00:00let's start off with our big sports betting story of the day cal she strikes again boy do they ever

00:05441 million dollars for the non-sports betting company called the prediction market company my

00:12gosh it does feel similar though trading activity between the cowboys and philadelphia uh eagles

00:18in the season opener 441 million dollars in activity since then that is crazy since the

00:24first week of the season of course uh that would not include monday night's game with the vikings

00:29of the bears it took 200 million dollars on sunday alone why does this matter this is a company that

00:33is operating in a sports betting space but it's not sports betting and there are no basic regulations

00:39on whether or not they're allowed to take money or not they just decided to do it you can make

00:43predictions on sporting events and a lot of other things over on cal she's website not a commercial

00:48by the way for it just stating facts okay monday night football if you stopped watching at halftime

00:54kind of like sunday night football you made a big mistake 27 24 the vikings rally to come back and

01:01defeat the chicago bears it looked like this was going to be bears money line under the total for

01:09like uh two hours and then all of a sudden the vikings storm back it was all jj mccarthy in the

01:15second half you see aaron jones there he also caught a big touchdown pass in the game definitely a tale of

01:20two halves in this game what happened to the bears the second half did not play particularly well

01:24here's kevin o'connell the head coach of the vikings talking about making the adjustments which led to

01:30the win when things aren't going well things aren't going your way my public defense you know

01:35battled and kept us in the football game special teams made some put huge plays uh you know obviously

01:41miles price was a big return for record but you know the field goal would give us a little bit of life

01:46everything in the first half um i was just so proud of jj uh and in our offensive group there was a lot

01:53there's a thousand things um that we all can clean up there's a thousand things that myself and our staff

02:01will be cleaned up we can all be better but to come to this place time energy in the building

02:09uh find a way to just keep playing uh just keep um trying to find a way and our guys there's been

02:18some games here uh over these last few years where uh you know we've demonstrated that but tonight

02:24uh felt like uh there was something new quarterback on the road some new players throughout our team

02:33we're trying to figure it out together and uh the way that uh we're able to do that

02:40i'm very very proud of our team on the flip side the bears got off to a hot start halftime lead

02:47control midway through the third quarter then things fell apart for caleb williams and company

02:52the offense was rolling under ben johnson they also had a pick six but williams inevitably after

02:58the game said they need to do more to win i think i think you know first it starts with

03:04um getting in and out of huddle um it starts with uh being able to just you know complete you know

03:10some easy passes checkdowns and things like that you know keep the drives going and um i think we did

03:15that in the beginning um and you know that's the the hot start that you're that you're talking about

03:19and um i think a few balls got batted you know we have penalties and things like that so it slowed

03:24the drives down you know slowed the momentum down that we had and um we got to get better at those

03:28caleb the series that ends with it being 30 30 and then powering this is the field goal

03:33yep what is the lesson from there in terms of the momentum

03:36yeah the the the lesson there is uh get the ball past the line of scrimmage um i was trying to uh

03:47throw the ball away um and it just didn't get past the line of scrimmage um because i knew we were in

03:53field goal range um i think i've been able to um have a couple of those moments and you know i've come

03:58up here and you know spoke to you all about learning from those moments and um and and and you know i knew

04:04we were in field goal range like i said and just being able to get the ball past the line of scrimmage

04:08um in that position trying to throw it away and um try and keep us in field goal range

04:12now off the field no stranger to news is tyreek hill of the miami dolphins and tmz has another report

04:20yet today saying that hill's estranged wife has alleged in court filings that he's committed

04:26domestic violence the dolphins receiver has said he has not done it and denied it according to documents

04:32obtained by tmz his ex-wife alleges eight separate incidents of domestic violence he has not been

04:38charged and it is unclear as to where this has headed for tyreek hill although the dolphins

04:44got off to a very rough start on the field unrelated to tyreek hill all right tight end

04:48position already thin in the national football league gets a little bit thinner by one george

04:52kittle with a hamstring issue is going to miss multiple weeks according to head coach

04:57kyle shanahan as he'll have to sit he left the week one game against seattle early also

05:02brock purdy questionable with a couple of different injuries shoulder and toe we'll see if he ends up

05:07playing this week an announcement made yesterday by the giants they had to do this one week into the

05:12season russell wilson 17 of 37 for 168 yards some speculation that maybe jackson dart would get to

05:18start this week for the giants but brian dable head coach of the giants put an end to that speculation

05:23yesterday you kind of left it hanging out there so i think you have to start here do you intend to

05:28start russell wilson this week yes yep okay yeah i mean and and after a game you know it's an emotional

05:35game um it's a tough game you know didn't play particularly well i would say collectively but

05:42in terms of making any of those decisions really at any position or schematic changes i'd like to

05:48you know do it with a clear head and watch watch the tape and um again like i said yesterday that

05:55that game wasn't just doesn't fall on russell wilson uh you had to do a better job collectively

06:01coaching playing uh but but russell will be the starter oh was that even ever really a decision for

06:08you well again it's it's right at the end of the game so i'm not going to say i mean when you went

06:44issue has basically led to the big 12 pulling the officiating crew off week three because of a rules

06:50issue they allowed a punt to occur on a free kick in violation of rule 2 section 16 if you have the

06:55book the big 12 officiating crew has been removed from its next schedule assignment on friday so some

07:01issues there with the refs and they'll get it fixed colorado is expected to make a quarterback change

07:06ryan staub will go this week against houston for coach prime and yet again another team fine

07:11mississippi state fine five hundred thousand dollars by the sec for field storming yesterday good news

07:18for the philadelphia phillies they've been waiting all season for this and they got it aaron nola

07:22six innings pitched of shutout ball how about that three innings pitch seven strikeouts as they beat

07:27the mets one to nothing tyler glass now also pitched well seven innings for the dodgers past the rockies

07:31three to one and fernando tatis jr had a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning and the padres beat the reds
