00:14this is a book whose verses have been characterized by wisdom and they have been explained in detail it is
00:22from one all-wise all-aware
00:25say o prophet you worship none but allah and i am indeed to you a warner warning you against the
00:34evil consequences of disbelief and evil doings and a bearer of good tidings to the righteous from him
00:42and that you seek the protection of your lord against your faults and then turn to him in repentance he
00:49will provide for you a goodly provision in this life
00:53till an appointed term and he will grant of his abounding bounty to everyone possessed of abundant merit and if
01:02you turn away then surely i fear the punishment of a great day for you
01:08to allah is your return and he is the possessor of full power to do all that he will
01:16behold
01:17they fold up their bosoms refusing to accept the truth with open minds and in an effort that they may
01:24hide their enmity and hatred from him
01:27behold
01:28even as they try to hide their true selves when they wrap themselves in their garments
01:33so that they might not see divine signs nor hear his messages
01:37he knows what they conceal and what they reveal
01:40he is well aware of what is in the depths of their hearts
01:46there is not a single moving creature on earth
01:49but its sustenance rests with allah
01:52he knows its permanent lodging place
01:54and its temporary sojourn
01:56everyone is governed by a clear law
02:01and it is he who created the heavens and the earth
02:04in six aeons
02:06and his throne of power ever rest on water
02:09to which the life is due
02:12that he might show whoever of you is best in deeds and conduct
02:17and if you were to say to them
02:19you are indeed going to be raised after death
02:22those who disbelieve will certainly say
02:24this is not but an obvious hoax
02:28in fact
02:29if we defer the punishment from them
02:32till a reckoned time
02:34they would certainly ask
02:36what is that which withholds it
02:39behold
02:40the day this punishment befalls them
02:43it shall not be such as to be averted from them
02:47and that punishment which they used to hold in scorn
02:50shall overwhelm them
02:53and if we bestow upon a human being mercy from us
02:57and then withdraw it from him
02:59he is totally despairing and completely ungrateful
03:03and if we confer upon him our blessings
03:06after adversity has afflicted him
03:09he will certainly say
03:11gone are all my woes now
03:13he is of course exultant and boastful
03:18such however is not the case
03:20with those who steadfastly persevere
03:22and do deeds of righteousness
03:24it is these for whom there awaits protection
03:27and a great reward
03:29the disbelievers vainly hope
03:32that you may omit a part of the revelations made to you
03:35and that you will be distressed
03:38and worried
03:39because of the fact that they say
03:42why has not a treasure
03:44been sent down to him
03:45or why has no angel come with him
03:48this is far from you
03:50that you do such things
03:51for you are only a warner
03:53against the evil consequences
03:55of disbelief and rebellion
03:57and Allah is guardian over everything
04:00do they say
04:02he has forged this Quran
04:04say to them in reply
04:06if you are truthful in your objection
04:09then bring ten forged chapters like it
04:13calling upon whom you can
04:15for your help apart from Allah
04:16but if they do not respond to you
04:19then know that this Quran
04:21which has been revealed
04:23is replete with that
04:24which is only within Allah's knowledge
04:26and that there is no other
04:28cannot be
04:29and will never be one worthy of worship
04:32save him
04:32will you then be the submitting ones
04:35after knowing all this
04:38those who desire the provisions
04:39of this present life
04:40and its ornature
04:41we will repay them in full
04:44the reward for their deeds
04:45in this very life
04:46and they will be made
04:48to suffer no loss therein
04:50it is these for whom waits
04:52nothing in the hereafter
04:53but the fire
04:54and all that they do
04:56for the sake of this life
04:57shall come to naught
04:58in the next
04:59and all their activities
05:01shall prove vain and futile
05:04how can he
05:05who stands upon a clear proof
05:08from his Lord
05:08and to testify to whose truth
05:11a witness from him
05:13follows him
05:14and to witness whom
05:15he is preceded by the book of Moses
05:17which was a guide and a mercy
05:20be an imposter
05:21those who keep in view
05:23all these clear proofs
05:25from their Lord
05:25believe in him
05:27this messenger of God
05:28and whoever of these parties
05:31disbelieves in him
05:32the fire is his promised place
05:35so
05:36be you not in doubt
05:37about this Quran
05:38it is indeed the truth
05:40it is from your Lord
05:42but most people
05:44do not believe
05:47and who is more unjust
05:49than those who forge lies
05:51in the name of Allah
05:52they shall be produced
05:54before their Lord
05:55and the witnesses
05:56will all say
05:57these are they
05:58who lied against their Lord
06:01beware
06:02the disapproval of Allah
06:04lies upon the unjust
06:06those who keep the people
06:08away from the path of Allah
06:09and seek to paint it as crooked
06:11it is these who are the disbelievers
06:14in the hereafter
06:16such cannot frustrate God's designs
06:18in the land
06:19nor is there any protecting friend
06:21for them apart from Allah
06:23they shall have their punishment
06:25doubled
06:26they could neither bear to hear the truth
06:29nor did they see it
06:31it is these who have suffered a loss
06:33in respect of their own souls
06:35and that which they forged
06:37have failed them
06:39no doubt
06:40it is these who shall be
06:42the worst losers
06:43in the hereafter
06:46verily those who believe
06:48and do deeds of righteousness
06:49and humble themselves
06:50before their Lord
06:51it is these who are the owners
06:53of paradise
06:54they shall abide in it
06:57the case of these two groups
06:59of disbelievers
07:01and believers
07:01is like the case of the blind
07:04and the deaf
07:04on the one hand
07:06and the seeing
07:07and the hearing
07:08on the other
07:09can the case of the two
07:11be alike
07:12will you not even then
07:14take heed
07:16and similar
07:17were the circumstances
07:18when we sent Noah
07:19to his people
07:20and he said
07:21verily I am a plain warner
07:24to you
07:24and my message is
07:26that you worship
07:27none but Allah
07:28otherwise I fear
07:30lest there should overtake you
07:32the punishment
07:32of a woeful day
07:35thereupon the chiefs
07:36of his people
07:36who had disbelieved
07:37said
07:38we find you
07:39but a human being
07:40like ourselves
07:41and we find
07:42none have followed you
07:44except those
07:44who are the meanest
07:45of us
07:46having only superficial views
07:48and we find you
07:50and your followers
07:51possessing no superiority
07:53over us
07:54rather we take you
07:55all to be liars
07:58he said
07:59oh my people
08:01have you considered
08:02that if I stand
08:04on a clear proof
08:05from my Lord
08:06and he has conferred
08:08upon me
08:08a great mercy
08:09from himself
08:12and it has been
08:13obscure to you
08:14shall we thrust it
08:15upon you
08:16to accept
08:17while you are
08:18averse to it
08:19and oh my people
08:21I ask you
08:22in return for this
08:24no wealth
08:25my reward
08:26is due only
08:27from Allah
08:28I am not at all
08:30one to drive away
08:31those who believe
08:32for they are going
08:33to meet their Lord
08:34and I see you
08:36are a people
08:36who are acting
08:37through lack
08:38of knowledge
08:40and oh my people
08:41who would save me
08:43from the punishment
08:44of Allah
08:45if I were to drive
08:46them away
08:47will you not
08:48then consider
08:51and I do not
08:52say to you
08:52that I possess
08:53the treasures
08:54of Allah
08:54nor that I know
08:56the hidden realities
08:57nor do I say
08:58that I am an angel
09:00nor do I say
09:01concerning those
09:02whom your eyes
09:03despise
09:03that Allah
09:04will not grant
09:05them any good
09:07Allah knows best
09:08whatever is
09:10in their minds
09:11I shall indeed
09:12be of the unjust
09:13if I say
09:14anything of the kind
09:16they said
09:17Noah
09:18you have disputed
09:20with us long
09:20and have disputed
09:21with us many a time
09:23bring down on us
09:24now that punishment
09:25you threaten us with
09:27if you are of
09:28the truthful ones
09:29he said
09:31Allah alone
09:32will bring it down
09:33on you
09:34if he will
09:34and you cannot
09:36frustrate him
09:37in his purpose
09:39and my sincere
09:41counsel will do
09:42you no good
09:42choose as I may
09:44to counsel you
09:45in case Allah
09:46intends to destroy you
09:47he is your Lord
09:49and to him
09:50you shall be made
09:52to return
09:53or do they say
09:55he
09:55Muhammad
09:56has forged it
09:57say
09:58O Muhammad
09:59if I have forged it
10:01then on me
10:02will be the penalty
10:03of my crime
10:04and I am quit
10:06of all the responsibilities
10:07of the sin
10:08you commit
10:11and it was revealed
10:12to Noah
10:13no one of your people
10:15besides those
10:16who have so far
10:17believed
10:18will henceforth believe
10:19therefore grieve not
10:21over what they have
10:22been doing
10:23and build the ark
10:25under our eyes
10:26and in accordance
10:27with our revelation
10:28and address not
10:30to plead with me
10:31in favor of those
10:32who act unjustly
10:34verily they are doomed
10:35to be drowned
10:37and he set himself
10:39to making the ark
10:40and every time
10:41the chiefs of his people
10:42passed by him
10:43they looked down
10:45upon him
10:46thereupon
10:46he said
10:47surely we
10:48in our turn
10:49will look down
10:50on you
10:50just as you look
10:52down on us now
10:54you shall soon
10:55know for yourself
10:56who it is
10:58who will be
10:59overtaken
10:59by the punishment
11:00that will disgrace him
11:01and on whom
11:02descends
11:03a long
11:03lasting penalty
11:06thus it was
11:07till our command
11:08about the punishment

11:09and waters
11:11of the springs
11:11of the valley
11:12swelled
11:12and gushed forth
11:13we said
11:15embark in it
11:16two of every kind
11:18needed
11:18male and female
11:20and all the members
11:22of your family
11:22except those
11:23about the destruction
11:24of whom our verdict
11:26has already been announced
11:27and embark in it
11:29also those
11:30who believe
11:31yet there had not
11:33believed in him
11:34excepting a few
11:36and Noah said
11:38embark in it
11:39with the name of
11:41Allah
11:41and his help
11:43be its course
11:44and its mooring
11:45surely my lord
11:47is indeed
11:47great protector
11:48ever merciful
11:50now this ark
11:52moved
11:52carrying them
11:53amidst
11:54waves as high
11:55as mountains
11:56and Noah
11:58called out
11:58to his son
11:59who was standing
12:00aloof
12:01my dear son
12:03embark with us
12:05and do not be
12:06with the disbelievers
12:08he said
12:09I shall betake myself
12:11to a mountain
12:12for refuge
12:13which will protect me
12:14from this water
12:15Noah said
12:17there is no protection
12:19for anyone this day
12:20from the decree
12:21of Allah
12:22but he will be safe
12:25on whom he
12:25has mercy
12:26and lo
12:28a wave
12:29separated the two
12:30so he
12:32Noah's son
12:33was among
12:34the drowned
12:35and it was said
12:37O earth
12:39swallow back
12:40your water
12:41and O cloud
12:42abate
12:44and stop pouring
12:45so the water
12:47was made to subside
12:48and the matter
12:49was decided
12:50and this ark
12:52came to rest
12:52on the mount
12:53al-judi
12:54and the word
12:56went forth
12:56away with the
12:58unjust people
13:00and Noah
13:01called to his
13:02lord and said
13:03my lord
13:04my son belongs
13:06to my family
13:06and surely
13:07your promise
13:08is also true
13:09yet you are
13:10the most
13:11just
13:11of the judges
13:13the lord said
13:15he decidedly
13:16does not
13:17belong
13:17to your family
13:18as he is given
13:20to unrighteous
13:21conduct
13:21so do not
13:23ask of me
13:23that of which
13:24you have no
13:25knowledge
13:25I advise you
13:27not to be
13:28of those
13:28wanting in
13:29knowledge
13:30he said
13:31my lord
13:33I beg you
13:34to protect me
13:35that I should
13:36ask you
13:37that of which
13:37I have no
13:38knowledge
13:39and unless
13:40you forgive me
13:41and have mercy
13:42on me
13:42I shall be
13:43of the losers
13:45there came
13:46the command
13:47Noah
13:48descend from
13:49the ark
13:50with peace
13:50from us
13:51and varied
13:52blessings
13:53we shall
13:54bestow on you
13:55and upon
13:55peoples to be
13:56born of those
13:57with you
13:58there shall be
13:59other peoples
14:00whom we shall
14:01grant provisions
14:02of this world
14:03for a time
14:04then they will
14:05receive from us
14:06a grievous
14:07punishment
14:08as a result
14:08of their
14:09transgression
14:10these announcements
14:11full of warnings
14:12are some of the
14:13important news
14:14of the hidden
14:15realities
14:16we have revealed
14:17them to you
14:18you did not
14:20know them
14:20neither you
14:21nor your people
14:22before this
14:23therefore
14:24persevere
14:26in doing good
14:27for those who
14:28become secure
14:29against evil
14:29shall surely
14:30have the good
14:31and successful
14:32end
14:32and we sent
14:34the tribe
14:35of odd
14:35their kinsmen
14:37hood
14:37as a messenger
14:38he said
14:40my people
14:41worship
14:42Allah
14:42alone
14:43you have
14:44no one
14:45worthy
14:45of worship
14:46other than
14:46he
14:47you are
14:48but
14:48fabricators
14:49of lies
14:50by assigning
14:51partners
14:52with him
14:52in his
14:52sovereignty
14:54my people
14:55I ask
14:56of you
14:57no reward
14:57for this
14:58teaching
14:58my reward
15:00is not
15:00due
15:01except
15:01from him
15:02who created
15:02me
15:03will you
15:04not
15:04then
15:04understand
15:06and my
15:07people
15:08seek
15:09protection
15:09of your
15:10Lord
15:10and turn
15:11to him
15:11in repentance
15:12if you
15:13do so
15:14he will
15:15send
15:15clouds
15:16over you
15:17pouring
15:17down
15:17abundance
15:18of rain
15:18and he
15:20will add
15:20more strength
15:21to your
15:21present strength
15:22and do
15:23not turn
15:24away from
15:24him
15:24as those
15:25who sever
15:26their ties
15:27with God
15:28they said
15:29oh hood
15:31you have
15:32brought us
15:33no clear
15:33proof about
15:34your truthfulness
15:35and we will
15:36not forsake
15:37our gods
15:38merely for
15:38your saying
15:39nor are we
15:40going to be
15:41believers in
15:42you at
15:42all
15:44all that
15:44we can
15:45say is
15:45that some
15:46of our
15:46gods have
15:47smitten you
15:47with evil
15:48rendering
15:49you insane
15:50hood said
15:52surely I
15:53call Allah
15:54to witness
15:54and do you
15:56also bear
15:57witness that
15:57I have
15:58nothing to
15:58do with
15:59the gods
15:59you associate
16:00with Allah
16:02apart from
16:03him so
16:04you and
16:04all your
16:05gods together
16:06devise
16:06concerted
16:07plans against
16:07me and
16:08give me
16:09no respite
16:10I have
16:11definitely
16:12put my
16:13trust in
16:13Allah
16:14who is
16:14my lord
16:15and your
16:16lord
16:17there is
16:18no living
16:18and moving
16:19creature
16:19but he
16:19holds its
16:20forelock
16:21having
16:21absolute
16:22power
16:23over it
16:24surely
16:24right and
16:26just
16:26are the
16:26ways of
16:27my lord
16:28if you
16:29turn away
16:29from him
16:30remember
16:31that I
16:31have fully
16:32conveyed
16:33to you
16:33that message
16:34I have
16:34been sent
16:35with to
16:35you
16:36if you
16:37do not
16:37accept
16:38it
16:38my lord
16:39will
16:39replace
16:40you
16:40with
16:40another
16:40people
16:41to be
16:41rulers
16:42and you
16:43shall
16:43be able
16:43to do

16:44harm
16:45at
16:45all
16:46surely
16:47my lord
16:47is
16:48preserver

16:53punishment

17:21resurrection

18:27call

18:34claim
18:35to
18:35prophethood

18:36stand
18:36on
18:36a
18:36clear
18:37proof
18:37for
18:37my
18:37lord
18:38and
18:39he
18:39has
18:39granted
18:39me
18:40mercy
18:40from
18:40himself
18:41who
18:42then
18:42will
18:42help
18:42to
18:43save
18:43me
18:43against
18:43the
18:44punishment
18:44of
18:44Allah
18:45if
18:45I
18:45disobey
18:46him
18:46for
18:47then
18:47you
18:47will
18:48increase
18:48me
18:48in
18:48nothing
18:49but
18:49in
18:52people
18:53this
18:54is
18:54a
18:54she
18:54camel
18:55appointed
18:56by
18:56Allah
18:57as
18:57a
18:57sign
18:57for
18:58you
18:58so
18:59leave

18:59alone

19:01earth

19:03afflict

19:03not
19:04with

19:04harm

19:06imminent

19:07seize

19:09hamstrung
19:10her
19:10so

19:11he
19:12said

19:14shall
19:14enjoy
19:15the
19:15provision
19:15of
19:16Allah
19:16in
19:16your
19:16worldly
19:17abodes
19:18only
19:18for
19:18another
19:18three
19:19days

19:20is
19:21a
19:21promise
19:21which
19:22will
19:22never
19:22prove
19:23false
19:25and
19:25when
19:26our
19:26command
19:27about
19:27punishment
19:28came
19:28to
19:28pass
19:28we
19:29saved
19:30Sully
19:30and
19:31with
19:32him
19:32the
19:32believers
19:32by a
19:33special
19:33mercy
19:34from
19:34us
19:34and
19:35we
19:35saved
19:36them
19:36from
19:36the
19:36ignominy
19:37of
19:37that
19:38day
19:38surely
19:39all
19:40powerful
19:41is
19:41your
19:41Lord
19:41and
19:42almighty
19:44and
19:45a
19:45thunderbolt
19:45caused
19:46by an
19:47earthquake
19:47seized
19:48those
19:48who
19:49had
19:49acted
19:49unjustly
19:50and
19:51the
19:51next
19:52morning
19:52found
19:52them
19:53lying
19:53prostrate
19:54in
19:54their
19:54habitations
19:55as
19:56if
19:57they
19:57had
19:57never
19:58dwelt
19:58in
19:58them
19:58behold
20:00the
20:01Thamud
20:01behaved
20:02ungratefully
20:02to their
20:03lord
20:03denying
20:04his
20:05favors
20:05upon
20:05them
20:06so
20:06away
20:07with
20:07the
20:07tribe
20:08of
20:08Thamud
20:10and
20:11and
20:11certainly
20:11our
20:11messengers
20:12came
20:12to
20:12Abraham
20:13with
20:13good
20:13tidings
20:14they
20:15said
20:15we
20:16bid
20:17you
20:17peace
20:17he
20:18said
20:19peace
20:20be
20:20on
20:20you
20:21too
20:21always
20:21and
20:23he
20:23lost
20:23no
20:23time
20:24in
20:24bringing
20:24them
20:24a
20:25roasted
20:25calf
20:26but
20:27when
20:27he
20:27saw

20:28their
20:28hands
20:28did
20:29not
20:29extend
20:29to
20:30that
20:30meal
20:30he
20:31considered
20:31it
20:32strange
20:32on
20:32their
20:32part

20:33apprehended

20:36said

20:37fear

20:38we
20:38have
20:38been
20:39sent

20:39the
20:39people

20:41his
20:41wife

20:42standing

20:43she
20:43too

20:44inspired
20:44with
20:44awe
20:45so
20:46we

31:04and

31:05shall
31:06surely
31:06pay
31:06them
31:07their
31:07dues
31:07in

31:09undiminished
31:11and
31:12we
31:12gave
31:13Moses
31:13the
31:13book
31:13but
31:14differences
31:15arose
31:16about
31:16it
31:16and
31:16had
31:17it
31:17not
31:17been
31:17for
31:18a
31:18word
31:18that
31:18had
31:19gone
31:19forth
31:19from
31:19your
31:20lord
31:20the
31:21issue
31:21between

31:22the

31:29disbelievers
31:30are in

31:31disquieting
31:32doubt

31:33your
31:34lord
31:34will
31:34certainly

31:37reward
31:38of
31:38their
31:38deeds
31:39for

31:40well
31:41aware

31:41all
31:42that
31:42they

32:40generations
32:40that

32:45perpetration

32:46evil
32:47in

32:47land
32:47but
32:48there
32:49were
32:49only
32:49a

32:50who
32:50acted
32:51righteously
32:51and
32:52whom
32:52we
32:52had
32:53saved
32:53from

32:54them
32:54and
32:55all

32:56who
32:56had
32:56committed
32:57wrong
32:58pursued
32:58that
32:59wanton
32:59ease

33:03their

33:12destroy

33:13townships
33:13unjustly
33:14while

33:15inhabitants

33:16live
33:17in
33:17peace
33:18and
33:18set
33:18things
33:18right
33:20had
33:20your
33:20Lord
33:21enforced
33:21his
33:22will
33:22he
33:23would
33:23have
33:23certainly
33:23made
33:24the
33:24whole
33:24of
33:25humankind
33:25one
33:26community
33:26but
33:27since
33:27he
33:28did
33:28not
33:28like
33:29to
33:29enforce
33:29his
33:29will
33:30upon
33:30people
33:30they
33:31would
33:31not
33:31cease
33:32to
33:32differ
33:33different
33:34however
33:34is
33:35the
33:35case
33:35of
