Bicycling's Tom Messina gives his thoughts on commuter backpacks.
Transcript
00:00Sometimes it feels like companies never listen to our feedback, but I can now
00:04gladly say Velocio has listened. Right here, this is the old Velocio Recon
00:10backpack. I commuted with it every day for months and it just had problems that
00:15just made me never want to recommend it as a commuter backpack. The laptop
00:20compartment was so bad. I could never fit my laptop in and the strap, it's a
00:26bag, so the strap was never long enough to really make use of all of the cubic
00:31inches that it had to offer. Also, you couldn't stand up on its bottom and other
00:35just little things, but I just got the new Recon commuter backpack and they fixed
00:40all of it. They listened. The strap is way longer. I can fit my laptop in no problem.
00:47It stands up on its bottom. They did like a double stitch seam on the inside. It's
00:52all super rigid. And now, just after very little testing, I've noticed all of the
00:57improvements. I can confidently say, yeah, the Velocio Recon, the new one, is really a
01:02top pick for commuting backpacks.
