00:00Let's begin with a very big story in the world of sports betting and prediction markets,

00:05which has been a hot topic here in 2025. Calci, the company that has taken over the country by

00:11storm, allowing you to place money on predictions, is filing a lawsuit against members of the New

00:17York State Gaming Commission a couple of days after the regulatory body sent a cease and desist

00:23letter to the prediction market company on Friday. Meanwhile, what does it mean? The state of New York

00:28is telling companies like Calci and Robinhood and Crypto.com and others, you can't operate in

00:34our state without paying taxes. You guys are just like sports betting operators without the

00:39regulation. Now, again, they're not saying that publicly, but that's what they feel. We'll see

00:43if Calci ends up winning this. If not, they're going to have to cease and desist in the state

00:47of New York. And actually, this will happen everywhere else as well. The biggest story in

00:52sports from the weekend is the dismissal of head coach Brian Kelly from Louisiana State

00:57University. They owe him more than $54 million in buyout money. They were thrashed on Saturday

01:04night by Texas A&M. More losses against ranked teams and losing in Death Valley at night is not

01:11something that has happened very often, especially under previous head coaches like Nick Saban and

01:16Ed Orgeron and Les Miles and others. Brian Kelly leaves Notre Dame to go to LSU only three years

01:21later to see himself out of a job. And so the Florida Gators and LSU Tigers dismissing coaches

01:27in consecutive weeks. Meanwhile, on Sunday night football, the revenge game narrative didn't exactly

01:33work last night for Aaron Rodgers and company as the Steelers go down 35 to 25, courtesy of Jordan

01:40Love and his huge game that he had last night with the Green Bay Packers in a 10-point win. Mostly,

01:46it was love in the air who threw three touchdown passes and also 300 yards through the air. But the

01:52Steelers also had some self-inflicted wounds in this game. A lot of penalties being called and some

01:57mistakes as well. So that left Aaron Rodgers pretty unhappy in postgame. I don't know. I just feel like

02:03we had some discipline issues and some penalties that were unnecessary. And then you're not going to win a lot

02:07of games when we're so bad on third down. Boz bailed us out with some four incredible kicks. But you're

02:14playing good teams, you need to score touchdowns. And we just stalled out in the high red zone.

02:19Aaron, what can you say about Jordan Love and just how far he's come over the years and also just how

02:24he played out for tonight?

02:25Yeah, I thought Jay Love played great. And he was super efficient. You know, he didn't get sacked,

02:32moved around really well, made some plays outside the pocket. Thought he played outstanding.

02:37Yeah, I mean, I think, you know, when we came in the locker room at halftime, you know, the message was

02:43that we just weren't finishing. We weren't executing our plays and weren't locked in on doing their,

02:48everybody's 111. So, you know, there's plays being made and I think we just weren't, weren't executing those

02:53and we weren't able to stay on the field. So, you know, I think the first half when we buy really

02:57fast for us as offense, we had one scoring drive. And so I think the message is just do your job,

03:03lock in and execute plays and stay on the field. And we did that.

03:07Bit of a surprise late Saturday for NFL fans and maybe even betters alike to find out that Lamar

03:13Jackson, who reportedly practiced all week long, was not going to play against the Chicago Bears on

03:18Sunday. The NFL is going to have to look into the injury report there because naturally,

03:22if you reported as practicing, they expect you to play. There's some discrepancy of practicing with

03:29the scout team versus your actual team. John Harbaugh, of course, said that Lamar Jackson

03:36and there was no like shenanigans going on here, but the NFL is definitely going to look into this.

03:40Meanwhile, it didn't matter because Snoop Huntley came in and Derrick Henry ran for two touchdowns.

03:44The Ravens beat the Bears and easily covered even if you laid that six and a half, which went way down

03:49on Sunday. 30 to 16, the final Ravens were two and a half at kickoff. John Harbaugh was happy to

03:55finally get a win without Lamar. By no means does this mean that, you know, things are over. By no

04:02means have we accomplished anything close to what we want to accomplish. But this is a really important

04:05game for our team. This is really a big game. And Thursday is really a big game for our team too.

04:10And our guys are keenly aware of that. And they'll turn it around tomorrow and they'll be ready to get

04:14to work on the Dolphins down there. So, but I can't emphasize enough how proud I am of the players

04:19and the coaches and everybody involved. I thought our defensive coaches had a great game plan.

04:24It was excellent. It was executed in an excellent way by the players throughout the game.

04:29And the offensive coaches had a great game plan. I thought Todd was his play calling was

04:33just incredible on point, really effective. And then, of course, you can talk about all the players,

04:39but we'll start with Tyler Huntley right here. I mean, the way he played that game.

04:42Eagles got revenge on the Giants as New York seems like they're crashing down to earth.

04:48Philly, one of the best teams right now going into the bye. 38-20, they pick up the win

04:52over New York. Cam Scadaboo injured in the game. Looks like he's going to miss extended amount of

04:58time. Nick Sirianni is basically saying at this point, whether they throw a lot or run a lot,

05:03it doesn't matter. Yesterday, a couple running backs, Barkley, Bigsby, both had great days.

05:08Anytime you rush for that many yards, it takes everybody.

05:11Jalen starts with Jalen and Brett getting us on the same page, checks, all the different things

05:18like that. Obviously, the whole line, deservedly so, played awesome. Deserves a lot of credit.

05:26Backs ran hard. All the guys that got touches ran hard. Receivers were blocking down the field.

05:30Tight ends were doing a good job against really good edge guys. A lot of respect for Burns and

05:36Thibodeau and Carter on the problems that they can create on the edge. So, great team effort

05:43to be able to rush for that many yards.

05:46CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans finally put up an offensive performance. We've been waiting for

05:52this all season. 26 points against the 49ers as they pick up the win. Stroud threw for 318 yards

05:58and two touchdowns. And the Patriots are just rolling. They can't be stopped. They're now 6-2.

06:02They beat the Browns 32-13. Meanwhile, the best player in the NFL this season has to be Jonathan

06:09Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts. Another three touchdowns, another 150 yards. Colts were two

06:15touchdown favorites. They easily won in Tennessee. And Daniel Jones, while he's been great for the

06:20Colts, acknowledges it probably wouldn't be great if it wasn't for his running back.

06:24Well, I mean, 80-yard runs help, for sure. The way JT's playing, the way the guys up front are

06:33playing. Receivers, you know, made some really big plays today. And then, yeah, I think as far as it

06:39goes with Shane, just the communication's been really good. You know, I've talked about that

06:43before, but just throughout the week and understanding how he wants to see the game

06:47played, how he sees it unfolding, gives me, you know, a good idea of how to, you know, how to

06:54handle certain situations and make decisions based on kind of how he sees it. So, I think,

06:59yeah, communication's a big deal. And I think he trusts us to make plays in a lot of situations.

07:07Broncos, meanwhile, have done what many teams have against the Dallas Cowboys this season,

07:1130-plus points. They scored 44 yesterday on Dallas as they beat, Denver beats Dallas 44-24. Also,

07:19the Buccaneers defense completely decimated the struggling Saints. Even Spencer Rattler was benched

07:24in this one. 23-3 Tampa Bay wins, also scored a touchdown on defense. Meanwhile, the New York Jets

07:30pick up their first win of the season in a wild one, 39-38 against the Bengals. It was the Brees

07:37Hall show, rushed for two touchdowns and also threw a touchdown pass in this game. Bengals seemingly going

07:43the other way. The Bills were turned off the bye. They crushed the Panthers 40-9 in a non-competitive

07:49game. The biggest surprise of the week, and there weren't many, the Dolphins go into Atlanta and

07:54Tua throws four touchdown passes to lead the Dolphins past the Falcons, 34-10. Kirk Cousins

08:00started for Michael Penix Jr. Tonight, it is World Series Game 3 back in Los Angeles. The Blue Jays

08:07over the weekend, in case you missed it, one game won easily. The Dodgers came back in one game too

08:11very handily. And tonight, Max Scherzer is the pitcher for the Blue Jays against Tyler Glass now.

08:17And the Dodgers are massive favorites in Game 3, folks. Minus 200 on the money line. Total of

08:23eight and a half. Also news from baseball, Craig Albernaz, the bench coach of the Guardians,

08:28is taking the head gig as new manager of the Baltimore Orioles. They'll make an announcement

08:33at some point this week.
