00:00:52Mecca is the center of cherished memories.
00:00:56The month is Dhul-Hijjah.
00:01:00A prophetic dream, a visit to the heart of the prophet whose heart never sleeps.
00:01:06The beloved one shares his joy with his companions.
00:01:10It shares every moment of the dream, syllable by syllable.
00:01:15The key to the Kaaba was presented that night.
00:01:18Tears of joy among the Companions.
00:01:23Our Prophet entered the state of ihram in Dhul-Hulayfa.
00:01:27Next to her is our mother Umm Salama.
00:01:30And they are our esteemed Companions, whose submission even amazed the angels, and who now flow like a river following their beloved.
00:01:44The river of light, but silent.
00:01:50And a man who set out from Mecca.
00:01:53His name is Urwa ibn Masud.
00:01:55Oh Muhammad, come back.
00:01:59Because the people of Mecca swore an oath to prevent you and your men from entering the Kaaba.
00:02:08Urve is both talking and playing with our master's beard.
00:02:12At that moment, Mughira ibn Shuba was standing guard beside our lord, sword at his waist and helmet on his head.
00:02:23Seeing Urve's action, he struck him on the arm with the scabbard of his sword and said, "Take your hands off the beard of the Messenger of Allah!"
00:02:34Otherwise, I'll sever his hand from his body.
00:02:39He says that no polytheist's hand can touch it.
00:02:42Urve returns to Mecca.
00:02:46He addresses the polytheists of Mecca.
00:02:49O people of Quraysh!
00:02:52I come from a community that...
00:02:56They will never abandon Muhammad.
00:03:00They won't let a single hair on her head be harmed.
00:03:05Our beloved Prophet thought his intentions were not understood.
00:03:10That's why Hazrat Uthman is in Mecca with ten people.
00:03:16It was a few days after Osman left.
00:03:20The Companions poured out their hearts, longing for the Prophet.
00:03:24O Messenger of Allah!
00:03:25I wish we were in Osman's place.
00:03:28Now he has gone to Mecca and visited the Kaaba.
00:03:34Our Prophet smiled.
00:03:37I doubt Osman would circumambulate the Kaaba without us, since we haven't visited it.
00:03:43That was absolutely true.
00:03:45The people of Mecca made the offer, but Hazrat Uthman...
00:03:49He said, "I will not perform the tawaf unless the Messenger of Allah performs it."
00:03:53Because of this statement, he was detained in Mecca.
00:03:57And a lie reached the companions.
00:04:01Osman and his friends had been martyred.
00:04:04A herald called out to a Companion.
00:04:09Gabriel came to the Messenger of Allah and ordered that allegiance be sworn in.
00:04:15Go and pledge allegiance to Him in the name of Allah.
00:04:20Some of the companions were shading him with the leaves they were holding.
00:04:26He's holding onto some tree branches so they don't touch his back.
00:04:31Some, like Omar, support themselves by placing their hand under their arm.
00:04:37Don't get tired, my dear.
00:04:39And on that day, the Companions pledged allegiance in groups.
00:04:44Until God grants you victory and conquest
00:04:49I am ready to wield my sword and die in front of you.
00:04:57The polytheists receive news of the pledge of allegiance.
00:05:01And he sends an envoy to sign a peace treaty.
00:05:05The envoy sent was Suheil bin Amr.
00:05:08The terms of the agreement will be written down.
00:05:11The pen is in the hand of Hazrat Ali.
00:05:14Our Prophet gives orders to Ali.
00:05:17Begin your writing with the بسم الله الرحم
00:05:20Süheyl is being sent off.
00:05:21No, don't write it like that.
00:05:23We don't know what the Basmala is.
00:05:27We don't know what Rahman means.
00:05:34And the Messenger of Allah asks, "So how should we begin?"
00:05:40Begin with "Bismikallahümme".
00:05:44Suheil's objection annoys the companions.
00:05:48By God, we do not write or allow anyone to write anything other than the Bismillah (in the name of God).
00:05:53Süheyl says, "Then I won't make this agreement either."
00:05:57Write as Suheil said to our beloved Prophet, Hazrat Ali.
00:06:02"That's beautiful too," he says.
00:06:03The Companions were silent.
00:06:07The agreement is still being drafted.
00:06:09These things are not from the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, says Suheil.
00:06:15Delete it.
00:06:16If we had believed that you were the Messenger of Allah, we would not have fought you.
00:06:22Our Lord is calm.
00:06:24How should we write it then?
00:06:26Write "Muhammad, son of Abdullah".
00:06:29This time, the companions of the Prophet become agitated.
00:06:32Sa'd bin Ubada is holding the hand of Hazrat Ali.
00:06:36Do not write about anyone other than Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah.
00:06:39Or else, the sword will settle this matter.
00:06:42Our Prophet gestured to his companions to be quiet.
00:06:47Hazrat Ali says, "O Messenger of Allah, I cannot erase your title of Messenger."
00:06:55Our Prophet said, "Show me that spot, and I will wipe it clean."
00:07:00And he erases the spot that Ali pointed to.
00:07:03The Companions are sad.
00:07:04According to the terms of the agreement, the Kaaba will not be visited that year.
00:07:10The Companions faced the test of submission.
00:07:13Hazrat Omar acts as a spokesperson for many of the companions of the Prophet.
00:07:17O Messenger of Allah, didn't you say that we would enter the sacred precinct?
00:07:22Why don't we visit the Kaaba?
00:07:25Are you not a prophet of God?
00:07:28Aren't these people polytheists?
00:07:30Why do we have to endure this humiliation?
00:07:35Our Prophet's heart is heavy with sorrow.
00:07:37I said we would be entering the sacred precinct.
00:07:41But I didn't say we would enter this year, he says.
00:07:46And our Prophet commands it.
00:07:49Slaughter your sacrificial animals, cut your hair short.
00:07:53We are returning to Medina.
00:07:56No one is carrying out the order.
00:07:59He repeats the order three times.
00:08:02And he goes to his tent sadly.
00:08:06To our mother Umm Salama in the tent.
00:08:09When he saw our Prophet, he said, "What happened, O Messenger of Allah?"
00:08:14Lovers, the beloved is sorrowful.
00:08:16What's wrong with these people that they don't listen to me?
00:08:20I tell them to slaughter their sacrificial animals.
00:08:23They're all looking at my face.
00:08:25Our mother Umm Salama says, "O Messenger of Allah!"
00:08:29Now you can go outside, but don't say anything to them.
00:08:35Or else, because they did not listen to you, God will destroy them.
00:08:40Slaughter your sacrificial animal, and cut your hair short.
00:08:43They will definitely do the same thing when they see you.
00:08:49Our Prophet slaughtered his sacrificial animal without saying a word.
00:08:53When the Companions saw the Prophet in this state, they vied with each other to slaughter their sacrificial animals.
00:09:02Hudaybiyyah was a peace treaty that heralded conquest.
00:09:06It was the gateway to conquest.
00:09:08Before long, the polytheists of Mecca would violate the agreement.
00:09:13The Messenger of Allah was going to conquer Mecca.
00:09:18Loyalty required proof.
00:09:20Hudaybiyyah was where loyalty was tested.
00:09:24That day, allegiance was a matter of life and death.
00:09:28And it would have been worth dying for.
00:09:31Today we pledge allegiance based on repentance.
00:09:33O God, accept our repentance and make us among the righteous.
00:09:59Thank you for watching.
00:10:10We look forward to seeing you all at the program with respect and affection.
00:10:14We greet you from this blessed time.
00:10:18And God willing, we will be together until dawn.
00:10:22Sir, whenever I read or present this poem, I feel the need to offer this explanation.
00:10:30To avoid leaving a wrong impression on our hearts, minds, and inner selves regarding the Companions of the Prophet.
00:10:39Our esteemed Companions obeyed the command of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) at Hudaybiyya.
00:10:47Let's say they slowed their pace; there was a reason they took their time.
00:10:53Because sometimes the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a ruling regarding the judgments given.
00:11:01God Almighty was revealing verses of the Quran.
00:11:04For example, regarding the decision made about the prisoners in the Battle of Badr, Allah Almighty revealed a verse from the Quran.
00:11:13The incident involving Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum occurred when Surah Al-Habasah was revealed.
00:11:20They thought, "Let's wait a while, perhaps God Almighty will send down a revelation."
00:11:28And when they saw him doing the very thing that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had commanded...
00:11:34That's when they vied with each other to carry out the order.
00:11:39Of course, it was a test for them too.
00:11:43Because God Almighty was testing all of His servants.
00:11:46Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I wish my mother had never given birth to me," and this was one of the things he said.
00:11:53He said this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at Hudaybiyya.
00:11:57Why don't we go and visit the Kaaba?
00:12:01We are Muslims, and God is with us.
00:12:03Because he used a phrase like, "Aren't you a prophet of God?"
00:12:10Even years and years later, something related to the Battle of the Trench, or rather, the Battle of Uhud, came up.
00:12:18The young companions wanted a sentence to be conveyed to the Prophet.
00:12:23When Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned it to the Prophet, he said, "No, I only did that once."
00:12:30Of course, what I'm referring to, Hudaybiyyah, is an event that took place after Uhud and the Battle of the Trench.
00:12:37But I said it once.
00:12:40That's also related to an issue at Hudaybiyya.
00:12:44I definitely won't get involved in that.
00:12:47Because he receives his message from the heavens.
00:12:50Yes, their obedience to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is unquestionable.
00:12:56May Allah be pleased with them all and grant us the benefit of their intercession, and unite us with them.
00:13:03Sir, knowledge, and everything that constitutes society and civilization, is passed down from generation to generation.
00:13:13And it becomes institutionalized to such an extent that you see it taking those elements that make up almost every aspect of our lives very seriously.
00:13:24taken,
00:13:25Sir, continuing this under the umbrella of an institution is also a duty of major powers.
00:13:33And thank God, we are the continuation of great nations, and our culture is very broad and our national memory is very strong.
00:13:47Today, we will be discussing a tradition of this long-established state, and how this tradition has been carried on to the present day.
00:13:58I have two very distinguished guests, sir, the President of the Religious Affairs Foundation, my esteemed professor, the President of the Turkish Religious Affairs Foundation, İzhani Turan,
00:14:12The General Director of the Turkish Religious Affairs Foundation, yes, Professor İzhani Turan, and the President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities, Mr. Abdülhadi Turus,
00:14:24We will be together until the time of Imsak (pre-dawn meal), what will we talk about?
00:14:30Yes, it's a very valuable legacy from the past; we will be discussing the culture of foundations in our program.
00:14:42It is one of the greatest legacies of kindness, and God willing, we will be discussing the foundation and its impact on people and society.
00:14:53Dear professor, welcome.
00:14:55It's a pleasure to be here, thank you very much. I wish you successful programs.
00:14:59Thank you very much, sir.
00:15:01Let's say hello and send greetings to Tortum from here, right away.
00:15:05As a token of respect and gratitude to the land where our esteemed guests were born, lived, and raised, we send our greetings to our valued professor.
00:15:17Since you are from Tortum, Erzurum, and I am from Kan Köyü, Dadaş Köyü, Erzurum, I would like to introduce you to my teacher Abdülhadi and his friends.
00:15:29they said.
00:15:30You should definitely say hello to us too.
00:15:32Our professor, being from Erzurum, the "Dadaş" region, sent his warmest greetings after we mentioned that we would be participating in this program from many different places.
00:15:42Let's not leave any debts hanging on us here.
00:15:45We bring you many greetings from that Dadaş region.
00:15:47Peace be upon you (aleyhum selam).
00:15:49Sir, greetings from here to every single person in our country, which is our home, our place, our fatherland, from east to west, from south to north.
00:16:06Of course, our greetings also go to Erzurum, to Tortum, the Land of Hafizs, the Land of Teachers, which embraced and nurtured us.
00:16:19Yes.
00:16:19Dear professor, this culture of foundations is a very valuable legacy of Islamic civilization.
00:16:29And Islamic civilization, in particular, is known for its culture of endowments.
00:16:35In other words, Islamic civilization is almost synonymous with the culture of endowments (waqf).
00:16:41What factors contribute to the formation of a society's culture through this foundation?
00:16:49And what is the significance of the foundation, especially in shaping his soul and character?
00:16:55Yes.
00:16:56First and foremost, all praise and thanks be to our Lord.
00:17:01May endless blessings and peace be upon our Prophet.
00:17:03In these final days of Ramadan, when we are freed from hell and journey towards paradise
00:17:13Praise be to our Lord who has brought us to this day and allowed us to experience these days.
00:17:20May God Almighty always protect our country, our state, and our nation.
00:17:30May God protect and keep us away from all evil.
00:17:36I would like to begin with a prayer.
00:17:40Of course, as you mentioned, our culture is purely a culture of charitable foundations.
00:17:50This is based on the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
00:17:57Human beings desire something at every moment, all the time.
00:18:02He desires eternity.
00:18:05Since this is impossible, he desires to remain forever, to live forever.
00:18:13There is a hadith of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
00:18:19We all know that.
00:18:22مَاتَ الْاِنْسَانُ اِنْ قَدْ عَامَلِهُ
00:18:25It begins by saying...
00:18:26When a person dies, everything, all contact with the world, ends, it's cut off.
00:18:34But his name endures, lives on, for three reasons.
00:18:46One of these is what we call ongoing charity (sadaqa-i jariya).
00:18:51What does Sadaqa-i Jariyah mean?
00:18:54Charity that continues, ongoing, flowing, benevolent.
00:19:01It is said that a person's second life is their works.
00:19:07A person is remembered by their works.
00:19:11And they've even turned it into something poetic.
00:19:18It has been said that a person is one who leaves a legacy in this world; the place of one who leaves no legacy is left untouched.
00:19:28If you have no legacy, you are doomed to be forgotten at any moment.
00:19:35How much?
00:19:37Your children will remember, and perhaps your grandchildren will remember a little bit.
00:19:43But if you have left behind a legacy, you are alive as long as that legacy endures.
00:19:50Here, right now, are the foundation works of our Istanbul, in whose heart we live,
00:19:59You say, "There's the Sultanahmet Mosque, the Süleymaniye Mosque, the Selimiye Mosque in Edirne, and the Ulu Mosque in Erzurum."
00:20:08Who immediately comes to mind?
00:20:10When considering this mosque, either the architect comes to mind, or the local administrator who possessed the mindset to create this work.
00:20:25And so these people have earned an immortal place in our memory.
00:20:33A charitable foundation, also known as a waqf deed, signifies the establishment of an atmosphere of compassion within that society.
00:20:45In other words, compassion transcends the individual and takes on a social morality, a social guise.
00:20:54If your philanthropic spirit is absent everywhere, then people there will only be composed of material things, of corpses.
00:21:08Therefore, the foundation also gives us a spirit.
00:21:13It gives us a personality.
00:21:16Most importantly, it teaches us that we are human beings, what human virtue means, and what altruism means.
00:21:27In this sense, believers are like guiding figures who take the world and the people within it under their responsibility.
00:21:40The world is entrusted to us.
00:21:41Why? Because we know that our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
00:21:48Show mercy to those on earth, so that those in heaven may show mercy to you.
00:21:57Not just humans, but the entire universe, is entrusted to our care.
00:22:07The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said that a Muslim in the West who is unaware of the situation of a Muslim in another country cannot be a good believer.
00:22:19How will this happen? How will we be informed?
00:22:23So, there is an event there, and we are aware of the existence of this event.
00:22:31This is it.
00:22:33To be informed also means to set aside that selfishness, that egocentrism, and to empathize with their suffering.
00:22:43The foundation is what takes us on a journey from being "I" to becoming "we," what we call the spiritual path.
00:22:55but it is as if hands are joined together, sharing existence, eliminating non-existence,
00:23:10Bringing hearts together, winning hearts; today we call this our geography of hearts.
00:23:18Where does the expression "our emotional geography" originate from?
00:23:22Yes, we take our hearts and souls with us to the places we visit; we extend a hand of compassion.
00:23:32Those regions, which have always been exploited, always taken from, never given in return, where the people are reduced to flesh and bone.
00:23:43You are going there as Türkiye and as a foundation.
00:23:49With the spirit of charity, with compassion and tenderness, you are stroking the head of an orphan.
00:23:55You are fulfilling one of his needs.
00:23:58You witness the smile of an orphan, you receive the blessings of a mother's prayer.
00:24:04This prayer is not just a prayer for the foundation.
00:24:07It is a prayer for the country to which the foundation belongs.
00:24:12This prayer applies to all of them.
00:24:17Just now, my esteemed professor, you referred to our spiritual geography,
00:24:21There is virtually the entire surface of the earth, but then there is the land where our people live.
00:24:27I sometimes see things like this on social media during Ramadan.
00:24:31So, someone from the family would be left far away, alone, without a mother or father, breaking their fast, having their pre-dawn meal, and celebrating the holiday.
00:24:45And that was me, he said.
00:24:49In these regions, outside of our country but connected to us, regions with which we share the same destiny,
00:24:57I would like to approach Abdülhadi Bey myself.
00:25:00YTB is the abbreviation for the Presidency of Turks Abroad and Related Communities.
00:25:09Sir, how does YTB establish connections with our country from all over the world?
00:25:16Thank you very much. Professor, first of all, thank you very much for inviting us to such a wonderful program with such important guests.
00:25:25we are doing.
00:25:26I was truly delighted to hear Professor İzhani on the same program.
00:25:30Because we are two of the institutions that complete that foundation-based civilization.
00:25:35The work our professor and the institution have done, especially the work of the Religious Affairs Foundation, provides a foundation that truly guides our own work.
00:25:46Let's put it this way.
00:25:49We especially need to talk about the month of Ramadan.
00:25:53Because the very essence of YTB (Turkish Broadcasting Corporation) and the meaningful unity of Ramadan actually converge on the same ground.
00:26:00When we come to Ramadan, we can convey ourselves without having to explain anything.
00:26:07If you ask why, it's because Ramadan is a month of sharing.
00:26:11That emotional geography that my professor mentioned a moment ago, and that you also emphasized.
00:26:16The term "geography of the heart" is actually something that is unique to Türkiye, not to other countries; it's not within the discipline of international relations, but it's a concept specific to Türkiye.
00:26:28It is an expression where boundaries are united by hearts.
00:26:33If Ramadan is about sharing, then we are an organization striving to share in a world without borders.
00:26:42We are training human resources.
00:26:44But when we train human resources, we don't do so conditionally.
00:26:49We're not saying you are this or you are that.
00:26:52Isn't it the same during Ramadan, sir?
00:26:53Regardless of the circumstances, it embraces people, stands by the oppressed, and most importantly, enables us to understand the plight of the oppressed.
00:27:08one month.
00:27:08As an organization, we are committed to standing by the oppressed.
00:27:13Especially concerning our kinsmen and relatives, of course, we have three main areas of study.
00:27:21The diaspora refers to the 7.5 million people, all our citizens, living abroad today.
00:27:26How can we enhance their sense of belonging to Türkiye in the countries where they live?
00:27:31We are working on how we can share this with them.
00:27:36How can we strengthen their ties to the Turkish language, Turkish culture, and our foundational civilization?
00:27:43Again, we are talking about how everyone in our kindred and related communities, in other words, in our shared cultural geography, whose heart beats for Türkiye, maintains their relationship with Türkiye.
00:27:54We are striving to make it better.
00:27:58And every year we focus on that issue of ensuring equal access to education.
00:28:08We bring nearly 5,000 students from almost every country in the world to Türkiye for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies, and we train them here.
00:28:18He teaches at the university.
00:28:19Then he sends them back to their countries.
00:28:21We are looking for ways for them to transfer the experience they gain here back to their own countries.
00:28:26So, in fact, the fundamental point in our understanding of civilization, in that foundation-based understanding of civilization, is equivalent to the honorable hadith of our Prophet: "He who sleeps well while his neighbor is hungry."
00:28:38He is not one of us.
00:28:39We are also hungry, in every aspect, in education, in culture, and truly in practice, with the work done by our Religious Affairs Foundation.
00:28:50We are a small, boutique but limitless organization that rushes to satisfy hunger.
00:28:58Our main motivation, in fact, is to act in accordance with the elements of the foundation-based civilization of our ancestors.
00:29:07We are an organization that strives to touch the hearts of the oppressed and the heartbroken wherever they may be.
00:29:14We are trying to train human resources.
00:29:17So, how do we cultivate human resources, that is, the Turkish type of human resource?
00:29:23Firstly, without any conditions attached, and secondly, most importantly, we are trying to cultivate a workforce that can blend the conscientious element with the rational element.
00:29:35This is true both among kindred and related communities, and within our diaspora, the majority of whom reside in European countries.
00:29:44Today, professor, as you will appreciate, one of the biggest and most contagious diseases in the world is racism.
00:29:51There is a huge rise in racism in Europe.
00:29:54There is hostility towards Ihsan.
00:29:56There is an animosity towards color, language, and skin tone.
00:30:00We are fighting against this, acting in accordance with the principles brought about by that foundation-based civilization...
00:30:06I apologize, professor, and this hostility isn't something that just started today.
00:30:10Not.
00:30:10In other words, it's an animosity that is sometimes given the impression of being over, but is actually continued.
00:30:17Absolutely, sir.
00:30:18We recently went through a pandemic, but we got through it.
00:30:20Racism isn't like that, sir.
00:30:23It has an element that spreads much faster and appears quickly everywhere.
00:30:30We are trying to instill the following mission in our citizens living abroad.
00:30:36Let us foster brotherhood in the countries where we live, drawing upon the elements of philanthropic civilization.
00:30:42Let us foster neighborly relations in line with the elements brought forth by our foundation-based civilization.
00:30:46Let us learn science using the elements brought by our foundation's civilization, but let us also bring our own culture with us.
00:30:52Let's tell them about the good deeds we've done.
00:30:54While many European countries didn't have neighborly relations in the 1960s, our citizens went there as workers under labor agreements...
00:31:03...I started teaching the people there about the ethics of neighborliness.
00:31:07Human resources who add value wherever they go are not only beneficial to themselves but also truly illuminate their surroundings.
00:31:17We are exploring how we can make this diaspora sustainable.
00:31:22Secondly, when we talk about kindred and related communities, sir, as you know, we are a country that is the remnant of an empire.
00:31:30From the Harar Turks in Ethiopia to the El Turko in Latin America, we have kinsmen and relatives.
00:31:37Because we define kinship not only through blood but also by incorporating the dimensions of thought and heart, as my professor mentioned earlier...
00:31:46The emotional landscape he speaks of has no boundaries.
00:31:49We are pursuing how we can work together with them, prioritizing the principles of brotherhood without regard to these borders.
00:31:59Therefore, Professor Ramazan, in essence, is an institution that tries to translate the spiritual dimension of YTB (Turkish Broadcasting Corporation) into a tangible form.
00:32:11That's why we work so hard during Ramadan.
00:32:15Hallelujah.
00:32:16We are trying to do this in line with the vision outlined by our President.
00:32:23How do we do it?
00:32:23We are saying that, as mentioned in the book "Evladı Fatih Han," we met with Professor İzhani at iftar dinners in Macedonia.
00:32:33This year, we named our iftar dinners "brotherhood dinner," "brotherhood iftar."
00:32:39Because the bond of brotherhood is measured not by what is on the table, but by the value of what is around the table.
00:32:47There may be just one olive on the table, but there are many kind-hearted people around it.
00:32:55We went to a gathering in Macedonia, at the tomb of Fatih Khan, surrounded by kind-hearted people, and we left there blessed by its bounty.
00:33:04Then, the very next day, we went to Brussels.
00:33:08In Brussels, we once again gathered around a heartwarming iftar table with our citizens living abroad.
00:33:15After that, we immediately went to Amsterdam, where we met with young people.
00:33:23We discussed how the youth element of our national presence there could become integrated with our foundation-based civilization.
00:33:33Next we went to Vienna, where we held a youth gathering.
00:33:36Our aim, teacher, is to bring the spirit of Ramadan to the entire geography of our hearts.
00:33:43Your problem is our problem, dear Professor Abdülhadi, God willing.
00:33:49But we'll elaborate on our problem a little more.
00:33:51Hopefully.
00:33:51May God cause you trouble in this sense as well.
00:33:53Amine.
00:33:54May it not bring any more troubles.
00:33:56Amen, God willing.
00:33:57Professor İzhani, we are now slowly approaching the time for recitation, but I would like to direct my question to you.
00:34:05Your answer may not be sufficient.
00:34:07We can continue answering the question in the second part as well.
00:34:10My request is: what civilizational horizon does this foundation culture remind us of, or to what civilizational horizon does this foundation culture guide us?
00:34:23In one verse of the Holy Quran, God Almighty says:
00:34:30Yercune ticareten lentebur.
00:34:33As I tried to explain just now.
00:34:36A kind of trade that is endless, never-ending, inexhaustible, and whose abundance is continuous.
00:34:46Yes, what is it?
00:34:49The culture of charity.
00:34:52They spend in charity day and night, and their desire here is to make an eternal bargain with God Almighty.
00:35:01Now, in another verse of the Holy Quran, God Almighty says:
00:35:07God negotiates with His servants on two matters.
00:35:11Does God bargain with his servant?
00:35:13This is stated in the verse, it is the Lord's own words.
00:35:16God bless you, God bless you
00:35:22First, he bargains with his life.
00:35:25If you sacrifice your life for me,
00:35:31If you sacrifice your life,
00:35:35The reward for this is paradise.
00:35:38I give you my paradise.
00:35:41Another thing that is very difficult is,
00:35:45God bargains with a person through their possessions.
00:35:50O my servant, what kind of sacrifice are you able to make from your wealth?
00:35:55Look, in return for this, there is paradise.
00:35:57Our Lord, the Almighty, commands.
00:36:00Now, one of the things that the foundation civilization has given us is...
00:36:09It saves people from stinginess, selfishness, ego, and self-centeredness.
00:36:19No one else, not even so tightly to the world,
00:36:23By distancing oneself without holding on tightly, or as the old saying goes, without clinging on,
00:36:29being able to renounce the world, so to speak.
00:36:33instilling its spirit.
00:36:35And that existence and blessings are found in the community,
00:36:41that it is in society,
00:36:43that it is not limited to himself,
00:36:46instilling its spirit.
00:36:47This is so deeply ingrained in our culture that...
00:36:54So, as I was just trying to explain,
00:36:57We all know that,
00:36:59ancestry,
00:37:01I think it was a statement by our director general of foundations recently,
00:37:09Did he really say three hundred?
00:37:11He mentioned around three thousand different types of foundations.
00:37:16Diversity.
00:37:17He talked about its diversity.
00:37:18So, our ancestors thought of things you wouldn't even imagine.
00:37:23And he turned it into a foundation deed.
00:37:29Now, virtue is about sacrifice at every moment.
00:37:35It is in renunciation.
00:37:36Look, just now our very valuable brother, our president,
00:37:42He talked about a geographical region.
00:37:45We, as the Turkish Religious Affairs Foundation,
00:37:48We try to have a presence in some way in one hundred and forty-nine countries.
00:37:53Various sizes.
00:37:54Especially during the sacrificial animal season and this Ramadan season.
00:38:00Now, Türkiye is very popular.
00:38:03There is hardly anyone in Africa who doesn't know the name of Türkiye.
00:38:10And not just Muslims,
00:38:14Even Christians have a certain sympathy for Türkiye.
00:38:20They approach it with sympathy.
00:38:21When they see our flag from afar,
00:38:25Muslims raise their hands in prayer,
00:38:27They are praying for this country.
00:38:29They are praying for the leaders of this country.
00:38:32They are praying for Türkiye.
00:38:34The others too,
00:38:36Türkiye says,
00:38:37They send greetings.
00:38:39Now,
00:38:40This,
00:38:41This,
00:38:43foundation culture,
00:38:45at the same time,
00:38:46among people,
00:38:48borders,
00:38:49eliminating.
00:38:51Dear Professor Kıymet,
00:38:51ACE,
00:38:52There is a country called [name of country].
00:38:54Yes.
00:38:54The flag is the same as our flag.
00:38:56So, up to that point,
00:38:59Yes.
00:39:00There is a similarity involved.
00:39:03TRUE.
00:39:03Isn't it?
00:39:04These studies have been conducted.
00:39:05Yes, of course.
00:39:06Dear Professor,
00:39:07Now,
00:39:08slowly,
00:39:09as you just gave examples of,
00:39:12The Holy Quran,
00:39:14The time for recitation is approaching.
00:39:16Thanks.
00:39:16But as I said,
00:39:17Because I knew,
00:39:18So, because I know the time limit,
00:39:20That question cannot be answered within that time.
00:39:23Therefore, I will continue to benefit from your expertise.
00:39:26Not at all.
00:39:26From you,
00:39:27with my teacher Abdulhadi.
00:39:28Not at all.
00:39:29God willing, we will continue together.
00:39:32Now,
00:39:33Time to listen to the Holy Quran.
00:39:35we will say.
00:39:36But really,
00:39:37foundation,
00:39:38well,
00:39:39service to humanity
00:39:41logic,
00:39:42someone who has made it a problem,
00:39:43however,
00:39:44a civilization,
00:39:46incredibly,
00:39:48on different topics,
00:39:50Unthinkable,
00:39:51They established foundations for these matters.
00:39:54Perhaps they can also be an example to them.
00:39:55We also have some ideas that come to mind, but...
00:39:57First our minds and hearts,
00:40:00one more,
00:40:02Sir,
00:40:03May he/she find peace.
00:40:03May our hearts find solace.
00:40:05This,
00:40:06With hope and prayer,
00:40:07Dear viewers,
00:40:09in recitation,
00:40:10Mustafa Altın,
00:40:12Our teacher,
00:40:13The Holy Quran,
00:40:14They will recite.
00:40:15Surah Al-Hadid, verses 20-24.
00:40:19verses of the Holy Quran,
00:40:21We are listening.
00:40:25A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim.
00:40:43In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:40:52A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim.
00:47:29Our troops continue to work with Bey.
00:47:31I am Izhani
00:47:33I said to my professor, my esteemed professor.
00:47:35time of recitation and
00:47:37advert
00:47:39then we can continue
00:47:41I asked the question, "Precious?"
00:47:43Let me repeat the question you explained, professor.
00:47:45And one more question for him.
00:47:46I will direct you to listen.
00:47:49This civilization culture
00:47:51which one
00:47:53Does it broaden horizons?
00:47:55And this was done as well.
00:47:56When we look at the activities, that is
00:47:58When we look at the world as a whole
00:48:01goodness
00:48:02really all
00:48:05communities
00:48:06something that encompasses, a border
00:48:08unknown
00:48:09He can say that it is a matter of fact
00:48:13Are we? Yes.
00:48:14Absolutely, we can say that.
00:48:17Once
00:48:17common to the prophets
00:48:20They have demands, in the Quran.
00:48:23expressed.
00:48:24We, as servants, have nothing
00:48:26"We are not waiting," say the prophets.
00:48:28Prophet Noah (peace be upon him)
00:48:29That's what he said.
00:48:30Prophet Hud (peace be upon him)
00:48:31That's what he said.
00:48:32Prophet Salih (peace be upon him), Prophet Lut (peace be upon him)
00:48:34That's what he says.
00:48:35And what do I ask of you?
00:48:37aleyhim min ezr.
00:48:39Foundation civilization
00:48:40something in return
00:48:42expected
00:48:43a made
00:48:45not
00:48:48One
00:48:48Not in practice.
00:48:50Only and solely
00:48:52For the sake of God
00:48:53taking into consideration,
00:48:54God's pleasure
00:48:55requested
00:48:57It is the activity performed.
00:48:59From that perspective
00:49:00a person
00:49:03existence
00:49:04when he endowed
00:49:06Now
00:49:08there
00:49:12any right
00:49:15that
00:49:16completely
00:49:18that property,
00:49:20that flow
00:49:20It belongs to God
00:49:22there is the law of God
00:49:24valid
00:49:25that
00:49:26It expresses.
00:49:27Well
00:49:28Like this
00:49:29kind of
00:49:30with human existence
00:49:32God's
00:49:33with consent
00:49:34phenafil
00:49:36being
00:49:36like
00:49:37to eternity
00:49:39open while eating
00:49:40feeling
00:49:41And it has a feeling.
00:49:42Now
00:49:43Imagine that
00:49:44such a
00:49:45civilization that
00:49:46you
00:49:47It teaches this.
00:49:50I am from you
00:49:51no
00:49:51I have no expectations.
00:49:53My salary
00:49:53only and solely
00:49:55To God
00:49:56belongs to.
00:49:57Here
00:49:57so someone
00:49:59let him see,
00:50:00let him evaluate it,
00:50:01a position
00:50:02give,
00:50:02May God grant him a position
00:50:03not.
00:50:04My Lord
00:50:05Only
00:50:06May God be pleased with you.
00:50:08His servants
00:50:09prayer
00:50:09let it be.
00:50:10Even
00:50:11one step beyond
00:50:12in the verse
00:50:13again to us
00:50:15such a horizon
00:50:16It opens.
00:50:16He says:
00:50:17God Almighty
00:50:18Prophet
00:50:19that's what he says
00:50:20peace and blessings be upon him
00:50:21I want something from you
00:50:22I'm not expecting it.
00:50:23If this
00:50:24a worldly
00:50:25if there is a counterpart
00:50:26You can have that too.
00:50:28You know
00:50:29Yunus's
00:50:30yours
00:50:30very special

00:50:52This is just
00:50:53so dry
00:50:54oppressive
00:50:55then
00:50:56cruel
00:50:57grim
00:50:57with a structure
00:50:58not.
00:50:59If so
00:51:00if

00:51:08We were there.
00:51:09Thank God

00:56:06Thank you very much.
00:56:07my teacher.
00:56:08We will continue.
00:56:09Me too

00:56:13at the same time
00:56:14besides that
00:56:15volunteers
00:56:16there are.
00:56:17Even now
00:56:18this program
00:56:18the one who offers
00:56:19Religious Affairs Foundation
00:56:20is a volunteer
00:56:21Sir.
00:56:22Thanks.
00:56:22I should mention that as well.
00:56:24Professor Abdulhadi
00:56:25Now, a question
00:56:26I will direct it to you
00:56:26It's about scholarships, though.
00:56:28before that
00:56:29this
00:56:30We are curious.
00:56:31Well
00:56:31As YTB
00:56:32We
00:56:34as our country
00:56:35in services
00:56:36you are
00:56:37And
00:56:37to different countries
00:56:39You are doing it for that purpose.
00:56:41Other
00:56:42in geographies
00:56:43especially
00:56:43at work
00:56:44ours
00:56:44Islam
00:56:46in their geographies
00:56:47in states as well
00:56:48such a
00:56:50institutionalization
00:56:51Is there any?
00:56:52So, something like this
00:56:53Do they have traditions?
00:56:54Such a
00:56:55civilization
00:56:55for the purpose of moving
00:56:57such a
00:56:58breakthrough
00:56:58Have they been found?
00:57:00My teacher
00:57:00May God bless you.
00:57:02Of course
00:57:02My teacher too
00:57:03He explained.
00:57:04Ours
00:57:04our nation
00:57:05Tasattuk culture
00:57:07from birth
00:57:08He takes it.
00:57:09You know
00:57:09later
00:57:10Impossible.
00:57:10Why?
00:57:12To your question
00:57:13I am the answer
00:57:13I'll tell you, though.
00:57:14I have to say this first
00:57:15required.
00:57:16We alone
00:57:17from eating
00:57:17We are a nation to be ashamed of.
00:57:19We
00:57:20to a table
00:57:21when we sit
00:57:22certainly
00:57:22one next to us
00:57:23guest
00:57:24we invite
00:57:25And
00:57:26sharing
00:57:27proliferation
00:57:27that
00:57:28believing
00:57:28abundance
00:57:29the word
00:57:30most
00:57:30live
00:57:31-most
00:57:32so to speak
00:57:34life
00:57:34inside
00:57:35a living
00:57:36We are a nation.
00:57:37Therefore
00:57:37such a
00:57:38nation
00:57:39such organizations
00:57:40It is very
00:57:41natural.
00:57:42Such a
00:57:43answer to the question
00:57:43to give
00:57:44It is there
00:57:45not here
00:57:45not but
00:57:46looking like this
00:57:47we have many things
00:57:49the example
00:57:50We are a state.
00:57:51Empire
00:57:52balance
00:57:53being important
00:57:53Something.
00:57:54In the world
00:57:54empire
00:57:55when it is said
00:57:56in general
00:57:58imperial
00:57:59a system
00:57:59It comes to mind, but...
00:58:00this nation
00:58:02of the empire
00:58:03ordinary
00:58:04fair
00:58:05state
00:58:05aspect
00:58:06It was remembered.
00:58:07And
00:58:07600 years
00:58:09governing
00:58:10fair
00:58:11a state
00:58:11sustainable
00:58:12He has brought justice
00:58:13a state
00:58:14to be
00:58:14important.
00:58:15Therefore
00:58:15to many countries
00:58:17example
00:58:17hopefully
00:58:18A lot
00:58:18Islam
00:58:19in his country

00:58:27from us
00:58:27this experience
00:58:28sharing
00:58:28what they want
00:58:29We know.
00:58:30Hopefully
00:58:30they too
00:58:31in this manner
00:58:31It will work.
00:58:33My teacher
00:58:33of course I
00:58:34more
00:58:35institutional
00:58:35not
00:58:36we institution
00:58:37aspect
00:58:38human-centered
00:58:39We are working.
00:58:40Human-centered
00:58:41while working
00:58:45clear
00:58:46stories
00:58:47We are creating.
00:58:49These stories
00:58:49How do we create it?
00:58:51Actually
00:58:51our story
00:58:52inside
00:58:53the whole world
00:58:53We are trying to buy it.
00:58:55We
00:58:55the tyrant
00:58:56against
00:58:57the oppressed
00:58:59crushed
00:58:59in a world
00:59:00instead of looking
00:59:01the oppressed
00:59:02next to you
00:59:02stop
00:59:03and our strength
00:59:05on his side
00:59:06to use
00:59:07then
00:59:08each time
00:59:09showing
00:59:10We are one nation.
00:59:10Therefore
00:59:11displaying a stance
00:59:12We are one nation.
00:59:13While displaying a posture
00:59:14the other side
00:59:15stories
00:59:16It is forming.
00:59:17I'm a little bit of that
00:59:18from stories
00:59:19I want to talk about it.
00:59:19Because
00:59:20Ramadan atmosphere
00:59:21exactly this
00:59:21stories
00:59:22including
00:59:23a climate.
00:59:24Four days
00:59:25before
00:59:25We were in Syria.
00:59:27Bayirbucak
00:59:28With the Turkmens
00:59:29We had iftar.
00:59:30An iftar
00:59:30We made the program.
00:59:31approximately 500
00:59:32Bayirbucak
00:59:34Turkmen's
00:59:35participated
00:59:35It was an iftar meal.
00:59:36But
00:59:37before
00:59:38likely
00:59:39many of us
