11:51Yeah, Rich, officially Xavier Worthy's shoulder injury questionable to return.
11:57Now, it appeared to be that right shoulder.
11:59He came out after the injury,
12:00and they were checking the stability of the shoulder.
12:03He was visibly very upset.
12:05He walked around wincing in pain,
12:07and then we saw him exit the field with a towel over his head.
12:11Worthy went directly to the x-ray room at 9-21 local time, Rich.
12:15All right, Stacey, keep an eye on all of that.

12:54as Patrick Mahomes is trying to get that shot down the field.

13:31and how he came in and is not phased by anything.

13:36And they're excited about what he can bring to the table
13:39and how he can stabilize that left side.

13:47And he throws that one over the middle
13:48to Travis Kelsey's first catch of the season.

13:55You can see he's just going to run a hook route to the left-hand side.
14:00But just watch how quickly Patrick Mahomes plants that back foot

14:09these guys have such a great chemistry of knowing exactly what each other sees.
14:13It allows Patrick to anticipate like he did there.

26:21One thing that came out when I was talking to Steve Spangolo, the defense coordinator
26:28for the Chiefs, was the challenge of playing against this Chargers run offense.
26:33What he said is, when you practice against Patrick Mahomes in this offense every day,
26:37they don't run the football very much.
26:39So we don't get a lot of work on those downhill power running teams.
26:43They don't practice against anybody in training camp.
26:46So this is the first chance they have against a real power downhill run game.

34:21There was an issue with slippage last year on this now 12-year-old field.
34:25It is a hybrid field comprised of ryegrass and synthetic fibers.
34:29Very similar to Lambeau.
34:31I spoke with NFL field director Nick Pappas, who told me that the field had aged.
34:36The existing fibers buried beneath the surface.
34:39As a result, the NFL restitched the entire thing.
34:41They flew in sewing machine trucks, needling in brand new synthetic fiber.
34:46Those fibers much closer to the surface, giving players optimal traction with those cleats.
34:51And it appears to have helped, Rich.
34:53Yeah, it's beginning to miss here in Brazil as that's a quick pass and throw.
34:57Hollywood Brown collects that, brings it to the 40-yard line.
35:01Just 33 yards total so far for the Chiefs.
35:05And you never want to see any stats, Chiefs fans know, compared to Super Bowl 55 when he
35:11was running for his life against the Buccaneers in that Super Bowl.

41:30And what they like to do in these types of situations is they always like to bring Patrick's legs into the mix.
41:37So often you'll see kind of a run-pass option here.
41:40Sometimes him moving out of the pocket because he is so good at finding those extra yards and moving the chains.
41:45Lineman Jalen Moore just reported as eligible.
41:49There is a lot of beef on that line right now with Kareem Hunt the lone back on fourth and short.
41:57And it's Mahomes rolling to his right, throwing to Hunt, who picks up another fourth down for the Chiefs.
