:04:37There are two angels sitting down.
01:04:39مَا يَلْفِظُ مِنْ قَوْلٍ اِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ
01:04:43It picks up and records every word that comes out of your mouth.
01:04:46This brings with it a sense of responsibility.
01:04:49Now I believe in the Day of Judgment.
01:04:51So, after death there is an accounting, an interrogation, a reward and a punishment.
01:04:55My belief in the Day of Judgment instills a sense of responsibility in my heart.
01:05:01This sense of responsibility isn't a single emotion.
01:05:03There are other emotions underlying this.
01:05:06And all these feelings, the feelings that faith creates, fall into two categories.
01:05:10Some emotions, or rather one aspect of emotions, are directed towards God in the human heart.
01:05:15In a way, it also moves towards the servants of God.
01:05:18For example, what are the emotions that move us towards God?
01:05:21If I believe in God, and He knows everything,
01:05:24If that's what will truly reward me for the work I do,
01:05:27For example, after faith, a feeling called sincerity (ikhlas) arises in the heart.
01:05:30When I do something, I do it for His sake, expecting only His reward.
01:05:35Then, for example, a feeling that we call beneficence emerges.
01:05:38Okay, I can't see it optically, but...
01:05:40The thought of him seeing me is something I feel deep in my bones.
01:05:44Then there's something we call awe, for example.
01:05:47Something we call love emerges.
01:05:49Something called respect emerges.
01:05:50Something called loyalty emerges.
01:05:52Count as many as you can,
01:05:54many concepts expressing virtue,
01:05:56It is born in the heart through faith.
01:05:58But these don't just represent a movement towards God.
01:06:03It also signifies a movement towards the servants.
01:06:05So, a human being against God,
01:06:07Just as one is devout in one's own life, one should also be sincere towards others.
01:06:11As he loves God,
01:06:13as he loves his creator,
01:06:14One should be able to love creation for the sake of the Creator.
01:06:16All the concepts I mentioned a moment ago.
01:06:19The concept of saying "Alhamdulillah" (Praise be to God) is an example of this.
01:06:22All of these are also acting in the right direction.
01:06:26Therefore, this faith is merely an internal attitude.
01:06:30Our relationship with God,
01:06:31Trapped between us and God,
01:06:33That's how it is, I don't know.
01:06:35psychic,
01:06:37that it is not a metaphysical phenomenon
01:06:40This shows that it is a tangible phenomenon in social life.
01:06:44Now imagine a faith that...
01:06:46He says,
01:06:46Our Prophet,
01:06:48You would not have believed properly.
01:06:51Well,
01:06:56Now he is making faith conditional on something.
01:06:58He makes entry into paradise conditional.
01:07:00He says,
01:07:00Your entry into paradise is through faith.
01:07:02The validity of your faith is also accredited,
01:07:05It is possible with the love you feel for each other.
01:07:08"You will love each other," he says.
01:07:09Unless you love each other,
01:07:11You must have true faith.
01:07:13He's setting another rule.
01:07:14He says,
01:07:21You do what you want for yourself,
01:07:23Unless you want it for your brother too,
01:07:26an attitude towards this,
01:07:27an emotion,
01:07:28a point of view,
01:07:29a closeness,
01:07:30Unless you develop it within a familiar environment,
01:07:33He says my faith is still not there.
01:07:35Then here,
01:07:36Look, I mean,
01:07:37something like that,
01:07:39Faith doesn't just regulate our relationship with God.
01:07:42Faith is also not just about people, I mean...
01:07:45I'm not talking about other people either.
01:07:46It regulates our relationship with all of existence.
01:07:50He's bringing it to a certain point.
01:07:51And when faith takes shape in the purity of life,
01:07:56when it enters the living space
01:07:57just as it creates a two-way movement in the human heart,
01:08:01Faith also builds a two-way movement in the realms of life.
01:08:04So, many aspects of that thing,
01:08:07He made it conditional on God's will.
01:08:08He even set a condition for His servants to desire to earn the love of God Almighty.
01:08:17There's a saying,
01:08:19If you love God,
01:08:20Doesn't God love you?
01:08:22They are truly beautiful words, but...
01:08:25When you look at it, this
01:08:26This contradicts this verse.
01:08:29God Almighty says:
01:08:30Say, if you love Allah,
01:08:32Obey me,
01:08:35May God love you too.
01:08:36There's something interesting here.
01:08:38I love God.
01:08:40Does God love you?
01:08:42This love could be a monologue,
01:08:43unilateral,
01:08:44It could be a platonic love.
01:08:45You think you love him/her.
01:08:47She thinks she loves him,
01:08:47This might be a figment of my imagination.
01:08:48If you want God to love you too,
01:08:51If you claim to love God,
01:08:53You will give it flesh and blood and give it to me,
01:08:54He says you must follow the Prophet.
01:08:56Let's say something in quotation marks then.
01:08:58To follow the Prophet Muhammad,
01:09:00to follow his Sunnah,
01:09:02a luxury,
01:09:04Asceticism is not a phenomenon,
01:09:05It is not an ascetic state.
01:09:06It is an extension and a necessary consequence of the love of God.
01:09:10Therefore, we can use the following expression.
01:09:12For God's sake,
01:09:14Follow the prophet.
01:09:15Yes.
01:09:16This is the expression in quotation marks.
01:09:17This is the truth stated in the verse.
01:09:19Allah,
01:09:19Why should we follow the Prophet?
01:09:20For God's sake.
01:09:22I don't know if it's for the love of God.
01:09:23If you don't love God, that's fine, you don't have to obey.
01:09:25But the verse says,
01:09:26If you love God,
01:09:28"For the love of God, follow my Prophet," says Allah Almighty and His Highness.
01:09:32I just said a prayer a moment ago.
01:09:33For example, that also caught my attention.
01:09:35Our Prophet says yes,
01:09:36If you understand this night,
01:09:38Say this to our mother Ayşe,
01:09:40O God, You are forgiving.
01:09:42You like to forgive,
01:09:43Forgive me too.
01:09:44Now, this is what our teachers taught us,
01:09:46Islam has taught us this.
01:09:47Prayers have a spiritual dimension,
01:09:50There is also a practical aspect to it.
01:09:52We are completing the verbal aspect of this prayer.
01:09:55Now, if I were to say:
01:09:55Oh God, give me a car.
01:09:57Oh God, give me a bicycle.
01:09:58But if I didn't work at all,
01:10:01In the world of material causes, what God has ordained,
01:10:03the reasons that will enable me to achieve the purpose of that prayer
01:10:06Even if I don't hug any of them,
01:10:08Pray until you die.
01:10:10It goes against the divine order.
01:10:11So the question is,
01:10:13O God, You are forgiving.
01:10:15You like to forgive.
01:10:17It's like a prayer to forgive me too.
01:10:19A believer may only encounter such a person once in their lifetime.
01:10:22Or he won't be able to.
01:10:23Like the Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr).
01:10:24In a life-or-death night,
01:10:25in a vital prayer.
01:10:27This prayer of the Prophet
01:10:29What is its practical dimension?
01:10:31We need to think about this.
01:10:32For example, let me tell you the first thing that comes to my mind, sir.
01:10:35Within the other 364 days
01:10:37How many people have you forgiven?
01:10:40Is that true?
01:10:42This is where I've arrived.
01:10:43Thanks.
01:10:43So, what he's saying is,
01:10:45For example, someone came.
01:10:47For example, I was a teacher,
01:10:48My student arrived.
01:10:49I was the boss, then my subordinate arrived.
01:10:52I was a brother,
01:10:53My other brother arrived.
01:10:53He said,
01:10:54my teacher,
01:10:56You are forgiving.
01:10:57You also like to forgive.
01:10:58I made a mistake,
01:10:59Ok.
01:11:00Forgive me.
01:11:01When you say "for the sake of God".
01:11:02How much do you enjoy forgiving?
01:11:05How much forgiveness do you have?
01:11:07if you are inclined
01:11:09Know that God will forgive you just as much.
01:11:11Because the rule was set by our Prophet.
01:11:13He says,
01:11:14Do you want God to have mercy on you?
01:11:16You too will show mercy to your servants.
01:11:18Do you want God to bestow His favor upon you?
01:11:20You too will bestow favors upon your servants.
01:11:21If you want God to forgive you,
01:11:24You too will forgive your servants, he says.
01:11:26That's the equation.
01:11:27A brilliant equation.
01:11:28This is not a mystery.
01:11:30Will God forgive me?
01:11:32Do you forgive your servants?
01:11:34Will God have mercy on me?
01:11:36Will I be worthy of His mercy?
01:11:38After death
01:11:39Will I be able to pass away?
01:11:41Even one of my professors,
01:11:43a scholar,
01:11:44such a pious scholar,
01:11:45He says to his students,
01:11:47When did God Almighty grant me this?
01:11:49I know you mentioned it.
01:11:51Everyone is surprised.
01:11:52That is, related to God Almighty.
01:11:54such information
01:11:56How could our teacher have it?
01:11:59When they ask "How are you, sir?"
01:12:01I know this:
01:12:03Whenever I mention him
01:12:04I know that at that moment
01:12:06He mentions me.
01:12:07Yes.
01:12:08So, in this form of remembrance (dhikr),
01:12:09It's the same with good deeds.
01:12:11So, truly a magnificent window of opportunity has opened, sir.
01:12:14Yes.
01:12:15At least, that's what I'm saying.
01:12:18Whatever way you want God Almighty to treat you,
01:12:22You do those things on Earth.
01:12:24Just look,
01:12:26not even human,
01:12:26Let's keep in mind the example given by our Prophet.
01:12:28Let's revive it.
01:12:30Because he spilled the milk
01:12:31a woman killing a cat
01:12:34assigning a spiritual price
01:12:35Our Prophet.
01:12:36God became angry with him,
01:12:38He was furious,
01:12:39He became angry,
01:12:40His fate was terrible.
01:12:41Let us consider the words of our Prophet, peace be upon him.
01:12:43So after drinking water from a well
01:12:45moreover, a woman who is on the wrong path
01:12:47or the man's
01:12:48He sees a dog, and that dog...
01:12:49because its tongue was hanging out like that
01:12:52Saying, "This one also carries a lung," he got off.
01:12:53giving him water with his shoe,
01:12:55Moreover, despite all his sins
01:12:57his mercy
01:12:58How God rewards
01:13:00The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) expressed this.
01:13:01He stated the truth,
01:13:03when we consider the truth
01:13:04This is what emerges.
01:13:06So we just
01:13:07having compassion for ourselves,
01:13:09to humankind,
01:13:10kind of
01:13:11with mercy
01:13:12We are not obligated or responsible.
01:13:14All existence is entrusted to us.
01:13:16because all existence
01:13:17It was created for us
01:13:18and to all existence
01:13:19to the fullest extent
01:13:21God's appointed
01:13:22by fulfilling that law
01:13:24We have to deal with it.
01:13:26In fact, as our Prophet said...
01:13:28by the river
01:13:29while performing ablution, etc.
01:13:30even for ablution
01:13:32by the river
01:13:33betrayal
01:13:34We are obligated not to waste.
01:13:36This is what the world needs.
01:13:38This is it.
01:13:38Even if the world were ending
01:13:40If you have a sapling
01:13:42someone who says plant it
01:13:44We are the followers of the Prophet.
01:13:46Because we...
01:13:47While you were explaining, sir
01:13:48truly human
01:13:50because he is a believer
01:13:52He praises Almighty God.
01:13:53Oh Lord
01:13:53You have made me a believer.
01:13:57I'm looking today
01:13:58in suits
01:14:01the most modern
01:14:02inside clothing

01:14:34All praise is due to Allah.
01:14:36which faith
01:14:37He has blessed us with this opportunity.
01:14:37I like it very much.
01:14:38take it in your hand
01:14:39wheat multiplies
01:14:40Go to the mountains
01:14:42to the stones
01:14:42scatter to the wolves
01:14:44to the birds
01:14:44so they don't say
01:14:46in the lands of Islam
01:14:47There was a famine.
01:14:48birds
01:14:49died of starvation
01:14:50so they don't say
01:14:51saying
01:14:51Omer
01:14:52with a drawn sword in his hand
01:14:54The Prophet
01:14:55to kill
01:14:56as you go
01:14:56from murder
01:14:57guidance
01:14:58sending
01:14:59That's the secret.
01:15:00Well
01:15:01Tigris's
01:15:02on the coast

01:15:06makes you feel
01:15:06truth
01:15:07That's it.
01:15:08Within the state
01:15:09the state's candle
01:15:10within itself

01:15:12that sensitivity
01:15:14that balance
01:15:14that sincerity
01:15:15That's it.
01:15:16This point
01:15:17when we passed
01:15:18actually we
01:15:19for example
01:15:19sometimes to the companions as well
01:15:21attributed
01:15:21To Hazrat Ali as well
01:15:22attributed
01:15:29Oh God
01:15:30as an honor for me
01:15:32yours to me
01:15:32To be Lord
01:15:33enough.
01:15:34As an honor for me
01:15:35my to you
01:15:36I will not be a slave
01:15:36enough.
01:15:37Praise be to God.
01:15:38We are Muslims.
01:15:39Praise be to God.
01:15:40Like the Quran
01:15:41We have a light.
01:15:42Like God
01:15:42We have one Lord.
01:15:43Praise be to God.
01:15:45The Noble Prophet
01:15:45To our Prophet
01:15:46It's good that
01:15:47We have become a community.
01:15:48Well
01:15:48a lifebuoy
01:15:49So this much
01:15:50that's amazing
01:15:51Because we only
01:15:52from him
01:15:52water in our hands
01:15:54when we received
01:15:55how many sips
