00:00All right, this week's edition of Bob Eats Boston, we're in Newton at Cabot's.
00:05They've been open more than 50 years, and it's a local spot that people just love.
00:10It's diner food, it's breakfast all day, and they're known for their incredible ice cream.
00:15So I don't know what I'm going to get on the menu yet, but definitely end with an ice cream.
00:20We want to thank listener Maria for the recommendation to come to Cabot's.
00:24So let's go inside. Let's see.
00:27At the diner, you've got to enjoy a nice Cabot's Diet Root Beer.
00:32Isn't that great? They have their own soda.
00:36Very good. Crispy. I feel like a kid again. I really do.
00:42So I find when I'm at a diner, I always want to try their soup, because if the soup's good,
00:47everything else is going to be good.
00:49I had to try their Italian wedding, and it is really good.
00:53Plenty of little meatballs.
00:56Mmm. And it's hot, too.
00:58Homemade. Delicious. Nice.
01:01So I had to order the Mock Reuben hamburger.
01:04It's just what you think it is.
01:06Nice dark rye bread, sauerkraut, Swiss, burger in the middle.
01:10I'm not even going to put mustard on this. I'm just going in as is.
01:17Mmm.
01:19It's delicious. It really is.
01:20And then, she's drinking fries.
01:24So good. You've got to love an old-fashioned diner.
01:27Cabot's. Highly recommend it.
01:30Okay, this is a wrap here at Cabot's.
01:32Thank you to your listener, Maria, for recommending it.
01:35We've got to end the night with a massive ice cream sundae,
01:38German chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallow, whipped cream, and cherry on top.
01:43If there's a place you think I should hit up, let me know below.
01:47Next time, guys. Bye-bye.
