00:00Are you wondering what to wear on your first date so you can make the best impression,

00:03but you don't want to go out and spend a whole bunch of money?

00:05Well, I'm going to give you the simplest answer to this question.

00:08It will allow you to be yourself, not spend a lot of money,

00:10and also make a good impression on your first date.

00:12So stay tuned.

00:18What to wear on a first date.

00:20So what you wear on a first date is important,

00:22but it's not so important that you should really be spending a lot of time

00:24thinking about this or stressing about it.

00:26If you met this girl in person and she liked you and she gave you her number,

00:29that means she already wants to see you.

00:30So whatever you were wearing when you met her made a good impression.

00:33And more importantly, your personality made a good impression, right?

00:36It's not, it wasn't your clothing who approached her, right?

00:38And if you're meeting a girl from online dating,

00:40obviously she also likes what you're wearing and, you know,

00:43whatever else you're presenting in your photographs.

00:45So again, that's another hint about what you should be wearing on your first date.

00:48And that's where we're going to start.

00:49The simplified first date style rules.

00:52Here it is.

00:53Whatever you are wearing when you met her or whatever you are wearing in the photographs

00:56on your online dating profile is good enough.

00:59You don't need any kind of special clothing to impress this girl.

01:02She already likes your personality or she likes your photos and your messages.

01:05And that's all you need.

01:06So it doesn't mean you have to wear exactly the same clothing you had in your photos

01:10or when you met her, when you approached her,

01:12but you could just wear the same style, right?

01:14Whatever it is you're wearing is already good enough.

01:16Now, having said that, there are some variables and there are some nuances.

01:19It's going to depend what are you doing on your first date.

01:21Which brings us to the next topic, dressing appropriately.

01:24The importance of dressing appropriately for the occasion and the location.

01:27To dress appropriately, consider what you're doing.

01:29If you're going hiking, then obviously you're going to be wearing some kind of sporty clothes,

01:32some fitness stuff, maybe shorts, depending if it's warm weather or not.

01:35But if you're going ballroom dancing,

01:37then you're going to need to wear whatever it is they wear for ballroom dancing,

01:39which is obviously going to be considerably more fancy than hiking clothing.

01:43But if you're just going to a coffee shop or maybe grabbing a drink,

01:45then stay casual, stick with the style you had when you met her,

01:49and you'll be good to go.

01:49Now, considering your personal style and what makes you comfortable.

01:52If you dress up for a first date, but that's not your regular style,

01:55and in fact, if dressing up makes you even feel uncomfortable, right?

01:58It just doesn't, the clothing just doesn't fit right or look right to you.

02:01You're just trying to impress this girl.

02:02And chances are going to do much worse than if you just stuck to your regular style,

02:05your casual clothing, which fits well and feels nice.

02:08Plus, it puts a lot more pressure on you because you're putting on this big show,

02:11basically, to try to impress your date.

02:12And typically, when you're trying to impress your date too hard, it does the opposite.

02:16Your personal style should be uniquely you.

02:19If you feel good in your clothing already,

02:20then chances are you're going to feel much more comfortable around here

02:22and act more confident, which will equal more attraction.

02:25However, if your personal style is not something you like

02:27and you've been looking to make a change for a long time,

02:29then this might be a good opportunity to do it, right?

02:31To go to experiment, buy some new clothing,

02:33get something that actually fits you right and looks right on you.

02:36But otherwise, don't overthink it.

02:37But the main thing to consider for a first date style is just to wear clean shoes.

02:41Don't wear running shoes, though, unless you're going running.

02:43It's a running date for some reason.

02:44Don't know why you want to do that.

02:45But runners do not look good with street clothing.

02:48They only look good when you're running or doing some kind of physical activity.

02:51Other than that, a regular t-shirt, jeans, a jacket for the occasion,

02:54depending on what kind of weather it is,

02:55or even shorts and a t-shirt in the summer will all do well for you.
