00:06A little chilly outside, but I think it's a perfect day for brunch.
00:10I've been hearing that the shy bird here has amazing brunch and chicken.
00:15So what I'm looking forward to is a little sriracha chicken and waffles.
00:21Sounds amazing. Let's go check it out.
00:23Well, as I'm waiting for the amazing chicken and waffles that I've heard so much about,
00:28we had to start with some griddled banana bread here at Shy Bird.
00:31So they got this really cool orange honey butter, a little sea salt, and the banana bread is really good.
00:43I call it banana-tastic, but they probably won't.
00:47Really good.
00:49Look at this spread at Shy Bird. Again, Kendall Square in Cambridge.
00:53It is busy here. Very popular place.
00:56It's a Saturday, lunch-brunch time, and the food is terrific.
01:02So one of us ordered a nice little egg wrap for breakfast.
01:07Look at that. Breakfast wrap.
01:10We got eggs, some guacamole in there, side salad.
01:14And then we got the egg and bacon sandwich.
01:19It's got some spicy sauce on that bad boy.
01:22Fries.
01:23And as the French like to say, la pièce de la résistance, which I think is the best of the
01:31rest, maybe.
01:32So this is chicken and waffles.
01:33Again, a rare treat.
01:35So they've got sriracha, honey, so it's got a sweetness to it with a back kick.
01:41Let's give it a bite.

01:56These are awesome chicken thighs.

02:21love the chicken, the sriracha, that was really good, but the waffles are the star of the show. That's why
02:27I'll have to take this chicken home. It was all good here, so if you're in the Kendall Square area,
02:32check out Shy Bird. I know there's a few locations, so there's probably one that might work for you better,
02:38but it is so good. I'm glad I came.
