00:00It's cold outside, it's hard to motivate, but it's probably time to start putting a little
00:06bit of work in so that you're ready for when it warms up and we're back outside riding.
00:11I follow a training plan that's a coach tells me what to do.
00:14I find that very helpful, but even times when there's workouts, they start to get a little
00:20monotonous and like staring at watt targets and heart rates and all of that can really
00:25kind of be a drag.
00:25It's just like you're there, you and the clock, that's all there is.
00:29So that's where jumping in these silly little Zwift races really comes into play and like
00:34they might not always be the perfect thing, but I find that it's a good way to trick myself
00:39into getting that harder effort in, like in these months when you're not really doing
00:43that outside and like you don't really want to be doing those hard efforts.
00:49But you jump in, there's a bunch of other people doing the same thing.
00:52You're chasing them down, you're going up a climb, you're trying to be a little tactical
00:55and next thing you know, you've done a half an hour to an hour of like really good varied
01:00intensity work and you're done and you feel a little bit more accomplished.
01:05And maybe by the time racing starts up, you'll have some good legs.
01:08They could not try guys.
01:08TSHRPER
01:09Yeah, I am.
01:09Oh nice, that was a nice job of Dot.
