In this week's Bob Eats Boston I head to the Honeycomb Cafe in Hamilton, MA to check out their unique BLT that is unlike any I have ever had and a lot more!

00:00All right, this week's edition of Bob Eats Boston. We're in Hamilton, Mass. Horse country. Isn't it beautiful? It's the
00:05last day of February.
00:06Still a little chill in the air, so I want to go into the Honeycomb Cafe Bakery, get some baked
00:11goods, maybe some coffee.
00:13They make awesome sandwiches. They've gone kind of viral. Everybody's talking about it, so let's go check it out. The
00:18Honeycomb.
00:20Silly me. I thought we'd just walk in at 1 o'clock on Saturday and just stroll right up to
00:25the counter.
00:25But as you can see, they're a little busy at the Honeycomb, and that's probably for a really good reason.
00:33Now I'm getting more excited. I've become a fan of free dessert for dessert.
00:39So while we're waiting for lunch at the Honeycomb, my wife ordered a nice lemon tart. Don't think this is
00:45all for me.
00:49That's her favorite dessert. I can see why. That is tart. Really good.
00:55Shall we move on to the brownie?
01:04It's so fudgy. Look how fudgy that is.
01:07Oh, that's good.
01:10Mmm.
01:12That was a caramel topping to it.
01:14Really good.

01:20What's better on a cold last day in February than a nice, warm soup?
01:25This is a sausage with sweet potato and kale.
01:30Looks delicious.

01:36Very tasty.
01:37Always like a soup that you can't make yourself.
01:40I'm not going to kid myself.
01:41I wouldn't be able to make this at home.
01:44Absolutely delicious.
01:47It's really weird because, as you see, I had the dessert first.
01:50I moved from that to soup.
01:51And now the fiesta resistance.
01:54That's French for, I think, the best piece.
01:56I could be wrong.
01:57But this is the focaccia BLT with thick bacon.
02:04Really good.
02:06Heirloom tomatoes.
02:07Pesto aioli.
02:08I don't even know what that means, but it sounds great.
02:11And, of course, good old American lettuce.
02:14But look at the bacon.
02:16Come on.
02:16That's a BLT.
02:17Nobody likes a BLT where they're going to skimp on the bacon.
02:24There's so much of it.
02:26This is really good.
02:27I've never had focaccia BLT, but it won't be my last.
02:30I'll tell you that.

02:37That was a great lunch at Honeycomb here in Hamilton, Massa.

02:52There's pastries.
02:53And the people are really nice.
02:55Kind of a communal feel to it.
