A shocking murder case has come to light in Jawaharnagar, Hyderabad, where a woman was allegedly killed by her minor daughter and her boyfriend, and buried inside their house. The crime, committed nearly a year ago, was uncovered after a suspicious attempt to sell the victim’s two-wheeler.

The deceased has been identified as Anju (around 40–45), who lived with her daughters in Bharat Nagar under Jawaharnagar police station limits in Medchal district.

According to police, the accused daughter, Ishika, was in a relationship with Mountie Rajput alias Monti Kumar Singh (22), a driver. Anju had opposed the relationship and had earlier filed complaints against the youth, leading to his arrest twice.

Police said that on May 12, 2025, the accused, then a minor, along with her boyfriend, allegedly stabbed Anju to death inside their house. The body was initially hidden under a bed and later buried within the house premises by covering it with cement.

To avoid suspicion, the accused continued to pretend that her mother was missing. On October 12, 2025, she filed a missing person complaint at Jawaharnagar police station. Despite investigation, the case remained unsolved for nearly a year.

During this period, the accused also reportedly accessed ₹80,000 from a chit fund in her mother’s name and later married her boyfriend in January 2026 at Yadagirigutta.

The case took a turn when the accuse’s boyfriend attempted to sell Anju’s two-wheeler in Ramkothi. The shop owner grew suspicious due to inconsistent statements and alerted police. During verification, it was found that the vehicle was registered in the name of a missing woman.

Police then detained and questioned the accused, during which the boyfriend allegedly confessed to the murder. A clues team conducted excavation at the house, confirming the crime.

Police have taken Mountie Rajput into custody, while the minor girl has been sent to a State Home. Further investigation is underway.

The incident has triggered outrage among locals, who have demanded strict action against the accused.
