Greater Noida Horror: Man Kills Wife, 6-Year-Old Brother-in-Law with Stone, Then Hangs Himself

Greater Noida – In a shocking incident in Roza Jalalpur under Bisrakh police station, a 22-year-old man brutally killed his wife and six-year-old brother-in-law with a stone before hanging himself on Monday evening.

Police identified the accused as Pappu Lal, a resident of Gajraula, Pilibhit. He had been living at his in-laws’ house for the past ten days. On the day of the incident, his father-in-law and mother-in-law were at work, while Pappu, his wife Jaswanti (21), and her younger brother Tej Prakash (6) were at home.

Around 4:30 p.m., after an argument, Pappu attacked Jaswanti with a stone, killing her on the spot. When Tej Prakash witnessed the assault and raised an alarm, he too was fatally attacked. Pappu then locked himself in a room and hanged himself from a ceiling fan.

Preliminary investigation suggests Pappu had been mentally unstable and under severe stress in recent days. Forensic teams and senior officers inspected the scene, and all three bodies were sent for post-mortem.

The incident has shocked the local community, especially since Pappu had been married only four months ago.

DCP Central Noida Shakti Mohan Awasthi confirmed the sequence of events and said a detailed investigation is underway.
