00:00Previously on Project Runway Canada, congratulations, Jason, Jessica, and Sunny.
00:06Holy crap, top three.
00:08I'm going to bring it to Toronto.
00:10Morning designers, meet us on the runway.
00:12We got the curveball.
00:14Your challenge is to make an evening gown that Cheryl Hickey could wear.
00:18We brought in some help.
00:20Oh my God.
00:22Who will help Jason?
00:23Brandon.
00:24Sunny.
00:25Jeff.
00:26Who will help Jessica?
00:28Kim.
00:28F*** in hell, Jesus Christ.
00:31It's not what I wanted to happen today.
00:34I got mine in two minutes.
00:37Don't be a disturbance.
00:39Jason's copying my dress.
00:41I want to know if this is happening.
00:44F*** me sideways.
00:46The finalists of Project Runway Canada will show at Toronto Fashion Week.
00:51And the winner will receive a cover and a feature spread in Elle Canada magazine.
00:56A professional portfolio photo shoot courtesy of L'Oreal Paris.
01:01A runway to retail, business mentorship at winners.
01:04And $100,000 to start their own fashion line.
01:10Ready for the runway?
01:11Ready for the runway?
01:2414 designers, but only one can win.
01:27Time for the show designers.
01:42Time for the show designers.
01:44Time for the show designers.
01:48Because fashion isn't always pretty.
02:05Hello, designers.
02:12I'm here to have a look and see what's going on.
02:14Let's start with Jason.
02:15There was a little bit of, like, drama over Jason's Cheryl dress.
02:20This is to put it right on the table.
02:22Brandon was concerned that you were going with one of his dresses from a lookbook.
02:26That can't happen.
02:31F*** me sideways.
02:32We've all made bubbled dresses.
02:36It's a bottom of a dress where I knew he was experienced in.
02:39And with the time constraints and using Brandon properly and diligently,
02:43then I think this is a really good move.
02:44I think it's going to be a beautiful dress for him.
02:46Does it look like your dress remotely?
02:48No.
02:49No, it doesn't.
02:50That's what I want to know.
02:51Because I said to Brandon, there's no way that that's going to happen.
02:53It's a big competition, you know?
02:55Everything's intense.
02:56And I'm here to make it fair and even for everybody.
02:59Works out in the end, doesn't it, Brandon?
03:00There you go.
03:01Comes together.
03:02Good job.
03:04Brian went away and we're just kind of like, let's do some work.
03:09It was really awkward.
03:11Just like, okay, okay.
03:12And then like, let's go for a smoke.
03:14Oh my God.
03:15Holy f***.
03:17I hate, hate, hate confrontation.
03:21It's totally my fault, man.
03:23That's fine.
03:24My focus right now is getting that dress finished.
03:27I got no time to be like, oh my God.
03:29No, f*** that, man.
03:31Brandon has told us a lot of stories that we kind of don't pay much attention to.
03:36I have way too much work to do.
03:38I'm not dealing with any drama.
03:40I'm here to try and win this competition and do my very best.
03:43And what I've done, I'm really proud of.
03:45Let's just get it done, man.
03:46I need to get it done.
03:50So Jessica Biffy?
03:51I'm doing this chiffon silk leather dress.
03:55Wow.
03:56Yeah.
03:56Okay.
03:56Well, that's good.
03:57Yeah, well, that is my collection in a nutshell.
04:00I thought maybe you would do that chain number for Cheryl.
04:03This does have chain detailing on it.
04:05It's going to have a little bit of chain that just comes like a little bit on the back.
04:08I think you need to not overchain anything, maybe.
04:13That might be a downfall.
04:14Right.
04:16Work hard for the rest of the night, okay?
04:18Oh, yeah.
04:18Got the memo on working hard.
04:20Sonny Fong.
04:23So tell me about this Cheryl dress.
04:26She has wonderful skin, so I chose to use an off-white to make it extra special.
04:31You know, I'm layering it with the organza down to it.
04:33I'd be concerned because it looks like bridal and she may not like it.
04:36Cheryl has to want to wear it in the color that it is, the way it is.
04:39The whole picture has to be perfect.
04:42And I know you usually figure it out, but I'm concerned, concerned, concerned.
04:46I didn't get this far just to lose.
04:48If I don't win, I would call it quits with fashion.
04:53Designers, it's one thing to design a collection.
04:56It's a whole other thing to run the business.
04:59The runway to retail business mentorship for winners is designed to help you with this.
05:04So, to get you thinking business, you will deliver a presentation to winners tomorrow.
05:09In your presentation, you'll be expected to do three things.
05:12Know your brand.
05:14Know your retail price point.
05:15And tell them who your customer is.
05:17We have 24 hours to do this.
05:19Brian, he needs to stop being the bearer of ridiculous news.
05:24Thanks, Brian.
05:26Like, I know you got a collection to finish.
05:28And I know that you have, like, a new dress to make in two days.
05:31Whatever.
05:32Could you please put together a presentation?
05:34You will have until midnight tonight.
05:35And then tomorrow, you will have your one and only fitting with Cheryl.
05:39And then your helpers will go.
05:42Work hard.
05:44Bye.
05:44Why are you leaving me now?
05:49Just when I get super happy that you're here, you're going away.
05:54That's a full circle moment.
05:56All right, I'm going to go have a little nervous breakdown in the other room and finish that dress.
05:59Did I do this wrong?
06:09Oh, I know what I did wrong.
06:14Okay, that's good.
06:14So we could just clean it up, really.
06:17Yeah, for sure.
06:17Thank you so much, man.
06:19No problem.
06:19Awesome.
06:21Are you done with your Cheryl dress?
06:23You just need to fit it on her?
06:24Cute.
06:25Yeah, just a closure.
06:27Huh.
06:28That's a little bit stressful.
06:29Not a lot of time to finish off the Cheryl Hickey dress.
06:32I'm not going to say I'm not stressed, because I totally am.
06:35Iron like you mean it.
06:44Good morning, designers.
06:46You remember Shannon Johnson and Nicole Covea from Winners.
06:49Shannon.
06:50As you all know, the winner of Project Runway Canada will receive a runway to retail business mentorship with winners.
06:56This prize is designed for you to learn the business side of fashion.
06:59The winner's presentation is a presentation of us as a brand.
07:04It is ready to wear, high end.
07:06My target market is someone 25 to 45 who is not only fashion forward, but fashion adventurous.
07:13The luxury customer is a small market.
07:15And the girl who's 25 probably wouldn't have the extra cash for those kind of investment pieces.
07:21So I think that's probably something to think about.
07:23This is all very new to me.
07:24So, I mean, it's really great to hear that feedback.
07:28The Jason Myers woman is 20 to 60.
07:30I didn't want to count kind of anyone out.
07:34In terms of defining your customer, I don't see this on a 20-year-old.
07:38I see it probably on a 30-year-old plus.
07:41You have to remember the customer that you're profiling will also dictate the stores that you sell to.
07:46Absolutely.
07:48That might be 20-year-old.
07:49Yeah.
07:51Hello, Sonny.
07:52I'm a little concerned because, you know, you are talking to professionals about your brand.
07:57What are your price points right now?
07:58How much do we spend in here?
08:00We're looking at, like, $19.75.
08:05Sonny stuff is good.
08:06But, I mean, you know, how many $2,000 jackets are you going to sell?
08:10Okay.
08:10That's good, sure.
08:11Yeah.
08:12You are going to be with powerhouse names that have billion-dollar marketing campaigns.
08:18It's challenging to get into that market.
08:22There's enough basics out there, and I don't want to be lost in that.
08:27Thank you, Sonny.
08:28Good luck.
08:28Good luck.
08:30Exhale.
08:30Hi, everybody.
08:37I brought a friend along.
08:38Cheryl Hickey.
08:39Hi.
08:39Hi, guys.
08:40This is the slip that goes underneath.
08:42Great.
08:43And then there's the organza.
08:46And it has its own sort of personality.
08:48Sort of like me.
08:49Yes.
08:49And you.
08:50That's good.
08:51It's perfect together.
08:53I was a little bit worried about my garment.
08:55It's a little bit organic and weird.
08:57I didn't know how much she would like it.
09:00Cool.
09:01That looks awesome.
09:03This is so interesting, what you've done on the side.
09:06It's a gorgeous dress.
09:07Cool.
09:07Yeah, you've done a great job.
09:10Hi.
09:11So, this one is ours.
09:12How much fun is that?
09:14Beautiful.
09:16Cheryl loves the dress.
09:17She came out with a smile on her face.
09:19Oh, wow.
09:21That's gorgeous.
09:23She looked absolutely amazing.
09:24I think she felt really good in it.
09:27I love the skirt.
09:29So interesting.
09:31All right.
09:31Let's take a look.
09:32It's a little long.
09:33I haven't hemmed it just yet.
09:35My legs need to grow.
09:39I mean, I know it's sort of a work in progress.
09:41Yeah.
09:41It's not together.
09:42It feels like one of the girls is going to come out, if I can just say that.
09:49That one?
09:49Yeah.
09:50Which, that's the only thing that, in terms of the structure of that, I'm a little bit...
09:56Concerned?
09:56A little bit with all those people.
10:00Is this supposed to be the...
10:02The bust, yeah.
10:04Right.
10:04It's very romantic, that whole romantic thing we were talking about.
10:13Jessica had some difficulty with her dress, in terms of, I guess, the fit.
10:17But she's probably 50% done her dress.
10:21There's a lot of detailing that isn't complete.
10:25I didn't think it would be perfect.
10:27I just, I just didn't think it would be as messed up as it was.
10:33Jason's is done, and Sonny's is perfect, and mine is, like, ghetto, f***ing awful.
10:41Tomorrow's, like, one of the most singular, important events of my life, and I feel...
10:47I'm just all over the place.
10:50I just, I want it to be so good, and, like...
10:53You're just embarrassed, like, that's what it is.
10:59I'm embarrassed.
11:00Shouldn't be.
11:01There's nothing to be embarrassed about, man.
11:04What's the Jessica Biffie slogan?
11:06Say it for me.
11:07Screw up, fix it, and win.
11:09Exactly.
11:10So, so far we're at stage one.
11:12Screw it up, yep.
11:14Check.
11:14Screw up, check, okay.
11:16Stage two...
11:17Fix it.
11:18We'll check it off of this when we get there.
11:23Our show is tomorrow.
11:30They only have a few hours left just to finish everything off.
11:34I think it's fun.
11:35Oh, yeah, you've got to shake it up on the runway.
11:37Can't be too serious.
11:39After having a little bit of a moment, I don't have time to, like, let myself get upset about it.
11:44There's a lot of hand sewing.
11:46I keep looking at the clock and hoping that somehow I can sew at the speed of light.
11:53I'm feeling pretty good now.
11:56I'm feeling better than I was.
11:59Freaking tomorrow.
12:00It's freaking me out.
12:02I'm starting to get, like, that butterfly anxious feeling.
12:06I'm just trying to do final touches, just trying to make sure everything is as perfect as possible.
12:11It's tomorrow.
12:12I'm done.
12:16Hi, everybody.
12:18Hi, Brian.
12:18Hi, Brian.
12:19It's time to say goodbye to your helpers.
12:23Thanks so much, man.
12:24Thanks.
12:26Everything else is ready to roll.
12:28Just leave your phone number.
12:29Kim, she'll call you if she needs something.
12:31I'm just letting her know the list I made.
12:32Thanks, dude.
12:33Okay?
12:35Okay.
12:35Regardless of what happened in the past, she really pulled through for when I needed her
12:43to.
12:45Just coming from where we started to now, it's really nice.
12:49Come on.
12:49Hey.
12:50Bye.
12:52See you on the runway.
12:55So we can just gather around.
12:58So you're going to have until 12 o'clock tonight to finish, and that means you have to be packed
13:03up and ready to go.
13:05It's been great working with you, and you really are, as all three of you are, a sparkler
13:11in my eye.
13:12So thank you for letting me be a part of this journey, and give me a hug.
13:21Jason?
13:21Thanks, Brian.
13:23Thank you, Brian.
13:24You're welcome.
13:28I'm so excited for tomorrow.
13:30It's just been a long journey, and it's been crazy, and it's been stressful and fun, and
13:36tomorrow's the day.
13:39Going through Project Runway, I've discovered lots about myself.
13:43I've given it all.
13:45Like, to, you know, get this far, and, you know, I want my comeback.
13:51I mean, if Brittany can't, so can I.
13:53I'm really proud of myself.
13:57I think I've grown a lot as a person, and grown hugely as a designer, and realized I have
14:03more talent and more skills than I think I gave myself credit for.
14:07Today is the final day of this whole thing.
14:29This morning at the Rosemont, we're all really sort of stressed out.
14:33It's been a really good, good experience, because I've discovered lots about myself.
14:41And one thing is, don't question your instincts.
14:44And that's sort of gotten me through this far, which is really cool.
14:47And, you know, I just need to keep on going.
14:52Today is the runway day.
14:54Today's the big dance.
14:55Let's do it.
14:57Let's do this.
14:58This is it, man.
14:59Oh, Mr. Bedell.
15:16Holy s***.
15:19The feeling I felt seeing Bedell today under the tents, it was kind of overwhelming.
15:23Hi.
15:24Congratulations.
15:26You guys are the top three.
15:27Very cool.
15:27Super excited.
15:29It was super cool to see Bedell.
15:31I was a huge fan of him last season.
15:34Soprano!
15:36I was really happy when he won, and it was just really awesome.
15:40My life changed last year on this runway.
15:42I went from a guy living in B.C. to a guy selling internationally and having sold-out shows
15:47season after season.
15:48I'm going to be joining the judges and judging your final collections.
15:51I'm even dressing him on for the finale tonight.
15:55I'm even nervous.
15:55One of your lives is going to change, like, entirely, so.
16:03Take it all in.
16:04I can't wait to see your collections tonight.
16:06I'm really excited.
16:06This is crazy.
16:07Let's do it.
16:08Go get ready for your show.
16:08Let's do this.
16:20Oh, I'm bleeding.
16:22It's crazy backstage.
16:25There's three collections.
16:26There's dressers.
16:27There's hair and makeup people.
16:28If you have to take it out, do a little bit of that spring and blow-dry.
16:31It'll be combed out a little bit, right?
16:33It won't be so perfectly ringy.
16:34Okay.
16:34And, like, so you're, like, dodging people.
16:38I'm looking for you.
16:39I brought the hat over to Eric.
16:48It's gorgeous.
16:48Thanks.
16:49I had to, you know, make sure that it fit perfectly on her head.
16:52Perfect.
16:53Perfect.
16:54I'm hoping that it looks good.
16:56Bonjour.
16:56How are you?
16:58Good.
16:58How are you?
16:59Good.
17:00You well?
17:01Yes.
17:01Yes?
17:02Yeah.
17:02You?
17:02Oh, good.
17:03Yeah.
17:03Okay.
17:04For your amazing eyes, I will use our amazing double-extend beauty tube mascara on your eyes.
17:13They're all getting, like, touched up, right?
17:14Like, this is coming out, and they're getting, like, touched up, right?
17:16Yeah.
17:17That's the best one.
17:18Can they all look like that?
17:19Yeah.
17:20Okay.
17:20You don't want it roughed up right here.
17:21Just perfect.
17:21I want, like, that.
17:23Okay.
17:23Good.
17:24Crazy.
17:24Good.
17:25Good work, man.
17:25That's awesome.
17:26Okay, designers, you have half an hour, and the show is on the runway.
17:32You need to pick it up a notch.
17:33The models need to be into their clothing, and the shoes need to be on their feet.
17:36Hair and makeup should have been done by now.
17:38If you don't have all your models in here, you need to find them.
17:40Let's do this.
17:41I am a little bit frazzled, because I've never done this before.
17:45You know, it's all about to happen very quickly.
17:47Turn for me.
17:51Oh, I'm scared.
17:55Turn to me.
17:55Turn to me.
17:56Each girl, I took the time to create her, and then I would step away from it.
18:00Just take a look, get her to turn around slowly to see it from all angles.
18:03Can you see?
18:05I really try and work a really cohesive feel in between each girl.
18:09It's all a feel, and it's really important going into the show.
18:12I want three quarter poses, one with a little twitch, so it's going to be Jason Myers, and
18:17you're out.
18:18Okay?
18:18All right?
18:19Say that nice and slow.
18:20Work that.
18:20Feel it, man.
18:21You guys look amazing.
18:22Thank you so much.
18:23Jason Myers.
18:24Noah, do we have hair people?
18:29I'm freaking out because, you know, my girls aren't even done.
18:33Where are all your models?
18:35We need to really get this moving.
18:36I know.
18:37I was worried that I would have not enough time.
18:41Let's go, let's go, let's go.
18:43It's time to go to the runway.
18:44Let's go right now.
18:48Next, on Project Runway Canada.
18:50This is my final battle, so enjoy.
18:58Welcome to Project Runway Canada.
19:13Tonight, we're very, very proud to present the collections of our final designers.
19:19These designers have really proven themselves to be fresh, new voices in the Canadian fashion
19:27industry.
19:29And now, let's start the show.
19:31Hi, everyone.
19:43I'm Sonny.
19:46And it all began with Fashion's a Battlefield.
19:49So I chose Alexander the Great as my inspiration.
19:52So this is my final battle.
19:54So enjoy.
19:58You're my heart
20:03I won't try to hide
20:07Oh, oh, you're my heart
20:11You gave me a light
20:15You're my heart

20:57I'll give you a light
20:58I'll give you a light
20:59You give me your hand
21:03You're my heart
21:06I feel your pain inside
21:09Oh, oh, you're my heart
21:14You give me your hand
21:18I don't give up on anything
21:22I don't give up on anything
21:26I don't give up on anything
21:30As long as I tell you
21:49You're my heart
21:52I won't try to hide
21:55Oh, oh, you're my heart
21:59You give me your hand
22:04You're my heart
22:07I feel your pain inside
22:11Oh, oh, you're my heart
22:15You give me your hand
22:19I'm gonna give you my hand
22:20I'll give up on anything
22:23I'll give up on anything
22:28I'll give up on anything
22:32Oh, so good.
22:42Yay.
22:44What's up, going on, everybody?
22:49I'm Jason Myers, originally from Hamilton.
22:52My inspiration always is my family.
22:54Mom, she's somewhere out here.
22:55I love you.
22:56Are you guys ready for a show?
22:58This is Global Glamour.
23:02I love you.
23:32I love you.
23:34I love you.
23:35I love you.
26:11And my inspiration is Greta Garbo, 1930s Hollywood glamour meets hip-hop swagger of today.
26:17So hope you all dig it.
26:18Peace out!
27:19I don't need to be a man.
27:22I don't need you to understand.
27:27There's a negativity, so shut up please and just give me the drums.
27:32Give me the drums, give me the drums, give me the drums.
29:18Hey!
29:19So good!
29:20Congratulations!
29:21Oh my god!
29:22We're here!
29:23We did it!
29:24Congratulations!
29:25I'm so happy!
29:26I'm so happy I got to keep you!
29:27Aw, me too!
29:28Glad I was with you the entire time.
29:29You guys did so great!
29:30Thank you so much!
29:31Thank you!
29:32Aw, me too!
29:33Glad I was with you the entire time.
29:34You guys did so great!
29:35Thank you so much!
29:36You guys did so great!
29:37Thank you so much!
29:38Each show had an idea and a concept and they stuck to it.
29:43Very cool!
29:44They were all amazing.
29:45Hearing their intros about what inspired them.
29:46It really looked like they put a lot of input into it.
29:47Sonny is my favorite designer on the show.
29:48I think he's very, very skilled, very calm, cool.
29:49He knows what he's doing.
29:50It was the one that held my attention and it was the one that had the most stuff in it that
29:55I would actually wear.
29:56Amazing looks.
29:57I thought it was of the moment.
29:58I thought it was edgy.
29:59I thought it was styled beautifully.
30:00They looked even much better than last year, if that is possible.
30:01It was even better than last year, if that is possible.
30:22Designers, before we start, I just want to tell you how very, very proud I am to see your
30:40collections tonight.
30:42As always, I'm joined by Sean Hewson, creative director of Bustle Clothing and Rita Sylvan,
30:48Elle Canada's editor in chief.
30:50Tonight, our guest judge is someone who knows this competition very, very well, Evan Bedell.
30:58Bedell is the winner of the first season of Project Runway Canada.
31:02Since that time, he has dressed some of the hottest celebrities, including myself, tonight.
31:09This is the panel who will decide the next winner of Project Runway Canada.
31:14Models, this is a competition for you as well.
31:17The model paired with the winning designer will get a cover and a feature spread in Elle Canada magazine.
31:23Jason, we will start with you.
31:25Tell us about your collection.
31:26The inspiration for my collection was LA Cocktail Party.
31:29I wanted to show some beautiful and glamorous dresses for that whole beautiful high-end nightlife.
31:37Sean, what do you think?
31:39Obviously, you're here because we thought you did great work throughout the challenges.
31:44What would you say was sort of the biggest risk you took with this collection?
31:48I think the biggest risk I took was the sequins.
31:50It's a difficult fabric to work with.
31:52You know, in so many ways, it can not look very high-end or exclusive.
31:56I particularly like the pieces where you used just a touch of the sequins.
32:01Using a lot of sequins can look cheap, and I feel that some of your collection was just not as sophisticated as I think you probably intended it to be.
32:10There were some hits, but there were quite a few misses as well.
32:13I loved Paulina.
32:14I've got to tell you, the gold sequins with the ruffle top, I thought that was great.
32:18I took it really personal when models couldn't walk, especially one that was unbearable to watch.
32:26The whole room gasped for her.
32:28The skirt was so tight that she couldn't walk.
32:31Also, you're saying LA, and then the lacy bit that opened, it was very Playboy Mansion.
32:36Did you think Playboy Mansion was going to win Project Runway?
32:39You know, I believe it. I'm proud of it. I really like it.
32:42And I mean, obviously, it sucks that I'm getting crushed with it right now.
32:46There was a kernel of an idea. You know, you just didn't nurture it.
32:49I mean, what kind of a designer do you really want to be?
32:53I guess I've got to figure that out.
32:57Sonny.
32:58This is a collection that's entirely what I'm all about.
33:01I wanted to create clothing that people wanted to, you know, wear and say,
33:05I want that dress, I want that jacket, I want that, you know, I want it.
33:08In a word, you're a superstar.
33:12You have amazing talent. You have amazing taste.
33:15Your clothes could be on any runway, anywhere in the world, anytime.
33:19The collection was great. I'm really happy you weren't on my season.
33:22Loved the opening coat, the emblem on the front.
33:27And like you had like flowing gowns next to a leather legs over the shoes.
33:34Yes.
33:35So Alexander the Great.
33:36It is, it is.
33:37And then also so hot right now. Just to know how to maneuver all of those different fabrics is unreal.
33:42I would say you've definitely showed us that you're a designer with this collection.
33:46Whenever I hear desirers talk about their inspiration, I'm always like, you know, close my ears because it's never what they say.
33:54But for a change, you were spot on.
33:58It was Alexander the Great. And what you said from the beginning was that you wanted people to say, I want that jacket, I want those pants.
34:06I have a couple of pieces I want. We'll talk.
34:11Jessica, tell us about your collection.
34:14I wanted to mix like Hollywood glamour meets swagger of hip hop and put them together and make it very Jessica Biffy.
34:20So I wanted to take fabrics that were very popular in the 30s, like silks and wools and mix them with something with a little bit of a flash from today.
34:31I know girls who would love your clothes. I love your clothes.
34:36I think we need to hang out.
34:38Let's do that. Let's pick it up.
34:40You know, the first outfit came out and I thought, you know, that's slamming.
34:43It's J-Lo. It's perfectly made.
34:45And then the dress came out and I thought, okay, what?
34:47And then another one of the first category.
34:49And I wasn't really sure how they actually were ever fitting together.
34:52This is the closest thing to fitting both of those.
34:55But I kind of felt like I was looking at two different collections.
34:58It's funny because first you were cowling on a bum and I was kind of like, ah, I don't know about that cowl bum.
35:03And then you did it again and it was great.
35:05And I like it because I can see, okay, she obviously did that and then figured out how to fix it.
35:09And fixed it here, but you never went back and fixed it there.
35:12So it doesn't really help itself, you know?
35:14I think it was your best work so far.
35:18Without question, that opening number was fantastic.
35:21And then it started to drift a little bit.
35:23And then you came back about halfway through your show with this amazing kind of boho chiffon dress in that gorgeous print.
35:30And I would have loved to have seen more of that.
35:33Great outerwear, great sportswear.
35:35The Jack, as we all said, the room gasped when they saw that everybody thought, wow, now that's a show.
35:42Designers, thank you very much for your very hard work.
35:47You can leave the runway so we can decide who has created the winning collection.
35:52Sonny, your stuff is sick though.
35:56Yeah, it's a mix.
35:57God damn it, Sonny.
35:58I wish you weren't on my season either.
36:00I know, me and I didn't say the same thing.
36:01Don't pet me.
36:05Okay, judges, let's get right to it.
36:11Jason.
36:12It was a little disappointing because the opening of the show was exciting.
36:16And then he introduced a new fabric, the silk jersey, not too far into the show.
36:20So I thought we were going to see some diversity.
36:22But unfortunately, it sort of turned more into a regurgitation of his former ideas.
36:27There was not really one design that you would say, oh, I see what you're about.
36:32It doesn't take critique well and doesn't know what to do with it.
36:35It was like he wasn't happy with it himself.
36:37Yeah.
36:38I felt like he knew it wasn't that good.
36:40Obviously, he's talented.
36:41He wouldn't have made it to this point if he didn't have the talent.
36:44But his ideas, I think, need to be clarified going forward so he can direct his talent into a stronger place.
36:54Let's talk about Jessica.
36:55Some of the pieces were amazingly strong.
36:57She raised everyone's expectations.
36:59It was full of promise.
37:00She has cool girls that she dresses.
37:03She's got very hip, like that little jumper with the zipper and the shorts.
37:06Like I know girls that would just die to have that.
37:09What's great about Jessica is that she's moving in the right direction.
37:12That there is something in her there that's already great.
37:16This is her first collection ever.
37:18I said this about you last year.
37:20Notwithstanding the kind of misstep of running basically two parallel collections, if you look at the better one, it is really, really impressive.
37:27Absolutely.
37:28I loved what she did and she showed so many original ideas tonight.
37:32It was fantastic to see.
37:33Fantastic.
37:37Sunny, sunny, sunny.
37:38What can you say?
37:39He showed such incredible versatility.
37:42He can do it all and he can deliver it in a unique way, always keeping a tight rein on his point of view.
37:49And he takes a theme like Alexander the Great and you think, well, this is going to get costuming pretty fast.
37:54And it wasn't.
37:55I've never seen such tailoring movement.
37:58The beading, it's like it's not too much.
38:00It's perfect.
38:01For somebody to be able to go in to a chiffon dress and link little beads and chains and make it fit and then go next door to this leather piece and attach fur sleeves, style it with leather legs.
38:13And the mask.
38:14The mask.
38:15Like, did you make that thing?
38:16He said he did.
38:17Oh my God.
38:18He's unbelievable.
38:19Yes.
38:20He's unstoppable.
38:21I think we made our decision.
38:26Let's bring them back in.
38:31The winner of Project Runway Canada is.
38:47Jason, Sunny and Jessica.
38:50You've all created truly amazing collections.
38:55But as you all know, there can only be one winner.
39:00Jason.
39:01You've clearly defined the borders of who you are as a designer, but fashion has no limits.
39:09You need to push beyond your own boundaries.
39:15Jessica.
39:16You've come a long way, baby.
39:19We think you have put your best work yet out there on the runway tonight.
39:25Sunny.
39:26Honey, forget about Alexander.
39:30As far as we are all concerned, you're Sunny the Great.
39:38Our decision was unanimous.
39:41The winner of Project Runway Canada is.
39:53Sunny.
39:54The winner of Project Runway Canada season two.
39:55It's so crazy.
39:56Yeah.
39:57The winner of Project Runway Canada season two is so crazy.
39:59Yeah.
40:00The winner of Project Runway Canada season two is so crazy.
40:04Yeah.
40:05So the winner of Project Runway Canada is Sunny Fong.
40:06Goddamn Sunny.
40:07Hey guys.
40:08Hi.

40:30Hi.
40:31Hi.
40:32Hi.
40:33Hi.
40:34Hi.
40:35Hi.
40:36Sunny one.
40:41They're not disappointed.
40:42I mean, it was really cool seeing this many talented people in the same room.
40:46It really opened my eyes.
40:48I'm going to take all this positive and negative and just turn it into all positive.
40:55Do you get to go home?
40:56Look out for Jason Myers, look out for Jessica Biffy, look out for Sunny Fong, and look out for
41:00all the other designers.
41:02I'm proud of what I showed.
41:04I'm really happy with what the judges said.
41:07I'm pretty sure a lot of viewers maybe didn't think that I would be in top three when this
41:11game started, but I definitely have learned a lot and this is one element to the bigger
41:16picture and there is a bigger picture, which is amazing.
41:20Love you so much.
41:22What next for Biffalicious?
41:24Well, I realized how much I love to make things that are interesting that people look at and
41:28say they want.
41:29I'm just going to do what I need to do to make it happen.
41:31I'm going to make it work.
41:33Sunny, congratulations.
41:34Thank you very much.
41:36And when are you going to design for me?
41:39Very soon.
41:40Thank you so much.
41:41Well done.
41:43And of course your model Tori has won as well, so let's bring her out.
41:48Yes.
41:49I'm so excited right now.
41:55I'm so excited that I was with him and I'm just really, really proud of him.
42:00Mom?
42:01Is that mom?
42:02That's mom.
42:03It was amazing for my mom to come out and be part of all this.
42:12Project Runway definitely has brought us closer together.
42:14For us to do and laugh and hug, you know, it's strange.
42:17We don't do that kind of stuff.
42:19For her to be more than what I normally see of her is actually really, really awesome.
42:25Sonny Fong, come here!
42:26Yay!
42:27Yay!
42:28Yay!
42:29Yay!
42:30Yay!
42:31Yay!
42:32Yay!
42:33Yay!
42:34Yay!
42:35Yay!
42:36Yay!
42:37Yay!
42:38Yay!
42:39I thought about quitting fashion if I didn't win this competition.
42:43Now it's totally a different story.
42:44I'm excited for the future and I think I can be greater.
42:56Is your favorite?
42:57You love me...
42:58Yay!
42:59Was your favorite experience?
43:01And you were主ing in mining video.
43:02Yay!
43:03They didn't win this and miss your home, look and I'm, you just couldn't be here.
43:05Yay!
43:06Yes!
43:07Its and my mum has reversed colors!
43:09The half of the tourmen beat Exactly.
43:10It's like you're never thinking of attacking your team, not getting them would.
43:13It doesn't Kathy but my friends!
43:15They didn't have high freedom of winning.
43:17Yeah, I think it's pretty good, like you thought.
43:19But, hasn't it tanta things, but nobody can own Seattle captives.
