00:06i'm going to be doing a quick discussion okay recently you have noticed this like stop showing
00:12on youtube videos right since they had that big announcement that they're going to
00:17not disappear the like button but just not show the like button stats and along with the likes
00:25and these other stuff and there's been a lot of opinions being around from this like a hell of a
00:31lot from all sides and it's mostly been a negative reaction to this understandably because most
00:39creators even though because they kind of come to agreement that yes there have been times where
00:46people use the dislike button to launch massive hate campaigns against certain creators or certain
00:54types of videos or whatever and to basically dump the actual criticism and blow that proportion and
01:01make it look like an actual you know hate mob you know delegitimizing their opinions or whatever
01:09all that stuff right and i'm not going to play a person and dismiss all of that like that does happen
01:15but this whole way youtube framed in a sense that okay we're gonna not take away this like button
01:22we're just gonna take away the numbers you can still decide the video but just won't see the dislike
01:29counter publicly however the way they frame this is that the creators can still see the dislike numbers
01:40right in their studio or whatever in their settings or whatever they can still see the numbers but
01:46you won't see it so it kind of makes the question why like like why even bother doing this and the main
01:53thing is and a lot of people are pouring this out so basically i'm just going to be repeating what people
01:59are saying but they are doing this to protect the public image for like the corporations the brands that
02:06are basically dominate me too as of late you know the national geographics the vivo channels
02:13these movie trailer channels all these big channels that promote all these corporate
02:19interests and these you know corporatized monopolized entertainment stuff that people have slowly
02:26you know backed out of those other ones that have been protected with this not the creators because most creators
02:40uh even though they're whether they take skin or not most creators are okay come to accept the whole fact
02:47that certain opinions will get you a lot of dislikes and certain opinions won't and most of them have
02:57already accepted that and how to interact with their communities their fan bases how to you know
03:05be real with them and to not get in that sort of situation whatever and most of them even if they
03:12are have been disliked down to hell living in they have been a customer deal with it you know so it's really stupid and
03:25some people have been saying at all you know they're gonna be doing this and then soon gonna be removing the
03:30comments all the other stuff and to be honest
03:35i think it's been long overdue the way how youtube is operating
03:38like how they've been operating since um the apocalypse from the 2016 2017 is period this was
03:49this was definitely going to come at some point okay i'm surprised they actually took
03:54as long as they did the whole lot before actually implementing this because if you guys didn't pay
03:59attention to the other formats like the youtube shorts that they have implemented like
04:04for over a year now you've been seeing these shorts and have it this different format it's more in line
04:10with a instagram tiktok snapchat design you look at the youtube shorts section every clip in the youtube
04:21shorts have no dislike counter like you can click dislike and click the likes but you only see the likes
04:27right and it's been like that like since youtube shorts came out and i've been watching that like
04:35okay if you look at the youtube shorts and you go to the creator channel
04:40and you open it up and like say browser you can see the dislikes right when you go in the shorts um
04:47oriented display you won't see them so i can tell from the once i started seeing these youtube shorts
04:54blowing up all over the place that this was going to happen at some point and it looks like they
05:00finally decided to push forward with it okay and from the looks of it comments will be next like
05:08and i couldn't even be surprised if they decided to disable comments next year whatever and it's going
05:15to be disappointing the people that still continues to go along with their bullshit after that point okay
05:21like that's the main thing here it comes through youtube and how this all the stuff you've been
05:27doing it's not just because the fact that they're doing it the fact that people are still supporting
05:31them doing it at this point you know and it sucks because when you look at youtube that's the major hub
05:37right now you know like that's where the go-to for all the creators and all the viewers to follow
05:43although you haven't seen people turn out from it slowly but only bit by bit you know because then
05:50there's also the whole pandemic stuff and how they been playing around with people's channels when
05:59it comes to discussing politics
06:04i'd say i made a good choice of stepping out of them when i had the chance even though i still use
06:12their site to like back up my content
06:14i mean me not like making them my official post will definitely the best move overall for the long
06:23term um hopefully more and more people actually decide to actually do that so we can actually
06:30change the tides here in this whole scenario you know but um i'm from my perspective of being on youtube
06:40for the seven years i don't expect that happening anytime soon but that's just my opinion do it
