00:00Previously on Project Runway Canada, there are only three spots in the finale, so tonight will be someone's final chapter.
00:07This is what I've been waiting for.
00:09This look was fabulous. I mean, it's fantastic.
00:12This is impeccable.
00:13The first designer to make it to the finale is Charles.
00:17Yay!
00:18The second designer joining us in the finale is Furtis.
00:23Oh, my God.
00:25Foster and Leland, you are both so talented in your own rights, but only one of you can move on to the finale.
00:37I feel so proud of myself that I didn't give up and I made it this far. Honestly, I've given them everything.
00:45Y'all know how badly I want this. I am sweating in so much rhinestone neoprene right now.
00:55Leland, you are in and you will be moving on to the finale. Congratulations.
01:07Thanks, you guys. I really appreciate it.
01:10Thank you so much. I can't believe it. It all paid off. I've never been this proud before.
01:16Foster, that means you are out.
01:19I am so proud of the work I did. You know, it's been a journey and I'm so honored to be standing here with these three incredible designers.
01:29Foster, I can tell your class act. And I'm so impressed of you. Do not change that. Can I give you a big, big hug?
01:36Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Congratulations. That's the love.
01:47Oh. Foster. Surprise, surprise.
01:50I want you to know that you have made me the proudest mentor.
01:56Oh, thank you.
01:59How do you feel?
02:00I guess I'm emotional in a way. It's always sad to get to the brink of something that you want and not have it.
02:08Watching you grow and develop has been absolutely insane. And you're really talented.
02:15Thank you, Aura. Can I give you a hug?
02:17Thank you so much.
02:19This does not take anything away from me. I wanted to see if I should stay in the business or have I just been telling myself a lie. But I'm a great designer. I just didn't win $100,000. But I'm excited about the future.
02:36Congratulations to our fabulous trio.
02:40You have made it to the finale.
02:43Are you ready to hear about your final challenge?
02:46Yeah.
02:47You will each have seven weeks and $10,000 to create your own collection of 10 looks.
02:56This is your chance to show your voice.
02:59And most importantly, why you deserve a feature spread in Elle Canada magazine.
03:05From TD, a career launching investment of $100,000.
03:10And the title of Canada's next great fashion designer.
03:15Before you go, us judges have some advice for you.
03:20You are three incredibly talented individuals in personality and in style.
03:30Leland, you are a master craftsman.
03:33But we question your ability to not be referential.
03:39You need to give us something that is authentically Leland in this finale.
03:45Curtis, we love your historical references.
03:48But we're really hoping to see some modernity in your final collection.
03:52Charles.
03:54We know a Charles design the moment it comes down that runway.
03:57But for your final collection, we need to be wowed like never before.
04:04Challenge accepted.
04:06All the best with your collections.
04:08And I can't wait to see what you come up with.
04:10Now go celebrate.
04:13We'll miss you.
04:14Bye.
04:15We'll miss you too.
04:16We did it!
04:17We made it!
04:18We're top three!
04:19I'm so excited for this.
04:21Woo!
04:22Top three!
04:23Top three!
04:24I'm smiling like a little kid.
04:25My cheeks hurt.
04:26I'm going to push myself so hard.
04:27This feels incredible.
04:28I've worked harder than I've ever worked in my entire life and it paid off.
04:44Thank God!
04:45Oh my God!
04:46my entire life and it paid off the final three to ten looks each and the chance to really show
05:08Canada who you are cheers cheers cheers take it all in and remember tomorrow the real work starts
05:18I'll be checking in at stake for the winner from TV a career-launching investment of $100,000
05:33and a feature in El Canada magazine with global supermodel Coco Rocha fashion designer Spencer
05:41Badu creative director Aurora James and legendary fashion journalist Jeannie Becker this is Project
05:49Runway Canada
05:50getting home I just feel like a serenity over myself this is my neighborhood this is my hood
06:07my shop in Chinatown means the world to me that's where I'm making the finale collection
06:13this is huge realistically I've got four out of ten looks about halfway done and I've never made a
06:20collection before so it feels a little scary being the person that has to make all of the decisions
06:26when I was coming into this I was afraid that I was going to be labeled as the costume designer but I
06:33made incredible high fashion garments I listened to the critiques and this is a once-in-a-lifetime
06:38opportunity to show the world this is who I am I'm just gonna put this over here okay yeah sure babe
06:47how do you feel about Aurora seeing the collection I feel good about it it is looking really cool and
06:54high fashion II so far I really want this to be a punk rock Chinatown collection I feel so confident in
07:03it and so excited to show it off it's gonna be good my you're gonna be front row going hmm you too
07:10poor boy you're gonna go everybody's gonna say Leland Mitchell and I'm gonna say yes he's my son yes
07:19he's my son it's been a month and I am so excited to check in with the designers I want to see some
07:27risks there's $100,000 on the line my first visits with Leland and I saw some questions about whether Leland is a
07:35fashion designer or a costume designer this is my Chinese grandma you kind of grew up in here a
07:52hundred percent they've owned this place since the 60s is he living your dream yes he is he's my twin oh
08:01oh ma it's in our genes I'm very very proud to see Leland accomplishing his goal in the Chinese
08:09culture you don't talk about your emotions and just having my mom realize and see everything it feels
08:17incredible oh ma any design advice that you give Leland don't overthink things keep it very basic oh wow
08:26that doesn't feel like a Leland thing I feel so seen right now I cannot wait to see this collection
08:34shall we let's do it with Leland I'm really expecting something that's colorful I'm imagining sequins or
08:43sparkle I'm just hoping that it's chic so come on in oh my gosh look at all of this
08:51wow absolutely incredible the dragon oh my god puff love him hyena Bruce in a top hat in the top he's a
09:04he's dapper you know never seen a stuffed hyena in someone's house before there is nothing subtle about
09:10Leland how has it been for you last month I've learned so much through this competition I feel
09:16wiser I feel ready to build a collection so I can already see everything kind of coming together one
09:23thing that I'm really leaning into this collection is my heritage and who I am as a person I really
09:29want to mix Scottish plaids with some Chinese embellishments and I've had this idea of just swimming in
09:36the back of my mind for years so what I've actually done here is this is a heat transfer vinyl that I've
09:41done in a branch pattern all across the skirt fabric and then after I'm done that I literally hand like
09:48stitch each individual cherry blossom on this to me screams what I would be wearing out all right there
09:56definitely is a lot going on here there's no shortage of color this yellow is like very yellow
10:02with the pink yep it's giving theme theme okay I understand it's a lot but this is what I do sparkly
10:10plaids with too much on it is every look in this collection plaid no seven to eight
10:17I'm concerned there's just too much plaid right now I'm not sold because it's just so on the nose
10:27this is only for looks though are there going to be looks that are slightly more subtle I can show you
10:33a few little sketches sure I'm so excited for this one because it's gonna be like a bagpipe skirt that
10:39are gonna be creating a fan effect behind the model okay this is your finale look do you want to see
10:46them maybe finale look I want to see the maybe finale look I'm really leaning into like an anime
10:52Wong Chinese dragon moment you know not what I would have chosen but Leland will Leland it just
11:02re-authenticates for me who Leland is the bones are totally here like to me this is a really beautiful
11:10shape I love the transfer that you've done onto it would love to see a leather pant on this
11:15like make it wearable totally agree with you it's also critical that you make a hero piece that is
11:24not solely the theme got it what is the piece that Coco the genie that everyone that's seeing is gonna be
11:32like oh I have to have this I need Leland to give me something that can walk on the steps of the Met Gala
11:39remember what your mom said keep it simple keep it keep it basic remember I'm not throwing away these
11:46designs but one thing I think I really need to incorporate here is a tamedown version of me I'm gonna
11:52leave you to it I will see you in a few weeks back at the workroom for Leland so much of his whole career
12:01has been about his clients making costumes for people I don't know if Leland can figure all of
12:07this out this out in three weeks but that's the assignment I can't believe Aurora was in my house oh my
12:13god returning home has been really great but also a little bit isolating I have a lot of work to get
12:22done and I normally do bespoke one-of-one pieces I've never done a collection of this scale before so this is
12:31the ultimate challenge not only am I making a massive collection I'm also holding up a mirror
12:36to myself as a designer and really looking at who I am and what I want to present to the world so it's
12:42pretty scary with Curtis I'm really looking forward to seeing something completely unique Curtis is
12:48someone who's constantly surprised me fascinated me always piques my curiosity
12:53I mean this is very period a little bit religious do you live here yeah and my secret studio is hiding
13:14right behind that curtain oh my gosh let's go take a peek I'm really excited to have Aurora in here and
13:22get a fresh set of eyes on these garments because right now I've got rose-tinted glasses on and I
13:27know she's gonna give it to me straight welcome to the studio I am obsessed what is all of this there's
13:38so much here so this is my little altar and a lot of my looks are referencing these very typical binary
13:46feminine and masculine characters my inspiration for this collection is I spent so long being fearful
13:52of everybody else but now it's time for people to start fearing me oh I love that I mean I will say
13:58over the course of this competition you have really blossomed and it's been an absolute joy to see I did
14:06not expect to grow and change as much as I did I don't even recognize the designer I was at the
14:12beginning of this competition now I'm taking big swings I'm doing experimental stuff so I think there's no
14:19choice but to let me have that one what is this you're trying to spoil the surprise I have a pretty
14:27ambitious idea for my final look and I'm actually gonna be constructing what is going to be an entire
14:34suit of armor created out of embossed tin whoa this tin dress is gonna be show-stopping I don't think the
14:43judges have seen anything like this before so I'm hoping to really shut it down with this look the
14:49inspiration is amazing but it feels like there's a lot going on there are so many ideas in my head and
14:56there's only 10 looks and I only have three more weeks so I really got to figure out what looks are
15:02going to sell this collection it might not look like it right now okay but this is going to be my
15:09opening look I've created this really beautiful shattered lace 17th century inspired corset piece I
15:15think where I'm struggling is the bright white it's just too harsh the white makes this really expensive
15:24lace look cheap damn okay similarly the first thing I noticed in this was the white I think
15:32you're gonna have to redo it I might not have the time but that doesn't mean I won't find the time this
15:36needs to be fixed and it needs to be fixed now all right let's see this look this one I have to say
15:44obsess oh thank god thank you this could be like a gala moment I went for a walk and I found football
15:54shoulder pads on the street and I took it as a sign keep going here I think that the gown is the
16:02perfect combination of historical reference but modern beautiful and wearable I mean it's very good
16:09but you have to keep reaching inside pulling it out and taking risks going into the finale I do
16:17consider myself a bit of a dark horse I only have one win under my belt it's kind of intimidating but
16:23now I'm done being fearful of everyone else hi hi hello so nice to meet you hi you as well this is my
16:35family this is who's responsible did you always know that Curtis was gonna be this incredible fashion
16:44design yes you did fashion's been his whole life there's a shot Curtis could win this whole thing he
16:55amazes us thanks dad he deserves it because he works hard he's very very creative when you went into
17:02this competition I was scared for you I was worried how are you gonna cope with it and then the one
17:09thing you said to me is I don't have the luxury of being afraid if I'm gonna make it in this industry I
17:16need to step up I need to show what I can do and those were such grown-up words I'm very proud of you at
17:22that moment and now it's like a hundred times more I love you mom I love you too it's been such a
17:31pleasure meeting you both Curtis you have a lot to do I do I'm gonna leave you to it you guys get back
17:38to work too I know the judges really don't want Curtis to go historical and I do see a little bit
17:47of that here but Curtis is being super ambitious which is exactly what we need I think it's going
17:53in a really great direction but there's a lot of work between where we are and where we need Curtis to
17:58be the last few weeks have been the most draining I've been working 16 17 hour days I'm at my limit
18:11I'm probably the most tired I've ever been people have no idea how physically taxing it is to make
18:17garments from scratch and I have to be at my peak in order to deliver but I know I have so much
18:24responsibility to create the collection in a right way I'm really fueled to continue I don't doubt that
18:36Charles is gonna deliver something really exciting for the finale if it is the thing that can win him
18:42project runway Canada this remains to be seen I'm so happy to be here it's been so long is this your
18:53house so we're actually at my parents home really and now my studio is downstairs can we go take a look
18:59just absolutely I'm trying to show you I'm nervous for her to see the collection she's going to be the
19:04first person to see this oh my gosh to my studio wow are these your parents these are my parents this
19:15is my inspiration I'm Vietnamese and it started with me meeting my grandmother for the first time not
19:22just like chatting like I met her spoke to her how old were you to this year traveling to Vietnam I
19:28really felt connected to my roots it wasn't just about me meeting my grandmother it was about my whole
19:34family and their journey coming from Vietnam as refugees to Canada it was so life-changing
19:40reflecting on my heritage and so telling the story in this way it's a love letter it's not a collection
19:48and it's a big I love you to my family it wasn't until I was in this competition that I was ready to
19:56tell the story this is making me so happy yeah because that's a creative breakthrough yeah and especially
20:02like once I saw my mom's wedding photos I knew where to go I was really inspired by her wedding
20:08dress and like the shape of the trousers with the alley eye which is a traditional long shirt over the
20:13pants this is like my most authentic self it's beautiful thank you so much it is so hard to make an
20:20emotional collection he's being vulnerable he's being raw and he's putting that on the line for judgment
20:26here it is oh wow my collection really is about the intersection between utility streetwear and couture
20:35it's my best work the amount of work that has gone into this is so apparent to me there are elements of
20:44this collection that I was expecting to see I'm not surprised I'm seeing a lot of black white cream those
20:49are the Charles staples but the references how he's bringing his Vietnamese family into this work he's
20:55really taking it to another level when I look at this collection I ask myself like where am I wearing these
21:02pieces and what is wearable these are big powerful looks this could be a winning collection but you have to find a
21:13path into people's closets yes because this won't fit in my closet literally my collection definitely
21:23does have some giant pieces so now it's time for me to really reel this whole thing in obviously I really
21:29want to win but I also need to tell the story in the right way I think you know what to do but you
21:35still have a few hundred hours worth of work to go you're 30 percent of the way there I can still do
21:43it I can do it there's more in me my biggest fear with Charles is that he's actually gonna burn himself
21:47out Charles is his biggest critic and his harshest judge my dad and my sister hi hi you all haven't
22:05seen anything downstairs yet is that right nothing under wraps very excited to see it he told me
22:13downstairs that this is his best work yet it's art to him it's not just a piece of clothing it's as an
22:23expression so we're very proud of him for sure everything he touches turns into gold my family
22:31means the world to me it really motivates me to do my absolute best and I want this badly if he wins
22:37this it's a game changer right I decided for him you know I really want him happy Charles thank you
22:46for sharing this collection with me I can't wait for you all to see it as well I'm gonna keep the
22:52secret in the meantime and I know that you have a lot of work to do so I'll see you back in the workroom
22:58I'll see you back in the workroom very soon as beautiful as some of what I've seen is for Charles
23:04to really take this he needs to scale some of it down it has to be wearable and that is absolutely
23:10critical if he wants to win this competition I feel a lot of pressure right now I've been through a lot
23:19in my life I've had moments where I could almost taste what I've wanted and for that to be ripped
23:24away from me I'm very strong and there's no way I'm giving up before the end
23:28I was born for this moment I want the glory there's nothing that can stop me now I know it's for me
23:47I was born for this instant I want the glory yes I want the glory yes I want the glory
23:54being here in the finale this is starting to get real a hundred thousand dollars would change my
24:02life I might not have as many wins as Charles and Leland but I'm taking risks because that's who I am
24:08as a designer so I deserve to win this competition winning project runway Canada would be such a
24:18validating experience this has been a lifelong childhood dream everything in my career led me
24:24here to this exact moment baby I earned my spot in this finale I want to win so badly it's everything
24:36I've ever dreamed of I might be this costume designer and it might be easy to write me off but I'm gonna
24:43eat this competition up I've been waiting for this moment for so long and I can't believe this is
24:50finally happening I can't wait to see what Charles and Leland have been working on okay so this is what the
25:00finale looks like all my stuff is here this is getting really real I feel really good about what
25:09I am bringing but there's just too much to do I can't even begin to make a checklist because I would
25:15need way too much paper I love the finale workroom baby we're here whoa this last two weeks I'm not
25:29kidding it was like 18 hours a day I was just working it working and working it coming up with these ten
25:36incredible looks that are all cohesive and that all match and go together it's really pushed me outside my
25:42comfort zone I've added some leather items a gorgeous leather gown a cool rhinestone tank top I just
25:48had this creative drive in me to be like let's do this it's so big where's everyone
26:04after my hometown visit with Aurora I really forced myself to create pieces and silhouettes that were
26:19more wearable because it's easy to make really crazy big pieces she really pushed me to simplify do I
26:26see pink you see pink oh my god she's taking a big swing I swear I go outside my comfort zone
26:33Charles did pink I'm sure he thinks this is revolutionary believe that believe that now there's so many fun
26:44things I got obsessed with this giant orange my designs are fun they're camp this is my collection so it
26:51is so important that this screams Leland not shout I want to scream Leland but here's the collection I
27:01have no doubt that Charles is gonna give us white and black with some stripes this is inspired by an
27:06orchid and Curtis is gonna give us codpiece and nipple piercings and goth I made this corset and then I
27:15printed it onto a t-shirt that is really fun one of my like big wow moments is this giant mermaid like low-rise
27:23sequin moment Aurora made me shift my perspective in terms of this collection beautiful I love what
27:31you did so good I have some very wearable pieces that I've integrated my historical thumbprint onto but
27:38I've subverted them and made them feel super modern and really cohesive together probably some of the most
27:44wearable stuff that I've done I feel like my collection is the best one I'm sure Leland
27:49thinks his is the best and I know for a fact Charles thinks he's already won I have so much hand
27:54finishing to do hello designer we're back I'd be lying if I didn't tell you that I kind of missed y'all we are two days away from the final runway this is all happening
28:12we are standing in the former home of a historic fashion institution for decades this space showcased
28:22masterful creations from the likes of Oscar de la Renta Versace Dior maybe yours truly and in 48 hours it'll
28:33be your collections that take center stage right here you've spent weeks on your designs and now it
28:43is time to choose the models that will sell your voice and your vision what are you looking for in a
28:49model for me the less gender the better I want everything so I can just blur it all together and
28:54take gender out of the equation completely I want people who have personality and I have so many Asian
28:59influences in mine I really would love to obviously showcase that on some Asian models I'm looking
29:05for people with a lot of personal strength and contemporary elegance each of you needs to choose 10
29:11models leave no crumbs they're gonna be selling your collections let's bring our first model in
29:17okay this one we're gonna have to fight over she isn't my colors they're mine I'm looking for
29:28models who can own the runway I'm gonna fight for you the collection itself is just so fun campy so I
29:36think I really need to like get the personality they're so cute did you just point your toe were you a
29:41dancer perfect for my collection so which one of you needs a male model I know I need to I need to do my
29:54but I also need to technically mine can go on anybody with this collection I really just want
30:00to drive home this point that gender does not exist and I want to do that with models that can relate to
30:06that concept they're mine no question about it a model can make or break her now but we need these models to
30:20really embody this elegance this confidence I love your walk this is screaming Leland Charles that is my model
30:33you want it I have to have her we're all really good okay so the first one I think I'm gonna clock
30:39is Alice is mine I'll see that thank you so much you take Alice I'll take Caleb I think she's actually
30:46better suited for my collection it's gonna be Maya oh oh no Sharon you wanted Sharon I just want to know
30:54who's taking Yen Yen is that girl and you know what something about his Colin Yen you wanted to walk for
30:59me no let's put up all the male models that we've seen today I need tope and I need Braden I feel like
31:08I need Shane and Wes I could do Shane and Michael yeah you guys can figure it out okay it's down to us
31:13take Wes all right so you're all set oh yeah first fitting starts now all right these are our finale
31:23models get fitting okay kids this one's gonna be a fun one okay there we go it's gonna be so cool
31:33could be an off-the-shoulder moment that's kind of fierce is it feeling it's gonna get loose now it
31:39hits you in the right spot it's gonna put a pink scarf in my head I'm just thinking about all the
31:45things I have to get done I'm feeling overwhelmed looks like that will at least fit in a suitcase yeah
31:50there's a few that well there's a few that well does that feel okay under your ribs yeah so right
31:56now there's a giant velcro panel in the back come on little baby you know sometimes people don't take
32:07me seriously no offense but that is who I am and that's what I'm running with and that's who I'm
32:12gonna be when this is done too wow we're ready I also don't care about what the others think love I
32:20love it I'm really relieved it fits you better than I thought it would how's it going over here
32:25the vision is coming alive has the collection changed have we grown in the last little while
32:29I made this really kind of futuristic hip and yay I managed to find another pair of those same
32:35football padding and I covered them in lace do you feel like we're modern here I feel like I've
32:39pushed beyond modern and I've gotten almost more futuristic whoa you're gonna hate this you're gonna
32:45you're not doing it to this look no why you know who's gonna be really excited to get these who the bargain
32:54bin bargain bin bargain bin this is not for your finale show I mean I spent two full days individually
33:06coating all of these knee pads what about the wrist ones don't need it we don't need it less is more
33:13sometimes next talk me through this look after you'd made me freak out yeah I tried to fix that corset
33:20and ended up making it terrible so now I do have to make it again from scratch so you're gonna remake
33:24in the next 48 hours yeah well 48 hours to push it all right okay the t-shirts queue I gotta put the
33:32work in this work room I have a full corset to create tons of places that still need lace trim
33:37and embellishment hats that I fully have to make I have decorative elements that still have to go on
33:43so it's gonna be a hard couple days the fact that I made this is crazy the fact that I made any of
33:48this I'm very tired hey Charles hi I'm truly in love with what's come out of me show me this is the
33:56opening piece what's next I kind of wanted to build up upon this idea of like this sport wear tuxedo
34:04jacket is the bottom done done it's done done I'm on the fence about leaving a train if you can hem it
34:12so it just kisses the ground that will be great yeah all right still some tweaks that need to happen
34:21all right Leland hey how are you feeling I feel incredible I feel so good I feel excited I did take
34:31what you told me during our little hometown visit that it can't all be plaid so should we talk about
34:36the dragon it's very subtle right you barely see it you abandoned subtle a long time ago this is this to me
34:42is cool camp fun costumey and it's still fashion I know that this took a lot of work I just want you to
34:49pull inside yourself and say how else can I make it feel more like haute couture I need this to be
34:56archival this needs to be an incredible work of art then baby I got more work to do
35:01okay drop it like it's hot
35:03hmm okay shall we start getting a dress then
35:10I'm probably about 85 90 percent done I have to restone the tanks and I have to fix the drop crotch
35:21on these pants just to make sure they fit perfectly
35:24what the hell did I do I'm trying to remake the corset that goes with my printed t-shirt in the panic of
35:41getting ready to come back to this finale I cut the pieces of this corset incorrectly and I now have to
35:47start over it is extra stressful when it's two days before the runway and the winner of this challenge
35:53gets a hundred K I'm like at this point what's possible I know like physically what is possible
36:01there's so much I need to get done that list is getting long and I'm one person I'm at my absolute
36:12limit I'm exhausted and honestly I thought this would be the easiest part the hand sewing I can't
36:18rush no so I want to get that out of the way first you can't rush hand sewing how did I get here it is so
36:28baffling to me because I thought I had this under control and right now I'm going to admit I don't
36:34tomorrow's runway day and I have four outfits to still alter so I'm just trying my best to get
36:50ahead before the next model show up okay it's day two in the workroom and the heat's on for sure I just
36:57realized I made another mistake that I made when I was at home I have sewn this corset incorrectly
37:04three or four times I have to recut I got to make sure my finishing is absolutely perfect because
37:11the runway is tomorrow it should have been so much easier than it has for the gray hoodie look I still
37:21have to add this bias tape which I have to hand sew on the very top and then fix all of the drawstrings
37:26it's so much work and I'm just afraid that I'm not going to get it done I just need to look at it
37:33being like just finish it good morning designers good morning time to start thinking about hair and
37:41makeup L'oreal Paris has sent you kits to help you get inspired to sketch out some ideas and I'll be
37:48back a little later I think with the makeup I just want a heavier blush on the side to echo into the
37:59Chinese influence and then smoky eye for everyone across the board to really sell this grungy punk
38:04thing I'm designing an entire universe I need to make sure these looks are head to toe perfect so
38:10I'm thinking bold brows and a beautiful glossy lip I really want to make a sculpted contoured eye
38:17with a beautiful smoky liner bold brows that really go up and out as well having the perfect face really
38:25is an extension of the story oh my gosh okay I need to stop there's work to be done love you L'oreal
38:32all right guess what models come on in hi everybody welcome let's get you in these pieces I know
38:47exactly what you'll be wearing I know exactly what you'll be wearing all right hey how are you good
38:52how are you so this is this awesome split split outfit I really wanted to do a half leather half
38:59varsity jacket this is great the jacket feels wearable shoppable totally totally all right
39:05what's next I've got this dress on Chelsea's eating it up alive I'm so happy with this one is this your
39:11finale it's between this and dragon why don't we line everyone up and give me an idea of what you're
39:17thinking the order is going to be I think the three most important garments are leather dress
39:23gold dragon bagpipe they're really distinct moments okay if it were me I would switch these two seeing
39:33them together I do think yes honey I think you're closing the show sorry and I love you it's looking
39:39fun it's looking great I think the leather dress is going to be the finale look that is a couture high
39:46fashion garment right there how's it going over here so we've got this super great like striped
39:53wool coat and we've got a Victorian BBL in the back feels historic and modern oh it's perfect talk to me
40:02about these sailors this top which you called cheap the last time you saw it now looks a little bit more
40:07expensive at my hometown visit Aurora pointed out some issues with the way I was using my place I went back
40:14in and redid a couple pieces to make sure that this stark bright white was nowhere to be found yeah
40:20this is better I want to see our tin girl saunter over don't collide making this skirt was really difficult
40:30so I hope all that pays off I cut it all up and made it into like shingle sized pieces I made this
40:37little like raw edge leather belt I think it's like interesting but I don't know about this belt
40:43okay what happens if we take it off I mean I think it feels more elevated because this is just feels a
40:52little raw you have to decide yeah I'm gonna do some pinning stuff but first I'm gonna get you out of
41:00your tin skirt okay wow Charles there's whole new silhouettes that were not here when I came over
41:09your house yes so after a discussion about embracing pieces that are more wearable and relatable I just
41:14wanted to take the best parts of the silhouettes but make them modern and then also add a little color I
41:21was not expecting a full pink look I don't love a lot of colors but pink is one of the colors I really
41:27really love the pink blush look is so representative of the person I've become there's a little hardness
41:34but there's softness to this look it's interesting because there's so much structure here and this
41:41look is really fluid this is probably the most fluid piece apart from the sleeves of this one but I
41:51can't just pin them in I need to hand sew them properly inside so is this like the big to-do list
41:58item wait this is also the finale this is the finale oh I'm freaking out where are the sleeves one of
42:06them is here okay they're still in pieces or what I had to do everything else the finale look you're not
42:14supposed to leave until the finale the runway is tomorrow
