Bicycling's Tara Seplavy gives her tip on wrapping bars.
Transcript
00:00Lots of folks have problems wrapping handlebars. It's one of those things that
00:03constantly gives people just a little bit of anxiety. They want everything to
00:08look nice and clean and proper. Old-school trick that I've used for
00:13literally decades is using pin spanners to hold you tape in place. Before you go
00:19and use some electrical tape or finishing tape to get the job done, you
00:23want to make sure everything's nice and even, get all the wrinkles out, any sort
00:28of bubbles or anything like that, look in your toolbox. Find a set of the old pin
00:32spanners. Don't throw these away. Maybe you're not using them on your bike anymore
00:36but they are absolutely perfect old-school hack for setting up your bars, getting
00:41everything nice and dialed on your tape job.
