00:00Drew Locke, and they're going to keep three quarterbacks, John, on this roster.
00:04A different look, a different feel, and building for the future with a new identity
00:07focused around running the football is what the Seattle Seahawks are looking to do this year.
00:12Now, keep in mind, Seattle was not a bad football team last year, Kevin.
00:16They were 10-7, and they missed the playoffs by one game.
00:19A late-season loss here in Green Bay is the great separation between these two teams
00:24and why Green Bay was the seventh seed and Seahawks the first team out.
00:27And yet they still made those moves.
00:31That's how much faith that they have in Darnold
00:34and how much faith they have in trying to change this identity
00:36and going back to their old-school roots when they were winning out there
00:40with the Legion of Boom and Marshawn Lynch running the football.
00:43Mike McDonald has hired a new coordinator.
00:46Clint Kubiak comes from New Orleans, part of the Shanahan tree.
00:50Third down and one.
00:51Millrell will take it himself, pushing the pile.
00:53He's got the first down up to the Seattle 39-yard line.
00:57They're going to run the ball more.
00:59They came in two today.
01:01The Seahawks did, leading the NFL in preseason rushing.
01:05They've got Rick Dennison, who's their new run game coordinator.
01:09He's a veteran.
01:10The offensive line, the starters have looked good.
01:14And here's Darnold off a 14-3 season with the Vikings,
01:17as you were talking about, feeling like he's kind of regained his game.
01:22The one year in San Francisco as a backup, he said, really paid dividends for him.
01:27Yeah, I'm sure that timing, tutelage under Shanahan, understanding timing,
01:31getting the football out to his receivers in the space.
01:34And that's what really impressed me the other day at joint practices out of Darnold.
01:38Third down, red zone.
01:41These plays that all are really big on timing with your wide receiver.
01:45That ball, the defensive line didn't have much of a chance to get some pressure on him
01:49because he was getting the ball out of his hands,
01:51and he was putting them in spots where the receivers could run under the ball and make catches.
01:56He wasn't throwing at the man.
01:57He was throwing out of space.
01:59And Darnold did it with really good accuracy.
02:03Seahawks last week beat Kansas City in the Pacific Northwest, 33-16.
02:08Second down, eight.
02:09And this is hauled in as Milrow goes to the air.
02:14And it was grabbed by Marshall Lang, the tight end out of Northwestern.
02:18No gain on the play.
02:20It'll be third down.
02:21And, John, I can't help but think as we wind down the preseason,
02:26second half and just a couple minutes left in the third.
02:29A lot of these kids have been playing football since the time they were
02:32almost old enough to walk, and they've played at various levels.
02:38And now they've made it this far.
02:40But a lot of them will find their careers ending after this week in the cut down to 53.
02:45And maybe not their careers, but maybe their career as a Green Bay Packer.
02:49Right?
02:49And they want to soak up every last second of this, every last moment of this.
02:54And Deslin Alexander on the last punt ran down the field, made a tackle.
02:58He was huffing for some air, gasping for breath on the sideline
03:02before he went back out to take the first snap of the defense side of the football.
03:07And it's just they want to put every last good play that they can on film.
03:12Because if not here, if not here even on the practice squad,
03:16then somewhere else hopefully we'll see that film, see that effort, and bring them in.
03:21Hadn had a nice play on that last play for Green Bay's secondary in coverage.
03:25Here's the punting unit now.
03:27Dixon will kick it downfield.
03:30Underneath it, it's Shepard, who was signed when camp started.
03:34And down he goes about the 15 hit by O'Toole.
03:3847-yard Seattle punt with a 5-yard Green Bay return.
03:44Today's turning point of the game is brought to you by your Wisconsin Toyota dealers.
03:49Toyota's national sales event is on.
03:51Toyota, let's go places.
03:53And obviously, Breton Cox, big hit early in that football game, jarring the ball loose.
03:59And Tyron Hopper, listen, Hopper is a guy that brings the wood every time he hits that ball carrier.
04:07That time, it was the quarterback on a quarterback sneak.
04:10Called him by surprise.
04:11Got another ball on the ground.
04:12A couple forced turnovers to turning point of the game.
04:14Former 49er Davis Price is in the backfield.
04:18El Gersma is the quarterback.
04:2016 of Green Bay.
04:22It's first and 10 as the Packer defense continues to pitch a shutout against the rookie quarterback of Seattle in the offense.
04:31Tyron Davis Price is out of LSU with a gain of one right there.
04:38Second down and nine.
04:41Signed during camp with all the injuries.
04:44Especially to Marshawn Lloyd, who continues, I think, to be one of the most elusive things the Packers can get a grasp on.
04:51He clearly, when he's been healthy, John, has been spectacular.
04:55But his health is just leaving him.
04:57And he is electric.
04:58The man has some wiggle and has some burst that we really haven't seen here in the running back position.
05:05And, you know, Josh Jacobs is a tremendous running back in his own right.
05:08But the element of burst and explosiveness that Marshawn Lloyd brings is great.
05:13But we've only seen the first signs of it because the man has, unfortunately, not been able to stay on the field.
05:21And after this last hamstring, the Packers are evaluating their running back position right now,
05:25wondering how do we make these numbers work with our offense going forward,
05:30hoping that Lloyd can come back at some point in time this season.
05:32Davis Price, who just carried the ball, was signed Tuesday, August 12th.
05:37Originally a third-round pick by the 49ers.
05:41He's played eight games during his first three seasons with San Francisco and Philadelphia.
05:46Here he goes again.
05:48Spent the past offseason with Tennessee.
05:50And on that third and two, he tried to corkscrew him for the first.
05:54He got a yard.
05:55So it's fourth down and about one.
05:57As time has left in the third.
06:00This is the end of the third quarter.
06:01Fourth quarter ahead.
06:03Three turnovers by Seattle.
06:05Two short touchdown passes by two different Green Bay quarterbacks.
06:0920-0 Packers.
06:11Fourth quarter awaits on the Packer Television Network.
06:14Meeting of the quarterbacks.
06:21And so meeting a...
06:24Is it like an apple pie, I think he was eating it, Clifford?
06:28Because he was eating something.
06:30I think that was a peanut butter and jelly and crust.
06:32I think you're right.
06:33I think you're exactly right.
06:35Grape or strawberry?
06:36Grape.
06:37Cup.
06:38Daniel Wheeler.
06:38The punt that they took her Green Bay.
06:41Wheeler will punt again.
06:42Yeah.
06:44Demerian Williams is deep back.
06:49He'll take it from the nine.
06:50He breaks one tackle.
06:52I'll take that back.
06:53This is not Demerian Williams.
06:54This is Cody White hurtling it offender.
06:57And White with his first punt return today after watching the past handful of punts that have come to the Seahawks.
07:05Gets in there and shows a lot with a 30-yard return on a 66-yard punt that hung for five and a half seconds.
07:15You get yourself some lemons here late in a preseason game.
07:18You make yourself some lemonade.
07:20White making a couple Packers missed.
07:23Jonathan Baldwin being one of them.
07:24And then a little hurdle there at the end.
07:27Nice return out of the young man.
07:37And Milrow, the quarterback, with the first and 10.
07:39With a quick flag.
07:45False start.
07:47Offense.
07:48Number 73.
07:50Five-yard penalty.
07:51First down.
07:5373 is a rookie free agent from Hawaii.
07:57Felix Fulalaho.
08:01And this is what our game has looked like today.
08:07Some of the notes.
08:11Got yourself, though.
08:13Three turnovers in the first half out of the defense.
08:15Turned into 17 points.
08:16And that's how this thing got blown open.
08:19Milrow scrambling for time.
08:21And downfield it goes.
08:23And caught by Cody White.
08:24Was he in?
08:25Yes, he was.
08:26As he's down to the Green Bay 37-yard line.
08:30Pickup of 25 and a Seattle first down.
08:32But the reason they were able to really make that first half performance like that is because
08:39the offense seems to have eliminated, for the most part, the self-inflicted wounds.
08:45We know we had an interception, taking a deep ball shot early in the football game.
08:49And I think two penalties, maybe three penalties offensively on that offensive line.
08:54When they don't shoot themselves in the foot, they see just what they can do.
08:59It's first down and 10.
09:02Right will get the call.
09:04And stuck in there by Tyron Herring.
09:07With a gain of two, second down and eight.
09:11Jalen Milrow has taken every snap under center today for the Seattle Seahawks.
09:16Grew up in Katy, Texas.
09:19Recruited by Nick Saban to Alabama.
09:22Four-year player there.
09:24His dad, he was born into a military family.
09:27His dad actually fought in the Iraq War.
09:31He came, as he has said often, from a family that respects leadership.
09:37And he is trying to show it when Alabama now is a third-round pick by Seattle.
09:43Got a good block there.
09:45Cuts the corner down the sideline.
09:47On that second down and eight, he raises to a first down.
09:51Tackled near the Green Bay 20-yard line.
09:53And picking up on the play.
09:5515 yards for a Seattle first down.
09:59Sweet little play here.
10:01Fake.
10:02The RPO to the right.
10:04Brings student body left.
10:05Just a couple pullers out in front of Jalen Milrow there.
10:08And you can see the speed that this man possesses when he takes off with the football.
10:12A two-element quarterback.
10:15Milrow originally committed to play for the Texas Longhorns.
10:19Then switched.
10:21First and ten.
10:22It's a sweep.
10:24With Dwight.
10:25Who is a seventh-round rookie out of UNLV.
10:29With a two-yard gain.
10:31But, well, there's Christian Welch.
10:33Welch, who makes the stop, and he's fighting for a spot on this roster.
10:37Heck of a play right there out of Christian Welch.
10:39When you get that motion going across, you've got to bump, bump.
10:42And that's what the linebackers did.
10:43And, look, Welch is outside the tackle there.
10:45Able to be in perfect position to make this play.
10:48If he doesn't hand that ball off to them, he's got to bump back in.
10:50Get back inside the box.
10:52But he recognized the pre-snap movement.
10:55Got into his appropriate spot.
10:56And makes the play.
10:57Good shot.
10:57Good job there.
10:59Welch from Iowa, Wisconsin.
11:01Second down and eight.
11:03Time.
11:03Throw.
11:04Right on the screws.
11:05That is a touchdown.
11:07Caught by Cody White.
11:09Boy, he authored that entire drive, didn't he?
11:11Had a catch for 25.
11:13Had a kickoff return of over 20 yards.
11:16And got an 18-yard touchdown pass from rookie quarterback Jalen Milrow of Seattle.
11:23It's so funny how it works, Kevin.
11:25You make a play on special teams.
11:26And it just seems to be karmic, you know, type of situation that you can go out there on offense.
11:33Then, and the ball just finds you.
11:35The ball finds you.
11:36Found Cody White there for the touchdown.
11:38Nice play.
11:39Nice drive.
11:40Started with Cody White.
11:41Finished with Cody White.
11:42Milrow looked good.
11:43Milrow also had a run on that drive of 15.
11:45Myers with the extra point with ease, 20 to 7.
11:52The shutout is gone.
11:53We're early in the fourth.
11:54Good-looking drive by Jalen Milrow on an 18-yard touchdown pass to put Seattle on the board.
12:00Your win is waiting.
12:05The Wisconsin Dental Association Dental Savings Club.
12:09And by your Wisconsin Toyota dealers.
12:1670 degrees here in Green Bay in this final preseason game.
12:23See, I've just got on the board for the first time in the game.
12:25And an 18-yard touchdown pass by the rookie quarterback out of Alabama.
12:28Kevin, I heard a couple of the scouts from Seattle at practice on Thursday complimenting Green Bay on the weather.
12:36Said, this is the place you want to have football training camp in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
12:41They were not lying.
12:42It was a beautiful day then.
12:43It's a beautiful day now.
12:43It was a great week weather-wise.
12:46Cool for some.
12:49But great for what these two teams were trying to do this week in practice in the ensuing kickoff.
12:55Out of the end zone and over the head of Abani Kanda.
13:01Today's play of the game is brought to you by Capital Credit Union.
13:07Malik Willis with this nice throw.
13:10And a little bit of Matthew Golden to end this preseason.
13:13The first-round draft pick coming back for the football.
13:16Making a tough catch.
13:19And this young man has shown early and often just what it means to draft the first-round wide receiver.
13:25He has been exciting all camp long.
13:27He's the first first-round wide receiver pick since 2002.
13:35Quarterback is Sean Clifford.
13:46And the running back continues to be Davis Price.
13:51First and 10 looking to cut back against the grain.
13:55Brought down by the defense of Seattle.
13:59Gain of two and downstairs to Ashley.
14:01Hey, Kevin, yeah, we're going to make sure we don't lose any cameras this time around.
14:05But I've got defensive tackle Kenny Clark.
14:07Kenny, year 10 in the books for you in terms of training camp.
14:10How does that make you feel having 10 of these in the books?
14:13And what does year 10, Kenny, look like?
14:15Man, it's a blessing.
14:16It's an extreme blessing.
14:18And, I mean, it's just constant work.
14:21You know, just keep pushing it forward and, you know, pushing these young guys.
14:25Just keep expanding my leadership role.
14:28And I'm just continuing to grow.
14:29And for you specifically to have battled through injury last season,
14:32just how much better are you feeling both physically and mentally heading into this year?
14:36Yeah, I'm feeling great.
14:37I'm so excited for the season.
14:39You know, just playing those.
14:41You know, just my rest plan.
14:44I mean, we all had a great camp.
14:45You know, you see the guys out here.
14:46They've been out of the defensive line.
14:48They've been playing great.
14:49So, man, I'm excited.
14:51I'm excited for my growth and to work with these guys.
14:54Well, and bouncing off of that,
14:55something that Jeff Halfley has been preaching this offseason is that physicality factor on defense.
15:00How have you seen this unit mold in year two under this scheme?
15:04I mean, we're just flying around the ball.
15:07And, I mean, it all started up front.
15:10We got a lot of guys that's physical, that can run and hit.
15:14And then, I mean, our second-level defenders, our linebackers, our safeties and all that kind of stuff.
15:19But, man, we're going to punch at the ball and we're going to get turnovers.
15:23So, I'm excited about what our defense is going to do this year.
15:25Well, and last question.
15:26There's been a lot of talk about that front four needing to generate more pressure.
15:29How have you guys embraced that challenge?
15:30And what have you seen from Lucas Van Ness?
15:34Lucas has been having a great camp.
15:36I mean, it's just all of us just working together.
15:39And, I mean, whatever Coach call, we're out there to just execute.
15:42So, you know, we got to just handle business when we get out there.
15:46Thank you, Kenny.
15:46We appreciate the time.
15:47Kevin?
15:47All right, thank you.
15:49He's back at nose tackle after three years of defensive tackle with T.J. Slayton gone.
15:53He moves back in the middle.
15:55I cannot believe 10th training camp with Kenny Clark.
15:59And he's not an old man, Kevin.
16:01He's only 29 years old.
16:03Doesn't celebrate his 30th birthday until October.
16:06It's unbelievable.
16:08Cody White with the return.
16:11Tackle made by Malik Keith.
16:1348-yard punt.
16:159-42 in the fourth.
16:17Packers just punted.
16:24Seattle will take over their own 31-yard line with a look at Cornelius Johnson, a receiver out of Michigan.
16:32Part of our Players to Watch segment to begin the game.
16:36And we had a couple picks, a couple catches today.
16:38But, you know, it's wild, Kevin.
16:40It's all about opportunity.
16:43His two receptions were on two screen passes.
16:46Really recognized by the Seattle defense.
16:49Quickly didn't get a whole lot of space to make a play happen.
16:52You know, last week he was the man in Indianapolis who was flying across the middle, making big catches late in that fourth quarter.
16:59And sometimes it's just about the opportunity that presents itself.
17:03Cornelius Johnson didn't do anything to hurt himself today.
17:05Just didn't get one of those chances to make a popping play.
17:08Damian Martinez on first and ten picks up five.
17:12Brinson, who's a sixth-round rookie pick out of Georgia for Green Bay, on the line, making a stop.
17:1891 and 93.
17:19Both on the line right now watching these two players closely.
17:23Brinson and Stackhouse.
17:25Yeah, and I wouldn't be surprised if they both end up staying on this roster, depending on how the numbers play themselves out all the way around.
17:32Jeff Hathaway loves the interior defensive line.
17:35He loves that group.
17:36He loves what each one of them brings.
17:38And he thinks it gives him some opportunity to create some nifty packages.
17:41Millbro and second down and five.
17:44Evening complete.
17:46And broken up nicely on the play by Jamin Johnson.
17:52And looked like they were going for the tight end.
17:54Marshall Lang.
17:55Johnson driving on this football.
18:00Looked like that thing got into his body, maybe bounced off his leg there as he's out in the flat with the tight end.
18:07You know Seattle lists some of these guys at tight ends.
18:10They call three fullbacks in their roster right now.
18:14Probably not for the regular season, but right now they do.
18:17But they want to use fullback much more than they have in the past with this new run scheme.
18:21Third down and five.
18:23Millro and deep and incomplete.
18:29That was intended for Tyrone Broden, who is out of Arkansas.
18:34Rookie free agent.
18:36Fourth and five.
18:37Incomplete pass.
18:38With the coverage on the play for Green Bay, Micah Robinson.
18:46Micah doing a good job of picking that arm, keeping that right arm for the receiver, not able to go up for it.
18:54He got away with a little bit of a hook and hold there, which is a crafty move.
18:59However, you've got to try and spot the ball yourself.
19:02Shepard to punt for Seattle.
19:04Will Shepard is back to retrieve the punt for Green Bay.
19:08And here he comes after Dixon's punt and knocked out of bounds.
19:13But a flag was thrown.
19:15On a 21-yard return with a 41-yard punt.
19:18Shepard was signed in late July.
19:24Undrafted.
19:24Signed with Tampa Bay.
19:25Failed the physical there.
19:27Bronco rookie camp.
19:28And he wasn't signed.
19:30After that.
19:31A penalty for the spot of the foul.
19:33First down.
19:34Timeout.
19:348-42 to play in the fourth.
19:42Play on top of Seattle.
19:448-42 to go here at Lambeau Field.
19:46Final preseason game.
19:50Seahawks just punted.
19:51Packers will take over.
19:53Lamar Johnson.
19:54In the backfield with the rookie free agent quarterback, 6'6", Taylor El-Gersma.
20:01I saw El-Gersma before the game as they were sending the National Hampton, Kevin.
20:08He had two cornerbacks on the other side of him.
20:10He looked like a giant standing guard.
20:12Yeah, he's huge.
20:18And here he goes with the pitch on first and ten.
20:21This is Johnson looking for a seam.
20:23And he's out to the 27-yard line.
20:26Where he's brought down by O'Toole and others.
20:28Gain of seven on the play.
20:30Out to the 27 of Green Bay.
20:34You know, Kevin, we talked about it a little bit earlier.
20:37And, you know, if you're wondering where the Packers are going to go with this position,
20:40where they're going to go with that position, just remember, there's about three days here,
20:45four days here before cuts actually happen.
20:47And there's all kinds of trades, options circling out there with different players
20:52that maybe the Packers have that another team may want.
20:55Maybe vice versa.
20:56You got the waiver wire when teams start actually making cuts.
20:59Where good players will get cut around the NFL.
21:02That can be brought in.
21:03Obviously, they need to jump straight to your 53-man roster.
21:06And then you have additions for guys that you have plans for in the future.
21:11Maybe there was a player that you were scouting coming out of college.
21:13He signed as an undrafted free agent somewhere else.
21:16They release him.
21:17And you can lure him in here to your practice squad.
21:19Because he's one of the guys that you've been wanting to develop since May.
21:22All those things will take place over the next four, five, six days.
21:27Third down and one.
21:28Busy time in the NFL.
21:32And we've seen a couple trades being made, too, like you talked about leading up to it.
21:35And the history would show you before Labor Day, trades are made.
21:39Third down and one.
21:40You know, Gerzma in the gun with Johnson at his side and getting a block from Banks.
21:46The left tackler dumps it off.
21:47It's Johnson.
21:49He'll slurge.
21:49He'll get the first down with the catch and run.
21:52And he's up to the Green Bay 38 on a catch and run of him.
21:57On a play that was disintegrating quickly.
22:00I love this out of El Gerzma.
22:03You know, it's one thing to have the guy that can stand in the pocket and deliver a big ball.
22:08And then how about being able to make something happen when nothing is there?
22:12That's what El Gerzma does on this play.
22:15Showing a little bit of his creativity at the quarterback position.
22:18Finding Johnson late.
22:20And Johnson finding a first down.
22:21Banks is playing the left tackle.
22:23J.J. Lippey out of Northern Illinois playing the left guard.
22:27Smith the center.
22:28Handoff on first and ten.
22:31That's off to Johnson who picks up four.
22:33It'll be second down and six.
22:35The ball up to the 42-yard line as we try to get some of these players here.
22:39Trey Hill is still in the game.
22:4164.
22:42He has spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals over the last handful of years.
22:47A former sixth-round pick.
22:49Four years at the Bengals.
22:50But only three games played and spent most of last year.
22:53On the Bengals practice squad.
22:54Yeah, you said it's a busy time this time of year in the NFL.
22:57It's also a nerve-wracking time for these players these next five days.
23:02Waiting for phone calls.
23:03What is your fate with the team that you are just concluding preseason with?
23:07And then what are the phone calls coming in from other places?
23:10Do you have to go do tryouts?
23:11Are people going to claim you?
23:12Are you going to come in and be on their 53, maybe their practice squad?
23:16A lot of plane tickets are going to be getting purchased in the next few days.
23:19And a lot of people flying all over the country.
23:20Davis Price is the one who carried that third down and three.
23:26And you know that feeling, don't you, John?
23:27Regardless if you're an all-pro player like yourself or a guy trying to make it as an undrafted player.
23:32You know, I didn't make an opening day roster, Kevin, until my fourth preseason.
23:36I'm very familiar with what it feels like to get cut.
23:39I know what these guys feel.
23:41But I knew I had a great preseason my third year.
23:45And I knew somebody was going to pick me up.
23:47Luckily for me, it just happened to be the Green Bay Packers.
23:49How about Al Gersma right there?
23:51He first of all got a block from Davis Price.
23:54Then a little shovel pass after the pocket was crumbling further.
23:58And Davis Price goes with a catch and run of seven and a first down for Green Bay.
24:03You know, this is the second time we've seen this out of him now.
24:06And you get to this position when you start feeling comfortable.
24:09You've got to imagine he doesn't feel 100% comfortable.
24:13But he feels much better than those first two preseason games that we saw him encounter.
24:17Now he looks like he's just playing football.
24:20He's out in the backyard.
24:21He's having fun.
24:22And he's making stuff happen.
24:23Johnson makes the carry.
24:25Seth Coleman, the tackle.
24:27The defensive lineman and a rookie out of Illinois.
24:30Free agent for the Seahawks.
24:33Gain of three.
24:34Second down and seven.
24:35And these preseason games, especially late in them, they get sloppy.
24:39Guys get out of position.
24:41There's some MAs.
24:42Players, coaches, scouts, they want to see who can make a play
24:47when it's not exactly done the way it's designed.
24:49Al Gersma's done it twice.
24:51Johnson, the back.
24:52Second down and seven.
24:55Al Gersma.
24:58And Johnson.
25:00Well, he's not going to budge.
25:02Holding on for dear life.
25:05With a nice play right there.
25:08Ms. Tupatala out of Washington.
25:11A rookie free agent and a linebacker.
25:14Seahawks last year finished, as John mentioned earlier, 10-7.
25:17They began 3-0, then lost 5-6 and finished out the year.
25:22And you detailed how they concluded.
25:25But they felt they needed to change a quarterback, and that's exactly what they've done.
25:29Getting Darnold, who was free and let go by Minnesota.
25:34Third down, six.
25:35A Gersman and Johnson.
25:41And Johnson is hauled down by Jared Ivey.
25:44Gain of five.
25:46Fourth and one for Green Bay.
25:47And the clock continues to tick.
25:49Fifty-four sacks.
25:51That's what the Seattle Seahawks had last year as a team.
25:55And I cannot imagine what the feeling was like inside that building.
26:00As an offensive lineman, as a running back in the protection unit, as a quarterback.
26:05That many sacks.
26:06It just takes such a toll.
26:08And that's why they've addressed it up front at the quarterback position.
26:12And with their identity trying to run the football here.
26:15In comparison, the Packers only had 22 sacks last year.
26:17Fourth and one.
26:18Here comes the pressure.
26:19Ivey Al-Gersma was hit once by Ivey and then brought down on the play with more Seattle pressure.
26:27They lose 11.
26:29And on downs, Seattle will take over.
26:34Fourth and one.
26:35The Packers try and trick him with the little sprint out.
26:37The running back is usually opening out.
26:40He was not.
26:40And if he's not, you've got to quickly get that ball out of your hands.
26:44Al-Gersma does the safest thing with going down with it, not turning the football over.
26:49But potentially, we've got to try and get that thing thrown out towards the sideline somewhere.
26:53Maybe even out of bounds.
26:56So, Milrow and the offense will take over right at the logo.
27:00Right at the 50-yard line.
27:02Running back is Anthony Tyus.
27:05It's a first and 10th.
27:09And Tyus.
27:11Wrapped up.
27:11Welch.
27:12And others there to meet in Alexander.
27:15They're getting some help from Aaron Mosby, who played for Green Bay last season.
27:19Losing a couple on the play.
27:21That third running back is going to come down, they think, between Martinez, Wright, and Helani, who is not playing today.
27:30George Helani.
27:32Second down 12.
27:33And Helani has looked great throughout this preseason as well.
27:36So, they've got tough decisions to make.
27:38It's not just the Packers here trying to make these tough decisions.
27:41It's 32 teams around the National Football League.
27:45And I can't help but think one of the tough decisions for the Packers is Simmons.
27:49He's had probably his best day today to conclude preseason, as I have watched it.
27:55And yet, Christian Welch is just continuing to stack success onto his preseason as well.
28:01That's for a fifth inside linebacker spot.
28:05Can they keep six?
28:06Well, they sure can't keep six if they keep six and tear it to the line.
28:10Third down six for Jalen Willrow.
28:12Here comes the pressure.
28:14Bouncing away.
28:15Welch is chasing on the move.
28:17And he's shy of the first.
28:19So, it'll be fourth down and about five.
28:21He's out of bounds.
28:22Make it fourth and longer than that.
28:24He was knocked out, they're going to say.
28:27At the 47-yard line of Green Bay.
28:31Keeping the offense on the field.
28:35Saw Johnson straight up the middle there.
28:38Creating some pressure.
28:40And I told you, young quarterbacks don't like the pressure coming in their face like that.
28:45The pressure from the outside, they can step up.
28:47But when it's up in the middle, that's when they take off and run.
28:50Good job by the whole defense chasing that play down.
28:53Tires the bat.
28:54Fourth and seven.
28:56Milrow will go to the air.
28:57Tires the block.
28:58But they've got the first down.
28:59Grabbed over there by White.
29:01Boy, has he come on strong.
29:03Here late in the game, the six-year veteran from Michigan State.
29:07It's a catch and run of 21.
29:09It's a first down to the Green Bay 22.
29:12Welch with the stop.
29:13Two-minute warning is here from Lambeau and Green Bay.
29:16Two-minute warning.
29:23Seahawks on the move.
29:24Three timeouts apiece.
29:26Most of the game, Green Bay has been in total command.
29:30Seahawks have come back.
29:31They've got an 18-yard touchdown pass in this second half from Jalen Milrow to Cody White,
29:38who has come on and really starred.
29:41He's been a journeyman in the NFL, played with five different teams with the Seahawks,
29:45who joined back in 2023, first and 10.
29:49On the path of 22.
29:50Bobbles it there.
29:51Green Bay's got a fourth takeaway and running the other way.
29:55Mosby breaking tackles.
29:57And White is there to bring him down on a turnover by Seattle.
30:02And that'll be all she wrote.
30:03It's a fumble.
30:04Recovered by the defense.
30:0523-yard return on the fourth Seattle turnover today.
30:10One of my favorite things in all of football is when a big man gets his hands on the ball
30:18and starts running with it because they go straight back.
30:21And he'll probably call him down there getting touched by the quarterback.
30:24But they go straight back to their high school teams when they used to be the running backs,
30:29the defensive end, the punter, the kicker.
30:31They were every position on their little league high school teams.
30:34And look at him, Mosby.
30:35He makes a move here.
30:37He's going to make a move there.
30:38He's so excited to have that ball.
30:40Looked pretty good there.
30:41Had great ball security as well.
30:43So many of these kids are right.
30:45They were high school running backs.
30:46They were full back.
30:48Mosby originally undrafted.
30:50He's played with Carolina on their practice squad in a couple games back in 22.
30:55After review, the runner was down by contact at the 31-yard line.
30:59First down, Green Bay.
30:59Last year, he played 16 games in March 1 minute and 58 seconds.
31:07After spending the entire 23 season on the practice squad and before that with Carolina, as we mentioned.
31:13He didn't want you to get that bio in.
31:16We just hope he's going to be around the way that he has had, though, a preseason.
31:20He didn't want you to get that bio in.
31:23He kept talking.
31:24But Mosby has been, listen, you talk about another guy on the back end of this roster that has been dependable.
31:31He's been available.
31:32And he's made plays for the Packers when called upon.
31:35I really like what he did for us last year.
31:38And throughout this preseason, he's just been rock solid once again.
31:41He made the final 53 last season.
31:44And the Packers will be in the victory formation.

32:28Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you so much.
32:31These three games just buzz right by.
32:33John is, of course, on the Packer Radio Network sideline.
32:37And that's where you'll be all coming season.
32:40We're listening to those broadcasts and enjoying all of it.
32:43Having a good time.
32:44Cannot wait for two weeks and a day.
32:47About this time, we'll be in a fourth quarter battle with our division foe, the Detroit Lions.
32:53And it is going to be a doozy of a start here for the Packers.
32:56Lions, Commanders, two playoff teams from a year ago.
33:00Right back to back in the first week.
33:02Going to find a lot out about this Packers.
33:04Good litmus test to start this thing off.
33:07Packers face those two on a Sunday and a Thursday.
33:12In fact, I saw the prime trucks making their way to Green Bay today.
33:17Getting ready for the game Thursday.
33:19I thought they were just delivering more boxes to my house.
33:21Yes.
33:22I didn't know about that.
33:23Packers finished this preseason 2-1, winning the last two in Indy last week in a come-from-behind win.
33:31And then the loss to the Jets here in the opener a couple weeks ago.
33:34And if you think about it, Kevin, the first six quarters of the preseason, not good.
33:38The last six quarters of the preseason, good.
33:41So we can hold our hat on that we finished better than we started this preseason.
33:45But now it comes down to that roster, all the injuries with the start players that we have.
33:50All assuming that they're going to be back.
33:53Hopefully they are.
33:54And we begin the broadcast a couple weeks ago by saying that the expectations,
34:00and this right from the mouth of the general manager, Brian Gutekunst, he said,
34:04we expect championships.
34:06It's time now, the time has come, to think big.
34:10And that is the expectation for this Packers team.
34:14Absolutely.
34:15They've been close each of the last two years.
34:18Jordan Love's got one playoff victory under his belt, two losses.
34:21They're ready, and they believe they've built a roster that can complement Jordan Love
34:25to more success in the postseason.
34:28Packers win it over Seattle 20-7.
34:31We'll wrap it up after this on the Packers Television Network.
34:36We'll cover it up after this on the Packers Bowl-
34:37også.
34:47Bye-bye.
34:54Bye-bye.
34:56Bye-bye.
34:57Bye.
34:58Bye-bye.
34:59Bye-bye.
