President Droupadi Murmu visited the holy Tirumala Tirupati temple and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara Swamy. After the darshan, TTD priests performed Veda Ashirvachanam for the President at the Ranganayakula Mandapam. TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu presented her with Srivari portrait, prasadam, and the TTD 2026 calendar and diaries.
A heartwarming moment occurred during her return journey from the temple. Near the Rambhageecha Bus Station, President Murmu stopped her convoy, stepped out, and personally greeted devotees waiting by the roadside—breaking protocol to interact with the public. She also distributed chocolates to the pilgrims, winning the admiration of all.
