00:08Previously on The Apprentice...
00:09I'm giving one team chickens and the other eggs.
00:13Guys, I'm getting stressed, man.
00:15Team egg cracked under pressure.
00:17If we don't make any money, this is a profit house. We will lose.
00:19And on team chicken...
00:21Can I interest you in a chicken and mushroom pie?
00:23Dan's approach ruffled feathers.
00:26I think we're struggling to shift the pies. Do you want to revise your tactic?
00:29I think we just hold the price.
00:31In the boardroom...
00:32Your pies ended up making a decent clasp.
00:35Vindication for Dan...
00:37Good job, Bonnie. Proud of you.
00:39...meant it was Tanmay...
00:40What the hell was you doing?
00:42...who got plucked.
00:44You're fired.
00:538pm...
00:53I don't feel like you got a chance to be a PM,
00:56because people are continuously talking for you.
00:58Yeah.
00:59Do you know what?
01:00I think there were clearly some gaps in Dan's project management and leadership.
01:04I was just trying to highlight them and point them out.
01:06I think Connor has been speaking for a lot of people in here.
01:09I think he potentially could be going up for a PM.
01:13I'll get it.
01:14Next, Michael.
01:20Hello.
01:23Hi.
01:24This is Big Zoo.
01:25Big Zoo.
01:25Your presence is required for your next task at the Crossness Pumping Station.
01:31Lord Sugar will meet you there at 8am.
01:33Oh, my God.
01:34It's Big Zoo.
01:36What's going on?
01:38Big Zoo just called to tell us to meet him at the Crossness Pumping Station at 8am tomorrow.
01:43Guys!
01:45Big Zoo!
01:46Big Zoo!
01:47He's a rapper, entertainer, he has a Big Zoo show.
01:50Oh, yeah!
01:50Big Zoo's big, bro!
01:52I think it's an advertising task for his new song or something.
01:55What?
01:56Big Zoo!
01:57Big Zoo!
01:57I mean, I haven't got a clue who he is.
02:04In South East London, Crossness Pumping Station.
02:09A Victorian engineering marvel with a practical past.
02:28Good morning.
02:29Good morning, Long Sugar.
02:31This place was designed by Joseph Bazalgette, a Victorian engineer that introduced the city's
02:39first sewerage network, transforming the health of Londoners who had been drinking contaminated
02:46water for decades.
02:48So, for your next task, I want you to create a campaign for a new bottled water.
02:54You'll build a brand, shoot a TV ad, and showcase your product live on social media.
03:03Now, I need to even the teams up.
03:07Harry, where are you?
03:08Yes, Long Sugar.
03:09Please move over to Team Eclipse.
03:14Now, you've had a few weeks to get to know each other, so I'd like you to choose your project
03:19managers right now.
03:22TV, social media, pitching, confident with them, but I need help with the branding and
03:27design.
03:27I don't have a water bottle idea, but I'm happy to bring it to life.
03:31You should put yourself forward to Connor.
03:34Do you want to actually be a project manager first?
03:37Mm-hm.
03:38I do.
03:38Campaigns for promotion.
03:40I feel like I can help you, but I don't do the social media bit.
03:44OK.
03:46Have you decided?
03:47Yes, Long Sugar.
03:48OK.
03:49Team Alpha, who's your project manager going to be?
03:52I put myself forward, Long Sugar.
03:54Right.
03:54Given his experience in social media, that makes sense.
03:57Team Eclipse, same question.
04:00Karishma.
04:01Right.
04:02Why?
04:03So, I'm a social media consultant and I've been present on social media for the last seven
04:07years working as an influencer and content creator.
04:09OK.
04:11Now, this is all about creating a bold brand.
04:15Somebody who has achieved that is this gentleman here.
04:21Welcome, Big Zoo.
04:24Well gone.
04:26Hi guys, doing?
04:27I'm Big Zoo.
04:27You may know me as a rapper, TV chef, but what some of you don't know is I started a
04:32canned water brand two years ago called Drip.
04:34We changed the game.
04:35One thing we did is prove that water isn't boring.
04:38Thank you very much for that.
04:40You'll be pitching your campaign to this gentleman here and a panel of experts.
04:47But ultimately, I will decide whose advertising campaign is the best.
04:53Everything clear?
04:55Yes, sir.
04:55I'll see you in the boardroom in a couple of days' time.
04:59Off you go.
05:02Two days to tap into the bottled water market by building new brands and creating new
05:08marketing campaigns.
05:09I'm really grateful for the opportunity to be your PM today, guys.
05:12Thirsty for a win?
05:14I would really like to create a drink for people who are passionate about sports.
05:18Content creator, Karishma.
05:21I'm someone who's newly into fitness.
05:23Looking after myself, going to the gym and keeping myself hydrated only recently became a priority for me.
05:28I think we can motivate people to actually get into the gym through this campaign.
05:32Which is a big one.
05:32Yeah, I like that.
05:32Which is a big one.
05:33You're changing lives, but with water.
05:35You know, it is a very simple product, but if we can actually put the metaphor of transforming one's lifestyle,
05:40it's powerful.
05:42This is what I do every single day.
05:44Brands give me an idea, I turn it into real life, and then I make the millions.
05:48So that is exactly what I do day to day, and that is exactly what I get to do today.
05:53Well, everyone, thank you so much for selecting me as PM.
05:56Setting out his strategy.
05:58I'm definitely going to be listening to the team and ultimately collectively making a decision together.
06:03Absolutely.
06:03Yeah.
06:04First time project manager, Connor.
06:07First things first is to choose our target market.
06:10Does anyone have any strong ideas?
06:12I think the commuter area, I definitely don't drink enough water, so could that be an area that we actually
06:17target?
06:18So I was thinking sports, if I'm being completely honest.
06:20I think sports in general has rapidly grown.
06:23But it would be really easy to promote it to commuters.
06:26Yeah.
06:27Everyone is getting into sports now, so it's probably good to maybe go down that route.
06:30Yeah, Roxy, what do you think?
06:32I feel like I'm drifting towards the commuting side.
06:35Okay.
06:35Does anyone feel extra strongly?
06:40Do we want to take a vote?
06:41Is that the quickest way to solve it?
06:44This is the first time Connor has been project manager, and in the past he has controlled the team from
06:49the back seat.
06:50But now he actually has the opportunity to control things.
06:53He's putting everything to the vote.
06:55I mean, that's all well and good, but at some point as project manager, you've got to make a decision.
06:59So for commuters?
07:02Okay, so collectively I think we're going to go with commuters.
07:05All happy?
07:05Yeah.
07:06Brilliant.
07:06Perfect.
07:08Next job for project manager Karishma.
07:11So who here feels confident with social media marketing?
07:13Decide who does what.
07:15I do.
07:16That's what I do in my day to day.
07:17Would you like to be on my sub-team leader?
07:18I would love to.
07:20Just on that, just with me having a marketing agency as well, I do a lot of adverts.
07:25I'd feel comfortable being able to lead the TV advert team.
07:28Mm-hmm.
07:28I will be taking care of the TV advertisement.
07:32And with me, Lawrence, Kieran, Megan.
07:35Branding team will be Carrington, our social media expert.
07:38Harry, Priyash, and Andrea.
07:41I want it to be eye-catching, bold colours, nothing boring, nothing ordinary.
07:47As a team, we voted for Karishma to be the PM because of her social media skills.
07:53And I'm actually quite shocked that she didn't put herself on that side.
07:55So she could have just brought her social media expertise through on that.
07:59I've got every confidence.
08:00Let's make something extraordinary, guys.
08:04Roxanne, do you mind if I put you on the branding team with Levi, Rajan, and Dan?
08:07Yeah.
08:08Anyone on the branding team want to put themselves forward for sub-PM?
08:12Has anyone had any experience in branding?
08:14Has anyone created, like, a brand from scratch?
08:16Both.
08:17So I've got experience in both areas.
08:19Give Roxanne the rain?
08:20Give on, Dan.
08:20Keep the boys in check.
08:21Yeah.
08:22Okay, perfect.
08:23I want it to be seen as the water bottle that you carry around with you,
08:25almost like the replacement of your phone.
08:27I trust you with this vision.
08:28I know it's a little bit loose, but I trust you.
08:3310am.
08:35The teams divide, while half pour their efforts into ad campaigns.
08:40The way I do ads is you're not selling a product, you're selling a feeling,
08:43and people spend millions on a feeling.
08:45The rest will build their brands.
08:49Connor was a bit vague, I'm not going to lie.
08:52He said something to replace the phone in your hand with.
08:56Bit of an ambiguous kind of, like, description from PM,
08:59but I think, you know, we've got the right person in the seat today.
09:02We'll do fantastic.
09:04South East London.
09:06Base for both teams.
09:08Leading design agency, 10 days.
09:11Hello.
09:12Hey, you all right?
09:13Good afternoon.
09:14Top of the to-do list.
09:15I think the best one might be Thrive.
09:17Nail down a name.
09:18With the word Thrive, I can imagine going to the gym.
09:21It's bright, brand-in, colourful, poppy.
09:24Also brainstorming brand names.
09:26I thought maybe calling it North, because people always say
09:28the water from the North is better.
09:30The other team.
09:32Yeah, I like that idea.
09:34What about, like, North H2O? Yeah.
09:37It tastes better from the North.
09:38It's an OK name, but I'm just worrying the people who don't get it,
09:42they're going to be like, well, I don't get it.
09:44I think we could definitely make it work.
09:46We can just make it fun and exciting.
09:48Do you know what I think would be good?
09:50North H2O supporting you to reach your peak.
09:53Yeah, I love that.
09:54But you're dividing demographics.
09:56I'm just worried about the connotations of the North and South divide.
09:59But then maybe in the logo, we can do some mountains as well.
10:03You know, we are supporting everybody to reach their peak.
10:06I think it's tricky.
10:07I think it's a bit of a risk.
10:09Dan came up with this idea of North water,
10:11because water tastes better up north.
10:14But actually, they shied away from the whole original concept,
10:17and it's now about mountains and peaks.
10:20Well, if you only half go down that message, nobody will get it.
10:24You either have to fully embrace it or drop it completely.
10:28I think it does look clean.
10:30I like the look of the peaks.
10:33Yeah.
10:38Across town...
10:39Everyone's on their phone and they're glued to it.
10:41While Pasha pitches an advert aimed at parched commuters...
10:45..and there's almost, like, this angel that's got this bottle.
10:49Everyone stops, everyone stares, and it's like a gaze.
10:53Yeah.
10:54On Karishma's team...
10:56I think the TV advert would be, like, boxing ring.
10:58Someone gets knocked down, they have a sip of the water,
11:00and they come back up.
11:02Estate agent Kieran plans a knockout campaign.
11:05I love that so much, because I want people to feel defeated,
11:08and then we pick them up.
11:09So, location-wise, I don't want to do gym.
11:12You don't want to do gym?
11:13It's not, no.
11:13It's too obvious.
11:14I want to go to this, like, enchanted-looking place.
11:18How do you want to do, like, the box and stuff?
11:20And, like...
11:20We don't have to be that literal.
11:22I'm thinking, like, he's getting knocked out.
11:24He's not getting knocked out by a fist.
11:25He's getting knocked out by the camera.
11:27We see you hit the floor.
11:28Bam! Yeah?
11:29I want somewhere with really exciting lighting.
11:32He drinks this water, and we have, like, a close-up shot
11:35of his eyes just, like, powering up.
11:38Like, he is one...
11:39Like that and go.
11:40Yeah, literally, just, like...
11:41We want it to be performance-enhancing water.
11:43I promise you guys I'll bring it to life.
11:45I can see it.
11:47I can just see what I want to do.
11:49So, like, other opinions...
11:50Thank you for sharing, but I know what I'm doing.
11:53And if you want to save a prop,
11:55boxers don't normally wear T-shirts,
11:57so I'm happy not to wear a T-shirt.
11:58Yeah, I bet you're not.
12:02Lunchtime.
12:04For Connor's team...
12:06Hey, Roxanne!
12:06..a chance to check in.
12:08So, the logo is North H2O.
12:12Our tagline is supporting you to reach your peak.
12:17We've got a few lines representing, like, mountain peaks.
12:21So, the mountains are actually showing
12:22that they're going to be reaching the peak drinking this water.
12:25Levi... Levi, sorry for interrupting.
12:26It's just mountains are extremely jarring to commuters.
12:30Commuters, you're thinking public transport.
12:31You're thinking tubes, bikes, quickness.
12:34I think it would make more sense once you see the logo,
12:37but also...
12:38If you're lost...
12:39If you're lost, you're finding yourself.
12:41The only problem with that is you're not going to be lost on your commute.
12:44And if you're lost on your commute, you're probably unemployed.
12:46We, luckily, have a very adaptable and agile team over here.
12:49So, we'll make it work.
12:50But I do think it is quite the challenge
12:52to make North and the mountainous range kind of fit,
12:56especially when we're going on a commute.
13:00East London.
13:02Location for Karishma's boxing themed ad.
13:05Oh, my God.
13:08An immersive cocktail bar.
13:10Oh, my God, it is Avatar, literally. Wow.
13:13Aiming to take the lead.
13:14We've got director...
13:16Megan.
13:16Marketing expert, Megan.
13:19Do you know when you can walk backwards, but you zoom in?
13:22Mm-hm.
13:22I forgot what that's called, I did it in media.
13:24Uh-huh.
13:24But can we try that, quits?
13:25Yeah, yeah, yeah, we can, yeah.
13:27Three, two, one, go.
13:30That's nice.
13:31OK, here, I want some movement.
13:33Look tough and rough.
13:34You're not having a good time here.
13:35You're scared that you're about to get beat up.
13:36Cool, and stop there.
13:38And then can we have a close-up shot?
13:39Hang on, are we doing the punch with the camera?
13:41Not just yet, not just yet.
13:42Right now, we're just recording that he's scared.
13:46I'm a bit confused why Karishma did appoint me
13:48to be the director of the ad fair if she was just
13:50going to lead it herself.
13:51I actually did media studies for A-levels,
13:54so I'm actually quite clued up with doing different
13:56camera positions.
13:57She's just taking on the whole load by herself.
14:00All right, three, two, one, action.
14:04And then hit him.
14:05Nice, nice, nice.
14:06Look like you're dying.
14:08All right, Lawrence, come in with the towel and the water.
14:10Open your mouth, Kieran.
14:11Nice, nice, nice, nice, nice.
14:13OK, I think he's drowning.
14:18Across town.
14:20Backdrop for North H2O.
14:22It's about three commuters on their journey to work.
14:25A boat on the River Thames.
14:27The angelic Rathna comes in, drinking North H2O.
14:31At the helm.
14:32Pasha, you're going to help me with directing.
14:34Two captains.
14:37And cue Rathna.
14:41Which direction is this boat heading?
14:43North.
14:44And cut.
14:45Rathna, you're going to go up and...
14:45Sorry, Colin, just to interject, do you not think it's better
14:48to do the other angle from the view of Vanessa?
14:51So what I was going to do is just...
14:52Oh, you're doing it twice.
14:53Just repeating now, the same one we did.
14:55I think you are just going straight onto the boat,
14:57because otherwise that's just going to be too long.
14:59Yeah, but that's where your chapter changed at the end of tomorrow.
15:01Do you guys want to walk on?
15:02And Rath, if you don't mind, just recording from this
15:05as they pop in over the boat.
15:08Yeah, perfect.
15:09That can cut there.
15:11Okay, and cut.
15:12Brilliant.
15:14I think it is great to have Pasha there.
15:16At some point we were being a little bit pedantic.
15:18I do think you can go back and forth all day saying,
15:21shall we record it like this, shall we record it like that?
15:23In a creative process like this, you do have to make those decisions.
15:26So if you could maybe record from here...
15:28What are you doing now?
15:29Well, it's just Rathna drinking the water again.
15:31But we've already got that.
15:34On the other team...
15:36I was thinking aluminium ball because it's recyclable.
15:38Yeah.
15:38It's got the cap.
15:39Vessel in the can.
15:41But are we all happy to go with that one?
15:42Yeah.
15:42Great.
15:43Next, a bold brand for their bottle.
15:45So the colour we need to decide is the main aluminium bottle now, I think.
15:49Yeah.
15:49I was thinking not primarily blue because that's boring.
15:52Oh, what about more orangey?
15:54Um...
15:54Mmm.
15:55I do like purple as well.
15:57Mmm.
15:57Don't love that one.
15:58I was thinking like yellow.
15:59Yeah.
16:00A very light pastel yellow.
16:02Yeah, that's nice.
16:03I like that.
16:03I like that.
16:04I think it needs to stand out.
16:05I was thinking about incorporating just a really bold tap with the drip hanging out.
16:10If I see a tap on a bottle of water, I think you'll give me tap water.
16:14Why am I paying for this?
16:15Well, they know it's not tap water because it's in a bottle.
16:18The team are not listening to me.
16:20Sometimes I do have some great ideas and I've done marketing on my business and it says
16:25what it does on the tin.
16:26Thrive, yeah, it's a brilliant word, but unless we introduce something that says it's
16:31a bottle of water, it's not a good branding.
16:34I just hope it's good.
16:36I'm worried.
16:36Yeah, so do I.
16:37It's very out there, but Karishma wanted something bold and it's all matching the colours.
16:41Yeah.
16:447pm.
16:45Do we need a picture or something on the back page?
16:47Oh, hang on a look.
16:48I think a compass.
16:49Yeah, it's perfect.
16:50For both teams.
16:51Uppercut.
16:52Bam.
16:53Guys, time really quick.
16:54Last shot.
16:55One more time, just one more time.
16:56Finishing touches.
16:57North.
16:58Page 2-0.
16:59Bravo, guys.
17:00Well done.
17:01Tomorrow, pitch campaigns that make a splash.
17:097am.
17:12You heard of everyone's sleep?
17:13Not enough, but...
17:14Tough as a tough.
17:17For Karishma...
17:17Let's have a look.
17:18Let's get a drum roll going.
17:19Let's get that out.
17:20The big reveal of her bottled water.
17:29I'm not going to lie, it's giving milk.
17:31It's giving milkshake a little bit.
17:35You know when you see this colour, you think banana milkshake, you think a little bit like
17:38a milky product.
17:39It reminds me of in primary school when you had to do IT and you did that font with the
17:44gradient, if I'm being completely honest.
17:47I think it's a little bit basic.
17:49I hope that's not bold.
17:55The sub team have missed the mark slightly and I think we're going to be overcompensating
17:59when we're trying to pitch it as water because it doesn't look like water at the moment.
18:03You just have to say that we are making a new, innovative product.
18:07There's nothing like this on the market at the moment.
18:08Honestly guys, it's going to come across as a dairy product.
18:15Across the hall.
18:16I'm excited.
18:17On Team North.
18:20Love it!
18:22Things go south.
18:25I thought we had quite a clear vision of what we wanted.
18:28Kind of like a mobile phone replacement.
18:29That cool water vessel that you really want to have and keep and hold.
18:33My biggest concern is the compass.
18:37The compass is extremely jarring for commuting.
18:40So one of the reasons why I wanted to put the compass on is because it's almost like, you know,
18:44whilst drinking this water, you're heading the right way, you're heading straight.
18:49It gives adventure.
18:50If we handed that to you and said, this is for your hiking.
18:53Yeah, that would be really good branding for hiking.
18:56Why do we have mountains?
18:58It doesn't actually look like mountains.
19:00No.
19:00It looks like a chart of some sort.
19:03It can tie in with the commute.
19:05The branding that we've seen this morning is absolutely diabolical, if I do say so myself.
19:10The logo doesn't make sense.
19:12I almost feel like they've tried to sabotage this whole task for one reason or the other.
19:17I think us as an advertising team did quite well to kind of adjust.
19:21Can I just interject? Sorry.
19:22Let's go.
19:23I think it does hit the brief. Obviously, Connor, you did say we have free reign on it.
19:28100% I did.
19:28I do think it's 100% salvageable.
19:32We need to pitch today. There's a lot of pressure.
19:34Ahead of presenting to industry experts...
19:37Everyone has different strengths in this team. I know that.
19:39Half of each team will promote their product live on social media.
19:43Megan, I would love for you to go over to the TikTok Live side today.
19:48While the rest edit TV ads.
19:51Yeah.
19:51Can I just make one suggestion? Obviously, it's up to you, whatever you want to do.
19:54But when we voted for you to be PM, it was because of your social media background.
19:58I actually did media at A-level and I did a lot of editing.
20:01So, do you think it might be better for you to go over to social media?
20:04Yeah.
20:05I completely get what you're saying, but I feel like I'm very needed in the editing of this video.
20:09There just cannot be two of me and I trust Carrington with the TikTok Live.
20:13She's done them before.
20:14So, go on there, just have a fun time.
20:18The pressure on me as a sub-team leader at the moment feels like a tonne of bricks, to be
20:22frank.
20:22I need to do really, really well in the live.
20:26Or I might as well pack my bags from now.
20:29I do think as I have experience in live streaming specifically, it would be advantageous for us, for me to
20:34swap over.
20:35From project manager Connor, a reshuffle for Roxanne.
20:39Roxanne, I'm going to take the reins from you.
20:41And for Pasha.
20:42I am going to trust Pasha as sub-team lead.
20:44A promotion.
20:45Does anyone have any concerns or queries about that?
20:48I don't have experience editing videos, so...
20:51Correct. I fully understand that. However, I do think we all have the vision.
20:54I have full trust in you after yesterday.
20:57Onwards and upwards, let's go north.
20:59Yeah.
20:59Let's go.
21:0210am.
21:04Half of each team set off to conquer social media.
21:07Listen, you can have a rubbish product, and if your TikTok Live is fantastic, you can sell anything.
21:14While the rest will edit their adverts.
21:17Very disappointed. It looks like a milkshake.
21:21I think we, um...
21:22Oh, sorry, Harry. I forgot you were in the team.
21:26South East London. Edit base for both teams.
21:30Hello, Rhys. How are you doing?
21:33Pulling no punches.
21:35Is this just all our shots just like going on to one?
21:37Yeah, so put everything into the timelines.
21:39Project manager, Karishma.
21:40So this, I want to start with the motion immediately.
21:43Should we get the scene sorted?
21:45Do you know what I think would be helpful?
21:46Yeah, this is...
21:47This is what we're doing.
21:50So stop there, and start there, yeah.
21:52So I just want this bit. Just want that bit.
21:55We, not I, yeah? We just want that bit.
21:58Yeah, we just want that bit.
21:59Yeah, we just want that bit.
21:59Yeah, cut there.
22:00Karishma?
22:01Yeah.
22:02Just a bit worried that we spent quite a lot of time already with this clip.
22:05We just need to have something that's finished,
22:07even if it's not absolutely perfect.
22:09This will be done in the next two minutes.
22:11Erm, so if you play from here.
22:15I'm feeling a little bit stressed, as is everyone else.
22:18Er, me, Laurence, Harry are all sat there like soft thumbs,
22:20while Karishma takes over.
22:22One thing, just with that writing, still water 500 millilitres.
22:26You don't need to write 500 millilitres in the ad.
22:28OK, fine, whatever you say.
22:33There's a few things that we need to do to begin with.
22:36Making her editing debut.
22:38We need to get the voiceover done,
22:40and I think we need to pick the music before we get into the editing.
22:44Newly appointed sub-team leader, Pasha.
22:47Can we play through all the music that we've got?
22:50Sure.
22:51Already, that's nice.
22:53Nice, a bit too upbeat.
22:55Yeah, no.
22:58No, it's giving country.
22:59It's giving country.
23:03Guys, don't you think we should edit the video first?
23:05We're going to edit it all in a minute.
23:08We just have to make sure we're happy with the song,
23:10so we can get that agreed.
23:14OK.
23:15Pasha's plan of action, basically, to just jump into the music,
23:18there's no real structure to the actual story.
23:21That's the most important part of the actual film.
23:25This part's not going to start.
23:26Yeah.
23:27Yeah.
23:28Should we get that agreed?
23:29Yeah, let's do that song, yeah.
23:31Now we need to get the voiceover sorted.
23:33I want to include something about hydrating.
23:35Why do we think of this?
23:36Why don't we start editing?
23:38Personally, I think that the editing of the clips will be the quickest part.
23:41Why don't we stop?
23:44Central London.
23:47In one hour, teams will host live streams on global platform TikTok.
23:53We lose them within three seconds if we don't have something fun and engaging.
23:56To hook in an audience.
23:58We want to make sure everyone understands their branding or thrive.
24:01And showcase their brands.
24:04I have some experience in live streaming.
24:06My idea is to open it as we close it.
24:08Are you team Levi or are you team Roxanne?
24:11By the end of the live stream, one of these is going to get doused in water.
24:14Right?
24:15You want to go the whole way to the end of the live stream to figure out who loses
24:18and who almost gets dunked in water.
24:20Yeah.
24:20Dan, I do think you should be like fact finder Dan.
24:23So Dan literally walks in and you give a really simple, or like water is transparent
24:28and then walks out of shot and I say, thanks Dan.
24:32Let's go live stream.
24:33Yes, let's do it.
24:34Let's go folks.
24:3911am.
24:41Tuning in to watch the lives, drinks boss Big Zoo.
24:45All right guys, it's going to go live.
24:46Along with other experts from the worlds of water, advertising and social media.
24:53Stop scrolling and stop exactly where you are.
24:56In just under five minutes, you will get to decide who is going to be doused and covered in water.
25:02Is it going to be Roxanne?
25:04Hello.
25:05Or is it going to be team Levi?
25:08How we doing everybody? Are you all right?
25:11A nice slick start.
25:12I think it was a good idea to like hook that audience.
25:15I want to know who you want to see dunked in water.
25:19Is it Levi or is it Roxanne?
25:20I like him.
25:21He's good on camera.
25:22He's got, he's got good energy.
25:23He's like, I'm Bec.
25:24Yeah.
25:25I'm going to show you how to drink it.
25:28Woo!
25:29Oh, taste test.
25:30Live taster.
25:31Okay.
25:33That is incredible if I don't say so myself.
25:37I'm here to introduce you.
25:39The man with the plan and he is called Dan.
25:44Oh, it rhymes.
25:47He's got quite lyrical there.
25:48Lyrical miracle.
25:49And he's got a fan.
25:50I don't know.
25:51Go Dan.
25:52They've brought the chaos which can work in a live stream.
25:55Water is the most consumed beverage in the world.
25:59Ooh!
26:01Anything else?
26:02Oh, that's it.
26:03Dan is done.
26:03Dan wins everything for me.
26:06What a random dude.
26:07Next up is Levi.
26:08Please introduce yourself.
26:09Go Levi.
26:09How are we doing everybody?
26:10I'm Levi.
26:11I am the active commuter.
26:13Our audience might be thinking or looking forward to the dunking rather than finding out about
26:18the product itself.
26:19Right.
26:19We're going to do one final countdown.
26:21Three.
26:22Levi.
26:22Levi.
26:24Levi.
26:25Levi.
26:27He's a strong host.
26:28He's a strong host.
26:29Yay!
26:31Thank you everyone.
26:33Please introduce yourself.
26:33Your North H2O supporting you to reach your peak.
26:37Thank you very much.
26:39See you.
26:39Well, thirsty after that.
26:40I feel like the North H2O lot had a very engaging hook in their live video.
26:46Very clear plan.
26:47That is such an important part of live streaming and they definitely succeeded there.
26:51I think the dunking will be the key takeaway from that live stream and maybe not the product,
26:56but still a really great effort.
27:00Next to launch their water to the world.
27:03Hello!
27:04Hello!
27:05Woo!
27:05Strive.
27:06Hi guys, how are we all doing?
27:08We have an exciting new product to show you today, which is called...
27:15FRIVE!
27:16Like Bananary.
27:18Yeah.
27:19It's giving him milkshake.
27:20We are a fitness water brand.
27:22Look at these bold colours.
27:24Imagine when you're going to the gym, taking a selfie in your gym clothes and doing that.
27:28Oh!
27:29Look at your six pack and all that.
27:31The product's not shouting fitness though.
27:33Still water.
27:35500ml.
27:36Easy.
27:36Yeah.
27:37Not in your bag.
27:37Small.
27:38It's very silly.
27:40It's very silly.
27:41They ain't giving me much.
27:42It's getting a little bit repetitive isn't it?
27:44FRIVE!
27:44FRIVE!
27:45Sip to thrive and feel alive!
27:48I just had a sip and I feel alive!
27:50Yeah.
27:52Starting to run out of gas, I think.
27:55I think so.
27:55Yeah.
27:56You see it's on a shelf and you think, wow.
27:58Yeah.
27:58Isn't this amazing?
28:00Yeah.
28:00They haven't given me a reason to stay engaged.
28:01Yeah.
28:02Hey guys!
28:03Oh!
28:04Look at me!
28:05Oh!
28:05You're going to stop wearing it.
28:08Let's do a cheers!
28:09Controlled chaos is okay.
28:11This to me seems like uncontrolled chaos.
28:13It's a new, innovative water bottle.
28:16Sip to thrive and feel alive.
28:22They just didn't give me a reason to stay on a line.
28:24Yeah, there was no hook.
28:25Perhaps if they'd maybe thought about the narrative better,
28:28maybe scripted things, that would have helped them.
28:32Back at the edit...
28:33This is the boxing ring.
28:35Ding, ding, ding!
28:37Right, let's do that again.
28:38Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait!
28:40As the boys add final bells and whistles...
28:44Nice.
28:45That's great, well done.
28:46Still stuck at the starting line, Pasha.
28:49I think we've got a good outline, it's just that little bit
28:52that we need to sort of join us on a journey through the...
28:57Through the...
28:57I need to tell you, you've got half an hour.
28:59Okay.
29:00How long are we on the video at the moment, Raph?
29:03We're on 48 seconds now.
29:05I'll just play through you, tell me where to cut.
29:06Where she's walking, get rid of the walking.
29:08So we don't need any of these.
29:11Let's take that cut there.
29:12I think it's factual, if you could just play that.
29:14Crop that one.
29:18Leave the reaction, we don't have time for that.
29:20Yeah, from that bit.
29:22Supporting you to reach your peak.
29:25Done.
29:26That is, that went so fast.
29:312pm.
29:32Hi, guys!
29:33Before pitches begin...
29:35I want it to be highly professional, very entertaining, very personalised and human.
29:40For both teams...
29:41Hi, everyone!
29:43...a chance to check in.
29:44I understand that I put a lot of pressure on you specifically, Pasha.
29:46How did it go?
29:48The only issue that we had is how many clips were filmed yesterday.
29:52The amount of videos we had to go through was so many.
29:56I think I want you to be aware that we didn't even have a chance to do a full run
30:00-through.
30:01Like, we literally had one to the last second.
30:03What do you mean by a full run-through, so you've not seen it from start to finish?
30:06We haven't been able to see it from start to finish, but we did watch bits and bobs as it
30:10was getting cut together.
30:12Did the ad make sense?
30:13There might be a few things that might, like, be pointed out, not being 100% cohesive, but we obviously
30:18really did try it.
30:24Mid-afternoon.
30:26Showtime.
30:29Hello!
30:30How are you today?
30:31Riding high from their TikTok triumph, North H2O.
30:36I am delighted to introduce our new water brand.
30:40North H2O is targeting commuters.
30:43Be that the busy workaholic or the tired, worn-down working professional.
30:50Big Z looks a bit concerned.
30:53What North H2O is...
30:57When you're in your journey, throughout the hustle and bustle,
31:05whenever you start to fatigue down in your journey, take a bit of North H2O, and it will pick you
31:11up and elevate you back up to your peak levels.
31:13He doesn't seem confident.
31:15We kind of opted to go for a carton.
31:17We were also thinking of going towards down the can route, but, you know, the cans, I feel like a
31:22lot of people are doing them at the moment.
31:23And also, if you haven't opened a can, you're going to have to drink that in one sitting.
31:27Um, the carton, you know, you lot are dissing up the cans. I'm a can man.
31:31So I'm going to take that to my heart now.
31:35Sir.
31:37Um, so without further ado, let's watch the advert.
31:44Which direction is this boat heading?
31:46Lord.
31:49This is your first time seeing it.
31:51Yeah, I've never seen this.
31:58Excuse me, what drink is that?
32:03North H2O.
32:05Supporting you to reach your peak.
32:09Welcome to the floor for any questions.
32:12I'm Jolion White.
32:13I am the Chief Creative Officer and founder of the creative agency, 10 Days.
32:18I just think with the ad, I kind of feel like I saw something quite, like, quite dull.
32:26Imagine you're scrolling.
32:28Would you stop if you saw that opening frame?
32:31Thank you for your question.
32:33Um, if I saw someone who looks like me on the way somewhere, really busy,
32:37I can't be intrigued.
32:38Like, what's going on here?
32:39I get tapped on my shoulder and asking me where I'm going.
32:41And then with that attitude, I've gone north.
32:44I want to know what's going on right now.
32:45So I would stop.
32:48Hi, I'm Joanna Moncrief, Head of Marketing at Canowater.
32:52Given you've gone with commuters as your kind of target market,
32:55what made you decide to have the compass branding and the sort of slightly mountainous look?
33:02Yeah.
33:04Yeah, absolutely.
33:05So with the mountainous look, I mean, as though it kind of might look like a mountain,
33:09it's more representative of your journey going down.
33:12And then when you drink the water, it goes back up to reach your peak.
33:15Thank you so much.
33:16Thank you very much.
33:17Have a lovely evening.
33:19Wow.
33:20Wow.
33:20How are you guys feeling?
33:22That was really hard to watch.
33:25Yeah, that was hard.
33:26Yeah, I think from my perspective, they did a really good job at the live stream.
33:30And none of that came through on the ad?
33:33No, definitely.
33:33It felt like someone in the branding had a very different idea to someone in the ad cam.
33:37Yeah.
33:41Next, to take the stage...
33:43Good afternoon, everyone.
33:44Thrive.
33:46Thank you so much for joining us for the launch of our brand new product, Thrive.
33:52Thrive is about bottling that feeling of change, of self-improvement,
33:57of doing something for yourself that changes the world so that you can thrive.
34:02I would like to introduce you to a concept that I like to call the Thrive Turning Point.
34:07This is defined by that very second in your life where you decided to stop being ordinary and stop just
34:14merely existing.
34:16We're not just selling water.
34:17We're selling the feeling, the sensation of walking away from the cusp of failure
34:22and challenging yourself every single day to create change.
34:26So with no further ado, let's have this video play.
34:47I think we've smashed it. That was good.
34:49Yeah. I really like the ad.
34:51I think the ad was electric.
34:52I love when you punched the floor and you was getting up and then the water splattered.
34:56The only reservation I have from it is that it almost looks like the water gives you power,
35:00which I feel like sometimes can be misleading, especially in the water game.
35:03Especially when you had that final sip and your eyes opened up. It's like, yo, I'm awake now.
35:09What it comes down to is, and like we've all been saying, it's a feeling that you get. So you
35:15thrive, you're hungry to do better. It doesn't give you powers, but it gives you almost a sense of security.
35:22Yeah, right on.
35:24Who directed the ad?
35:28The ad was directed by myself, yeah.
35:31It's pretty damn good.
35:33Thank you, sir.
35:33Yeah, it's pretty damn good.
35:34Just want to come back to the bottle. This is giving banana milkshake.
35:39It just does feel quite childish. Like, it's giving CBDs.
35:43For such an adult ad, to have almost a childish bottle feels like a bit of a letdown.
35:48Thank you so much for the question and the feedback. That's really helpful to hear and we'll take it on
35:52board and it's appreciated.
35:53Our main goal was being different and the fact you've pointed that out shows that we've sort of hit a
35:58mark to some extent.
35:59Thanks so much.
36:02It was a very good ad. It captured you, it was interesting.
36:09What we kind of agree is give him banana milkshake.
36:12Yeah. It's definitely gonna be nice.
36:14Oh, yeah. Without doubt.
36:167pm.
36:17Well done, Krishna.
36:18Let the shit well.
36:19Pitch is over.
36:21We said about the milkshake thing, you knew it was gonna come.
36:23Yeah, we knew it was coming, yeah.
36:24We knew that there was gonna be challenges and obstacles that we had to overcome.
36:27We took accountability and we tried to answer them with the best perspective that we could.
36:33Tonight, back to the house.
36:37Tomorrow, sink or swim.
36:44Morning, morning.
36:45You all right?
36:46Good, G?
36:46Yeah, not bad.
36:47Do you feel confident that your team have done an after-win?
36:50The video was absolutely out of this world.
36:53Because you were in it?
36:55Yeah.
36:57I'm sad you had to go up against me, to be fair.
36:59Oh, she talks a big game.
37:01She does.
37:02You seem to talk to talk, hope you can walk the walk.
37:04I don't walk, I strap, babe.
37:13I'm not going home today, and I will be fighting till my last breath, because this is what I do.
37:18I'm feeling nervous about going into the boardroom.
37:20As PM, it's easy to be the fall guy.
37:22I will be holding my team accountable for their missteps.
37:25There are some questions that I have.
37:27My head's a bit scrambled right now, I just don't know what Lord Sugar is gonna think.
37:32I just know I've done my best and that's all I can do.
37:38You can go through to the boardroom now.
37:54Well, this is one of my favourite tasks.
37:56I spent a lot of my business career creating adverts and marketing.
38:01What I've forgotten about advertising, you haven't even learnt yet.
38:06So, let's start off with the clips.
38:09Karishma, you chose to be project manager, is that right?
38:12Yeah, I create ads for other brands for a living.
38:15Tell me about the ideas that you came up with.
38:17So, I really wanted to go down the fitness category, just because it's such a vastly growing one.
38:23For me, that was a clear vision in my head what I wanted to do with this.
38:27Okay, and you came up with this name, Thrive.
38:30Yeah.
38:31Now, when I see this, first of all, it came across to me as if this was like a milky
38:36type of product.
38:38Yeah.
38:38Yeah, the yellow looks like isotonic custard to me, quite frankly.
38:44The reason for the yellow was through its positivity and sunshine.
38:48Is this yellow supposed to be sunshine, is it?
38:50Well, it's like a subtle yellow and I think when you...
38:53It's very subtle, yeah.
38:54We thought the same thing that you thought, Lord Sugar.
38:56We thought it looked a bit like a milkshake.
38:58We just had to do with what we had.
39:00Hmm.
39:01Well, let's take a look at your TV advert.
39:20Hmm.
39:22Thrive was appearing in the advert for Ciaran, from what I can understand.
39:26That's correct, Lord Sugar.
39:26Yeah.
39:27No, what I'm trying to say is the advert was all about Ciaran and yet raging bull, it's
39:33not.
39:33De Niro or Stallone, you're not.
39:36Anyway, I spoke to the panel.
39:39Electric advert with loads of energy.
39:43It does, however, make you think that water gives you actual power, which is maybe a bit misleading.
39:50So, with the fitness side of things, you drink it as an encouragement drink, but it gives
39:55you that motivation to go to the gym, to exercise.
39:58Yeah, but it's only water.
39:59It's not like it's an energy drink.
40:01Anyway, the social media, I saw that also.
40:06Ciaran, you were sub-team leader.
40:07Yeah.
40:08I do live streams quite a lot in my personal life.
40:11We had ample energy.
40:13They seem to really like the product.
40:14Yeah, I've got some feedback.
40:17A bit too much talking over one another, but it's not very engaging.
40:23Lord Sugar, if I may, I think the reality is you were very hard on the sale, and I suppose
40:28with your experience of live, you could have done slightly better, no?
40:31I thought it went well, but that's...
40:33Did you?
40:33Well, let me tell you what my panel had to say.
40:36They said that one was better.
40:38Yeah.
40:40So, overall, good project manager?
40:42Yes.
40:43Yes, I think so.
40:44Yeah.
40:45I'd actually say that Karishma knew what she was doing.
40:48I mean, I was impressed with the quality of her work.
40:50I do think Karishma did a really good job.
40:52The only thing for me is I did voice that I would like to be sub-team leader.
40:56With having a marketing agency, I thought a lot of my skills were really valid for this project.
41:01You're saying that your talent was not exploited in this task?
41:05Carrington is simply just stronger when it comes to social media, whereas Meghan's strengths lie in advertising.
41:11And that was said by yourself.
41:13That's your opinion, is it?
41:13That's your opinion?
41:14No, no, no.
41:14This was a statement made by Meghan, and I'm pretty sure we can all agree that that's how that went.
41:19It wasn't picking...
41:19Yeah.
41:19If Carrington was weaker in a certain task, she wouldn't have been chosen.
41:22Anyway, let's move on to Team Alpha.
41:26Connor, you said when you became project manager that you bring ideas to life.
41:33Correct.
41:33So my history is in live streaming, and I'm confident and comfortable in pitching.
41:38OK.
41:39And you chose commuters.
41:41And then Dan came out with this north.
41:44Is that right?
41:44Yeah, that was my idea.
41:46I wanted to do a play on words that the water up north is better.
41:49Is it?
41:49Yeah, I think a lot of...
41:51Is that because it rains more up there?
41:53No, it's like a joke that a lot of people say whenever they come down to London, they say the
41:56water tastes better up north.
41:58Don't you think it'd be alienating people in the south then?
42:00We did point that out.
42:01That was exactly my point, Lord Sugar.
42:03In the morning brief, I expressed that, you know, we could be creating a bit of a divide here.
42:07Right.
42:08The reality is it would have worked well, Lord Sugar, if my whole story concept had come to life.
42:13But the fact there was a bit of divide in terms of...
42:14Anyway.
42:15Anyway, yeah.
42:16Then you ended up with this, yeah?
42:18Yes.
42:19And then you got the compass on there.
42:21That's correct, Lord Sugar.
42:22So I proposed the compass to the team.
42:24And then also with the line on top of the north, it represents the progress chart.
42:29I know some people had mentioned it does look a bit like mountains.
42:33When you were designing it, you said you wanted it to look like mountains.
42:35It was nothing to do with the progress chart.
42:38And if I may, when we separated into our advertising and branding team, we never kind of spoke about it
42:43being the adventure themed.
42:44I thought collectively we did kind of go against the story of the north.
42:48Connor, sorry, Connor, you did mention that you said you'd give full reign to us, like free reign.
42:52No, I did.
42:53And in fairness, you also said that you've experienced in creating brands.
42:56When you saw that, was your reaction, what's this north and what's mountains all about?
43:02We were quite shocked, yeah.
43:03Yeah.
43:04All right, let's see this advert now, shall we?
43:08Which direction is this boat heading?
43:11North.
43:18Excuse me, what drink is that?
43:20North.
43:21H2O.
43:22Supporting you to reach your peak.
43:27Well, these are the experts. They said the advert was a bit old fashioned, boring.
43:32Yeah, I'm actually extremely proud of our team of how we pivoted to incorporate the branding name of North and
43:37kind of almost saying that the boat is going north.
43:39We had to make do with what we had. It was just making it work.
43:43Sorry, I disagree. I feel like you could have used the name North and done a bit more of a
43:49creative flair to it.
43:50But we didn't know the name.
43:51I personally do think it lacked creativity.
43:52And likewise with yourself, I think, you know, you put yourself forward as sub team leader and you have experience
43:57in logos and designing.
43:59Okay, so then you go and pitch and you haven't done your homework because a part of your pitch was,
44:06you know, canned water is old passé rubbish, you know.
44:10You've got two people on the panel, Big Zhu and Kano, whose water is supplied in cans. Not very clever.
44:19It was actually brought up in our pitch by Rajan.
44:21They were kind of almost...
44:22It's not good to impress them, mate.
44:23You should do your research, first of all.
44:25No, 100%.
44:26Okay, so look, good team leader?
44:29Yeah.
44:30Yeah.
44:31What's that mean?
44:32Just feel like from the morning brief, we could have had a bit more to go on.
44:35Right.
44:36Well, look, I've seen both adverts.
44:39I've listened to the experts.
44:41As you know, I was always going to make the decision on which the best advert was because of my
44:47experience.
44:49I think that Eclipse cinematography was much better than Alpha's advert.
44:57I think Alpha's advert, to me, with due respect, was boring.
45:03It looks like a ten-year-old's done it on his iPhone.
45:06And so, on that basis, I'm going to award the win to Eclipse.
45:12Thank you so much.
45:13Right, off you go.
45:15Back to the house.
45:17Well done, guys.
45:18Well done, sir.
45:20And I think there's a talent agent out there for the remake of Rocky V.
45:26Oh, my God.
45:28She's got to let me down.
45:30Oh, well done, guys.
45:32Well, as ever, I'd like you to go away, talk amongst yourself.
45:36Come back in here and do a more deeper dive into what went wrong.
45:42Off you go.
45:43Thank you, Michelle.
45:49So happy, guys, that we won that.
45:51Oh, my God, what a relief.
45:54We won on the video in the end.
45:55That's what made the decision.
45:56As a content creator, it was huge for me.
45:58You killed it.
45:59You know, both of you should be very, very proud.
46:01Thanks, mate.
46:02I'll be out for the BAFTAs this year, I reckon.
46:12Do the branding team take accountability that they made a brand that looks like an adventure water?
46:16I just feel like for the branding side of things, you were quite vague with that.
46:20Roxanne, you did say you had experience in branding.
46:22So I did leave a very vague and open brief.
46:24There was absolutely no direction from Connor.
46:27I feel like it's unfair if I am brought back into the boardroom today.
46:31Lord Sugar said at the end it was a boring advert.
46:33I do agree.
46:34It wasn't a most exciting video, but I told him in that meeting, just to let you know,
46:38I have no experience editing a video.
46:40Yes, the idea of the advert was mine, but the way that that was brought out,
46:44Connor really should have made that come to life.
46:47Rajanne, I do think, unfortunately, the compounding of the compass onto the water vessel
46:51did leave us in an extremely difficult position.
46:54Yes, OK, the branding wasn't fantastic that you were dealing with,
46:58but, you know, one of the first things that you said as PM was, you know,
47:00I bring stories to life.
47:02I'm disappointed with the branding.
47:04I'm extremely proud of the work that I did in order to make that work
47:07and to make that brand story fit.
47:09However, it's extremely different than the vision that we agreed on.
47:22Would you send the candidates in, please?
47:35Well, I believe you lost because of branding and the TV advert, both very, very poor.
47:42Now, Dan, you got this name, North, and you said, well, the thing was,
47:48it wasn't executed as to my total idea, right?
47:52Why didn't you pipe up, Dan?
47:54I didn't. I did say many times, but there was a lot of divide in the team that they wanted
47:59it to...
47:59Who did... Who was dividing in the team, then?
48:02The reason why we didn't apply his complete concept, Lord Trigger,
48:06was because it's a bit, you know, demographically prejudiced.
48:09It's a running joke. People get it or they don't. It's 50-50.
48:13So we decided to go away from Dan's water taste up north.
48:17But still kept the name.
48:18I mean, put simply, the name North is meaningless if you don't use the concept.
48:23Yeah. Branding team, I would ask for some accountability here.
48:28In all fairness, Connor, you were very vague with what you were actually wanting.
48:33You were just like, you know, I trust you guys
48:35and also just kind of do what you want with your free will.
48:38100%. And when I took this role as PM, I said, I have no branding experience.
48:41I trust you. You did say you have branding experience
48:43and I trusted you as PM.
48:45Well, I've got a beauty business, you know, I'm not like...
48:47So you've created logos and designs before.
48:49Now, when you look at this, when you look at this branding,
48:51you would think that Christopher Columbus would buy this as an explorer.
48:54Well, the logo looks like a road sign on the M6.
48:58Quite clearly, north, it's all gone south, quite honestly.
49:02Anyway, Connor and Pasha, I've heard that both of you were directing the cameraman
49:08and saying, do this, and then the other one would overstep and say, no, do that.
49:14So basically, we had two directors. Yeah?
49:17100%.
49:17I feel like I did take a step back and I was letting Connor predominantly lead.
49:22I didn't witness you taking a step back.
49:25OK.
49:26Um...
49:27Can I just add quickly, Lord Sugar?
49:29Yeah.
49:29So when we met on day two, it was very out of the blue.
49:33He sort of looked at me and said, Pasha, you're going to be doing the edit.
49:36Now, I said to Connor, I've never edited a video, a branding advert.
49:41So you're telling me he dropped you in it, is that what you're saying?
49:43I'm not, I'm not...
49:44He went off to do the social media thing because...
49:47Yeah, because that's what he does.
49:47That's where he's...
49:48That's what he does.
49:49100%.
49:49It's the only good thing he did do because your one was voted best by the social media experts.
49:57100%.
49:57And I'm...
49:58Anyway, where do you think the fault with this project lays?
50:03In my opinion, I think the fault on this project lays more with the video team.
50:09One of the first things Connor said was, I create stories into reality.
50:13There was no reality here.
50:15Right.
50:15Well, Connor, as the project manager, can I ask which two people are you bringing back into this boardroom?
50:22Um, I am going to bring back Rajan and Roxanne.
50:27Right.
50:28I think it's very quick for you to throw me under the bus, but...
50:33OK, the rest of you leave and go back to the house, and the three of you stay here.
50:38Pleasure.
50:43Well, look, you three are going to step outside.
50:46I'm going to have a chat with Baroness Brady and Tim, and then you'll come back in here when at
50:52least one of you is going to be going today.
50:54OK? Off you go.
51:01I think a couple of them had a lucky escape.
51:04Yeah.
51:10So, Connor, good talker, isn't he?
51:12Yeah, but actually no one in the team thought his instructions were very clear at all.
51:17And what about Rajan?
51:18The reality is that Rajan was responsible for some grave errors in the pitch, particularly saying negative things that impacted
51:26some of the judges.
51:27I think you're really going to have to narrow down on Roxanne.
51:31I mean, she was in charge of the branding, and the branding is, I'm afraid, I think, incredibly poor.
51:38Hmm.
51:39Yeah.
51:42Yes, could you send the three candidates in, please?
51:55Well, Connor, no clear concept from the brainstorm.
52:00No synergy between the ad and the product.
52:03Our initial concept, which I'm pretty sure you both knew and were aware of, that we were going for the
52:08mobile phone replacement.
52:09Something kind of sleek.
52:10That was kind of the concept.
52:11I trusted you with branding.
52:13Unfortunately, North H2O, with the mountains and supporting you to reach your peak, does have a narrative.
52:19And that is much more linked to an adventure brand.
52:21And, Roxanne, more specifically, a sub-team lead.
52:23I think you failed to take accountability for that, which I'm really disappointed by.
52:26Well, no, sorry.
52:28Can you interject there?
52:29Yeah, of course.
52:29Because as a leader, I wanted to hear everybody's opinions and voices.
52:33Levi threw in the bit about the peak, which ultimately everyone agreed on it.
52:40Connor, you've gone into why you brought Roxanne here as being the sub-team leader.
52:45Yeah.
52:45I'm loving to hear your reasoning.
52:48No problem.
52:48So you doubled down on making an adventure brand.
52:51You compounded it by adding in the compass.
52:53You dissed Big Zoo's brand itself.
52:56No, no, no.
52:57I mentioned that we went for a carton as opposed to a can to stand out.
53:01And I think there's a way that you can elevate the use of the carton without putting down a can.
53:06So what you're trying to say is you brought me back because I put a compass onto a bottle.
53:10Yes.
53:10You think that we have failed this task because a compass is on there?
53:13Is that what you're saying?
53:14I think you made it extremely difficult in the pitch.
53:17And I think it compounded...
53:18Not the mountains.
53:18Not the mountains or the actual name.
53:19All of this.
53:20So you agree that there are branding issues here?
53:22What you've achieved is that you've made tap ball to look exciting, quite frankly.
53:29Branding, Roxanne, you have to take responsibility for it.
53:34You're the sub-team leader.
53:35I do take, you know, accountability for some of the, you know, the branding.
53:41But ultimately, I don't believe I am the failure of this task.
53:45Where do you think the failure lays out the three of you then?
53:48I believe Connor.
53:49Easy to point out a project manager, isn't it?
53:51Well, it's not just because he's the leader, that's not it at all.
53:54The directing and the filming of the actual advert.
53:58When me, Pasha and the editing team were going into the second day,
54:02there was nothing for us to go off.
54:03There was no notes.
54:04That's not true.
54:05That isn't true.
54:07It was Pasha's vision and Pasha was the assistant director for a reason.
54:10So you're saying it's his responsibility?
54:12Well, he directed it.
54:13Okay.
54:13Yes, this week I took the reins at PM and I pivoted when we got the North.
54:17I swapped sides over to the live stream.
54:19I think we smashed that out of the park.
54:21Was the video a little bit boring?
54:22Yes.
54:23So I do take accountability for that.
54:25Right.
54:25Okay.
54:26I don't want to hear any more from anyone.
54:28So the way I see this, Connor, is that I'm impressed that you do take responsibility
54:35and you've taken responsibility for certain parts of the failure of this task.
54:40Right.
54:42Roxanne, I think a sub-team leader on the branding side, you have a lot to answer to.
54:49Rajan, to be disrespectful of the canned water to the two experts, was a major boob.
54:57I can't get to the bottom of whether you're shrewd enough for me.
55:02But, Connor, whether you allowed the social media to distract you from the main business that
55:10we were supposed to be doing could be one of the reasons why, regretfully, this task failed.
55:18I've just got to do this on a gut feeling at the moment.
55:23My gut feeling is that...
55:32Roxanne, you're fired.
55:34Thanks for the opportunity.
55:36Thanks, Tim.
55:37Thanks for the opportunity.
55:38Thanks, Lord Sugar.
55:45Connor, I like your spirit and determination.
55:50However, you need to focus in future.
55:53You two, go back to the house.
55:55Thank you, Lord Sugar.
55:59I'm sad that Lord Sugar didn't believe in me, but I back myself 100%.
56:03I've got a lucrative business and I can't wait to prove Lord Sugar wrong.
56:09I mean, no one backed my vision, unfortunately.
56:12I should have been PM, really.
56:13Oh!
56:14Oh!
56:15Guys, I really hope that Roxanne's coming back.
56:18Yeah, I actually walk quiet if Roxanne doesn't make it home today.
56:20I think Connor might make it back.
56:22Hi!
56:27How are you doing, boys?
56:29How are you doing, boys?
56:29You all right?
56:31Oh, boys, you've got to tell us what happened.
56:34So, I mean, Lord Sugar felt that.
56:36Roxanne was the person to blame.
56:38The branding aspect wasn't fantastic,
56:40and, you know, she was the one who got the finger.
56:42Who do you think's on thin ice now, then?
56:44I think everybody's on thin ice, but there's no room for hiding.
56:49Now, thin ice.
