00:00I told all of our athletes, I said, about 20% of the people do 80% of the work
00:05in any
00:07organization. So you guys are that 20%. Every one of you here are that 20%. So get used to it.
00:14You're going to do more work than other people. And other people will be happy to take credit
00:20during track season. It was always the distance kids that would sit up tents and then the sprinters
00:25would go sit down right away. And they're like, coach, we did all the work. I said, get used to
00:30it. That's what we, you and I were that 20%. So get used to it. And then they began to
00:36embrace it
00:36because they realized that's who they were. And I think fostering these ideas really allow you to
00:44win more because you realize that you are the one that has to do the extra and you are the
00:48one that
00:49has to make sure that things get done. And in turn, I really think helps them rise to the level
00:54of
00:54expectation with less supervision.
