00:00Welcome to another edition of Bob Eats Boston. I stayed in Cambridge. It was right across the street in Kendall
00:05Square. I had really good chicken and waffles at Shy Bird. And I noticed while I was in there that
00:10Bakey was right across the street. So, you know, we love it. They've come into the studio before with their
00:16awesome baked goods. One thing I didn't try was their babka. So, Bob Eats vodka. Let's go do it at
00:22Bakey.
00:23So, here we are in Bakey in Kendall Square. I've ordered their famous chocolate babka. Babka is Jewish for sweet
00:34braided bread. So, you can see the braids right here, how it's individual. So, this is like just super crispy,
00:43chocolatey, inside, layered, and soft. That's where the braids come in. So, I'm going to dive right in the middle.
00:51So, let's get some of that chocolate in here. Super soft in the middle, crispy on the outside. Wow. So
01:02good. They don't skimp on the chocolate. Don't you hate it when you bite into something like this and you
01:07can't find the chocolate? Not a Bakey. So good.
01:13Wow. It was fun checking out Bakey here in Kendall Square. In Cambridge, I had the chocolate babka. Unbelievable. And
01:20then we had to get some to go. So, the Bakey specializes in babka. So, we got an almond babka
01:27to go. Beautiful.
01:28And then a maple pecan sticky bun. It'll stick to your ribs. So good. So, if you're in the Kendall
01:37Square, check it out. There's five Bakey locations. There's probably one near you. Thanks for watching. Always tell us other
01:43places we should be checking out. It's Bob Eats Boston. Let's go.
