00:00New York City. This is Fashion Week. Making it here takes more than talent. You need connections, clout, and cash. Until now.
00:13We send fashion experts to four cities to find the best undiscovered designers in America.
00:20The search began in Los Angeles at the Downtown Standard Hotel.
00:25If given the right fabrics, like, I can kick ass.
00:29You remind me of Todd Odom.
00:32Chicago was our next stop.
00:34I want a chance. I am the struggling artist. I am the underdog.
00:38Have you sold any of your work?
00:39Yeah, I've been selling stuff. I sell it out of my trunk.
00:42The search moved on to New York.
00:44It's edgy and nobody has done it.
00:46Who do you see wearing this besides yourself? New York.
00:50I think we're interested in seeing what you could do.
00:53Great. She won't be sorry.
00:55In Miami, the Fontainebleau Hilton was the end of the line.
00:59We want to go ahead and make you a finalist.
01:02Congratulations.
01:03I made it. I made it.
01:05A panel of judges met to discuss the finalists.
01:08Slinky, slinky.
01:09And narrowed it down to the 12 best.
01:11Project Runway offers these 12 unknown designers a chance to show America and the fashion world what they can do.
01:18Every week we'll give them a different challenge that will test their abilities to the limit.
01:23Hey!
01:24And the top names in the industry will be judging them.
01:26This just feels unfinished.
01:28I look at the fur and right away I'm like, I'm in Prada land.
01:32One designer will be cut every week until three remain.
01:36Those three will show their line at Olympus Fashion Week.
01:39Then one winner will be chosen.
01:41The winner will receive a spread in Elle Magazine, a mentorship with the Banana Republic design team,
01:47and $100,000 to start their own line.
01:50It's a head start that money just can't buy.
01:53Given to one designer who earns it where it counts on the runway.
02:02This is a search for the next big fashion designer.
02:05It's a cutthroat business.
02:07The competition was fierce.
02:09Twelve contestants, three finalists, and one winner.
02:14Three designers will make their runway debut at Olympus Fashion Week.
02:17I plan to make it to Fashion Week.
02:19I think I'll be number one.
02:20And the winner of Project Runway will receive everything they need to start their own label.
02:24I think I deserve to win.
02:26People are gonna start getting pretty bitchy.
02:28Oh my.
02:29For these twelve contestants, Project Runway is the chance of a lifetime.
02:41The heart of fashion is New York.
02:43You know, if you plan to become a fashion designer, here would be the place.
02:48I never compromise my art.
02:49I try to satisfy myself and nobody else.
02:56I just finished school at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.
03:01I was recognized for two years in a row in winning best collections.
03:05I've always had this love of clothes.
03:10I mean, as a child, it was just creating like these fairytale gowns, like playing dress-up.
03:15In high school, I definitely tried to fit in and be like a regular person.
03:22But no matter how much I tried, I still got completely teased.
03:25How are you doing?
03:26I'm Austin.
03:27Austin, Robert.
03:28Nice to meet you.
03:29Hi, Nora.
03:30Nora, how do you do?
03:31I worked in porn for an online sex website.
03:38Yes, I was making good money, but everything I did, everything I looked at, my couch, my table,
03:42my cat, my everything was bought with dirty money.
03:46And I wanted to concentrate on designing again.
03:48My boss said, well, if you're such a great designer, well, why aren't you doing anything?
03:52And a week later, I quit and I was like, you know what?
03:54You're right.
03:55Do you believe these mother made me unload their luggage?
04:06Hello, everybody.
04:07Welcome.
04:08Hi.
04:09You're in New York, 12 of you, the cream of the crop.
04:13We looked at hundreds of people and you guys made it.
04:15So I want to welcome you guys to your new home.
04:17This is the Atlas New York apartment.
04:20You guys are going to be staying here for a while, some longer than others.
04:27I'm going to give you guys your keys and then later I'm going to meet you at Parsons School of Design.
04:32All right, take a step, let's go.
04:39Whoa!
04:40You got it.
04:41You're so cute.
04:42Oh.
04:43Ever since I was a young girl, I always loved fashion.
04:46So I went to school for it and now I have my own line selling in different boutiques.
04:51People a lot of times underestimate me and how intelligent I am.
04:56I'm a costume designer.
04:57The thing I love about costume designing is designing for different artists and Queen Latifah was one of them.
05:03On the movie set, people always say, why don't you have your line out there?
05:07So this has been like a dream of mine that I've always wanted to have my own line.
05:1228.
05:13Cheers.
05:14Cheers.
05:15Currently, I'm a lawyer in a prominent law firm.
05:19But I love fashion design and it just, it makes me so happy to do it.
05:23The struggle is that I have so much to lose and so much invested in law already.
05:28But at the same time, but I'd also like to be a really successful fashion designer.
05:32Hey, can you look after me?
05:33I'm so unhealthy.
05:34I'm the fattest one.
05:35I'm sharing my living space with Miss Venezuela, Audrey Hepburn and Miss Caribbean.
05:42So they're absolute babes and then there's me.
05:46The past 10 years of my life have been completely dedicated to starting a small fashion design business based in Houston.
05:54It's been incredibly difficult.
05:56I definitely want my clothes to be more readily available throughout America.
06:01I am married and I have a five year old daughter.
06:14I have a small business in a small town in Virginia.
06:18There is no way I would have access to the parts of the industry that Project Runway is going to afford me.
06:25I feel like because I am a mom, the kitchen is really important.
06:30If we get too stressed out and we don't eat correctly, like good food and healthy food, we're not going to produce what we know we can.
06:39Number one, we have to take care of each other.
06:41We have to have our core four that we watch out for.
06:44Because you cannot care about 11 other people, but you can care about three.
06:48Wendy's great.
06:49I like to call her mom because she treats us like we're her kids, which is great.
06:54I got into fashion through my mother.
06:57She owned a hair salon and in front of me was, you know, basically fashion.
07:00My inspiration is basically cars, sports cars like a woman.
07:04You know, they're both sleek, sexy and extremely dangerous.
07:12Here it is, people. Here it is.
07:14It's great. It's great.
07:17I've been designing for 12 years.
07:21I got into it because it's a family business.
07:24My parents didn't want me to get into the fashion business because the apparel business is very tough.
07:29My goal is to be a great American designer.
07:33All right, can we establish something? Who smokes? Who doesn't?
07:36I don't smoke.
07:37You smoke?
07:38Who smokes?
07:39Fashion designers smoke.
07:41Didn't you get this newsletter?
07:42I didn't know that.
07:43Honestly.
07:44I'm from L.A.
07:45We just 10.
07:46I want the world to see what I could offer to the fashion industry.
07:50In 1999, I launched my first collection.
07:54Actually, my first and only collection.
07:56But my father actually got two strokes.
07:59So, I had to basically take over the family business.
08:03It's a wedding chapel in Los Angeles, actually.
08:05Secret of life.
08:06Now, he's in excellent health.
08:08And I'm able now to follow my bliss again this year.
08:12What time did Heidi say we had to meet her?
08:14I don't know.
08:15I was just staring at her face the whole time.
08:17I'm kidding.
08:18We are at Parsons School of Design.
08:31This will be your working space.
08:33And this is Tim Gunn.
08:35He's the head of the fashion program here.
08:37He will take care of you, but he will not solve your problems.
08:41Welcome, everyone.
08:42I'm very proud to have you here at Parsons.
08:44You will be working in the shadow of many illustrious alumni,
08:47including Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, Narcisa Rodriguez, Tom Ford.
08:52Some of you, certainly one of you,
08:54will be joining that distinguished company
08:56at the end of the challenges of Project Runway.
08:59So, welcome.
09:00We're thrilled to have you here.
09:01Let's have a look.
09:05This is where the magic happens.
09:07The fact that it's just been held at Parsons is huge.
09:11And you do think your name could be listed
09:14next to all the great designers that have come from here.
09:16Okay, everyone.
09:17This is your workspace.
09:19Over here, you'll find the Banana Republic accessories wall.
09:22And in the corner are bolts of cotton,
09:24the official fabric of Project Runway.
09:27Okay, let's go downstairs.
09:28Let's see the runway.
09:29Let's take a look where your fate will be decided.
09:32Designers, this is where the judging and elimination will take place.
09:45The first challenge is about innovation.
09:49And we will judge you on that.
09:51I want you to design a sexy, glamorous dress for a night out in town.
09:58Tim will take you to a store where all the famous designers go.
10:02And you cannot start work on this challenge until your shopping trip tomorrow.
10:06This is where your garments will be shown off.
10:12And they will be shown off by beautiful models.
10:15Models are very crucial because a model can make or break your outfit.
10:20So let's bring out the models.
10:24Alison, Audrey, Aaron.
10:29The models, you know, sell the dress.
10:32You know, you need a girl who is as passionate about winning as you are.
10:37I will choose your names randomly and then you can choose your model.
10:47Austin.
10:48Olga.
10:50Robert.
10:51I pick Melissa.
10:54Alexandra.
10:55Julia.
10:57I picked my model Julia because she's the tallest and I think the taller the better.
11:02Vanessa.
11:03I choose Joy.
11:04Joy it is.
11:05Mario.
11:07Aaron.
11:09Kara.
11:12Morgan.
11:15Next one is Kevin.
11:17Martinique.
11:22Daniel.
11:24Mary, you're hired.
11:27Wendy.
11:29Heidi.
11:30I choose Josiane.
11:31Okay.
11:35I think I know who I choose.
11:41You have a star.
11:42Thanks.
11:45I had a couple first choices, but Audrey, she's a gorgeous girl and I think she's going to look really great.
11:50You will have the chance to see our models very soon again and that will be tonight because I'm going to host a little party for you guys tonight.
11:58I thought it was a good idea to start it off nice.
11:59So you guys can relax a little bit tonight and have some fun because from now on it will get tough.
12:12You have the most gorgeous hair.
12:13Boy, look at you.
12:14All the models were there and it was really all of the designers first chance to really interact with the models that they've chosen.
12:18You worked with Queen Latifah and Eve.
12:19I got the lowdown on you guys.
12:21I can't wait until the bitch moments start coming out.
12:37I worked with Queen Latifah and Eve.
12:40I got the low down on you guys.
12:44I can't wait till the bitch moments start coming in.
12:46That's going to be my favorite to be like,
12:48bitch has lost her mind.
12:50Our bitch is crazy.
12:52The models, they're just all breathtaking to me.
12:54I think they're all really beautiful girls, especially Olga.
12:58That chick is like sex on legs.
12:59She's hot.
13:00The designers want to see the girls walk.
13:02So yeah, why don't we?
13:04Right?
13:07All I care about is taking this prize home.
13:22I mean, the other contestants, I'd love to chum it up with all of them
13:25and stay laughing with them all the time.
13:27But I felt that that was going to distract me.
13:30Daniel is not too social.
13:33He's pretty calculated, I think, as far as why he's here.
13:36I love you.
13:37I love you.
13:38Go, Heidi.
13:39Go, Heidi.
13:40Go, Heidi.
13:41Go, Heidi.
13:51Project Runway.
13:52Project Runway.
13:53Project Runway.
13:53Project Runway.
13:54Yeah.
13:54Woo, woo.
13:55Woo.
13:56Woo, woo.
13:56Woo, woo, woo.
13:58Woo, woo, woo.
14:00Coming up on Project Runway.
14:02Are you ready for your first challenge?
14:03this is where we're going to shop for the first time i felt fear
14:11we met tim in the morning and he said let's go shopping our first challenge was to design
14:24something glamorous and sexy for a night out on the town we sort of headed in the direction of
14:29the garment district fabric stores and then we kept going uptown i was asking people who lived in
14:36new york i'm like have you ever been to any fabric stores up here this is our destination
14:43the supermarket indeed we show up at this grocery store and for the first time i felt fear i thought
14:57we were going to be at this like amazing fabric store with all these like couture fabrics welcome
15:03to gristides the site of your first challenge in heidi's words yesterday this challenge is about
15:08creating a glamorous outfit for evening and these are your supplies
15:14everything that you will use to design and fabricate this challenge must be purchased here we're not
15:23making any other stops this is why we're calling this challenge innovation you must innovate so be
15:30as unconventional as you can be in your thinking and make it work here you will each have fifty dollars
15:36in this envelope and you will have one hour okay show us what you've got i shop every day of my life
15:43i've never approached a grocery store with fear i don't know what to do
15:46crazy though i went off around the supermarket with an open mind ruling out the office no melons or
16:02anything that might go soggy why do they make like home interior stuff in the colors
16:07i'm done this is what i'm getting this is all i need maybe if i have money left over i'll get some
16:15extra this just in case but um yeah i already have the whole thing planned out what's the q-tips for
16:21um for me i didn't bring any
16:23i believe that all these materials have their own beautiful spiritual quality
16:33jesus what are we gonna do
16:35do you have any ribbon
16:40i took every last drop of ribbon i know some other people are looking for it but i just took everything
16:48my main ingredient are the corn husks which if you think about it is really like nature's fabric
16:57because it's like a fiber it even has like a weft and a warp to it almost
17:02i saw this lounge chair up there and i said oh my god that blue lounge chair is freaking fabulous
17:10thank you
17:11how much are these a piece do you know
17:13what do i need
17:13i got some silver sparkly paper and i was like oh that's awesome i can totally use that
17:19and then i started looking around for things that would kind of coordinate with it
17:23project runway you have five minutes
17:28attention runway shoppers
17:31project runway this is it check out
17:38you have 50 for feet
17:4050 cents i need 50 cents
17:45can i break this in half and then pay for half a minute
17:48i'm a serious designer and i like serious challenges
17:52this design project i feel it's gonna be no sweat
17:55designers you have from now until midnight tonight tomorrow you'll have a few hours before the runway judging
18:09innovate and go for it okay okay my fish is getting stinky do you have a freezer here
18:17it's behind it yes i got fish
18:18i grabbed a bunch of like brown pantyhose and brown socks and i'm gonna do a really pretty dress
18:26i picked some interesting things i mean i picked mop heads which i'm gonna plan to make like a hulu skirt and i bought falafel bread to make like a corset top
18:39i was basically freaking out i'm like oh no what am i gonna do i have nothing but like this corn husk and like a potato chip bag this is the very first competition i'm gonna like screw it for myself
18:50my idea was to make this carnival thing i'm really using extremely bizarre materials i don't know how i'm actually gonna make it
19:00there done
19:07now mario shower curtain
19:12and i'm done
19:14i'm done already
19:15i just like draped it around like tied it together and that's it
19:18it's like whatever come on you're a long time still
19:21mario is a rebel here he's just i don't care i'm doing this i'm gonna wrap the fabric
19:28we were all working mario's like sitting on the table sleeping taking cigarette breaks
19:34he doesn't care that's his style
19:36it's very amateurish with no true direction and no sense of purpose or style
19:42is mario smarter than me because he bought a shower curtain and he made it in 15 minutes
19:46or is he looking for the easy way out
19:51what is wrong with you
19:55don't try this at home folks
19:58it takes trained professionals to take to take one inch strips of tin foil and bind a jacket
20:04daniel's approach is so like bob barker what do we have next we have a fashion challenge and it's gonna
20:13be great like uh it makes me like want to leave the room
20:17so what's going on with your design creatively i'm fine
20:23but mentally man are you feeling that the cutthroatness of it in there yeah
20:30it's not pushing through because it's not fabric i've been like tugging it through
20:39half the day i've been spent fussing with this weaving i know i'm a good designer and i can do
20:49it but am i an idiot for picking these like corn husks now to keep that together are you just gonna
20:54use like clear tape on one i might just totally redo this austin no austin you just like spent hours
21:00on it i know but it doesn't look good okay you know why you just don't like it right now because
21:04you have so much around it and it's not clean yeah but first of all i'd have to like weave an
21:09even bigger piece to make a whole bodice i do tend to like get myself into these like
21:15over elaborate projects and end up like you know screwing myself in the end
21:24coming up on project runway today is the d-day i know there's a funeral everybody else's model was
21:30dressed and my model's not here if she doesn't come go to the street and go get a model
21:47we were given a challenge to make a sexy outfit for a night on the town
21:51i used butcher paper for the jacket but it was a great color it reminded me of a of a suede or or
21:56even like a taffeta i felt that that is stylish compared to star i don't think that she has
22:03enough experience as a designer to realize that you need style i'm really terrified that i'm gonna
22:10be the one to go home just because my dress is really gaudy and i'm feeling like it's pretty disgusting
22:17how is everyone i came back how are you doing good what's happening with the bus line um well right
22:32here it's going to be painted oh but that's why i got this on the model yes okay does she know no
22:41what's going on vanessa i've got so excited about putting all this black stuff everywhere
22:49that i kind of lost the shape does it need to be full length no but i just i've done all this work
22:56on it i know but sometimes you have to let it go my heart just started studying i really just didn't
23:04want to look stupid on the runway maybe i'll make some little flowers or something you just have a
23:10lot of work to do i know go on go and see the next person let me finish okay
23:17daniel okay you've made great progress thank you tim i uh great progress i'm imbuing the spirits of
23:23picasso and marcel du champ my theory is that anyone could be elegant at any time if they just apply
23:30themselves and basically applying themselves to me to stop thinking find the purity in the in the
23:35design in the garment this is seduction about daniel when you're within about three feet of him
23:40you get into his orbit and you believe but then when you step back you look at what he's done you
23:45ask yourself what is that is this looking too much like butcher paper it is butcher paper it can't be
23:51helped so i hate to to cut this short tim but i gotta get back to it thank you so much all right
23:58i love how daniel just brushed tim off saying that listen tim i gotta get back to work man
24:02you know you i'm sorry you know you wasted my time tim was leaving kind of like scratching his head
24:08like what just happened i think he was moving he was in shock himself too all right
24:16everyone just one last thing at midnight and everybody out
24:19i am feeling the race against time now yes
24:37it's definitely meant to be a placemat and not a garment
24:55luckily tomorrow we have a couple hours which is i think just the amount of time
25:00i'll need to pull it all together
25:05oh what a night
25:06since i've been here i've had this opportunity to just really think about
25:24what i'm doing with my life i mean i certainly have a lot of abilities as a lawyer but i'm learning
25:29so much and really would like to stay as long as possible i know someone's going home today
25:44it makes me very very sad you notice how i'm wearing all black
25:52yeah today today is the d-day i know there's a funeral we'll be going home in a garment bag
25:59okay everyone we have on exactly two hours to achieve a lot we're going to be bringing your
26:11models in you're going to be doing a fitting with the model and then you're going to be tweaking and
26:16refining and doing whatever you need to do to your garment your models will go to the l'oreal hair
26:21and makeup rooms to get prepped for the show okay great make it work
26:33the morning of was pretty hectic everybody's running around doing their own thing it's
26:38it's a lot of pressure i'm not going home today you want to go home no you don't want to go home do you
26:44we ain't going home austin having not refrigerated this produce uh the corn husk had shrunk they were
26:52now corn chips at least there isn't any additional shrinkage
27:01i was definitely worried i had a lot of things to work out i just didn't know how i was going to
27:09finish it how are you feeling that feels fine yeah it's coming it's coming it's coming everybody's
27:19been working with their models for about half an hour now and my model's not here she's being hand
27:25painted so i need time to do the hand painting i was really worried because i didn't know if i was
27:33going to have a model if she doesn't come go to the street and go get a model yeah genius thing to
27:37do i think a girl go for it i'll be back
27:47i didn't know if i was going to have a model you know they're trying to call rongan they just
28:04couldn't reach her i don't know really what i'm doing
28:09i'm going to have a model i'm going to have a model i'm going to have a model
28:13excuse me have you ever thought of modeling no i haven't
28:21heidi plume's going to be there do you know heidi plume is a supermodel yeah i do
28:27what do you think no okay
28:30um my mother is out of town and she usually wakes me up
28:43morgan yeah this is really bad i know really bad and poor kara has crashed and burned she's
28:50out on the street literally looking for a model
28:52okay
29:03morgan arrived okay my agency just dropped me
29:08why because you're late

29:48like he should be kissing our asses
29:51all right everybody
30:12welcome to the runway where your first challenge will be judged
30:16everyone knows that the fashion business is ruthless one day you're in and the next day you're out
30:26today one designer will be selected as the winner of this challenge and one of you will be out
30:34this week's challenge was about innovation
30:39and we will judge you on your use of unconventional materials now let's meet the judges
30:46we have michael kors who's one of the most influential designers in america
30:53nina garcia is the fashion director for the top selling l magazine
31:01our guest judge for today is patricia field we all know her from dressing the beautiful girls on sex in
31:06the city we will be scoring your designs as they come down the runway let's start the show
31:16my corn dress started to shrivel and dry up and it didn't look very good
31:44i am nervous that i may be eliminated
31:54the stakes for me are huge because if i do well i am going to have a better chance of realizing my
32:01dream of being a real fashion designer who who can really deliver the goods on all levels
32:07i actually didn't watch the judges when my model walks so i have no idea how they responded to it
32:20i didn't have any confidence in myself or in my design
32:29if these people remotely have an eye for creativity then they won't eliminate me
32:46when it comes down to it it's who can walk the best and morgan can walk regardless if she's late or
33:12tragic or whatever's going on in life she could walk
33:26i'm not out to flash the judges i want to wow them with great concept design you know not like glitter on the runway
33:46i had innovation in the cut of the jacket i had innovation in tailoring the butcher paper i know the
33:58designs of michael kors i read l magazine a lot i know what they're looking for
34:11i feel really confident with the dress it's a look that i wanted to go for
34:29and seriously i don't care if i get eliminated i don't compromise my art
34:41i want to ask all 12 designers to please come on stage
35:00we've tallied your scores if i say your name i want you to please step forward
35:06the judges are looking up at you and you have no idea how they voted
35:34and it is excruciating i had a prediction of who i thought was going to go so i was in that group
35:41and i'm like ah none of you are out your scores have qualified you to stay in for the next challenge
35:51you may leave the runway
35:54when they said you know you're safe for the next round you can't see it but i just wanted to jump off
36:00the stage and say you know just scream the six of you that remain had the highest and the lowest scores
36:10we will ask you questions on your designs the judges will deliberate and one of you will be named the
36:16winner the winner will have immunity for the next challenge and cannot be eliminated next week
36:22and one of you will be out i'm just so nervous i can't even think there i was probably in the three of the
36:34worst category just the thought of being the first ones at home really was horrible
36:53the six of you represent the best and the worst let's bring back your models
37:05patricia do you want to start austin you know your corn dress did you boil the corn leaves and sculpt
37:14them from a soft condition basically i shocked all the fresh corn and i put it together
37:20fresh it dried out i'm hoping i'm praying the judges will take into consideration that
37:28i use something organic wendy what were you thinking because i see very little clothes
37:36um i met my model and she said she was from brazil all right i get it so you are going to rio
37:44i just wish i would have seen more clothes
37:50and vanessa i wanted to ask you about your inspiration my inspiration was cajun but it doesn't
37:56look very cajun because it's supposed to have uh mini lobsters what are they called crawfish right
38:02and they were going to be trapped in the net but it really didn't need them so are do you wear black
38:08a lot i love black yeah all women love black you know even though i'm sitting here wearing black
38:12you're wearing black i would have loved to have seen more color somehow the crawfish i have a
38:17feeling would have not smelled fabulously but they really would have done something
38:21daniel can we see what is underneath the dress please do
38:29this jacket i made a pattern first because i only had a limited amount this butcher paper which i got
38:33for free from the store and it took me a long time to make this binding which is a tin foil and i tried
38:40to give it the best treatment that i could for the amount of time that we had nora i think you did an
38:46amazing job i think it's interesting it's innovative and at the same time it's actually
38:53kind of wearable yeah i think it's great i think it's really it's terrific we have not heard so much
38:59about your star do you want to explain a little bit what you were thinking my initial inspiration was
39:05an ironing board cover um which is this part here and i liked the color and then i really like
39:14this wrapping paper especially when it's crinkled um i don't really know how wearable it is
39:24i want to ask all the designers and models to please leave the stage
39:28i'm gonna have a little chat with my judges thank you
39:31what's the worst thing what are you worried about the most going home going out
39:43okay you're not gonna go out
39:47a lot of them they started adding things onto things onto things it was like one of these rather than one
39:54concept exactly the bikini the candy there were no clothes that's that's my pet peeve there are no
40:01it was happy when i got to daniel i was just like oh my god like garbage bag couture again it was like
40:08what's the easiest thing and boring thing i could do i didn't like stars either i think it was like
40:13totally expected get some tin foil and make a party it's like the garbage bag dress
40:33and fashion is all about what's in and what's out and we have made our decision
40:43manessa you're in you can leave the runway
40:52nora
40:53we're in
41:02wendy you're in you can leave the runway
41:04there are three of you left one of you will be the winner and one of you will be out
41:22but the winner is austin to choose coin husks show true innovation
41:28thank you all thank you very very much awesome that means that you're safe for the next challenge
41:39it was really wonderful probably you know one of my most wonderful moments of my life you can do
41:45the runway thank you
41:59daniel and star one of you must go
42:06daniel we felt you didn't challenge yourself enough
42:11your choice of materials and design were far too simple
42:15star you weren't innovative enough with your materials or design you need to show us a better concept
42:25star
42:29you are still in but you just barely made it you can leave the runway
42:40and that means daniel is out
42:48i'll feed us in

42:55i'm pretty pretty shocked
42:58didn't expect that
43:03wish you the very best thank you you too
43:10oh well
43:13i was disappointed
43:14but if you believe in theatrics then there are a lot of designers for you to choose from
43:20however you know if you believe in honor dignity integrity if you believe in artistic credence and
43:27if you believe in an artistic honesty and if you believe in following your bliss
43:32then i'm daniel franco and i'd like to wish you bliss
43:40next on project runway are you all ready for your next challenge i'm not amused by this
43:51you don't think i'm worthy of you being nice to me it's all about envy people are starting to get
