00:00I, as Prime Minister of this country, might be the only person in this country who does
00:07not have the option to not support the Commission of Police, doesn't matter who he or she is,
00:13doesn't matter what other issues might be going down.
00:17I am required to support the Commission of Police, who is in office.
00:22Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley sought to defend further the Police Commissioner.
00:27Because you see me trying to fire the Commission of Police, how many pages you want in the
00:31Guardian to print how interfering the Prime Minister is?
00:35Tell me.
00:36The same person who is chaining you up there to say, fire the Commission of Police and
00:41the Prime Minister should do that, that same page, that same person is saying, don't talk
00:45to the Commission of Police because you're interfering and we have, what, separation
00:50of powers and all kind of nonsense.
00:52Dr Rowley said all laws are different to other countries.
00:56And they compare here with El Salvador, where the President in El Salvador decided to lock
01:04up everybody with a tattoo, or anybody who said they know somebody with a tattoo.
01:10We can't do that in Trinidad and Tobago.
01:14What we have agreed to be governed by is a suite of laws that doesn't allow that.
