00:00Political leader of the PNM and the former Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley
00:05attended the PNM-Tobago Council's prayer and Thanksgiving event on Saturday.
00:10Delivering the feature address, PNM-Tobago Council political leader Ansel Dennis
00:15pleaded with Tobagonians that in light of the upcoming general elections, now is
00:20not the time to play games with their future.
00:24Now is not the time to play games with the future of Tobago and the future of
00:29this country. We have the two best candidates in the race. We have the best
00:40most organized and the most respected political party in the country and I
00:50want to tell you all how important that is because if you realize every Tom, Dick,
00:55Harry and Kizil is forming a political organization hoping to govern you and
01:09when they're not forming new organizations, they're pulling together and calling
01:15themselves coalitions of interests. But be careful because that coalition of
01:24interests does not have your interests at heart. Mr. Dennis said there are
01:31projects to be completed under the PNM. We still have the new cruise ship
01:37terminal to be established in Scarborough. We still have the waterfront
01:42complex to be established in Scarborough. We still have the well-respected
01:47Sandals Resort to be constructed in Tobago. We still have the Marriott Hotel
01:53to be constructed in Tobago. We still have the marina to be constructed in
01:59Tobago. The journey must continue under the People's National Movement. Dennis
02:04boasted about the recently commissioned A&R Robinson International Airport
02:09Expansion Project. For those of you who travel on the plane, you will understand
02:17the shortcomings of the existing airport facilities. Just a few days ago
02:23we celebrated the completion of a new state-of-the-art modern airport
02:31facility. Thanks to Dr. Rowley and his government. PNM Tobago West candidate
02:38Shamphuka Joe Lewis and the PNM Tobago East candidate Ayanna Webster-Roy were
02:43also presented. At least six political parties and one independent candidate
02:49are contesting the Tobago East and West seats in Tobago. Elizabeth Williams, TV 6
